Hey ik on that "equally distribute the horrors" post, a lot of people were talking about Mikey needing horrors (tbh he deserves some, they all need equal rights to the horrors.), but I've never seen anyone even talk about the horrors for Raph? Maybe that's just me and my web experience tho. (If you have any examples of Raph dealing with the horrors pls list them, my cousin ((who also says Mikey needs more horrors, at least)) and I are desperate)

- Raphael gets progressively demutated and basically reverts to a normal turtle for a while

(the panels of when this was happening were actually very emotive and made me cry) he does say this when he's back to normal which i find very funny tho

- Raph gets beaten the fuck up and then gets thrown trough a skylight. He's then placed in a bath tub while he heals (Leo is the one who never leaves his side on this iteration)

2003

- Nearly injures Mikey greatly with a metal tube because of anger (He feels really bad about this and i def think this moment never truly left his brain ever)

- Getting kidnapped by footbots, getting interrogated by Hun

- All the fights with shredder or karai/all the injuries gotten in all the fights with shredder or karai

- Watching his injured older brother get thrown to a window and watch said older brother heal from his wounds

- Witnesses older brother get kidnapped and blames himself for it

- Raph gets separated from his family before mutating. Spends years homeless and by himself before his brothers find him again (this forever makes raph feel that even if he's with his family. he somehow doesn't belong)

- Right after getting mutated he spent some time being cared by Buck (blind homeless guy that is the first person ever/parent figure that's nice to Raph). Watches Buck get beaten to death. (Possibly. Buck did survive but i can't remember if he did die because of his injuries. still. traumatizing to raph that was still fairly new to the world)

- Witnessed shredder stab Casey (Raph's bestie/first ever friend that he relates to)

Ok something I'm genuinely curious about. No hate or judgement in what I'm about to say, I'm just genuinely not understanding or seeing it.

Where in Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship appear codependency?

A bit TMI, but I've been in a horrifyingly toxic co-dependent relationship and I honestly don't see it (I'm not saying I'm an expert on the subject, I am speaking purely from experience and educating myself throughout the years for my own well being) All I see is two idiots who care about each other a lot but just not being able to communicate their feelings properly due to their circumstances lmao. If anything I see the complete opposite of a codependency.

When Veronica was younger, she would collect spiders, beetles, and praying mantis in jars and plastic terrariums.

She would draw them and give them names.

Heather Chandler:

Chandler and JFK are Mortal Enemies.

Chandler doesn't appreciate when Veronica pays attention to JFK instead of her when they hang out.

She will passive-aggressively sigh and drape herself across Veronica's bed.

Hello hello!! I saw your states post and was wondering if you can share with us your headcanons for New York or Texas, whichever one you feel more inclined to !! Thank you so much in advance! 😺💖💖

i'll post both since i have quite a bit on each ! so beware, this is gonna be a long post lmao

i'll go on about new york first because i have a lot on him dfghj. firstly, his human name is theodore douglass (he was given his first name by england, but chose his surname); he sometimes goes by theo, but only ever lets close friends call him teddy.

when he was a kid, theo was surprisingly shy, but very nerdy. he was a somewhat quiet child who loved to spend every waking moment reading and/or learning. england was actually kinda proud because of this, since new york could speak five languages by the time he was physically seven. he didn't really much else to do as a child, and was often left alone, so he would read and read and read.

nowadays, he's much prouder and loud, but still very, very nerdy. he can speak 31 languages fluently (outside of his indigenous languages), and is learning a further nine languages currently. he's fluent in english, spanish, cantonese, mandarin, russian, yiddish, haitian, italian, hawaiian, bengali, french, arabic, korean, hebrew, japanese, tagalog, hindi, polish, germany, greek, lithuanian, french creole, portuguese, urdu, ukrainian, swedish, norwegian, czech, finnish, danish and dutch fluently. he's reaching full fluency in afrikaans, and is currently learning slovenian, indonesian, samoan, romanian, swahili, yoruba, igbo and somali. he prides himself highly on his vast language fluency (nyc is actually one of, if not the most linguistically diverse city in the world !) and likes surprising the nations with their native language whenever he meets them. he knows more nations than any of the other states- he's actually friends with romano and lithuania ! he and romano have a mutual respect for each other, especially since new york was so eager to learn everything he could about italian culture while romano was living there, which romano appreciated.

