but then he heard you talking as he passed by the window of your cabin and couldn't help but stand nearby

his smile was a mile wide as he heard you talk so passionately about him

that's right, you've been yapping away about leo for at least an hour

"and you should see the way he looks at me when he makes me laugh. it's just- it's just this wide smile and he can't seem to take his eyes off me."

his water bottle had long since been emptied but he was far too tired to get up and refill it

after a few minutes of rest, he'd finally decided the water would be worth the pain of his taunt muscles

as he made his way to the water fountain, he paused as his eyes caught sight of you and a wood nymph talking

he smirked to himself, moving closer with the full intentions of stealing a kiss but he paused as your words started to reach his ears

he then hid behind a tree, only peeking out every now and then when he knew you weren't looking

"gods, i've never met a guy so romantic. did i tell you that he stole all of my favorite bags of chips from the camp store? and you wanna know why? mind you, this is a direct quote, he said 'because no one but my girl deserves this chips to grace her lips.' like...bro."

the wood nymph cooed, the flowers in her hair brightening in color at the romantic thoughts

in fact, the red tulips were matching the shade of luke's cheeks pretty well

and that's quite the feat as the boy wasn't a big blusher

"and watching him train will always leave me drooling. you hear that olivia rodrigo leaked song, prison for life?? like, that's literally him!! he's so protective but in a good way, ya know??"

luke shook his head despite knowing the fact you couldn't see him

you've brought that song up so many times since you heard it, telling luke that it always reminded you of him

and luke would never admit it, but he listened to the song on his own time

and he couldn't help but agree with you

he'd kill for you and you didn't even need to ask him to

he'd just do it because you were worth any consequence he'd face after

"so, you love him?" the wood nymph questioned eagerly

and luke was just as eager to hear the answer

but, when the shark swam up to him with naiads in tow, percy couldn't help but listen

"lord! lord! you'll never believe what we just heard!" the shark cried, swimming circles around percy in his excitement

"go on," percy encouraged, briefly passing his hand over the shark's fin before the shark was mentally gasping in a big breath to do a long ramble

"okay okay okay! so, your lady in waiting had been talking with a few of the river naiads up stream. and she was talking about you, my lord!"

percy was silently waiting for the new information to come

he was well aware of the fact that you struggled to have conversations that didn't revolve around him

Meeting All of Def Leppard in Sheffield!!!!

Yes, really! and no this wasn't part of a meet and greet or anything, I just happened to be incredibly blessed that weekend🥰 so sit back, relax, get your snacks, and lemme give you a comprehensive timeline of how I met the guys!

So you guys all know my interaction with Sav at the album signing, if not read about it here, but that was my only interaction with Sav. 

other than that, my friends happened to be staying at the same hotel that the Leppards and their crew were! 

the only one of the Leppard crew who wasn't staying there was Sav, because he was staying at his house (he lives in Sheffield so ig it makes sense) but yeah that was why we didn't see him at all after the signing.

also the man is illusive af so even if he was staying at the hotel we prob wouldn't have seen much of him😅

Right, now time for the others!

The next Leppard I met (and I still genuinely cannot believe this) was Joe!

We got back to the hotel after the concert and he was just… there? In the lobby/restaurant area? WHAT?

I will admit that I did feel a little bad going up to him as he seemed like he just wanted to hang out with his friends who were all there, but at this point I didn’t know that they were staying at the hotel so I didn’t know if I’d ever get this opportunity again.

He was sO NICE and sO TIPSY LMAO

We didn’t say much to each other apart from the usual “the show was amazing!” And “Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it” kinda routine bUT STILL I WAS TALKING TO JOSEPH ELLIOTT HIMSELF ANYTHING WAS MORE THAN AMAZING 

he is also vERY tall in person

Like I knew he was like 6′3 or something like that but my short ass just did not expect him to be that tall for some reason

But yeah that was that

Another fun thing was that we stayed in the lobby for a little while and we could just hEAR him laughing and talking 

Something I learned about Joe Elliott on this trip is that tHE MAN IS LOUD WHEN TIPSY

Just as we were about to retire for the night, in walks The Thundergod himself, Mr Rick Allen!

