Not really, to be honest :[ That is, they won't cause a mind blown like Ashbury Heights songs, I guess. The songs I wrote about earlier are suitable for Kazui in my opinion with absolutely every line and sound. In the rest, which I will write, I prefer to ignore some of the lines. Sorry. Almost all of my song associations are related to the Kazui's case, so. idk why. __ "S.T.O.P. The Sun" and "Sometimes" by And One. (Initially, I only thought about the first song, but after the last answers to the questions where Kazui talks about his father, I realized that "sometimes" is also incredibly suitable for him)

__ I would also like to mention Fuuta and Kotoko. I associate both of them with the songs of the russian band Pornofilmy (don't let the name fool you. they don't sing about something obscene). The songs of this band are about politics, simply put. Injustice of the authorities, inaction of the police, or vice versa, abuse of authority, despair and so on. It is difficult now to insert lines of text from some of their songs into the post for example. It's just hard for me to listen to these songs, but it seems to me that they are very suitable for these two.

__ Maybe there would be more examples here if I could listen well to foreign languages (I mean, I perceive a foreign text normally and an approximate translation immediately goes through my head. but in the case of songs, when you need to listen to it, there are problems with fast processing of information. so). Still, I listen to a lot of songs, but I don't always listen to the lyrics. Maybe sometime in the future this list of associations will be replenished.

Trying makeup for the first time with Nikolai and Chuu, they were both so proud of me for embracing who I am and what I wanted to do, even though it looked awful they were so supporting.

Watching Sigma break out of their shell and do some singing on the small stage at the maid cafe! I'm pretty sure Edgar did some performances with them which sounds ridiculous, but tbh he wasn't half bad at singing.

Watching Chuu smash a tray over Dazai's head in the middle of the cafe. Dazai wasn't a bad guy in the end, but I didn't like him at first because he was not used to having things not go his way, however seeing his reaction to being hit over the head by a maid and the bosses did NOTHING... That was golden.

Happiest memories: Supernatural creatures Kirumi timeline!

Running in the forest as a wolf! I was trying to understand how Rantaro felt as a werewolf, and while I couldn't become an actual werewolf, being a wolf was fun and it became a regular occurrence that we'd go out together.

I think I looked after the 'lil ultimates' sometimes. I can't remember what creatures they were (I suspect Kotoko was a fairy and Daimon was also a werewolf) but they were always getting up to mischief so I was on call a lot because I could look after them

Tbh just the mundane things from then made me really happy, like making potions for class, doing homework. I remember helping Kaito a lot with academic stuff- He was a fun guy.

Happiest memories: Keke (regular timeline)

Pretty much all of them involve Kanon, he was my partner and I loved her so much.

In my canon Tiny Stars had more Mandarin in it, so I remember teaching Kanon the pronunciation of some of the harder words. She studied very hard to get them right for the day of the performance.

Preforming at Love Live! was a big thing! It was all I had dreamed of before going to Japan and to do it and win in the end with our group felt amazing, I cried so hard.

no need to apologise, anon. it's what we're here for! but i bet you have a hard time believing things like that, huh? right off the bat i can say that you’re a person whose self esteem is so low it’s practically rock bottom. please try to get a hold of your severe anxiety rather than melding it into your personality as a way to cope with it, because eventually you are just going to let that anxiety and worry swallow you whole. you were definitely bullied as a child, are currently being bullied, or both. you lack the spine to properly stick up for yourself and instead let people do what they may to avoid causing anymore problems. you certainly don’t enjoy being treated like this and probably suffer from intrusive thoughts about the people that have made you suffer. you are meek and timid on the outside, but inside you have so many bold words to say, you just lack the confidence to talk back to someone for a change.

you have been mistreated your entire life and it’s come to the point where you’ve just accepted being treated this way as part of your life, a part of you may even think that you’re deserving of it. you may be a victim of some kind of abuse, sexual, physical, emotional, or otherwise. this is another thing that has likely broken down your self esteem into nothing. you’ve been betrayed by people you've held dear too many times to count, and you’ve likely done very self-destructive things just to avoid losing those people. there are probably even toxic people in your life right now that don’t deserve that place, but you don’t want to see that truth, maybe it’s because they’re all you have, the only ones to show you what you perceive as love and care but they aren’t.

