(im going to write a proper fic for this sometime soon but for now here's some thoughts)

so nico and blake have long admitted to themselves that they like the other person, and so theyre in this denial phase because they dont want to mess things up with each other + nico being jacks captain/teammate is obviously something to consider ..

anyway! so theres a devils event of some kind, maybe a wag party or something and anyway, blake goes (dressed to the 9s because she wants her man!) and she sees nico there talking to this girl all night

which, annoys blake to no end because she truly thought that he was reciprocating her feelings + the signs were all there

so shes literally so jealous and annoyed the whole night. just like constantly looking in nicos direction because she "cant believe i was so stupid"

and nico senses that blakes annoyed at him but doesn't know why. and so when blake leaves the event early before saying goodbye nico shows up to her apartment because ??? hello you've been glaring at me all night and we aren't usually like this...

blake, while usually reserved just immediately admits to liking him. she gives him absolutely no space to talk shes like, "i bought your jersey! i dont even own my twins jersey!" and shes pulling out her phone, "and duolingo! i have duolingo on my phone to try and learn swiss german!"

and shes just ranting about how much of an idiot she is and how sorry she is for thinking there was something between the two of them

First, Thank you @watercolor-hearts for tagging me! when i saw it i knew it wouldnt be an easy task (mostly because i love to talk a lot lmao) but i liked the concept and felt that it would be interesting way to dive more into the ships i am fond of.

Pairing/Shippy list!

Here are the rules:

1. List your top seven ships.

2. Put them all in order for your love for them; 7 to 1, 1 being your favourite.

3. Name the fandom.

4. Put a picture of the guys in question.

7. Ziam (Zayn/Liam Payne) (One Direction)

weird way to start this list, since its not f1 related, and i very much believe it's a dead ship now. But honestly they deserve this honorable mention for being the first ship i adopted, and i didnt even care about One Direction or their music around that time (in fact i cant remember even how i stumbled upon this ship lmao). These two together just had so much chemistry for me, either on stage, interviews, or anything really. also they were my introduction to this whole idea of "ship" (Larry was the absolute more popular one obviously, but it was Ziam that really SUCKED me in like a vacuum cleaner). Unfortunately, Liam's distasteful comments last year bursted my bubble about them (even though he has explained this year he wasn't in a good place, and i personally think they are okay with each other, even though still distant), but i still like to watch their compilation videos on youtube sometimes, it's quite bittersweet :')

6. Martian (Sebastian Vettel/Mark Webber) (Formula 1)

honestly i feel i just dont put these two higher because they feel somewhat new to me, like i need to dive into them more. I just think its such a fun ship in the sense that it has a looot of things going on at the same time, their very public rivalry and the famous multi 21, mark's angry face at that one press conference, it could be so so angsty but they just make me laugh (also, the making love on track quote is now burned into my brain so in no way they could be out of this list).

5. Christian horner/Toto wolff (Formula 1)

okay okay this is the part yall realize im actually crazy. but... they DO have chemistry when they are interacting, even in their non-amicable moments, and i do love myself some good enemies to lovers. Obviously it helps that i think they both are very actrattive, sexy middle aged men that have hunger for victory and i believe they hold so much respect and admiration for each other, considering they are the two most sucessfull TP's at this point. Also, HEIGHT DIFFERENCE.

4. Versainz (Max Verstappen/Carlos Sainz) (Formula 1)

(i wanted to find that ONE gif where he lifts carlos a little so bad but this one will do) Oh, this one really rocketed fast into my favorites. I just think they are just so wholesome. I always feel Max is warmer towards a certain number of drivers, and Carlos is one of them. And i dont even ship them in a ... kind of way, even tho it makes sense in my head the narrative that both were each others "first's" before going into bigger ships. Its just that it feels so special that both debuted together as teammates and, both took different trajectories in the way their career planned out, but theres still a genuine connection between them, at least in my view.

