i know i said i wouldn't do hcs about his own kid, but my friend brought this up and i found it too cute to not include; if grayson has a son, he'd buy matching suits with him.

once, their grand father hosted a gathering with other important families at hawthorne house. the families brought their kids, and grayson took care of all of them. he took them to the bowling alley; grayson was terrified that the kids would squash their little fingers under the bowling balls.

grayson doesn't really like signing autographs, but if a little kid comes up to him and asks him for one, he does it with no hesitation and adds a little heart after his name.

he once went on a humanitarian trip to a poorer country and made everyone food. he would personally go up to the little kids and give them plates. his hear would melt when the kids beamed up at him.

grayson gossips with his nieces and nephews when he drives them to school.

grayson has an obsession with the way babies smell. whenever influential families attend events with their newborns, grayson is the first to offer to hold them just so he can smell them.

speaking of holding kids, he loves stroking their head. he finds their hair so soft and fuzzy. it's an addiction.

on his humanitarian trip, he would buy supplies to make care packages for the little kids.

speaking of buying gifts for kids, he would most definitely buy gifts for his nieces and nephews like every week. he would go out and buy one this for each of them and put them in gift bags.

kids come over during balls and events so often that grayson bought tons of toys and things to entertain them. he has a basket in his room filled with toys and gadgets he worked on with xander.

he used to work as a tutor for free for people who didn't have the means to pay for a tutor. he had a website and all where people could book appointments.

he sometimes heads to those libraries where you read books to little kids to do just that, read to them. he'd add a lot of emotion into his voice and would just be really dramatic (like "aNd LuCy jUmPeD oFF oF ThE cLiFf InTo ThE WaTeR, JusT LiKe My Ex GiRlfRiEnD (but she died)" the kids: :o))

he brings his old kids books to those street libraries.

he's an amazing painter, and sometimes paints commissions for free. he specifically paints paintings for little kids.

when kids come over during galas and events, he'll bring them to the piano room (cause the most definitely have that) and performs songs for them.

when he does this, he takes pictures of the kids laughing and having fun and gives them to the parents.

he loves giving little kids piggy back rides and throwing them into the air. he loves hearing their laughs.

he visits hospitals often to give the little kids gifts and stuff and keep them company.

he literally lets kids do anything to him. he lets them do his makeup, will eat anything they make, etc.

he's very talented when it comes to calming kids down. he can literally get a kid to stop crying in the blink of an eye.

whenever he's out and sees a mother/father struggling with their kid while putting the groceries in their car or smth. he jumps out of his car and offers to take care of the kid (people trust him bc of how famous he is)

when he sees them struggling, he literally gives them all of the paper money in their wallet bc he hates seeing little kids and their parents struggling

he somehow helps get kids orphanages gets adopted. idk how but he does.

he learned to sew just so he could make little outfits for kids.

he adores playing peek a boo with little newborns cause he loves to see the expressions they make.

he has a really nice singing voice and can sing beautiful lullabies. kids fall asleep in a matter of seconds when he sings them to sleep.

he wrote a kids book when he was 16.

#whenever my meds kick in it feels like im gonna piss myself. not literally but its really really feels like it #and now whenever that happens my mind goes back to pancho (grandmas dog) at a xmas party years ago #bc he peed when we arrived bc he was so excited to see ppl and my cousin had to clean it up :o) #well for better or for worse i know that feeling now when im pumped on 20mg of adderall #im still getting used to this whole diagnosis thing cause ive gone untreated and undiagnosed for the longest time. so theres probably a lot #i still dont know and have to learn to get myself to be.. functional on my own? self managing???? #i even set up reminders on my phone for work periods meals and stuff. but the problem is actually getting myself to stick to that to a T #because the minute i slack off or something gets in the way it throws it all off until i can be bothered to get back on track. it sucks #at least ive built up other habits like writing notes and setting alarms ahead of time.. but i feel like i could do better #its always hard to change something if youve been doing it wrong for the longest time. especially behaviour and thinking patterns. sigh #in other news my glasses bailed on me so i have to get a new pair sometime. i just realized i never draw my sona with glasses but thats #mostly bc i forget. id love to get some browline glasses like my old pair but im picky and its hard to find one id like for the next 5 year #i also finally managed to collect all the fish in my animal crossing file!!! pulled out a char last week and boom now i have a poster :o) #THAT was a moment where i almost peed myself for real. id love to get all the bugs but i cant stay up late on the switch :o( #yapping #my art #myart #doodles #personal #diary

I made this blog mainly as a place to store art + memes for my fandoms and doodles of my original stories. I’ve posted a lot of the former, but none of the latter, so… Here you go? Have some goofy “incorrect quotes” inspired jokes of a project of mine called The Name-Oath.