he's also well educated outside of languages. he has a vast knowledge of art- from paintings and sculpture to dance, film, music and theater. he has a near encyclopedic knowledge on theater and plays. he has an extensive film collection of at least 25,000 films, and have an even bigger music collection- most of which he stores in his houses in nyc and manlius. he genuinely adores every field of art, and spends the majority of his time in nyc going to galleries, plays or art museums. his favorite areas of art are paintings, music and film. his favorite music genres would probably be classical, rap, r&b, hip hop and rock. he has a deep love for the rap and hip hop scene that was born out of nyc, and many of the artists that became major during the time are still his favorites.

he's also a very, very efficient worker; which is ironic, as he hates work. he's very fast and thorough in his work- if you want something done right, you go to him. not only is he good at paperwork and such, he's actually surprisingly good with his hands. he can repair cars, do home renovations, fix wiring, build furniture, make and mend clothing, hunt, fix machinery, knit, crochet and even farm. he's developed a vast number of skills over the years, and he loves learning more and more skills. he often busies himself with learning whatever new skills he can. he also often spends his time just tinkering with things for fun.

he also has a vast knowledge on fashion, and prides himself on his fashion sense. he's the most fashionable state out of all of them. he does usually dress very stylish and such, but he enjoys dressing in several different types of clothing, including punk, grunge and boho. he has quite a few walk-in closets, i'm sure, and has even made several of his outfits by hand.

he does have a bit of a superiority complex and is quite proud. he's generally pretty unphased and hard to surprise, as many nyc residents are. he's good friends with pennsylvania- they both have a love of machinery, tinkering and reading. they have occasional movie nights. he constantly argues with new jersey and massachusetts.

i also see him as being jewish, as new york state has the highest jewish population of any state.

now as for texas !

texas is very much a second alfred, minus the hero personality and plus a deep love of meat and meat-based dishes. he has a strong accent, one that he's very proud of. he's a very good cook, especially with meat-based dishes; he likes experimenting with meat and dishes in general. he's the older triplet to arizona and california, but ironically spends a lot of time fighting with california. he is, interestingly enough, quite good friends with florida- they both have loud, boisterous personalities and bond over being the 'weird' states. he's also, thanks to this, friends with ohio; the three have formed their own little club. he does typically get along well with his other state siblings (arizona, new mexico, nevada and utah). he's quite close to utah, as that's his only brother and he spent quite a bit of time with him when utah was young.

texas, in terms of personality, can absolutely be insufferable, obnoxious and loud at times; however, when he's hosting people he becomes a completely different person. he's a truly impeccable host; he'll cook several of his best dishes, extensively plan out activities and check in very regularly with his guests to ensure they're doing well and having a good time. he's insanely welcoming and hospitable, and is one of the best hosts of all the states.

he's also very similar to alfred in appearance- both in facial structure and hairstyle !! many have even remarked texas is basically a darker haired, dark skinned version of alfred.

I've been in the bsd fandom since...2018/2019 I think. I started with the anime. I remember being so early that at that time, almost all the bsd reviews were negative. I went to reddit, I think I went to my-anime-list too, and other websites and it was full of negative reviews. So I went into bsd with a rather "eh" mindset 😅 but I was bored that time and had nothing else to watch and I saw it on Netflix so yeah 👍

✅️ the scene on the balcony where ten starts struggling and jackie is listing off a bunch of things she thinks he might need is soo good, something about 'little ham sandwich' low-key kills me idk ✅️ when everything is sorted and they're all sitting down for xmas dinner and rose and ten smile at each other ??? ❌️ I don't like harriet jones that much sorry

I always like this ep more than I think I do but it's not my faaave. having the ep be minus the doctor for like half of it was certainly a choice but they pulled it off

