we all love our gagged whumpees, but the way im automatically won over is when the tiny process of whumpee being gagged is described in very careful detail.

pushing the tangled hair out of their face so you can slide the straps under it. maybe it's coated with sweat.

if whumpee is defiant, i love seeing how they toss their head back and how you have to force their mouth open. maybe they bite a few times? very annoying for whumper. but shoving their head back towards you, gripping onto their hair and telling them to cut that shit out...ooh, that's fun.

then theres the look!! i wanna know what they eyes are doing!! are they glaring straight ahead to avoid looking at whumper, or shooting daggers at them anyway? do they stare at the ground? or is it all listless if they've done this many times before?

and when you're done... i wanna know the result. what kind of gag is it (personally im a sucker for open-mouth) and how does it make em look? are they drooling already? what does whumper have to say about this?

I absolutely adore how much this fandom likes to portray Stede and Ed snuggled up in bed. I see so many headcanons, pieces of art, and fanfiction depicting such, and it never fails to warm my heart.

Because like, I think it showcases such beautiful warmth and safety. Sleeping leaves you at your most vulnerable. It’s such a simple action to perform, but I think it really speaks on so much trust.

It shows love, comfortability, familiarity, and domesticity. And I want nothing more for Ed and Stede.

harper rehab failed (again), sorry 💔

(m!harper, gn reader, yandere, vague dubcon, vague somno[?] short kinda fluffy blurb about having a little cuddle with harper to sleep)

You were getting increasingly frustrated with your trouble sleeping as of late.

Who could blame you? Being assaulted over and over and over would have such an effect on someone over time. Gut-wrenching unplaceable paranoia, replays of the events in your head keeping you from even wanting to close your eyes.

And so you wince as you propose your request for Doctor Harper to keep you close company as you sleep. You were unsure if it'd be too far.

Quite the opposite. He smiled warmly at you when the words left your mouth, as if it wasn't the slightest bit strange. How could he refuse? He'd make an excuse to give to his colleagues later about why he's falling behind. Something about your insomnia being a detriment to your health, and you needing special care.

And that's how you ended up like this. Held close up against the doctor's chest. His steady breath ever so slightly audible to you in the quiet of the wardroom. His fingers gently and lovingly stroking your hair, his heart admittedly fluttering in his chest at having you close to him like this. So precious, so vulnerable... He watches your sleeping face, taking in the way you shift a little. He wraps his arms around you a bit tighter, burying his nose in your hair and deeply breathing you in, savoring your perfect frame against his. He'd be more than happy to do this every night for you. He doesn't know how long it will take until you feel safe sleeping alone again, but he couldn't imagine it being enough. He idly presses a soft kiss to your forehead, eyes half lidded and staring straight ahead as his mind starts to drift towards some way he could keep you like this. Hypnosis, prescribing a cocktail of medications known to induce night terrors, putting it under the guise of some sort of therapy... He'd figure that all out eventually. As for now, he's noticed he couldn't help but get hard with your body pressed up against him. You'd have to forgive him if you happened to wake up around now. He's sure you would, if you really needed him so badly to begin with.
