A/N: It took me so long to do this, but I hope you all enjoy it :’)

This is more like a future chapter than an actually continuations of last chapter because I felt like writing something cute.

The fireplace was lighting the room brightly, the night sky outside a dark contrast against the burning flames. The white snow falling in soft heaps glistening each time a fleck caught the light just right.

The blanks underneath you were comfortably soft, making the hard floor next to the window seem like a little peace of heaven while you snuggled deeper into their arms. Bucky was at your back, his flesh arm underneath your head while his vibranium one was keeping its cold distance from your feverish skin. 

Steve was in front og you. Laying on his back, head turned to look at you, a soft small gracing his features while he watched you looking at the falling snowflakes adoringly.

“You want to be there, running in the snow, dont you?” he asked, hand coming up to stroke your arm that was draped over his chest. 

“I love both of you so much. But I miss the familiarity my wolf form brings me.” you tone was one of fondness, nostalgic. “But I will love bringing these pups out in the world so much more, that I can wait a few more months before turning back.” your entire faced lighted up when you felt the twins kick your stomach, grabbing Steve’s and to feel your bump.

Since the events of the past year, the three of you had grown so much closer. And were now starting your own family. They had left SHIELD and the Avengers, and had got this little house in the miggle of the mountains surrounded by woods. They had restored the house, made it a little corner of heaven on earth and had enjoyed seeing you running in your wolf form around the forest, the joy it brought you to know you were safe fro hunters and had a place to call home. 

Someone to call home.

It came a bit as a surprise, but you could smell it in your hormones. Something was different in you. So when the pregnancy test had came back positive youd been scared of what they might respond to. 

But both Steve and Bucky had been the most supportive partners you could have asked for. They had done everything to make you feel comfortable, and a few weeks abo they had started baby proofing the house, despite the fact the pups would still take at least a good few months before actually starting to explore their surroundings.

They even tried to accommodate for your pregnant demands when you said you needed to start making a nest, so they brought the fluffiest blankets they could find and started making your nest, with the best view in the house. A floor to ceiling window showing the far mountains and the forest surrounding the house. Some nights you could even see the northern lights up in the sky, making the place even more magical.

Unfortunately the further down the pregnancy the greater the risk of shifting to your form often, so youd have to stay human until the little ones were born. It didn’t felt natural to you. All your family members were born while wolfs, only discovering their human side later on when they were older. Your wolf side was screaming at you to turn. 

 To have the pups in wolf form so they could learn to fend for themselves. But that would mean leaving Bucky and Steve with a few hungry wolfs to take care of. And despite them being your mates, your wolf instincts was still to protect the pups from any treats. So you were refraining from turning, and quite literally biting off their hand because they were too close to the pups. In your human form the most you could do was scream at them. 

But despite the none existing treats inside the house, both Bucky an Steve were proving exceptional mates. And despite their very human nature, they were behaving just like a wolf mate would. Doting on her, bringing her food and more blankets for her nest, and just hovering over her to give her love and affection. She even caught them once eyeing the wolfs that were using their garden as a path to cross across the mountains with a mistrusting gaze, only relaxing once the last wolf was out of sight.

There was still a few more weeks for the pups to be born, but you knew deep down you couldnt have asked for better mates. They would be great fathers, and your cosy little family would grow just a bit more.

Hi, this is probably a very late response, not much of a question. I have stumbled upon your account and read through the whole "drifting away from Lucemond pairing" thing.

That's honestly very relatable. I used to like them a lot at the beginning, read through almost every fanfic, even yours too (they are great & you are one of the greatest Lucemond fanfic writers out there).

Honestly, it's kinda difficult for me to find out why it has become so hard to like the pairing (at least for me) because in the beginning, it was just so great, y'know, like magic. The Golden Era is probably in the beginning.

But you formulated so well, especially about the fandom discourse thing. I started falling off around the time one of the Lucemond fanfic I followed ended.

Afterwards, it's just constantly trying to catch up then failing. The last straw is probably when the discourse/drama about bottom/feminine/omega Luke being anti-tr4ns (which I don't get), and people start being a puritan about their preferred Lucemond Dynamics (top/bottom thing). It's all so silly, like they are the same ship with only slightly different dynamics, why bother hating on other people who doesn't have the same preference as theirs when they can just not interact.

The oversaturation & internal shipwars become tiring real fast. Even if a lot of content is supposed to be a good thing, for some reason it becomes one of the factors.

One of the silliest things I have ever come across on reading fic under that ship tag is when upon reading a supposedly "good fic" (that one of the readers start cross promoting it under other people's fic), the author opens the story by going on a rant how they don't like ABO, while writing & integrating ABO into their fic & making it a central theme. The author also calls ABO trope problematic (why do they even write a fanfic about it when they don't like the trope and call it "gross" then?)