Of course we got a picture with him and he was very intent on taking it himself in selfie mode LMAO

(my friends were in this too but I decided to crop them out bc I wasn't sure if they wanted to be on Tumblr or not)

HE IS SO LOVELY AAAAAAA

Cut to the next day, I meet my friends in Starbucks, and we weren’t in there more than 10 mins, and Rick walks in! 

My friend apparently had always wanted to buy him coffee, so the went up and paid for his order aWWW

he then proceeded to come and sit at our table and we just... talked?

as if we were old friends?

WHAT?

HE IS SO NICE AND SO CHARMING AND SO FUNNY I JUST AWWW

we ended up running into him a lot that day and the next, and he genuinely seemed happy to see us!

at one point he said “greetings earthlings” to us and did the Star Trek salute

long story short for about 48 hours we became best friends with Rick Allen and I miss him every day

Next up: Phil

our first interaction was very generic (well as generic as you can get when you're literally meeting one of your favourite people on the entire planet)

we ran into him in the lobby of the hotel and we talked about the concert for a bit

he said he was super excited for the rest of the tour AWW

we saw him a couple of other times  that day but other than a “hello” and a smile  we didn't bother him at all

we would have done the same whenever we saw Rick but I cannot stress enough that HE was the one coming up to US when ever he saw us

later that day we also saw Joe again but we didn't go up to him as he was with Jess and Mike and seemed busy ( he was honestly probably going out to film something👀)

Ok this next part might be a lil sad

But we also went to visit Steve🥺

I didn’t expect to cry, but as soon as the three of us laid eyes on his gravestone we just all broke down into tears.

There was a lot of lil bits of memorabilia there that looked like they had been there for a long time, mostly guitar picks and lil notes.

But the part that got us? There was a picture of him and Phil there which you can just about see in the first photo

Not me crying again rn

But we have him some flowers (which we all wrote a note on) and I also gave him a guitar pick. 

I’d actually found this guitar pick on the floor in Brighton a few weeks ago, and it was from a music touring company. I’d completely forgotten I’d left it in my bag, but I think it was absolutely a sign when I found it on the floor.

Everything felt so heartbreakingly perfect 

We got to share this little moment with him💜

Ok sad stuff over 

Cut to the next day, we’re back at Starbucks again getting breakfast. surely nothing else out of the ordinary could happen, right?

well that was proven wrong when VIVIAN CAMPBELL WALKED IN HKSFBKFJS

seriously we weren’t even planning to stay in there wE WERE IN THERE FOR LIKE FIVE MINUTES TO GET BREAKFAST AND THEN GO

anyways I got to give him one of my art prints 

I actually forgot to say I gave one to Rick as well as Sav

well I gave one to Scott (sav’s son who I saw at the OAC pop up) and he said he would give it to Sav AWW

the only one I didn't give a print to was Joe and im sO MAD bc I made a bunch of Joe prints to give out to the fans at the concert and over the weekend bUT I FORGOT TO SAVE ONE FOR THE MAN HIMSELF AAAAAH IM SORRY JOE

I can just imagine all the guys showing each other their prints and Joe being like 🥺why didn't I get one?

I WILL GET A PRINT TO JOE IF IT KILLS ME DW THIS IS NOW MY MISSION 

ANYWAYS Viv was super cool but super shy aww so it didn't seem right to ask him for a picture

[EDIT] idk how I forgot this part but Viv actually recognised me from the signing???!!!! He said “aw I recognise you, you were the one with Sav’s jacket😃” I kept my cool somehow but I was fREAKING OUT

esp in the cafe where I don’t think he wanted attention drawn to him😅

also side note I can confirm that Viv is absolutely ripped irl like bRUUUH👁👄👁

everyone talks about how buff phil is but nO ONE TALKS ABOUT VIV

soz but that just needed to be said.

