Okay so last night I was having an "art style panic"? I guess you could call it that? But I was feeling really bad, so i started drawing other peoples art styles and picking points and peaces out of it!

I did this last night when I was really tired and i used a pen so the drawings may not be how i usually do my drawings haha

Ok so first up we have @emjoyzhos-ej !! I recently just found your account but you have a very cool style!!

•Your skull shape is very unique, very rectangle

•your lines are very sketchy (most people I follow have this trait in their art..)

•when you color it looks like you mayy have rook inspiration from itsxroxannex? Idk i wrote that down, maybe it's not true but I guess i thought that last night

But I love your style! Your art is so cool and I had fun trying to replicate it!

What did i learn from this whole thing i did? That everyone has a unique style, that even if they try to change it it still stays theirs and it's still unique

I also found out that everyone, small artists and big artists, has flaws! It's comforting to know that everyone has flaws so I know I'm just learning and getting better everyday

Another thing I got from this is that everyone's styles are always changing and warping. But thats fine! Because everyone's moving and changing, and the worlds always moving and changing!

So, don't be so hard on yourself if you're struggling to draw or find an art style, how you draw is unique to you and you'll like it one day

Just keep drawing everyday and you'll get there.

I suggest doing this challenge, on paper or digital, wether you color it or not, or post ot or not!

It's great to try out.

sorry if there are any grammar errors wrote this last night but forgot to post it

i only came on tumblr to read ppl's work, cuz one day i was bored and wattpad doesnt have that many good fics lol, so i came here. saw many amazing fics of ppl, that i really enjoyed. tbh the only reason i started to write was cuz i was bored 😭😭💀 like dawg im not lying, just woke up one day and was like "hmm let me write smth fr"😭😭 and thats what i did, i was like i'll delete it if it doesnt get many notes or smth

ok so basically I saw your post asking for prompts and I have been thinking for days about cat good omens . again. let me explain

so a while back I wrote a super fucking long cat omens fic (long for me at least) where they’re stray cats, it’s called strays on the street, almost 60k words. BUT in my head is ANOTHER CAT AU where they are warrior cats ok idk if you’ve ever read those books but there’s hundreds of them and they’re about clans of cats who fight and hunt and fuck and it’s crazy and not child appropriate. I was reading cats get mauled and give birth graphically in 2nd grade but anyway I WANNA READ THEM AS WARIROR CATS OR WRITE IT MAYBE?? Cuz all I’ve written is this snippet from my notes app from weeks ago

OH ABSOLUTELY. Warriors cats was my SHIT growing up, and sosososos many ideas I cannot thank you enough: I’ll link one of my fics below and I just started writing so they aren’t AMAZING but decent I think still!!! Ones about Angel Crowley finding inspiration for the entire universe after one (1) passing glance at a specific Angel and the other about Crowley struggling a bit after the fall, past angst but wings and fluff!!!

THOUGH I ABSOLUTELY GET ZERO STRAIGHT LINES OF THOUGH FELLOW ADHDER SO LEMME SEE IF I CAN RESPOND TO ALL OF THESE AKFKRLS

So basically I have also thought about warrior cats au before and BASICALLY

Crowley is a dark forest cat (kicked out like Ashfur) and Aziraphale is a Starclan cat!!!! Remember in the first books when they have to move from the original forest bc it was getting chopped down? Instead of moving, Starclan saw no way out of that and was like “what if they all just die instead than problem solved and we never have to worry about issues ever again?”

Crowley and Aziraphale are obviously like NO THATS A BAD IDEA and after an accidental meeting at the foggy border between Starclan and the dark forest, they are both elected by their respective forces to take over two clan’s medicine cat’s bodies and make sure that the 9 layers of Armageddon that Starclan is sending to wipe out the clans will go through. Instead, they try to thwart things while each dealing with clan life once again, and of course, shenanigans ensue!

Okay growing older I literally love the idea of as they drift further from their respective sides, they lose more and more of their ethereal powers, but it means they can be together and be left alone. While it’s a sacrifice that they’re both willing to make, it does come with some unintended side effects (mostly for Crowley; human bodies don’t tend to handle a million year free-style dives into pits of boiling sulphur too well) but they again find ways. Essentially a lot of fluff post-Armageddon’t and s2 in the South Downs Cottage????

And thirdly what if post S2, Crowley doesn’t really know what to do with himself but he’s PISSED. And there is no more “their” side, only Crowley’s side and he’s not exactly thrilled to be back alone. He has nothing else to do and he wants petty revenge, so he matched Aziraphale’s position as Supreme Archangel as a Duke Of Hell, mainly as an excuse to fuck with Aziraphale and make sure that Aziraphale won’t be able to forget about him any time soon, because Crowley certainly hasn’t thought about him.