😺 2.01 new earth

✅️ kinda obsessed with the way both dt, billie and the other guy play cassandra ✅️ cassandra's death kinda gets me.. one of the most emotional deaths of the whole era I fear

it's a great ep icl, rose and ten are a lil cringe right at the beginning, and ten's angry moments are also a bit meh but overall it's just a lot of fun

🐺 2.02 tooth and claw

✅️ ten and rose are great in this ep, I just love their vibe and how happy they are idk and I love that it backfires at the end and makes queen victoria banish them or whatever lmao ✅ the shot of the doctor and the wolf between the door/wall is very cool ❌ something about queen victoria is mildly annoying sometimes and a couple of moments make me cringe but idk it’s not enough to ruin the ep, for the most part she’s fine

I was not expecting to like this ep as much as I did. rose and ten are great, the set up for torchwood is cool, I like the werewolf, idk it’s a fun ep

✅️ rose and sarah jane's jealousy is a lil cringe early in the ep but I love when they start tryna one up each other and then make up and start laughing about/at the doctor ❌️ I don't really care about the villains of this ep like at all

it's cool having sarah jane meet ten, and there's some other good stuff in there but overall I don't think I'm obsessed with this ep quite like many others are and there's some moments in there at annoy me a bit

🕰 2.04 the girl in the fireplace

✅️ the droids are very cool, they've haunted me for most of my life at this point ❌️ I just don't fully believe in ten and reinette being in love which kinda takes away from the emotion of it all

probs the ep I have the biggest love-hate relationship with. some cool stuff in there for sure but also a mix of stuff that doesn't work for me fully/at all

✅️ some fun ten and rose moments, mainly at the party ❌️ idgaf about lumic and the way he talks is annoying

this is never an episode I look forward to in a rewatch or ever just fancy watching on its own. I always find I don't dislike it as much I expect to, there's not really anything I hate, but also not much I love which is why I don't rate it that highly

overall kinda underrated I feel, defo not a fave ep of mine but idk I was into it

✅️ some solid tenrose moments, they're probably what's best about this two parter as a whole imo ✅️ I love how passionate rose is about ood rights

for a while I didn't give a fuck about this ep but it's grown on me the last couple rewatched, cool villain even if gatiss isn't my fave dw actor, martha and ten are a great duo and tish is nice to have around too

have always thought this ep is amazing but generally overhyped by the fandom and I don't necessarily not think that now but I was far more into it than I was expecting to be. I liked sally, I'm a slag for the weeping angels. it's doctor-lite actually done well

General facts! 😺

All of this is quick. Think of it as a theology scholar in 'wizard school' asking a teenager in Toril for their quick analysis of the Dead Three in the beginning of class to get a general understanding of them. I do this so I don't fucking go absolutely wild and just ramble for hours.

Bane stands as the God of tyrannical oppression, hate, and terror. That is his current dominion. All of the Gods, in a way, are given a folio of shit they get to rule over, and that is his. Quickly put, it was Ao's way of keeping 'order' amongst the gods. Everyone gets a slice. However, if Bane had his way, he would be the God. The only one in all of Faerun. Predictable, given the name.

He was not initially a God. Like many of the current Gods of Faerun, he was once mortal and had an apotheosis by a trial of sorts. He was once a man with sheer fucking determination. So much of it that he and two others, joined by their dogged ambition, took on a goddamned God to have it-- Jergal.

Does the name 'Jergal' ring a bell? It might not. They are referenced in Baldur's Gate 3 in that ancient sea-side temple you run across in the beginning. So ancient that even your companions, given a highish religion check, will reference that they didn't believe that anyone worshiped them anymore. Ancient ancient.

Jergal is the Scribe of the Dead-- or was. Jergal grew tired of Godhood. It wore on him. So tired, in fact, that he allowed the 'Dead Three' to 'trick' him into giving up his godhood. However, shit went awry and those same three rascals had to duke it out over a fucking game of knucklebones over who got what when it came to their new dominions and they had to split Jergal's godliness amongst themselves.

Naturally, Bane won this game and was the first to choose, and his chosen folio was 'strife.' He thought 'Man, that sounds great. I could take over everything with that!'. (Dictated, not read.)