When some people call the author out on it, they just go on this long paragraphic arguments in the comment section. It ends up being entertaining, but somehow tiring, too. I end up clicking out after reading the war in the comments.

You probably have read it. It's popular despite the author starting their fic with that hate note to the ABO trope.

Anyway, I just want to say I fully agree with you that some people are so toxic that their discourse ended up making others uncomfortable despite it being such a good pairing. Thank you for clearing it up. Now, I have a guess why I ended up falling off the pairing.

Also, I want to ask, do you think content oversaturation contributes to people leaving a ship ? Because I am on the fence about this too, on one side, contents keep a fandom alive, but on the other, it makes me dislike a ship despite liking it beforehand (could be because of other reasons, I just haven't discover it I guess).

I want to ask you a lot more, your opinions are really interesting. Thank you for engaging in QnA (ignore those people who are just trying to argue with you by submitting anon, I read them, and they come across as somewhat trying to rile you up).

It's fine if you don't answer this, I just want to send it because I do like going through your account, reading your responses, and see the discussion why & how you don't follow this certain pairing anymore (it is rarely discussed, so discovering your answers are interesting).

No excuse, I have just been exceptionally lazy over the past few months and I cannot promise that this won't happen again however I am trying to avoid doing my real life job so here I am. Also your English is perfect so dont worry. It is better than mine and it is my first language 👍. I have a feeling that for as long as your ask was, my answer will be equally as long.

I am with you re. the internal ship wars. Let people read what they want to read and write what they want to write and it's all golden. I cannot stand people who try to dictate and police what others do be it in fan art, in a fic or, on a few memorable occasions, what people post on the Lucemond tumblr hash-tag.

Ahh yeah I do vaguely remember coming across an abo fic where the author was open on how they thought the trope was problematic which I found quite funny but it is a trope that is extremely popular in the fandom and, at the time, I thought that it wasn't that surprising that authors who haven't previously written the trope would expand into it, especially when hits/kudos began to dwindle across the whole fandom. However I mind reading an ask answer on here ages ago about how popular abo is in Lucemond and a really good point made was that abo is just a really good way of removing obstacles you have plot wise when you have a same sex ship, especially in a universe such as HoTD and GoT where canon is so detailed and lore heavy. That may be why writers who don't agree with the underlying tropes still utilise abo as it means you are not having to spend chapter or chaper trying to untangle a way to make the story work in a canon setting.  I do think there is a way to do abo without the problematic aspect some people have with it but I suppose its all down to how much of the trope you take issue with. It's something I have done in the past (both use it as a easy plot device and remove the aspects of the trope that I dont particularly jive with as a reader) and will probably do more of going forward.

In terms of oversaturation and people leaving the ship I dont think it was/is an issue with Lucemond as such. I just think Lucemond was always a ship which, with the benefit of hindsight, was destined for a relatively short shelf-life just by its very nature - at the end of the day the ship involves one person who is canonically dead in a show that is only on its first season with some very popular characters who are either still to make their debut or ones who will take more of a center stage in the following seasons. From being in a number of fandoms the truly popular ships which are able to continue to retain the levels of fan interaction that they had at the beginning were able to do so because the two characters in a ship continously interacted in a show/film (even if it is only a few scenes every now and then) which galvanised shippers to create more content. Lucemond simply doesn't have that as one character is dragon food. The discourse, IMO, just hastened the rate in which people left.

I think the downside to how quickly the ship exploded did contribute to is making people stuck in their ways somewhat. People have their preferences on what they want Aemond and Luke to act like and who they are and it makes it difficult for creators who want to go out of the box to get a foothold - the result of that is that they just go to different fandoms where they don't get shit for having one character bottom and the other topping or get thousands of notifications because yet another argument has broken out in a comments section but things will likely pick up once the new season hits.

Bridge the Gap (UshiIwaOi) will always be special to me. I pour my entire heart and soul into that. It's not as popular as all my other Haikyuu fics (because of the pairing lol) but I really do think its my best work.

