finally watched infinity war - a movie with such a budget and ~claim to grandeur should ellicit some kind of emotional response, even if heavily spoiled before first watching it... but nah

#none of the losses felt like anything #there was so much potential with so many great characters #great actors and actresses #and there was so much potential there #i loathe to call for even more mcu content #but the story they were attempting felt more suited to a series instead of a movie #i had some serious got season 8 whiplash from the whole meh-ness of all those losses #my biggest emotion was disgust towards thanos bc of the whole edgy philosophical thought experiment #if you know what i mean #also there were so many... convenient bad character choices #that felt more like lazy writing most of the time #idk #i didnt hate it #still #mcu #infinity war #op