The other aforementioned two that he adventured with towards Godhood are who we know now as Bhaal and Myrkul-- the losers. They also chose dominions they thought they could exploit to become the 'ultimate' ruler.

This is part of why Bane feels fucking cheated. That entire dominion should have been his by right. This is what he feels, hence his rivalry with the others.

Bane is not content with a piece. He wants everything. That is his true nature. He earned it. He beat a goddamned God and he fucking earned it.

That same line of thinking is found in his followers. People who clawed and ripped and tore open the jaws of reality with bloody fucking fingers and wrote their name in that blood on the scroll of history. People who earned it. People who earned their strength and used that strength to exercise their will over the word and puppet it to their whims. The strong. The smart. Those worthy of the name and title they tore from the scalp of lesser kings and now wear that crown upon their own heads.

Bane is, by all accounts, an evil God, but we know how I feel about the word evil. It's banal (lmao Bane.) He has little (if any) mercy for those who are failures, including his own followers. He respects those who are clever and strong and shape the world to their whims. If you can take it, it is yours. If you cannot, you have nothing. You are a slave to those who can take you.

However, he does have rules. A code. Things he respects and things he does not and will therefore punish his followers for. Things he expects from his followers. He backs off and will watch you like a distant father, allowing you your throne that you have earned when you please him (his will exempted, you will adhere to him) and you will suffer if you do not.

He is, in my opinion, the most intelligent of the Dead Three. He knows when to forge alliances and when to enforce his will with might. Sometimes accomplishing a goal means working with others. He is not so stubborn or foolish that he will pass a chance to achieve. He will, however, do everything within his substantial power to come out on top of this bargain. He plans. He calculates. He strategizes. He chooses carefully. He is, in a way, quite patient.

He will dominate other Gods. He has killed other Gods. He has been killed himself, actually. He planned for that. He rose again, just like the others, and now lives in a state of quasi-Godhood trying to claw his way back up.

He's a nuanced guy. Banites are seen as evil, but sometimes, things are better with them in control. Instead of a bureaucratic nightmare where nothing gets done, you have a ruler who is competent because they have been deemed worthy by a fuckin' God. Sometimes, when a Banite warlord takes over a province, the province ends up safer because they have a system of power. Rather than the spoiled, complacent nobility that was running the place before, they have an active ruler that deals with bandits, keeps the roads clean, keeps resources allocated, etc. They have someone who earned the power and knows how to wield it.

However, that isn't always the case. Sometimes, they really are just power hungry bastards for the sake of being power hungry bastards. It very much highly depends. Given the choice, you probably shouldn't put a Banite into power, but that being said, they don't often give you a choice.

He is lawful evil. There are crazy atrocities carried out in his name, but he's not like Bhaal who is just edgy 'death death murder blood waaaaaaghghgghaaa' type of God, you feel?

Oh Tranquil most definitely hates the way they look. They’ve never really viewed themself as pretty or handsome or anything, but the scar only made things worse. Not to mention whenever they look into a reflection, they can’t help but see a ghost who’s been long- since dead. It’s too much to bear, sometimes, but they’re okay with being unattractive. They feel like they don’t deserve to look nice or own pretty things in general. They have their stories, and they have their friends, and they have love from a distance. Really, that’s all they could really ask for.

As for an object, as I’m sure you know they’ve procured a special item from Rumor- a old golden compact with a unicorn on the front! Even thought they don’t think they deserve nice things, they can’t help but want to be selfish just this once. It reminds them of someone they cherish deeply, and want to keep that someone close, even if it’s not physically. And the broken mirror is an added bonus. It doesn’t feel nearly as jarring to look at themself through.

Oh Fuck where to even start? I think I gotta go with watching his family die. He’s very tight-lipped about it, but everyone knows his parents and brother died during the tail end of the war- all in one sitting. Scorch was never the same after dragging the bodies of his parents back to camp, and he never talks about what happened. It haunts him to this day- nightmares of the whole affair being a common occurrence.