we decided to stay in the lobby and ofc we saw the leppards a bunch again

literally it was so surreal 

just as they were getting ready to check out Joe came out of the elevator and said “good morning ladies” to us 

we all just collectively internally screamed

we said some other things to him and vice versa but my brain was going 100 miles an hour (BC THAT’S JOE ELLIOTT RIGHT THERE TALKING TO US?) so I honestly dont remember what exactly we were saying😅

another fun thing was that my friend had gifted him a shirt at the signing aND THE MAN WAS WEARING IT AS HE WAS CHECKING OUT

IT WAS SO SWEET AND WE ALL JUST CRIED 

and then as he walked out he said “ladies I bid you adieu”

*more internal feral screaming*

Viv also went to check out and Caitlin (his wife) was with him and I stg she gave me a death glare LMAO

I honestly don’t think she meant to lol but it was still funny

like don’t worry I'm not gonna steal your man calm down

I managed to stop Phil just in time to give him one of my art prints!

one of my friends also had a programme from the Pyro days that had a double page pic of the guys and everyone had their signature (yes this even had Steve’s signature) apart from Phil

and she finally got to complete it by asking him to sign it! 

the best part about this was that he seemed so genuinely happy to see Steve’s signature

he then gAVE ME AND HER HUGS WTF FHDHDHSH

we both then cried 😃

like literally we were both so overwhelmed (in a good way) that we just had to let it all out

and just like that, they were on their way to the airport 

when I left for Sheffield four days prior I had no idea that when I left, I could say I'd had conversations with all five of my favourite people in the world. 

hopefully this was the first time of many I’ll see them!

somehow we were people from modern times but in this like little wood log type 'town' that was all in apadock in the middle of nowhere by a road we never saw vehicles on

there was also a threat that occasionally someone woud get possessed by evil and start killing people, often with weapons

you still had to go about shopping and daily stuff and just avoid them

most stores were a mix of big box stores on the inside despite that made no sense form the exterior, or like a junkyard wtyle

so here's the weird part, I was horrifially stressed to learn I was in charge of a bunch of cats and small animals (got them sorted no probs), but also a giant fishtank with too many fish???

a lot of my dreams come back to trying and failing to care for fish, never had them irl lmao

so they were okay but I was trying to get them better accommodation, went to a big box place that happened to have fish tanks

that didnt work, they started to bloat and float in the new tank

I was also dodging people who were possessed (you could tell bc for some reason a deep purple almost digital looking smear would circle their head and shoulders in random patterns, there was always two people at the same time

one of these, of all people, was Fuse from Apex LEgends, and also Bloodhound from the same game. They had guns.

then, when I sorted my fish, I came across someone's bedroom half full of water and hidden fish, and also a doen snakes

was able to hose the little fuckers out and scare them off and started finding fish throughout the room and putting them in jars of water to protect them

I had another half remembered dream where t started with me saving an animal that was being harmed and then I and my team had to evade scifi level buildings that were intent on killing us, and time kept skipping back and forth and we died but returned, and also sometimes ended up in the buildings and were seeing different futuristic apartments and robots and were used as security but they wanted my (animal like a bird? then hamster? and eventually became an infant????)

Can I ask more about Kat's Sire? You've mentioned he was abusive. Was their relationship always so toxic and painful? Did he have a reason for choosing Kat as his Childe in the first place?

Ohh to say this is a can of worms is the understatement of the century lmao

Apollonnio Di Fiorelli (who has not been using his legal name for several hundred years at this point) sees himself as the absolute apex of what a Ventrue should be. To be fair, he does/did have quite a few good things going for him–he's attractive, intelligent, wealthy, resourceful, and ambitious, to rattle off a few qualities. Unfortunately he's also deeply fucking unstable. There's a reason he never managed to raise his position past a certain level in the New York chapter of the Camarilla. His popularity was all extremely surface level, and no one actually trusted him on account of his double-crossing tendencies and selfish motives. This probably wouldn't have set him apart from other elders, but he's significantly more willing to go scorched earth if it means he comes out on top.