3. Maxiel (Max Verstappen/Daniel Ricciardo) (Formula 1)

I know its weird because i dont really post about them. But this falls into the same category as versainz for me, except that here there's a kind of dynamic that it makes me go "hmm... interesting". I always like to see max smiling and being happy because this boy went thru so much in his childhood, and oh how Daniel knows how to bring this side of Max. If Max can be warmer to certain drivers, for Daniel he has a whole SOFT SPOT, and i think that's very endearing. IMO, Daniel feels like the person that changed him in deeper ways we know, that one person that was indirectly a "life teacher" to him maybe, and thats special to me.

2. Brocedes (Lewis Hamilton/Nico Rosberg) (Formula 1)

Oh, the ANGSTY in this one. yes, this one deserves the ANGSTY in all caps because to me that's them. Oh to have lived through their divorce must have been heartbreaking but what a freaking cinematic ship this one is. I just can't ignore it. How it feels to me that Nico is the one who wears his heart on his sleeve, while Lewis has that chilling Capricorn control over his emotions is so. just so. And the fact that Nico's legacy is forever entangled in Lewis' name. If a movie screenwriter would come up with this, i'd think it would be overdramatic, but no, theyre actually this unhinged.

Charlos (Charles Leclerc/Carlos Sainz) (Formula 1)

how do i even start talking about these two idiots? Okay, so obviously i think they're both very attractive and that definetely helped me to ship them lmao. But thats kind of reductive, because these two have sooo much chemistry in my opinion, even before their ferrari days, there was so much potential waiting to bloom, and it did. I love their banter, their competitiveness, how they can get childlike around each other sometimes. How they are so physical, how they make each other laugh (let me not talk about their gazes to each other or i will not end this today). I love how Carlos doesn't hide he wants to compete with Charles (which brings him unnecessary hate sadly), and how both respect each other in this stance. There's a bit of angsty underneath this soft/fluffy surface too (more from Carlos' perspective imo - but lets not forget Charles and Silverstone 2022 too - this is my charlos angsty origin story), but they still find their way, and that kind of compels me even more into them. I just think theres so many layers, multitudes, in the way we can create, write and read about them. Absolute favorites.

The whole Daniel thing has made me think about how drivers that say dumb misogynistic things get treated by the fandom. If you're talking about Hulkenberg or Perez, then they're ruthlessly mocked for it (and rightly so imo), but if its a driver people like, like Danny Ric or Kimi, people seem to bend over backwards to defend them and find reasons to justify what they said. Idk, is it that both are part of very popular ships, where Hulkenberg and Perez aren't? I have a lot of thoughts, but I also have the flu so they're not the most organised (I hope ur having a good evening I love ur blog)

Hello! I think it comes down to the strength of their fanbase and their popularity in general.

Now, i can only speak about the ecosystem.of tumblr because i refuse to go near shitter in general and instagram in any fandomish way, and i do have these debated with my irls sometimes, so keep that in mind.

Firstly, Daniel, Kimi, even Seb (i refuse to leave out my misogynistic king of spewing dumb shit about grid girls who did, eventually, learn better, or at least finally learned not to say that shit in public) are very well liked, popular drivers. Namely, only two of them are wdcs and the third one never will be, but Daniel does have a devout fanbase and his former talent and potential as a driver must be acknowledged. With all those things come the fanbases, which are all prone to idolising their blorbo in any and every motherfucking way possible. Nobody is immune to this and obviously you'll be more ready to make excuses for your pathetic meow meow than for someone you dislike; thats a normal human sports fan fact. However if you look at Checo and Hulkenberg (there is only One True Nico in the sport and his surname is Girlbossberg), their fanbases aren't big, if they even exist on tumblr, or so I believe, unless I have missed a whole part of fandom existing somewhere in my bubble?

Moving on.

Now however, i do think there's difference in fanbases too ngl. We obviously dont all like the same drivers, some are more appealing to whatever attracts us than the others, and let's just say that birds of feather flock together and leave it at that. (A.N. so many people are sooooo wromg about their characterisations of most drivers but that's also my personal biases at work.)