AND TWO SPLIT ROUTES ONE ANGST ONE CRACK

1) With nobody left on Earth, Crowley and Aziraphale are out of the loop and before they realize it, the second coming had happened. Earth is dead, and Heaven and Hell are preparing for war once again. Meeting on the battlefields, each full of anger and with nothing left to go back to, what will happen? Either they fight and one accidentally wounds the other before they’re both like OH SHIT WAIT WAIT WAIT THIS IS STUPID MISTAKES HAVE BEEN MADE or one is hurt by the enemy side and found by the other; how do they stick together when no place is safe anymore?

OR NOT HORREDNOUS ANGST

2) Crowley finds out about the second coming, which he doesn’t think Aziraphale knows about, and vice Versa. Cue notes with ridiculous clues and stupid Spelling Things Out with random capitals to send a message, and completely obliviousness on both sides because they’re too desperate to get their own sides across that they don’t even stop to consider that the other may Also be trying to send a message. Cue increasingly grand gestures from both sides before Aziraphale shows up at Crowley’s office holding the Son of God, and they have to figure out how to stop the second coming while finding out ways to acknowledge the emotional damage they both still carry from their last meeting in the bookshop

Sailor x Siren writes itself: maybe shipwrecked Aziraphale finds Very Almost Miraculously Convenient things on this abandonded island that he’s trying to survive on, before one night he finds a certain someone repairing the broken boat little by little. They get scared off before they can talk but Azi leaves an offering back, and cue not-meeting-but-absolutely-communicating until actual meeting than bam! Eventually they both realize that there’s nobody getting him off this island and the ultimate choice for Aziraphale to drown and become a siren too, he takes the offer and is literally just held by siren!Crowley as he takes his last breath and a bit of suspense before BOOM REBORN HAPPY ENDING YIPEE!!

Than dating Furfur to cause jealousy, specifically knowing how similar the two can look, Crowley makes it VERY obvious that he’s complimenting and highlighting all the similar traits of Aziraphale but TO SOMEONE ELSE. Aziraphale refuses to directly confront but cue more and more aggressive signs from the heavens that try to break them apart that Crowley keeps spinning into good things. Aziraphale convinces Muriel child-of-divorce style to miraculously decorate the bookshop that Crowley had been living in to an EXTREME for Valentine’s Day, and Crowley spins it into ‘I did this myself’ for FurFur. Eventually, Aziraphale gets so spun up that he can no longer focus on the planning (or thwarting) of the second coming and gets so pissed with Crowley little shithead antics that he leaves the rambunctious 10 yo son of Christ at the door, with a small note reading something along the lines of ‘Fine, deal with this yourself than; PS this is Jesus!’ And the exact opposite silence, Crowley flailing to win Aziraphale’s good graces and communicate with him, handling Jesus, and dealing with some growing guilt after Furfur genuinely seemed to become attached. Not sure how this would end, but probably Crowley working through everything on his own, separate sides angst, alternating POV chapters, and they ultimately team up again to solve all the issues

Also for Parent trap Au: Muriel and the Bentley power-duo: Crowley’s depressed so Muriel can use the Bentley, and it drives Muriel places and hints at what to do next ect ect while Muriel figures out human stuff, romance, heaven, and after numerous failed attempts- a happy ending for the wonderous Mr.Fell and Mr.Crowley who had taken her in before!

Also Absolutely Dyslexic Crowley having pretended to just really hate books for the longest time, but Aziraphale eventually noticed that Crowley struggles to read menus and other stuff too- just poor eyesight and with knowledge being the root of the original sin, heaven found it quite ironic to block that in more than a few ways for the very demons who perpetuate sin! Confrontation, and eventually Crowley gives in and cue absolute fluff; Aziraphale reads and finds a new side of Crowley, who despite what he had spent many years convincing himself, actually ends up enjoying various things and even asking further questions and speculating and thinking about things (which Aziraphale is more than thrilled about to finally have someone to discuss with!)

Also I am currently on SOS Internet on the drive home, so I can’t risk opening a new webpage lest everything is risked but my Ao3 is LvndrLemonade! i HATE to insinuate that marina might be the villain of side order but like,,, i dunno guys...

ok so in this one developer interview (which was translated by rassicas) that i'll link at the end of this post something was mentioned about marina that was very interesting to me.

i'm not fully sure what this implies, but it shows that marina has the ability to go to a 'mysterious place' through 'mysterious connections' which when i saw this for the first time a while ago it immediately reminded me of side order. i know this is a direction that some people would hate for the dlc to go in,, but i really do think marina is in some way a villain. or at least her actions lead to something bad happening.