A Human Invention (RusAme) is also special to me. It's my most ambitious work imo, because each update required SO MUCH RESEARCH. And I just really loved being able to play with heavy themes and philosophize on the nature of existence. If only I could just write the last god damn chapter

Okay so Wednesdays is my least favorite day of the week so I always make sure to check your blog each Wednesday to give myself a reason to stay alive (basically i know open Tumblr every Wednesday to check your blog and that's it) and today I spiraled down the royal abo tag and omega Carlos ABSOLUTE GENIUS I love unconventional Omegas and then I remembered this fic or idea I once read of an alpha who wishes he were an Omega so like he is an alpha but he has the mindset of an omega and he wants a mate to love and protect him and he wants to be a momma and I have no idea what au this fits under and also this the first time I feel confident enough writing someone a message on Tumblr and it's completely fine if you don't reply

anyways so like alpha Carlos who is dying to be someone's omega and to be a momma works in a daycare maybe even though it's very uncommon for alphas to work in daycares but the pups love him and he is very close to this small pup (maybe lando or charles) who is only two or three and one day the dad (Michael because I'm weak for them) is super late for pick up but the pup doesn't mind because yay he gets to hang out with his favorite teacher Carlos and Michael shows up all disgruntled and tired and like sorry i have been trying to manage my company while also fighting off my ex wife who is after my money and carlos is looking respectively 👀 because he had only ever seen the pup's mom at pickup and he didn't like her very much because she wasn't at all maternal or caring towards the pup (he doesn't like her because he doesn't appreciate anyone mistreating small children but also because she treats what he would kill to have so carelessly especially since he is more attached to the Italiano pup than any other pup he takes care of) and idk where to go with that but it definitely ends with the pup or even pups (twins lando and charles) calling Carlos momma and Michael being completely in love with him.

Carlos is surprised becayse he has never met Lando's dad before, and Lando seems much happier to see his dad than he ever did seeing his mother. Carlos looking up and seeing this gorgeous broad Alpha and he just blushes cos Michael is gorgeous and just his type sfksf. And Michael thanks him so so much!

The two getting closer because Michael finally got full custody over little Lando! So he comes to drop offs and pick ups all the time and Michael makes a point of making some small talk with the shy Spanish Alpha teacher that Lando adores so mucchhhh. And plss Lando inviting Carlos over for dinner and Carlos softly tells him that his papa wouldnt like it but Michael blurts out he would like it very much! I tried so many times to look for Aizawa critical fics (bc I was salty about his canon behavior and wanted some catharsis for stuff like the quirk test) and there was barely anything :( I don't mind dadzawa on principle, but it sneaks its way into most fics so I wanted some sort of palate cleanser, and yet basically nothing. So now I'm just avoiding dadzawa fics even tho they're the majority bc I'm tired of seeing them everywhere with no dissenting voices. Do you maybe know any even mildly aizawa critical fics? At this point I'll take almost anything lol

Unfortunately there are not a lot of aizawa critical fics without leading into straight up bashing 😔 or adult bashing in general, but I managed to find a few that are critical of him and his actions without being too bashy (unless thats the flavor you're looking for)

In this one, Aizawa gets called out by a former student of his, lovingly but critically gets called out by Midnight, and realizes he should really do better by his students. A fic thats pretty nice but still critical to him

This one's more bashy/critical of Aizawa than the others but basically Midoriya calls Aizawa out in front of all of 1-A for his past behavior. With special guest star Bubble Girl explaining the difference between a good and bad teacher!

(Cw for attempted sexual harassment here) Yes, this is ABO and ABO fics have a certain reputation. However, this fic goes into how Aizawa usually takes things into face value and rarely tries to see the bigger picture until he actually tries, and how he hasn't addressed Mineta's pervertness. And it also shows him correcting those mistakes. We like growth here ppl!

An erasermight fic this time and a stardew valley au, but u don't need to know abt the universe to enjoy this fic. Not completed but it is being worked on. Doesn't take place in the bnha universe so no criticizing Aizawas bnha actions here. What I like about this fic (and some of Aeolian's other EM fics) is that Yagi calls out Aizawa for his actions (especially how Aizawa treats Yagi) while still being kind to him, which is a good but very rare flavor. Minor dadzawa here though, but its not that big so far. Like, very minor

EDIT: I also want to add on that its kind of hard to find critical aizawa fics that dont directly lead into bashing bc 1. That stuff isnt tagged well and 2. Its hard (for me at least) to discern between criticizing and bashing, especially for such a fanonized character like aizawa. Not to mention there aren't a lot of critical or bashing fics out there for him, and that makes it even harder to discern the difference between them. What I define as critical fics is someone taking aside aizawa and saying "what youre doing is pretty messed up but it isnt entirely your fault and you can be better". Bashing fics are more like "you suck and I hate you for xyz and I hope you die in a fire"

The boys are both alphas and your an omega.

They met each other in High School, at UA to be on point.

Hizashi acts more of a social alpha but than a omega dominant. Meaning, from how social he is in situations he absolutely comes off as a alpha, but he isn’t a dominant person.

Shota acts more of a social omega but a alpha dominant. Meaning, he is shy which sometimes leads people to think he is an omega but he very dominant and usually overpowers his opponents.