So what I see here is that more popular drivera will have more fans quantiatively first and foremost (qualitative analysis: cancelled because of the imminent death of the author), ans those fans will be ready to take up arms and fight for their (white) boy millionaire. This brings the fans into some lovely personally-induced logical fallacies, like we've seen in the past couple od days. Now, im not gonna preach moral.high ground here like some because i am well aware of what kind of men thse people are (context is everything beloveds), but i will say this. People are prone to so many conscious amd unconscious biases which take a long while to dismantle. That's not an easy job, and when you project onto someone (valid) and develop a personal (to you, and not to generalise but oftentimes also a parasocial) relationship with a celebrity, you start taking things personally. Now this, id say from personal experience, would be the time to go take a walk. Snort some grass. Ride a bull and all that.

Amyways my point was, round the elbow to the wrist (or was it shoulder? i cant rmbr), that people will always rather defend their fave, no matter how shitty he is, than whichever driver they dislike. This is not uncommon; this is human nature.

I will add that a lot of fans (i dont know anything about their demographic) don't know the line between "following/thirsting over a hot dude" and the dangers of a parasocial relationship. My issue with it all is that what they do when thay feel threatened is deflect blame feom their special boy to literally anyone else, and that results in everyone who disagrees with this apparent popular consensus becomes a target of a witch hunt. Some people would rather go around attacking other's well-crticulated and above all well acessible target. Posts and people than call -- OKAY up to this point is what I wrote last night before I passed out like a log. I havent changed anything, which shows in lacking any sentence structure and missing words, so let me continue because I vaguely remember what I wanted to say.

My problem is that it's not personal, and people act as it is because they personally identify their own morals with who they like. And when they feel as if their personality is threatened or judged, they lash out, usually while taking some sort of artificially imagined "moral high ground". That results in hate anons in inboxes of anyone who disagrees with them and calls of "well you never liked him anyway so now you have an excuse". Like baby, no. Don't project your feelings on me. I know how shitty my special boys are, and i am capable of criticising them and stanning them while acknowledging the ways in which they suck. I dont equate my morals and ethics with stanning some boys who drive around in circles.

I think i lost the plot there by the end. Bottom line - when youre already disliked, not many people will rally to defend you, regardless of the fact you say exactly the same shit as someone who is beloved to people. :)

nico might be more blurryface than the rest simply because of the focus tyler puts onto nico to BE blurry when just øne part cant do that by himself and theres gøtta be a tøn of pressure put onto him to be blurry when hes just one part of the fractured whole

stressed out is the first place øn the album itself where we hear blurry and he talks to us and introduces himself, nico is stressed out he is that song he is an introduction to blurryface as a whole and if thats true that nico has a bit more blurry in him than the rest øf the bishops because of maybe like tyler just visualizing nico as blurry and that kinda made that one part believe himself to be blurry more than the øthers (ør totally believing himself to be the whole of blurryface)

but basically what if nico is using the name blurryface to høld onto the past and høld onto a time when the bishøps were whole as blurryface

thinking about my drdt milgram au that stemmed from a comment my friend made

teruko would definitely take the role of the prison guard. she is so sick of everyone there and its very funny. also monotv as jackaloupe

oh also the voices are still canon because they're peak comedy

putting the rest of this under the cut since its just me dumping random thoughts..it is on the brain

i think xander would be very similar to kotoko? in the way that his crime could be killing genuinely awful people.. maybe he'd even take the role of harming those found guilty like she did. i also do believe it wouldn't be too out of character for him to try and form an alliance with the guard like she did.

would be fitting if charles accidentally killed his brother and genuinely didn't remember. i'd have to think of the details but it would surely be an accident.. perhaps something went horribly wrong when he was messing around with chemicals and it ended up killing his brother in some way.. hehe

ace and nico are fairly obvious. nico would end up killing one of their bullies (cmon. they already tried canonically) and ace would accidentally drive someone to suicide via bullying. though i'd have to expand on ace more since all crimes in milgram are supposed to be morally gray in one way or another.. i'll think about it

similar situation to nico, arei would probably kill her sisters. i'd have to distinguish them more if i end up building on it. i think arei's situation could be less of a "heat of the moment" thing and more of an elaborate plan since i do think nico's murder would be more impulsive

EDIT: just had an idea!!! another possibility for arei's murder could be that her sisters pressured her into doing it, possibly with the promise to cut down on their torture or even make her "popular". would make things a lot more interesting, so i'll likely go with it

arturo would definitely try reviving a dead celebrity like shidou did with his wife. you cant even try to tell me im wrong. i don't think arturo would regret it at first however.

with whit.. no clue. i was thinking it could be like mahiru's, but i also wanna make whit a little more on the sinister side? he deserves to be a little fucked up. just as a treat. i just know his mvs would be really cheerful like mahiru's

Since I did a prediction earlier today, time to update!!

