I remember when I first started playing Stardew Valley, and genuinely thought it must be impossible to get a date for the first flower dance. Four hearts before spring 24th? Who could do that?
And now I regularly see YouTube videos pop up where people get married by day 17, or get married in three days with prep, and it’s like. Damn.
But even more surprising is the fact that on the playthrough I just started for the update, I managed to get two girls to four hearts before the flower dance. If only a younger me could see me now, achieving the impossible. I hope she’d be proud, even if it’s such a silly thing.
these three but it's red dead redemption 2 (not shipping!! don't tag as a ship!!!!)
(technically an au co-ran w passion, but she doesn't know the game at all so literally everything is being decided by me lmao it's just her fault the au exists /pos /lh)
extra info:
this is a powerless au. sonic and shadow don't have superspeed, knuckles and amy don't have super strength, etc. they're just a lot faster/stronger than the average person
the master and chaos emeralds are folklore. whether or not they're real is yet to be determined
ogilvie renamed himself to sonic when he ran away
prower is sonic's last name
miles didn't know his name when sonic found him, so he dubbed him 'tails' while he tried to find his family. when he realized the kid didn't have one, he gave him the name 'miles,' but still calls him tails.
sonic is very aware that miles' name is now a pun, which is why he chose it. though, he makes sure that miles knows he could choose his own name if he wants to
amy only agreed to naming him miles due to the meaning behind the name (it means soldier)
while amy hates killing people and avoids doing so, she will not hesitate to end someone's life if they hurt her son
miles doesn't normally wear the coat and scarf (i just haven't given him another outfit yet lmao)
while they're still married, amy and sonic only wear their rings if they go into a town
there are normal horses and other animals in this au (i will make another post on everyone's horse if people care enough ✌️)
When you call me darling, I get weak at the knees
And melt into a puddle of helpless melodies

If anyone needs me, I'll be in the corner screeching over this fabulous art of my dearest darling AJ and Nate from @commander-sarahs-art 🥰💕🥺🎄

In a long-abandoned manor located deep within the swamps of Bayou Nwa, one amateur historian made a remarkable discovery. Underneath the floorboards, a satchel with a faded HM monogrammed into the leather was discovered. While a few items of interest were found, the photographs are perhaps the most important discovery. These images are believed to be photographs of the infamous Van der Linde gang shortly before their dissolution.
“If these pictures are indeed of the Van der Linde gang, they paint a picture of the gang’s day-to-day life,” historian Josephine Chǎtaney noted, “Oftentimes, we get so caught up in the infamy of the group that we forget that they, too, were in fact real people.”
The gang’s exploits were recorded in the firsthand account of John (Jack) Marston’s 1927 novel American Venom and later popularized by the 1959 film Red Dead Redemption starring John Wayne.
”I really think these pictures are of Dutch’s boys. I mean, these guys are legends. Honestly, I can’t believe I got lucky enough to find these.” the amateur historian — a man by the name of Ricky De Santa — went on to say.
The photos are currently under the care of the Blackwater Historical Society, undergoing restoration to be displayed in the Blackwater Museum.
John (Jack) Marston declined to comment on the photographs.
After watching both Hannibal and all of the Saw movies I can say that these two women deserved so much better. They were both in such vulnerable situations, ones where they needed love and care and all they got was abuse and manipulation. Of course they're not completely innocent, but if they actually got the help they needed instead of being thrust into a world of violence, because they think that it protects them, then maybe their lives would have been different.
And I think it's very easy to dismiss these two as deranged murders, complicit in violence on the first viewing, but deep down both of these women truly care about others. Amanda, killing Adam because she doesn't want him to suffer, and Abigail, being haunted by the girls because she feels immense guilt. I mean, when she's with her dad hunting, she says how deer are similar to a 4 year old human being, how they tread carefully not to step on the plants, she humanises an animal because she cares. And as stated before, they're no saints (especially Amanda), but they're not cold hearted killers.
Oh, and fatal neck wound in front of the only person they trusted, left to bleed out with no one that truly knew or loved them
They're so scared in those moments because all that fighting for survival meant nothing in the end. I think Amanda sums both of their characters up perfectly:
John needed more help with his games, Hannibal needed to get closer to Will. They were used and then discarded.
i have feelings (not positive) about the sudden proliferation of posts saying abigail not being eaten showed how she was unloved even in death cause...that's just her father's philosophy? abigail doesn't seem to believe in it. hannibal certainly doesn't believe in it. like i'd argue that the opposite is true, that hannibal not eating people shows he cares for them beyond seeing them as pigs. hannibal not eating will was proof of his love for him in the end.
like all that matters to me personally about jace/sara is the obvious jonsa foreshadowing. sara snow doesn’t have to have really existed for it to still be jonsa foreshadowing because mushroom didn’t invent her, grrm did. like, george decided to create the character of sara snow and introduce the idea of a romance between her and jace. and that foreshadows a different targaryen bastard/daughter of winterfell pairing (for a variety of reasons that i can’t be bothered writing out right now, but the main one is that “f&b” is supplementary material to the main series). maybe in canon sara never existed. maybe jace was really hooking up with cregan. maybe the whole thing is just slander and jace was always faithful to his betrothed. either way, the story exists for one reason and one reason only: jonsa foreshadowing. :)
as I continue NOT to work on my thesis: Magnus and Abigail <3 he's making sure his awesome wife stays hydrated while doing her research
(i- Abigail's dress looked reddish brown on my tablet, but my laptop makes it look just red, and I want y'all to know it's BROWN ok I'm vibrating angrily)
another thing i like thinking about is an eventuality where all of the kids are still infected at the end but they manage to also stay alive so they're forced into this pack situation where they can only safely be with each other on full moon nights. they move in together maybe, or they don't but they meet up around each full moon and they hunker down somewhere safe where they won't be doing harm to others (hopefully). they spend the day (or the few days before) getting ready for it together and they form this lifelong camaraderie around their condition, learning to navigate it and cope with it together. some of them fall in love, others stay in love, but each and every one of them finds comfort in the others