you have people that care about you. you also need to stop working yourself down to the bone day after day, even if you love what you’re doing, you are slowly but surely destroying yourself. sometimes even just for the sake of other people. you need to start treating yourself as a priority, you can’t only take care of other people when you’re slowly killing yourself.

first off, i match you with...

tenko chabashira!

you fit with tenko a lot, as you might already know, haha! the two of you definitely go through phases of high emotion and energy, and tenko also has her moments where she’s more serious and less hyper- and plus, we don’t see her actual character for more than the  she’s definitely passionate about her interests, as she’s spent several years devoted to neo aikido, and getting closer to her in free time events is very much revolved around this. i wouldn’t be surprised if one of the biggest ways you both connect with other people is through those interests! tenko, though it might not seem obvious with her roughness towards boys, does i think try to make others happy and impress them. she doesn’t encourage unnecessary violence, and she is rather polite at times, and she’s... almost overbearingly, affectionate towards the girls. i think that you could associate yourself with that, anon, as i wouldn’t be surprised if there is a specific niche of people that you don’t try to filter yourself around. tenko, while it was naive, did have her own reasons for disliking men and you probably have your own reasons for disliking certain kinds of people. that’s just a guess though, don’t take it as gospel or anything!

i don’t think tenko has a lot of close friends either, actually- that’s just a quick thing, if i tried to explain it this post would get even longer haha... the only difference i really see between you two is that tenko’s more of an emotional thinker. however, i think that it’s more because she’s an impulsive person, rather than her knowing how her emotions are and working based off of them- i don’t think she can really sort out her emotions too well either. in a strange way, i think that she logically knows her own emotions? hopefully that makes sense- like, she logically knows what they are and how to work them out, but struggles to in the moment. plus, she can most certainly be loud, and can come off as very childish or as you say, dumb. i don’t think she is, though, it’s just hard for her to properly show it with her impulsiveness like i was saying earlier, as well as her general loud demeanour.

monotaro!

pleeeease hear me out for a second. as much as i don’t like pairing people with the monos, i think that you still fit with monotaro a lot! first off, throughout the game, he goes through phases of being very energetic and bubbly to not having the motivation to talk- and although he forgets them several times which is a whole nother thing on its own, he can be very passionate about the things that he cares about. although since his character isn’t very expanded on, this is pretty much limited to his family and nothing else. monotaro does actually try to make others happy, i think, outside of monokuma- a lot of the time he doesn’t seem actively against the main cast at all. at least, that was how it seemed to me. hell, i’d argue that the only reason he’s not on the side of the protagonists is because of his devotion to his father, once again trying to impress him and make him happy. once he starts imprinting on miu and kiibo, though, he tries to avenge miu’s death and almost becomes an ally to the main cast.

i’d also say that he doesn’t have a lot of close friends, as is sort of seen in the game, haha. this is were something different comes in- i think that monotaro does think rather most of the time. while a lot of his actions are motivated by fear of his father, he is regarded as a somewhat-dumb-yet-reliable figure by his siblings. plus, i think the fact that he’s typically neutral to their bullying and doesn’t do it often compared to most of the kubs tends to mean that he’s not really driven by anger, at least, that he doesn’t hold much rivalry towards his siblings. he also does seem confused by, or at least not understanding of, many others characters’ emotions. he can also be very loud and talk over the other characters, and he definitely comes off as childish or dumb. i’d say that compared to the other kubs, he isn’t. however, i’d say that the only real difference he has from you is that he actually isn’t very intelligent, while you do have plenty brainpower behind that childish exterior.

we’re switching up the vibe a bit here! i think that your energy is a bit less restrained than sonia’s, as i do believe she can sway from low to high energy, however the range seems to be a little lower than yours. by that i mean... her low energy and high energy are closer together. i hope that makes sense! jumping to the back, sonia can come off as rather naive or airheaded, but as a princess, she did receive a very high education and knows more about the world than one may think. i think that sonia does think rather logically as well, as while she does have her own feelings, she tends to prioritize what’s best for the others around her instead of those. i do think that part of that naivety that people see in her is that she tries her best to be a ‘normal girl’, as this is what she wants to be the most, but can end up coming off as a bit standoffish due to her being rather foreign. along with her, in my eyes, not being the most emotionally sensitive in one-on-one conversation, the fact that she doesn’t really get slang or sayings since she’s in another country doesn’t help.