OKAY NO HiATUS WHAT NOOOOO! honestly having looked at the time during the livestream, i genuinely was questioning how they were gonna wrap this up by ep 12 like last time and started to wonder if this chapter will be longer as we spent this whole epsiode in david's extended mask off moment. as much as im sad abt the hiatus i am glad this is extended BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THE ACTUAL CRIME SCENE OR A DEBATE SCRUM tho ughhh noo this hiatus might kill meeee

OKAY DAVID OMG bro lost it AHHHHH i really wanted to believe that david had a good/moral reason for all this but to know he did all this secret maliciously?!!? ik he's not killer for sure so i do wonder how he's gonna be used in next chapters cuz as hot as he lowkey is rn and i do love his biting sarcasm, he's gonna be geninuely such a bitchy force to deal with in future chapters. to have this man constantly causing trouble for no other reason than fun and never trustworthy, i have to wonder if there's any hope left for him. i really hope that his arc actually has him improve cuz u know, poetic irony and all that jazz. I like that drdt takes advantage of its video format as normally to have a character interject like that in a mainline dr game would be bad since it's interupting gameplay and taking control out of player's hands. But it works here since we're not actually playing and shows teruko and charles backing each other up and shows people actually getting involved!!!

To the actual crime ... uh i dont know ... clearly this crime is so complicated that we need a TRIAL 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO lmaoo. i mentioned before but charles's comment of "fucking up" at the end seems to strongly imply the time of the murder, and thus everyone's testimonies for that time, are now irrelevant. Since arei was alive in the evening last night (ace does claim 7:30, but i do agree with david that ace might have just said that to back up his point rather than it being true) the death happened the prior night or early that morning. it puts into the question the note, calling for 7:30 but it could be 7:30 am before the motive reveal. however, unless it was something like a trap, such a time is so tight i find it hard to believe. maybe i'll do a post later doing a fully theory as i lose my mind during this hiatus (praying for it be under 6 months)

Dick Grayson- I am VERY emotionally attached to him. Had an instant crush on him when I first watched Teen Titans. He's such a complex character but also so fucking relatable?? I love him so much.His dynamics with other characters (especially his family) are very intriguing and he is such a lovable loser <3. I relate to his issues with his family in a way too so?? He's just cool.

Bakugou Katsuki - Complex character again. But also a fucking loser. I love him so much. His anger issues and his ideals are just? Very relatable to me? He is the PRIME example of gifted child burnout. His redemption(??) arc was just <33. He makes me so sad but fills me with unimaginable glee. His relationship with Deku is SO interesting to me but also makes me fucking miserable. Lovable weirdo

Zuko- COMPLEX CHARACTER AGAIN. HE MAKES ME FUCKING MISERABLE. UR FATHER HATES YOU BUT U WANT HIS LOVE. U LOVE UR MOTHER BUT SHE DISAPPEARS. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE CARED FOR. LIKE UGHHH. His redemption arc was so fucking GOOD. They did that so WELL. His struggle with being good and his struggle to not believe propaganda fed to him throughout his entire life? 10/10. Gojo Satoru - Complex character again. He makes me want to sob.He is the strongest. He is alone. His best friend turned traitor. His best friend died. His bests friend body is possessed. He can never trust anyone. He is the strongest. He will never be the same. -> But him going from "monkeys shudnt be our responsibility" to "its our responsibility" was excellent. It really showed the way Riko affected him. He's such a fucking loser, i love him.