He grabbed by your shoulders and spun you around.

“Why won’t you go on one date with me, Y/N.”

Panic started to erupt through out your body. You couldn’t help but chirped and shut your eyes.

“What? You think I’m threatening or something?”

“Leave the Omega alone, Sensoji.”

You opened your eyes and saw Shota standing off to the side of you two with Hizashi.

God you felt small and weak.

Sensoji let go of you and walked over to the two. You rebalanced yourself and watched as the two exchanged some words that you couldn’t hear.

Sensoji huffed and walked off, without looking at you.

Hizashi walked over to you. “You okay, Omega L/N? You looked rather scared there. Did he hurt you anywhere?”

As Hizashi was trying to calm you down you noticed Shota glaring Sensoji as he walked out of the gates.

“I- I am okay now, thank you Alpha Yamada.” You bowed your head. You looked over at Shota, getting attention as well. “T-Thank you Alpha Aizawa as well.” You bowed your head to him.

Shota blink at you. “How do you know my name?”

You stiffened. “I- Um, I noticed you both at the sports festival.”

The two grew quite. That didn’t really explain how you knew their names but it did mean they had caught your attention way before you caught theirs.

Aizawa has also been coming into school early and had been noticing your bitter scent every morning. By when school started you had a normal scent. He didn’t know how to approach you but he wanted to protect you.

He knows Sensoji isn’t the person causing you bitter scent in the morning so it had to come from home.

Everything was scented by him and Hizashi, which made your heart fly.

You slowly started sharing food with them, and started opening up about your love life.

It took one after school time in the booth you started to think over your relationship with the two.

Once you realised that you may have been courting the couple you went into a panic.

You scent shift woke Shota up real fast.

“What’s wrong, Omega?” He asked.

“I- Mmmmmmmmm.” You thought it over. “I think I’m going to leave early today.” You said as you started getting up.

Aizawa started getting up as well. “Are you sure? I’ll walke down with you-“

“No no I’m fine. Just, got some stuff I need to do.”

He stood still as you gathered you things. “... I see... Bye then.”

“Bye, Alpha.”

You left in a hurry, leaving Shota’s Alpha whining. He got his phone.

“Hizashi, can we talk about Y/N?”

You didn’t talk to the two for a week. You let your parents yell and command you around from as early as you could leave school and as late it was okay for you to be. Though by the 3rd day you silbings started noticing something was off and somehow convinced you parents to lay off.

Hizashi and Shota kept texting you and you just ignored them.

Though it got a bit too much, and at lunch you started to head down to the room.

When you opened the door, Hizashi jumped you.

“Oh Omega we have been so worried! Did they hurt you? Did they take away your phone? Why have they been keeping you at that home for so long?”

You were shocked to smell the room was just filled with their worried scents.

“We were really close to just walking to your house and getting you out ourselves!”

That sent you worrying.

You sent out a calming scent out to calm them down. “Shh, it’s okay. I’m fine, I’m safe. I just, had a lot of homework that I was pushing off and I couldn’t do it here. They leave me alone if I can prove I’m doing homework.”

Hizashi wrapped his arms around you and resting his head into you neck glands. You tried not to stiffen by still sending out you scent and rubbing his head.

“I’m okay Alpha. I promise.”

Shota started at you from across the room.

“Alpha are you-“

Shota shot over, wrapping his arms around and drove his head in your other neck glands.

Your face flushed. “I-I’m sorry for worrying you two.”

The two started to purr from just smelling your scent, and started scenting you in return, causing your cheeks to burn from the blood rush.

“I- Mmmmmmm.” The two held you so close. You felt so loved and wanted. You wanted them to be your Alphas, and it felt like they were. You couldn’t push this off any longer. “I- Alphas? I- A-Are we courting?”

Shota stiffened but pushed his head more into your glands. Hizashi on the other hand kissed your glands, making your head to feel hot.

“Yeah, I think we are, Omega. Is that okay?”

Shota wasn’t going to say anything until you responded. He needed you to respond.

“Yes! Yes that is okay.” You brought them closer and shyly smiled. “It’s more than okay.”

Shota smiled, then licking your glands.

You chirped which caused him to chuckle.

“Our little omega.”

After that, you three were very open about your relationship. People were rather shocked that the “two omegas in a alpha trench coat” have a shared Omega.

Group couples were rare but not really frowned upon.

When you came home smiling in a daze and smelling like the two alphas who brought you home, the was stone quite.

If you had mates then your parents couldn’t control you(in their eyes). It closed some issues and opened a couple of others up.

However, it mostly meant that by the time you finished school, you happily moved in with your alphas.
