i do!!!!!!!!! i have somehow already got another longfic planned that i am itching to start writing because despite being a slow writer apparently writing two back to back wasn't enough for me!!!!!!!

it's gonna be (drum roll):

modern magical AU

remus and dorcas POV

wolfstar and dorlene, strangers/enemies to lovers

voldemort is the evil big bad as usual, with the death eaters and horcruxes and whatever etc etc

but the marauders era is actually the second wizarding war, not the first like in canon

after the first wizarding war and voldemort was defeated (not by harry obvs. he's not in this. no kids. fuck them kids) the order became the ministry's secret service kinda. like their elite fight squad or whatever? so the order is a known organisation but its members are still anonymous

picture sirius and james in sexy SWAT outfits with mysterious masks or whatever. i'm talking TIGHT AS HELL trousers. hella cheeked up

so the order are the ministry's elite fight peeps or whatever and then there's voldemort and the death eaters obvs but there's ALSO this vigilante group which is run by REDACTED, who dorcas and remus work for. it's this anonymous group and no one - not the order or the ministry or the death eaters - can tell who they are, who runs it, what their mission is, and whose side they're on etc

remus and dorcas are both orphaned werewolves and didn't go to hogwarts

obviously reggie is there!!!!!!!!!! he's remus's bestie OBVIOUSLY!!!! regus for life!!!!!!!!

I agree with my dream, out of the original trio, Emma would definitely be the worst equipped to handle becoming an unwilling time traveler. She actually knows / cares about the butterfly effect and would be stressing about that at all times. Cleo and Rikki would just go "Well who cares if I change things I'm doing what I want".

The dream didn't explain how it happened, but Emma was sent back in time to like, two or three weeks before they all became mermaids, and she was in her old body so she wasn't a mermaid yet. And she had to deal with the fact that neither Cleo nor Rikki remember being mermaids and was freaking out about doing anything at all because there was no telling what it would do to the future if she changed even the smallest thing.

What if she ate a peanut butter sandwhich for lunch and that meant they ran out of peanut butter faster and her dad got into a car accident while going to the store to get more?

(Does Emma even eat peanut butter? IDK)

And then of course she had to figure out how to get Cleo and Rikki to come with her to the Moon Pool again on the full moon, but this time on purpose. But she also didn't want to just let Cleo be bulled by Zane, and she was just having a horrible time because Rikki doesn't even know her and was Highly Suspicious and Creeped Out when Emma suddenly started talking to her and trying to be her friend out of the blue. Cleo was also weirded out by this.

So yeah Emma was just not having fun at all.

Lewis was nowhere to be seen, for the record.

It ended up being the day before the full moon and Emma was desperately trying to hide how desperate she was to get them both to go to Mako Island with her and it was not going well at all.

Cleo didn't get on the boat willingly in the original timeline, and there's no way she'd agree to go all the way to Mako Island of her own free will, probably even if Lewis were the one piloting(??) the boat.

And Rikki was just like,,,,not at all happy with the situation because Emma's just this random rich chick who keeps being Overly Friendly and Familiar and she is just weirded out as hell. At this point in the timeline she was half convinced Emma was a stalker or something who wanted to bring her to Mako Island to kill her.

So yeah. RIP to Emma.

I went with Gholdengo and Cufant for Kalim, and Seviper and Malamar for Jamil! I went back and forth a looooot on whether to give Malamar to Jamil or Azul, but ultimately I think it just fits Jamil better. (Seviper was a given though)

The creature is wearing some kind of black and white jumpsuit underneath a safety vest. It also has a hard hat on its head and is holding a pen and clipboard.

Any blades that his assassins have used just move right through the creature. Though the creature has not shown any hostility so far, mainly looking around with curiosity, it still—