Dean Winchester- Daddy issues GALORE. love him so so much. h is somehow v personal to me?? like he makes me SO SAD. he's SUCH a messed up person. i was a mother, i was a father, i was a brother, i was never a child. i sacrifice over and over again, i try so hard to be good. damn loser i love him <3.

i think part of the beauty of litchi hikari club is the fact it can have such a different personal meaning to different people; there's so much in there that's ultimately human despite the bizarre happenings that it's hard not to relate. however i think, personally, that the most important and ubiquitous theme in litchi hikari club is that everything comes back to the trauma of poverty.

the fact they were even allowed to form such a radical group, and then their actions continued to fall under the radar to their parents no matter how harmful i think ultimately stems from the fact their families are struggling to survive in keikou, so they don't necessarily have as watchful of an eye over their children as they likely should. it's something they all have in common, too - tamiya and jaibo couldn't be less alike, but there's one incredibly brief moment where they connect, where jaibo acnkowledges that 'i know, it's the same for all our houses [that they're small].' they're all victims of the same unfortunate living conditions, even though the individual levels of neglect differ. tamiya loves his family and is loved in return, but it doesn't change the fact the prospects in keikou are bleak enough to allow the hikari club to fly under the radar; jaibo is neglected entirely and left to his own devices.

even kanon, who doesn't seem in a hurry to go back to anything, and knows that 'unhappy times go by faster when [she's] sleeping', seems to be affected by this whether she hails from keikou or not. i think the ugliest truth of all of this is that perhaps this would have been stopped much earlier, and perhaps with less tragedy, if the grind to scramble to survive in a squalid industrial town had not been as grueling for their families.

i also think that the quest to gain and keep love and struggles with purpose is a very important part of all of this as well, mainly for the weight it has with what happens between jaibo and zera, but it also extends to the other members as well. jaibo ultimately destroys the club out of an attempt to keep what he felt was a 'failing' love (which had really never existed at all). nico's search to be wanted and to have a purpose, which he finds in zera, destroys what could have been a healing, healthy friendship with tamiya, it takes his eye, and ultimately kills him as well; neither nico nor jaibo understand that they're being used, and that the purpose and meaning they take from their roles isn't something that extends to zera.

it's highlighted through zera's obsession with chess, as well - even though he states on multiple occasions, even going so far as to make it one of their commandments, that they're nothing but pawns, all of them struggle to reconcile this with their lives. nico and jaibo for the reasons mentioned above, and tamiya, kaneda and dafu because they believe their lives have worth outside of being chess pieces - due to having bonds with each other that they're fortunate to have in the first place. real love allowed them all to die resisting zera, whereas the ersatz 'love' and purpose zera offers to those who haven't experienced any takes over and drives them to their deaths.

It's not even funny anymore. Ferrari is literally destrying our boy's career. He cant even leave ferrari and tbh it's different for leclerc than it was for the driver before or even carlos. Hiiii anon!! I will be honest, that is my deepest and biggest fear, it haunts me everytime I see a quote about ferrari

And yess exactly, charles has only ever had ferrari, atleast seb was a 4 time wdc and had proven himself, charles has also proven himself countless times to everyone who has braincells but unfortunately it is not the same

But in my heart, I genuinely do believe he will become a wdc (and with ferrari too!). He has only had a linear growth graph, he gets better with every race even though he may not have the car to match it. and charles is someone who goes on, he is the unstoppable force to ferrari's immovable object and when it comes to stubbornness and determination, even ferrari's clownery doesn't stand a chance.

I hate bringing up one of my enemies, alonso, in this but he is extremely old and dare I say, he can channel his prime self if he has the car. I know the trend has been different the past decade but I think charles is similar to alonso (you have no idea how much it PAINS me to say this ksnkssj) in that way, we are very far away from charles' prime and given how amazing he is already, we are NOT ready; and he isn't the type to slip away from his peak either, he will keep going as long as he wants to! A counter argument can be made here on how alonso is powered by spite and spite only and that charles isn't that spiteful but to be fair, what charles lacks in spite, he makes up for it in heart and grit!!

ferrari is well.....ferrari, but right now they're someone throwing water out of a sinking boat with a bucket instead of plugging the leak, but charles along with the perfect combination of tp, car, strat team & pit stop guys, engineers, etc can easily fill the hole. and i know it seems impossible right now and too tall of an order to ever be done in time, but stranger things have happened!! even though I sometimes say i wish charles would go to rbr & merc, he loves ferrari too much and he will drag that team to a championship even if it's the last thing he does in his career! he just won't give up ( :"))

uhm. not a word, but a phrase. "i have you" or "i got you". i fucking SCREAM.

ahahaha tbh idk? probably. i think it would be fun, having lil ghosts around. moving stuff taht i dont rmbr moving. i was in love w casper when i was a kid and absolutely believed in ghosts then, does that count?