she definitely tries to make others happy or impressed with her as, well, she’s meant to be a ruler and tries her best to take on this role. a lot of her spearheading the rest of the group is likely due to this, as she wants to please and lead the people around her- in general, she also just cares a lot for all of her friends as well, and will be rather polite even to students she doesn’t like(such as nagito ingame). her status can definitely make her not have that many close friends, though she can typically be on good terms with many kinds of people. lastly, sonia is very passionate about her interests! the occult is something that she doesn’t hesitate to talk about, and though it’s seen as somewhat taboo considering she’s, you know, a monarch(and just in general, people can find it a little out of the ordinary), she very clearly loves it and isn’t afraid to do so.

Chiaki - She can come off as awkward, and crackheady. Her expressions aren’t hard to read, so when she’s serious or angry, you can definitely tell. Now, I think Chiaki is on the shorter side of the height chart?? Compared to most of her classmates, she is short. Napping too much is a mood, for the both of you.

Kotoko - She *loves* pink things, cute things, and adorable things! She’s short, but not too short. I wouldn’t say kind, but definitely funny! In the beginning of UDG, she was chased around with a dead body. They obviously made a joke out of it, showing the weird sense of humor they have. As long as you’re not an un peeled chestnut, you’ll be fine!

Mina- she’s a jokester, and a crackhead! She loves pink, probably hence why her hero band is pinky, and she’s pink- but that’s besides the point! She cares about her friends a lot, usually protecting them from Mineta.

I’m back again with another drama review!(^O^)/

The second season of Itazura na Kiss~Love in Tokyo picks up with the now married Naoki (Furukawa) and Kotoko (Honoka) in college.  Naoki is getting ready to become a doctor while Kotoko tries her hardest to become a nurse so she can work beside her husband. 

I reviewed the first season of Itazura na Kiss: Love in Tokyo right here. The same with my first review, I had a very hard time watching Kotoko sometimes.  I know Japan is a male dominated society, but watching stories like this push feminism in Japan back a few steps.  I know, I know—it’s a cute romantic-comedy with the clumsy girl and the cool guy.  I shouldn’t be thinking too much into it.  BUT come on, Kotoko! Do you really not have any independence whatsoever?? Is Naoki all you think about 24/7?? Also, why do you call your husband by your last name when you, too, have the same last name?

(^^”I just love him so much!” Okay, calm down, Kotoko!)

Also, I think they made Kotoko dumber this season.  Every episode was Kotoko making mistakes and Naoki showing up, acting all cold, but still looked cool in Kotoko’s eyes. Kotoko did have a couple of her own suitors even though her love for Naoki would never waver.  A fellow nursing student, Keita (Horii), fell in love with Kotoko and, honestly, I actually liked him better than Naoki in their short-lived love triangle.  

(^^Then, again, if Keita falls for Kotoko, I really don’t trust his sense of judgment of others)

I did like the fact that Kinnosuke (Yamada) got his own love interest in Chris (Nakai).  They were cute in the end even though he acted cold to her like Naoki did to Kotoko (and Yuki to Yoshimi).  Girls, if guys are jerks to you, why do you keep falling for them?? If it’s because they like you, that’s wrong.  They should show you they like you by actually caring for you and not doing the opposite. But I do like the character trope of cold guys being only warm to the girls they love (I know, such a cliché), so I’m not one to say anything (^^;;)

I know this review was mostly being harsh on Kotoko.  I’m all for character development, but it just didn’t happen for her or Naoki this season.  It’s a cute story and something you can put on when you just don’t want to think, but overall, I think there are better romantic-comedy J-dramas out there.  There was no need for a second season, so I definitely recommend season 1 over season 2.