No actually, but I wouldn’t be surprised! He’s just got a real vibe to him that seems like he could be a background character or minor villain in the books to me. I think it’d be really cool if someone had a specific character in mind when looking at him. Scorch would be flattered and assume the cat in question must be one handsome bastard lmao

i missed like 4 classes, turned in 2 essays late, didn't turn one in at all, and rarely spoke in class,,, yet the prof gave me an A for the semester?

You can hear Baji groan from beside you as you both sit beside one another in history class. The class you both dreaded the most. You can spot a few people sleep or trying to stabilize themselves from going into sleep. The teacher just keep blabbering and blabbering about stuff that we aren’t probably gonna use later on. Telling about her family life because it some how correlates with the topic of the 1900’s.

Baji heaves a big breath and slouches in his chair trying to find a comfortable position as the seat was getting to uncomfortable for him to stay still. 2 hours in that chair? hell no. He’s at least asked to used the bathroom 3 times in the first half of the class.

30 minutes left till the school day ends and he’s just discreetly looking at phone which displays the clock. He’s trying so hard not to just run out of class but he’s trying and it all that matters.

You are just doodling on a piece of paper in your binder. The teachers words going through one ear and out the other and most likely for the rest of the kids as well.

The stomach growling from your stomach was starting to get louder and louder and by every minute you sit in that chair you start to get more uncomfortable and more hungry and it’s making it so hard for you.

Your thoughts about how you hate this class and how you felt uncomfortable was disrupted when your boyfriend just splayed his head on your shoulder groaning a little more louder in your ear.

You look at him in your peripheral and see him with his eyes closed. You admire his long eyelashes and he little soft perky nose, his cheek bones a little prominent at this time of day.

You give him forehead a little lingering kiss before going back to your doodling. Baji pouts and whines a bit at the less attention he was getting from you. He really wanted to take him mind off of this class and the teachers talking so what better way to do that then bother your very own girlfriend who he is very much happy he sits beside.

He takes his head off is your shoulder and reaches his hand to his desk to get a black sheet of paper form his notebook and rip it out, gets his pen and writes something.

he folds it up and gives it to you which you look at it and at him which he just gestures for you to take. You put your pencil down, take it and open it. there it reads,

i’m bored so talk to me

you look back at him and he just pouts right at you. You smile before picking up your pencil to write back. it only take a bit before the paper is right back to him.

he takes it without hesitation, opens it and reads it.

i’m bored too. how about you try drawing in your book or something?

he slowly looks at you with a disgusted face and you just smiled back softly at him with your eyes closed before focusing back on your work.

he rolls his eyes before writing and giving on the paper back to you. You look at it and back to him again who just switches his eyes to the paper and back to you quick, in a gesture for you to read it.

you take it up and read it, squinting your eyes before chuckling softly.

baby you know i can’t draw nor doodoo..or whatever that shits called

you have a small smile as you write back underneath his words.

giving the paper back to him he opens it and it reads,

lmao, baby it’s doodle or doodling. But just try and sit till it’s over we have like 20 or less minutes left.

he looks back at you with a small whine and a pout. You use the end of your pencil to lightly pile his bottom jutted lip. You smile at him once more before going back to drawing whatever.

20 more minutes is starting to feel like an hour. He really couldn’t take it anymore. You both continue to send messages back and forth. You made each-other feel better. Little giggles and smile shared back and forth. hand holding and arm hugging, just leaning again twist each-other made you both feel more comfortable then the whole first half of the class.

You both are now still sitting in your chairs, 10-15 minutes left in class and baji snuggles into your shoulder, taking one hand of your to his hair to make him relax and going to rub his back sometimes when you feel him tense.

He was starting to get restless. He’s getting hungry. He’s getting tired and all he wants to do is just eat and lay down with you and just binge watch whatever show till he drops fast asleep. His eyes droop at the nice thoughts and is very close to sleep

yeah that didn’t happen

you wanna know why?

because the flipping teacher decided to NOW recognize everyone is not paying attention and slams the big bulky textbook on his desk making a loud bang echo in the classroom and to everyone’s eardrums. Every kid sits up looking at the teacher with either wide eyes or closed and tired eyes.

You and Baji flinched but never moved from you position as it was too comfortable for you too move. The teacher looks at everyone in disbelief and anger as she walk to the front of the desks and looks at everyone with her arms crossed, shaking her head.