13. What is a subject matter that is incredibly difficult for you write about? What is easy?

any type of explicit torture, non-con, dub con, abuse and violence that isnt like, movie-like spy murder and stuff. i cant and won't.

easy is inner monologue and angst :) so so easy.

17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.

you asked about the spy au. god. i wish i knew? like, im not sure how the lore works. i know we have criminal syndicates, the bulls and the cavallino rampantes (i take no criticism on this xD) and i know im thinking of a sort of. man from uncle kinda setup? for the good guys, but i dont have a centralized thrush. its vaguely james bond and john le carre inspired also, bcs im a sucker for those, but for other stuff, i legitimately have no fucking idea. it will come to me at some point, and knowing myself, everything will make it into the text. or i will talk your ear off with my worldbuilding. <333

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?

i actually had to think about this a lot. i usually make sure to include at least hints in my writings, if for nobody else, for myself. but remembering any of it without re-reading the fics... hmmm. imma answer other questions then come back to this if i remember anything xD

OH I REMEMBERED. in the princess of monaco au, when seb and charles meet in the club and talk, when charles is drunk, seb already has a beginning of a crush on charles. then he makes himself stop, because charles is sixteen, as jules tells him, and he feels like an absolute bastard, so he keeps as far away as possible. thats why later, when they meet again and charles says "i cant go till im 18" seb kinda blanches. enzo isn't that far off in his freakout, but i have to clarify seb would never do anything, in fact he's gonna agonize over it a lote in general, but like. he thought the kid was cute, and he has morals, so he freaked. xD

28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?

oh it has to be charles in my princess of monaco au. that is my therapy, that's just, idk, i love that version of him so much. he's very. close to my heart there. very close second is the way i wrote aredhel in his brother's keeper. idk why, i just love her there so very much, although she doesn't appear that much? and maybe azaghal in ardent red heartbreak, because, well. it's seb. :) however, lalwen has my heart all over, ngl. her and cirdan are adorable :)))

36. They say to Write What You Know. Setting aside for a moment the fact that this is terrible advice…what do you Know?

complicated family relationships. being a bitch due to circumstances and as a defence mechanism (khm vielleicht vielleicht sequel). having a legacy. defying the legacy. being fundamentally wrong and having the world swept from under you. fighting not to die. grief. maybe some other things, but those are for anyone who reads the fics to tell me if they noticed something. im in the eyes of the storm. i dont know.

38. What is something about your writing process YOU think is Really Weird? If you are comfortable, please share. If you’re not comfortable, what do you think cats say about us?

i dont think anything i do is weird tbh? i could do with a bit less research that isnt relevant for anything except my peace of mind. i think cats are like. "peasant. heathen. feed me. yesssss-now move. bitch. uwu. bye" :)

so. THAT. passage. well. i mean. as you may or may not know, i relied on my own personal experiences for that fic, adjusted very much for the appropriate context (as in, them being rich dudes and decidedly not in hs, tho you wouldn't know it). i. like nico. i think i get nico on some level. and nico, he. he pushes, because he's always had to push. because of the legacy and because of the insecurity. because he has to know, if. well. is this going to be the moment where they quit on me? is this going to be the moment when i become too much for them? is this the moment where they say to themselves thats it, im done, i cant take him and all that he is anymore. he's too much for me. he's too this or too that and not enough of modesty and not enough of poise and not enough of effortless beauty and class, like he should be. im done

so he pushes. and he's charming about it. and he waits, because, well. he was never taught that love can be unconditional.