in the marina + marie + big man interview that comes with Splatune 3 (i'll link the wiki page at the end), marina says this:

first of all, pearl & marina had an argument?? pearl LEFT HER??? & marina couldn't get in touch with her?? damn that sucks? why did pearl do that. like actually thats so sad to me cuz. isnt that what marina is terrified of? & now she just laughed it off? i imagine that maybe this put marina into maybe a bad mental state because it would do the same to me tbh. & then marina starts talking about a world of order beyond our comprehension?? marina what are you talking about !!!!

at the very least, all of this is foreshadowing. but its just stated by her in a way that makes me think she doesn't just THINK that there is another world, but that she knows there is. she's been shown to have "mysterious connections" to a "mysterious place", she speaks of a world of order (the dlc is called side ORDER & has basically been confirmed to have something to do with team order iirc) , she wants to construct a new frontier with the power of art? i think it's also worth mentioning she once said something about designing her perfect world in the final splatfest from splatoon 2

why would marina be evil? i actually don't know. but she for sure has SOMETHING to do with the inkopolis square seen in the trailer for side order. also the whole reason she chose order was because she didn't want pearl to leave her, because they might fall apart, because pearl might get bored of off the hook. guess what happened!!! she did get bored. they did fall apart, even if just for a while. & while its never said how marina felt about this, i don't think it could've been good. i think she thought that if they were falling apart, maybe the world would too. maybe she thought she could design her world of order, & if she did that, everything would be fine, pearl wouldn't leave her again. maybe the world she designed is the white inkopolis square. maybe in her pain she was also manipulated by a much worse villain (i'm really hoping its not tartar. i would prefer lil judd seeing as if he isnt the villain the whole thing of him taking over grizzco & wanting to kill judd would be unresolved.) but marina is definitely morally grey in this dlc at best & the more i think about it, marina being the villain would be kinda cool? also i could be fully wrong & marina isnt evil she just thinks a world of order would be interesting but i like the villain marina theory

hey so ik saw that post about the panel where jouno is referred to as king of avidya and as a desi person that really really intrigued me. I did some really quick research cuz ik the antonym of that word which is 'vidya' it's a sanskrit word for knowledge and its a pretty common word but the word avidya is not something that is heard often. So I was wondering why he was referred to as that and what it means for him.

Basically I dont think it's used in a negative when referring to him? I don't think it was used in a way to insult him by calling him ignorant(?) Cuz mainly no one uses it like that and also idk the og japanese translation of that so don't mind me anyway.

Idk if you are desi or a hindu/Buddhist and neither am I an expert in indian religions but I did some but I did some research and found some pretty cool stuff

and here goes my rant sorry for infodumping on you

so vidya means knowledge avidya is the antonym of vidya it literally means ignorance, misconceptions or incorrect knowledge.

But this is mostly used in religious contexts (its not really used in non religious contexts and ive never heard any word in indian languages which is derived from it so thats why i found it interesting this is my first time hearing it actually) and its a key concept in indian religions including Hinduism and Buddhism. It's been mentioned in many religious texts.

Basically according to indian religions, avidya means ignorance in the context of metaphysical reality. The usage is different based on the religion.

In vedic literature, avidya means illusion, spiritual ignorance.

Hinduism considers denial or misconception of Atman(soul/self) as avidya (aka the primal ignorance of who we are) and Buddhism considers denial/ misconception An-atman(non-soul)(aka in sentient beings there is no permanent substance called a soul) as avidya.

And since bsd happens to have a lot of references hear and there to Buddhism regarding certain things and characters in the manga I wanna focus on Buddhism.

Basically it is the misconceptions of the basic essence of nature/reality.

In Buddhism. Avidya is the root cause of Dukkha(sanskrit for pain, suffering) is the first link to rebirth. (you could say that that's kinda a not good thing in Buddhism ig cuz)

[In Buddhism (and hinduism), it is believed that a living being once born dies and rebirth and so on this endless cycle is called Samsara and the main goal of a being in these religion is to stop this cycle and achieve salvation(called Nirvana not the band lol in Buddhism and moksha(hinduism) this is achieved by enlightenment of one's soul. Anyway I digress]. Removal of avidya causes to overcoming dukkha (which is part of the Four Noble Truths in Buddhism) the concept is sound in many Buddhist traditions and in most contexts it is specified to be the thing that bonds us to the endless cycles of life and death via dukkha and breaking this bond one can achieve Nirvana.

Buddhist teachings aims for cultivation of wisdom(idk what context in particular) so the ignorance ceases.