Favorites: Favorite Character: Probably, Kin-chan and Keita.  Favorite Episode:  Probably the episodes with the budding love triangle amongst Kotoko, Naoki, and Keita (episodes 6 or 7) Favorite Scene: The last scene with Kotoko and Naoki walking with their daughter and Sky Tree is in the background was actually a nice ending.

headcanons for shsl ventriloquist kotoko

heres ur headcanons, kotoko! so, i kinda read kotoko as kyouko when i claimed ur ask, and i didnt realize it until the ask posted, so if u want someone who isnt kin with kotoko to do these just say so and that can be arranged, alright? i hope u like ur headcanons, and dont be afraid to ask for changes! - mod kiibo - from a young age, kotoko worked hard to hone her abilities as a ventriloquist, practicing day in and day out to make sure her voice could be heard clear as day without her ever needing to open her mouth. in the beginning, her lips would end up moving a bit and giving her away, but after a while she could do it pretty much perfectly - while she was still learning how to talk without moving her lips, kotoko would often try to mess with her friends using the technique, often trying to make it seem as if someone was calling them, even if they were looking right at her. this was definitely weird for some people, but knowing that she was being convincing was a big motivator for kotoko - when kotoko decided that it was finally time to start going on stage, she had to pick out different puppets for herself to use. unfortunately for kotoko, she wanted to use pretty much every puppet the store had that was totally adorbs! she really didnt wanna settle with puppets that were just cute, so she only ended up getting adorable puppets - in order to fit the puppets cute personas, kotoko made sure that her ventriloquism on stage revolved around adorable themes, and would often include her puppets talking about cute things that made her happy. of course, the puppets were always a bit sassier than she was, but she made sure to do that for a comedic edge - despite the fact that she was on stage, kotoko would still ramble on and lose track of what she was trying to say right in the middle of her sentences, though she tried to do this while the puppets were talking. after all, kotoko knew she needed to be the straight man! so, she would end up mocking herself for getting sidetracked while talking as a puppet - every once in a while, kotoko would bring up the other warriors of hope while on stage, talking about them as if theyre the best people to have ever existed. she would then make the puppets mock them a bit, but she never meant it with any harm. it was all nice little fun and games, after all! she would also scold the puppets for being so mean - after a while, kotoko figured out that she could talk about her true feelings through the puppets because of her ventriloquy, and if she played it off jokingly enough, people would still laugh and have fun! she was a bit scared to do this, because her puppets were so cute, but she figured that it was something that she had to do for herself - because of that realization, kotokos ventriloquy shows took a bit of a turn. the humor got a bit darker, and kotokos face always stayed the same; happy and smiling. it didnt matter what the puppets seemed to talk about, because kotokos face always stayed happy and smiling. people seemed to enjoy the darker humor, though, which was a relief to kotoko - kotoko actually enjoyed putting her puppets in different outfits, usually buying a bunch of adorable dresses and accessories for them, and dressing them all up in the cutest way that she knew how. she would always take pictures of her cute puppets and show them to people, just so that they could see how good kotoko was at making things cute - even though being a ventriloquist meant that most people just laughed at different things kotoko said, she was glad that there was a way to talk about some of her problems and emotions while acting as if they arent hers at all. sure, that might not be the healthiest way to deal with her problems, but kotoko was glad she didnt have to solely rely on acting

you seem to have loooots of energy, like an endless amount. youre always bouncing around, and its pretty contagious tbh!!

in addition to that energy, you also seem to be very optimistic!! even when things seem to be dumb or pointless to others, you still push through with all youve got. you appear to be the type to look towards the future.

despite your optimism tho, i think you might be a little jumpy. you dont really like taking risks unless absolutely necessary, and you might have anxiety despite your upbeat attitude.

and even tho youre not always skilled in everything you do, and people often criticize you for your optimism, youre still a try hard. when you do something, you always try to put in your full effort. this can lead to some burnout tho when you push yourself to the max too much.

youre very stubborn however, and still push on even when youre physically unable. you hate giving up on things until theyre absolutely perfect, and failure is not an option. if your loved ones attempt to get you to take breaks, you might get stressed and snap, which you feel very bad for later.

quick reminder that your work wont go anywhere, and that taking breaks will only help you get back up to your full potential!! pushing too hard will only cause issues later, and relaxing is just as important and productive as work.

you can be somewhat bossy, but i dont think you realize you are most of the time. you just want everything to work out perfectly, and with your upbeat personality, you often end up hyping others up and taking charge without even noticing.

you can often be judgy and biased, but not to be rude. its just the way youve always seen the world, so you can make a lot of assumptions about others based on first impressions..