Where does Kat fit into this? Apollonnio isn't exactly the paternal type. In life, he would use his family's status during the Italian Renaissance to lure a good number of lovers into a false sense of security. None of these people were anyone significant, just an endless supply of pretty looking toys for him to play with until he got bored. No one missed them when they were gone; his sadism was an endless chasm inside his soul, something that was never filled up no matter how many people he tortured. Sometimes he'd get off on it, sometimes he wouldn't. The lack of sexual satisfaction usually resulted in a worse fate for the victims.

Eventually the war profiteering and ruthless attitude caught the attention of some Kindred, and the rest is history. His main reason for wanting to continue his bloodline can be boiled down to his own vanity. He wanted to create someone perfect. Not a carbon copy of himself, since there could never be anyone who came close to his level, but a protege he could show off in Court that would inspire jealousy in his peers. Perhaps with the extra respect, he would become just that much closer to making a better case for a Primogen's spot. Even better, perhaps he'd be in the running to become a Prince.

Kat was young, poor, and desperate to do something to secure her family some financial stability. She, too, was intelligent and attractive. Her analytical mind was tempered by the desperation, though, and that was exactly what Apollonnio needed. She had all the markings of someone who would succeed in the clan, and who didn't have enough of a safety net to stand up to him. He courted her. They got engaged. She didn't love him, but she convinced herself she could like him. They could at leave get along, and she could be happy that way.

There wasn't a wedding.

He didn't lean into the abuse immediately. It was all little things at first, punishments that were for her 'own good' to teach her a lesson, and really, separated from everything that she knew, there was no way she could have argued. He went through more Ghouls than she can remember at the time. He loved them until he didn't, until they looked at him wrong or left a wrinkle in one of his shirts. Financially, she was set, and he made sure that her (still living) family was receiving an allowance even after she 'disappeared.' That leverage also kept her from trying to leave. His intention was to break her mind and spirit, to get that perfect obedience. She wasn't from a notable family, so there was some extra work to be done to make sure she could impress the rest of the Ventrue. Somehow she did, between the psychological, physical, and sexual abuse. He definitely got worse as he started to realize she was hardier than his ghouls. She could take things that would have killed them within minutes. I'll let your imagination run with that one, but if you can think of it, it's probably been something she experienced. He wasn't above staking her for an evening and allowing people he wanted favours from to 'use' his childe for a bit.

She's got an uncannily high level of Fortitude. It wasn't developed by choice.

Being that she was never allowed away from him while in public, the only reason all of this even came to light was because of his own sloppiness. Sometimes, he would play a game that involved locking a select number of doors to the building and watching her scramble to find a way in before the sun rose. This eventually resulted in a Masquerade violation, as she made it inside just as dawn started to break, but still. People saw. This eventually led to a full-blown inquiry as to what was happening inside his property, and the reality of it was ugly and embarrassing for the Ventrue and Camarilla in equal measures. She's no fool, she knows they weren't looking out for her, but the second he was staked and shipped back to Europe in exile, she made a break for it.

He's been keeping an eye on her since. She's been largely nomadic since the 50s, hovering mostly near the west coast as it's the farthest place from him on the continent. And she knows in her heart that he'll come back for her one day to finish the job and make her pay for pulling the rug out from under him, costing him everything he'd ever worked for. As of Live Wire Waltz, he's had several decades to stew in his rage overseas. He'll go after her and anything she loves, and she's not so stupid as to believe he'd just be merciful and grant her a quick death once he gets his hands on her again. First thing he used to keep her in line was her family (and he's not even entirely done with that either, because unknown to Kat, one of them didn't die a human death). Now, she knows it would be the connections she's allowed herself to have in LA. Nines might hate the secrecy, but she's not going to be responsible for getting him or his coterie caught in the crossfire of her baggage.

