The one where having a secret lab in the basement is not as much of a red flag as it should be.

Because somehow, EVERY. SINGLE. ADULT. IN ALL OF AMITY. Have “secret” basements.

Sure, MOST of them have refitted them to act as emergency bunkers in case there’s another large-scale ghost attack, with rations and shields and blankets and all that, BUT. Even BEFORE the portal opened up, they were there.

Some of them were laboratories dedicated to one of many sciences. Some of them were just storage for the more concerning family heirlooms. At least one person kept the taxidermied bodies of each and every pet they had over their lifetime. Really, it was more odd for someone to not have some weird secret in their basement.

So when Danny ran from Amity and learned just how many people didn’t have strange, niche basements for their hobbies, he was a little put off. When he was eventually asked to stay with the Wayne family in Gotham, well, maybe he could have phrased it better.

How was he supposed to know that asking if they had a “super-secret basement either for your job, your personal life, or disaster prevention” would lead to them thinking he knew about their nightlife?

So basically ATLA brain rot has hit me like a truck

#atla #avatar the last airbender #zuko #toph beifong #what happened was I was forced to watch the live action #which is actually pretty good if you get past the first few episodes #and if you don’t have someone in your ear telling you it’s awful the whole time #first episode is definitely the weakest and that’s 50% gran gran’s fault #aang and katara are also pretty flat but whatever #sokka’s good and zuko’s fantastic actually #they did goof on a few things but overall I think it’s a fun time #just don’t expect it to be as good as the cartoon and you’ll be okay #ANYWAY it got me missing toph #so i rewatched the blind bandit episode #and then wound up watching the entirety of books 2 & 3 in a few days #and now I’m brain rotted #which is especially weird considering when I first watched it I was like #yeah that was good! and then never thought about it again #i dunno what changed but i need help it’s taking over my life #wanted to draw Sokka too but he looks hard to draw #and i had enough trouble with these two #maybe someday #sorry for rambling in the tags goodbye

I one hundred percent believe that Crowley is the one that gave aziraphale all those fire extinguishers, I think azi thought it was a great idea but I’m certain it was Crowley’s idea.

I mean the poor guy walked into a burning bookshop to save his best friend (boyfriend) and thought he had died and it hurt him so he went and got drunk to deal with it.

Crowley realizes just how flammable books are (because while they knew that they never thought it would actually burn down) and subtly demands that azi gets fire extinguishers.

Am I the only one that thinks Klaus being a germaphobe in s4 wouldn’t make any sense?? are we talking about the same Klaus? The same Klaus that practically had to be dragged out of the Void in s3? Who was perfectly content to stay there for the rest of eternity? and the only reason he decided to come back to the living was bc Luther convinced him to help the family, not bc he himself wanted to live?? The same Klaus, who when greeted with “we thought you died”, responded with “if only”???

Like I get how death would seem more ominous now that he’s mortal, but he literally just found out he was immortal. He’s lived his entire life before Hotel Oblivion believing he was mortal, and even knowing that he could die, he acted with no regard for his own life. Hell, he welcomed death with open arms on multiple occasions. I don’t see why that would suddenly change, especially now that he has a better understanding of the Void (and could potentially find Dave or umbrella Ben there).

If anything, I feel like he would be more inclined to go the Void considering he finally got a grasp on the powers he’s feared his entire life, only to get them taken away. He finally found a bit of purpose, a way to be useful to the family that constantly pushed him aside, and now…

Some of the marauders fandom makes me exhausted, you guys do know that the marauders were assholes right? The Snape thing wasn’t James and Sirius being sweet baby boys trying to protect themselves, it was a back and forth of bullying, they were rivals, Snape wasn’t just an evil greasy little man, and James wasn’t a sweet innocent can do no wrong little baby. It was a RIVALRY.

Let James Potter have flaws Jesus Christ. On that note, let Snape have SOME type of character BESIDES being bad. If your only take away from Snape and Lily’s relationship was that it was bad for Lily and that Lily was an idiot for not being able to see Snape’s red flags, you’re objectively incorrect.

This can also be said vice versa for Snape stans. James Potter was not an evil bully, he was a popular asshole, like MOST teenage boys are, however he grew and was objectively a good person.

To add commenting “Stan Bambi” on a positive Snape post does not make you cool or funny, it makes you mildly annoying at best, however commenting “James Potter was a bully” on a positive James post, makes you a mild annoyance at best as well.

Literally just let people like characters, this goes for both Snape fans AND Marauders fans.