Context is indented and italicized, but you can probably read through the doodles below without getting too confused if you skip it:

The first half of the actual plot is your standard fae romance starring a human woman who doesn’t realize the male lead is a supernatural creature, and just thinks he’s really into cosplaying alone in a mansion in some freaky forest. The second half is rom-com shenanigans between the divorced human woman and male lead after the world's ugliest breakup. He desperately tries to get back together at every waking moment and she just wants to hang out with her bestie Summer and raise her half-fae daughter in peace. The human woman is named Eglantine, but goes by Egg. She got stuck with the nickname during high school and decided to start going by it in an effort to have a more "average" sounding name. This did not work as intended, but it certainly helped her avoid getting her name stolen when she first met the male lead. She's something called a skipwitch. This is a whole worldbuilding thing I'm not going to get into here. The male lead is named Kieran. He is a drama king. He spent several centuries under magical house arrest. He can talk to rats. He has pretty hair. This is all you need to know about him, except maybe the fact that he's royalty. Summer is Egg's best friend, and she is the resident fae expert in her and Egg's coven. Competitive and protective of Egg. She hates Kieran's guts, and the feeling is mutual. Egg and Kieran's daughter is named Violet, but she goes by Froggy. She is a terrifying force of nature by virtue of being the offspring of a skipwitch and Unseelie prince. Enjoys microwave pizzas, her pet beta fish, video games, and getting her way. Alois is Kieran's invisible butler. He's a surprisingly talented singer.

Wait if you think about it… there’s a few parallels there between Dovewing and Moonwatcher. Both are socially stunted individuals that get manipulated by an older mentor figure they trusted, they were isolated in childhood because of circumstances out of their control, and because of that isolation, their “family” and community don’t really accept them, also they have sensory based powers they have to keep secret (which further isolates them) and most importantly- they are both misophonia soldiers 🫡

#love this invasive bitch. put off removing it and now it's took over the whole container #gardenblr #plantblr #mint #on the side: i've been toying around with linux mint! #it's really satisfying to learn little things by just. searching the web for it and figuring it out yourself #did something that might or might not be called a persistent live usb #which basically means you install linux on an usb stick #and use part of all of its memory to actually store the files you create and modify #just like if it were the actual hard drive of your computer #so i can have this second very small computer that uses like all the components from my laptop but has a little separate memory #it also took me more than an hour to figure out how to install software #i needed a screen dimmer bc I manually changed my laptop's panel for a better one but it doesn't have adjustable brightness compatibility #but like online i'd only find the ones that made your screen yellower not actually LESS bright than 3 suns (it was late at night) #and when i finally found a couple it was insane #they wanted to be like?? complied? or something from the terminal? i think? #but i needed like a bunch of plugins to python 2 to do that and i ALSO had to install them via the terminal #after a decent hour scouring the web for How To Do This and installing some stuff and getting a bazillion errors #i found out i had actually installed python 3 stuff #i took to google in pain #googlin things like 'why is installing things so hard on linux' and 'linux is hard help why' #and i'd only get reddit threads from nerds being like 'i can't understand ppl who say installing is hard. it's MUCH harder on windows!' #'where you need to SEARCH the thing ONLINE.... not me an intellectual i just put the right thing in the terminal and WHAM!' #and i truly wanted to behead them and drink their blood #until i found a confused user basically voicing my same issues #and a guy responded 'wait... you've been just putting in random commands in your terminal from online? that's dangerous don't' #and explained that in linux you don't... actually do things like trusting online stuff at random #that it's like android actually. there's repositories. you have a preinstalled software that will install things for you #and yeah truly. it was there. it had all the good software. it was easy as fuck. probably easier than windows actually #it was fun!!! hope i didn't fuck something up with the terminal when i installed 100 pythons or whatever :)

genuinely so emo abt the fact that i have friends who want to do stuff w me now omg

#i was v scared for college bc i have had. such awful luck w finding ppl who want to do things w me #the closest friendship ive ever had was online lol and even that ended w me being ignored and pushed away so its a v foreign experience for #other ppl to v openly. enjoy my company and continously invite me to things just bc they want me to be there #like ik a good part of that is everyone trying to not be lonely as shit these first couple weeks but all of the friends im referring to #were part of a summer program where they got to show up like 6 weeks early and so they already have friends and ppl to hang out w #so its still rly cool that i showed up made friends w like 2 of them and now 3 weeks later im having to actively plan time to do hw and #watch my shows and stuff bc im being invited to eat and walk around and watch movies and do things all the time #shit is surreal !! im so grateful esp when my suggestions for things to do are well recieved like today alone i invited some of them #to go to the barnes and noble opening in a town near us next month + to a open house at our states observatory. and other ppl were actually #excited to learn abt those. its insane im so used to being ignored and treated like the things i care abt dont matter i love life rn omg #ppl are so cool and interesting sometimes i still feel like i am the most boring person in the room bc i never had the time money location #or motivation to explore a ton of my interests but when i tell ppl abt that feeling theyre like bitch me too !!! lets go snowboard and hike #and have observing nights and paint and dress up for halloween together and its makes me so happy. that is all #actually one more thing i was initially thinking abt dressing up as asa csm (which is. already an improvement from younger me feeling so #isolated she avoided dressing up for halloween for a decade bc she never felt close enough to go w anyone) BUT NOW im a part of a 2 month #old plan for like a dozen ppl to dress up as monster high girls AND im gonna be draculaura. literally such a slay i cant #🌸.txt