Apollonnio is definitely planning something, and she knows it's a matter of when, not if.

hello i think you'd probs guess who am i from the way i just spammed liked and rebloged the "sans" series but i shall remain anon 💀 i'm not exactly sure how tumblr notifs work but i hope i didn't destroy your notifs!! anyways I JUST WANTED TO SAY i reallyyyy love the series!! it's one of the few series where i finished and went "actually the ML deserved to not end up with the MC". not that there's anyth wrong with fics that do have the main characs end up tgt, but there's a different kind of satisfaction when you see that someone who has done the main charac so wrong doesn't end up with them?? for sure i went "aww hwa's not ending up with y/n" for a split second but afterwards i immediately went, "i mean deserved"..he did so much crazy stuff to y/n. human beings are complex and have multiple layers / multifaceted, and you really did an amazing job bringing that to life. i found it especially so with how you wrote hongjoong. he had his mistakes which made me hate his character but yet there was a deep reason for it which made me understood despite not justifying it...and that showed dimensions to his personality. i also loved how you made the different endings so that us readers could choose who we'd prefer y/n to end up with!! i'm not sure if you intended it to be that way but i felt it was a great way of allowing readers to be involved in the story. thank you for writing this series! have a happy new year and i'm looking forward to your other pieces ❤️

Since we all know y/n is the baddest most sophisticated b*tch (sorry idk if I’m allowed to cuss or not LMAO) her Ex lover is still obsessed w her and thinks that they are soulmate even tho they obv aren’t. I feel like y/n knows he stalks her but she ignores it until it gets worst. Like he found out where she lives. (He finds out where she lives while she’s sick which is now loll)

Anyways I feel like Mina would be over at y/ns place and since she’s getting better they are In her living room talking abt who knows what and y/n gets a knock on her door she goes to open it and admittedly closes it looking shocked. Mina being a pro hero is  supposed to be able to read body language. Mina ask her if everything is Alr and y/n OFC (stupid a**) says yes. Mina didn’t want to keep pressing the issue so she dropped it until it became a reoccurring thing with y/n and it’s not just her that noticed. She (y/n) is extremely hesitant to open the door and when she does she opens it a little bit. (And then idk her EX does crazy like breaks into her apt and scares the sh** outa y/n) THIS IS WHERE MY BIG IDEA STOPS 😭😭😭😭😭😭 that was a lotta rambling my apologies

continuing on from your idea...

⏤mina, having the sneaking suspicion that something bad might happen to you that night, notifies the rest of the group later on that day

⏤usually, bakugou was in charge of you during the night and always sat in a chair beside your bed on high alert, ready to serve your every need...

⏤BUT!

⏤now that mina told them about your suspicious behaviour, all of them were put on high alert. 

⏤they all agreed to keep you unaware of their intentions by having bakugou take care of you like usual but they made sure that when on the night patrol, they were close by with their radios on and constantly being hyper aware of the shortest route to your residence from wherever they were situated - just in case of an emergency 

⏤naturally, they trusted bakugou with keeping you safe but that didn’t mean that they had no worries for you at all 

⏤seeing as you usually feel asleep before bakugou switched with the sero, who took care of you in the late evening, you were under the impression that you were alone at home 

⏤your current condition disallowed you from comfortably staying awake so you were constantly tossing and turning in bed, brows furrowed and sweating more than usual

⏤”what is she dreaming about?” bakugou utters in frustration as he continues to wipe away the vastly accumulating sweat rom your wrinkled brows

⏤he wasn’t frustrated at you no no, he was annoyed at the fact that he couldn’t make you comfortable no matter how many wet towels he uses to cook your forehead or wipe your sweat clean off your skin 

⏤as the night progresses, you eventually fall into a dreamless sleep, far too exhausted to continue stressing over your ex with the added burden of your fever on your body

⏤nevertheless, bakugou continues being on high alert at all times except for when he momentarily leaves to room so as to go to the toilet 

⏤this was the perfect opportunity for your crazy ex to sneak into your room via the window bakugou left ajar so as to help cool you down better 

⏤your ex was a creepy and disgusting man - someone that you had grown to dislike the more you got to know him and naturally left as quickly as you were able to 

⏤what followed was harassment to the highest degree, thankfully you were able to protect yourself due to your self defence training and quirk, however, it didn’t take away the shuddering feeling of being watched constantly

⏤you grew paranoid and extremely fidgety over time and eventually filled for a restraining order. unfortunately, that didn’t work and left you to deal with the situation yourself