“Why aren’t you all paying attention?” her questions goes out to everyone but no one answers and i’m pretty sure that she knows why everyone is like this.

“Is no one gonna answer me?”

she questions again but it’s still the same. No one answers. Baji rolls his eyes and puts up his hand but the hand was pulled down just as fast as you hold it shaking his head no. Knowing he’s gonna get i trouble from the shit he says. Especially when he’s like this. Tired and hungry. You both look at the teacher as she says something else.

”Well since no one is gonna answer me it looks like you all are staying back in class and to re hear everything i just said…from the beginning. so there’s no going home when the bell rings.”

Everyone groans and and moves around in anguish. Some people banging their head in the desk, some holding their head and shaking it in annoyance and in a way where they can feel a headache being formed. And other looked like their souls are just floating to the gates of heaven.

While you just slouch in your chair, tilting you head back and baji just..he just started at the teacher in so much shock but with no emotion at the same time if that makes sense.

He is done.

Completely done.

He gets up with a grunt and feels little tugs at the back of his shirt the back and looks back to see you looking at at him with a confused face. He smirks before holding your hand, giving it a squeeze and turning back towards the teacher.

“Excuse me? Miss?”

The teacher looks straight at baji but she flinched by the way he’s looking at her with just so much dread and slight hatred.

“Y-yes Baji? what would you like to say?”

You chuckles darkly before speaking again, calming down a little bit as he feels you give small gives to the back of his hand.

“i am not staying her over time for this class. Like i literally cannot stay in here. i am very tired, very hungry and very very not want to stay here any longer.”

The teachers opens her eyes in shock at his bluntness of words by do you think she’s backing down? nope.

“Well that’s too bad because you will stay in here until i say so-“

“Are you my mother? no. Are you my girlfriend. No. Therefore you have no right to tell me that i’m staying here because YOU said so. You think i’m that crazy?”

Everyone else in the class just looks at baji with scared eyes. Not because of the him getting in trouble but because his words are just intimidating alone. You just sit there, still drawing with your other unoccupied hand and just trying to contain a your smile as you know he’s not gonna stop will he steps his ass out this class with you.

“Don’t interrupt and i can say what wet to you because i am older and i am your teacher. Do you really wanna get detention?”

“Do you really wanna cheat in your husband?”

Everyone in the class just gasped. Their mouths are just gone from the mouth. Light giggles filled the air and even the teacher mouth is wide open at what he said.

You look at him in so much shock as you try to figure i out where he got that information from. As if the teacher was reading you thoughts,

“W-where did you get that information from?”

“Oh you wanna know? like do you really wanna know?”

the teacher nods a little too fast, not even caring if the whole class know but just wants him to not say anything to anyone else.

Baji nods at seeing her response. He hums and just hum while still nodding at the same time, getting his back and tugging your arms to make you stand up and get your bag as well.

He walks towards the back of the class which has another exiting out the class and takes his other hand out his pocket to open the door but pauses to look over his shoulder to the teacher who’s still frozen in place.

“How about you ask the principal..he seems to know a lot huh?”

Everyone else just break out into loud laugh and giggles as the teacher looks pale as snow. Baji holds your hand tightly as he makes a run for it out of class with you behind his laughing with a big smile. Just as you both left the class was the second the bell rang to the end of the day.

“How did you know all of that?”

Baji hears you say behind him as you both continue to run through the hallways to get out the school.

“You see how the boys washroom is right beside the storage room?”

You nod in recognition but open your mouth in shock at what you realized the the situation. He laughs at your face and you both now just walk beside each-other on the way to his house ready to just relax.ml

“You love getting in trouble don’t you?”

“If it’s with you and for you? i don’t mind. Now come here!”

You yelp in the surprise when he suddenly carries you bridal style and you both laugh at the position you both are in. You wrap your arms around his neck looking at him form his side. And he just hold you on your legs and back, making sure you don’t fall.

“Next time just try to pay attention?”

“…baby, who do you think i am?”

“Keisuke muthafucking baji”

“That’s my girl!”