⏤you were naive enough to think that you had shaken him after a particularly horrible beating he took from you in self defence. he had come at you with a knife but you were able to disarm him and send him limping home with a dislocated arm, a black eye and a bruised ribcage 

⏤over time, you got busy with work and slowly forgot about him, it wasn’t until today that you were reminded of his crazy obsession with you and were thrown into a panic 

⏤believing that you were alone at night and in your most vulnerable state, you didn’t feel safe and sought to deal with the situation however you could, even in your dreams

⏤all attempts were in vain, however

⏤bakugou, returning from his momentary break to the toilet came back just in time to see your creepy ex hovering over your sleeping figure. as if you sensed the unpleasant existence stalking you, your body stiffened under the blankets and you began to breathe uncomfortably, beginning to sweat bucket-fulls once more

⏤not wanting to disturb your sleep as rest was the top priority for you, bakugou crept up from behind the unknown figure and instantly went for his neck, choking him into silence as he dragged his thrashing figure outside, far away from you all the while sending a emergency signal to the rest of the squad 

⏤in no time at all, the rest of the squad arrived and had your crazy ex cornered. at this time he had already been tied up by bakugou and was ready for a quick chat 

⏤”what the hell were you doing with our yn?” kirishima began, sharp teeth grinding together as he clenched his jaw 

⏤silence 

⏤”speak up, we can’t fucking hear you,” bakugou spat as the others glared on from beside him, their eyes piercing through the moonlight and darkness of the night 

⏤”y-yn isn’t yours - that’s the first thing,” your ex finally cracked, giggling creepily in between 

⏤”you’re right,” sero began, “yn doesn’t belong to anyone so why were did you break into her house,” it took everything in sero not to lash out but they needed answers

⏤”wrong again!” your ex sang, “she doesn’t belong to you, she belongs to me! i’m her boyfriend!”

⏤”yn doesn’t have a boyfriend,” kaminari spoke up

⏤”that’s right! and if she did, we would have known,” mina agreed

⏤“that’s because she doesn’t know it yet, we broke up but we’ll get back together again soon” the tied up man giggled to himself, “it’s only a matter of time before she realises her mistake and she comes back to me,” 

⏤the team of heroes didn’t know what to say, they were so shocked and appalled at what they were seeing and hearing that they couldn’t bring themselves to utter a single word of response, they only listened further

⏤”i hoped she’d come back soon, anyway...but i was getting impatient so i had to try and convince her a little more. she’s been ignoring my love for her all this time, she can’t continue rejecting me for long...” he laughs, “i bet she misses it”

⏤“miss what...?” bakugou didn’t want to know but it had to be said

⏤”i bet she misses being with me. she’s so beautiful and so soft to the touch, she always smells good too and she has such a lovely voice - i want her all to myself, she doesn’t deserve to be anybody else’s”

⏤it was then that the team of heroes just about lost their minds. the creep before them didn’t say anything explicit but the madness in his eyes and the harrowing smile he was displaying was off putting. they dread to imagine what a lowlife nasty sob like him put you through but they saw flashes of unforgivable scenes that sent all of them into insanity 

⏤someone so precious to them didn’t deserve any such treatment. you may not have disclosed anything to them strict on being professional but if this man was willing to break into your house...they were fearful to think about what else he was capable of

⏤he deserved a beating from that act alone, actually, and a beating he got

⏤they could’ve killed the guy - they were more than tempted to and it would have been so easy...but he deserved to suffer in jail for his crimes against you so they held back no matter how painful that was for them 

⏤the very next day, under their authority and recommendation, the man was locked up for as many years as they could tally up and seeing as they were heroes, they were able to look into his past documentations and found you had filed a restraining order for him under harassment, assault and a number of other things they grew all the more furious at the more the read

⏤they would prefer it if you didn’t realise what they did that night but the media couldn’t let the story of 5 high class pro heroes sending a singular, beaten man to jail for life

⏤your creepy ex’s battered photos were all over the news and you were so incredibly grateful