ANYWAY one thing I specifically wanna mention is the Twelve Link Of Dependent Origination (dvādaśāṅga-pratītyasamutpāda) also referred to as the Twelve Nidanas: they explain the Dependent Origination which is a key doctrine in Buddhism ig kinda means everything has been caused into existence. (Idk how to explain) kinda like "if this exists, that exists; if this ceases to exist, that also ceases to exist". Twelve links are the cyclic processes that explain the Dependent Origination they are: ignorance, mental formation, consciousness, name and form, the six senses, contact, feeling, craving, clinging, becoming, birth, and old age and death.

I'll only talk about the first one which is ignorance (avidya) and I've already explained in detail about it so I won't repeat all that BUT BUT GUESS WHAT

acc to the 12 links avidya is symbolized by a blind man or a man wearing a blindfold groping for his way with a cane.!!!! That's interesting cuz jouno is blind!!

That's very very interesting and i wonder how else it applies to jouno cuz we know even if he's blind his other senses, including his smell and hearing, are incredibly strong that allow him to sense people's body processes like perspiration, body temperature, muscle sounds, heartbeat, breathing, and even their resentment and inner emotions. This also enables him to "hear" the secrets of his targets and apparently he is also immune to illusions and he can also sense ones location by touching the ground and sensing it.

Basically he's very very aware of all the sense and everything around him but idk much about him or his personaltiy/analyzed in the past so I can't really say much but it does make me wonder what the parallels are. And his name "king of avidya" maybe there's something deep or maybe I'm just thinking too much and if it's connected in anyway to the irl author but I couldn't find anything about irl!jouno by a quick Google search wiki showed nothing anywho this is getting long already.

I'm soo sorry for the long rant I just needed to talk about it to someone, ik all this is complex and new and many things hear mightve gone over your head I tried my best in explaining it properly but I'm no scholar or teacher so it might not be best but again so sorry for wasting your space agian idk all the parallels btw jouno and the religious stuff maybe it ain't that deep idk lol but agian the context might change based on thebog Japanese word used for this and idk that but yeah.

oh my god this was just so interesting to read, and don't ever worry about it being too long i was fully immersed in it

you see, despite the fact that i found jouno being called "king of ignorance" funny, i agree that the liutenant probably wasn't using it to refer to jouno in an insulting way. i originally thought that "the king of avidya" was some sort of ironic nickname, considering jouno being blind but also being able to hear and understand many things about people despite that, even the way the feel.

but when i read your thoughts about it, it all became much more interesting.

if we look at the word avidya in a religious context, mainly Buddhism, it is the first base of the condition of life that gives way to other conditions such as "formation" or "consciousness", and first of the twelve links that chain us to "samsara", the life and death cycle that causes suffering, which we want to escape from by achieving "nirvana" (enlightenment).

Literally translating to "ignorance, misconception, false knowledge, not-seeing", avidya is understood as the basis of suffering (a root of all evil kinda way) and as you said, it is described as a blind man holding a cane, VERY interesing detail considering jouno is also blind as you pointed out.

basically it is the misunderstanding or ignorance of the basis of our existence, and the delusion of perceiving a "permanent self" in the ever changing nature of existence.

now, in the context of jouno.

him being called "the king of avidya", avidya as in "misunderstanding or ignorance of the basis of one's existence", it may refer to jouno misunderstanding his own nature. think of the cruel, sadistic monster originally he thought he was. he just "wants to hurt people in the name of the law, corner them, and hear the sound of their destruction", in his own words. but that may not reflect his true self at all.

remember the words of tecchou; "no one understands jouno. jouno is cold, but in his core, he's a hero that despises tyranny and wants to protect the weak." it may be true, and jouno may not even be realizing it.

and when it comes to avidya as in "the delusion of perceiving a permanent self in the ever changing nature of existence", think about the moment when he talked about the appreciation that one old lady showed him that day. he was deeply affected by it, and it is clear that the way he saw his job (and himself, to some extent) changed that day, "punishing the criminals" became "protecting the innocent". but even with all of that, one can argue that despite feeling so much different about it all and now craving appreciation more than causing suffering, deep down he still believes that his nature is not good, and falsely holds onto his past self despite everything, still thinking of himself as that criminal, that sadistic and cruel monster from six years ago, before fukuchi recruited him, thus holding onto a permanent yet false self in his head, despite the ever changing nature of his existence.

i hope all of that made some kind of sense, it's 2 am and i wrote all of this in a whim haha i just find jouno's character so intriguing and the possibility of this nickname revealing many more things about his character and this little rant we are having over it just has me excited

I actually saw both sides since part1 for the Jojo possible show

on twotter it was split FK fans tjinking it would he them and JS fans thinking it would be them

And here up until recently I saw people more sure it would be JS to bag it cuz it seemed Jojo had interacted with them quite a lot and even tho FK had that one clip they shot during OF time where First had a tattoo om his arm it had been so long that people seemed to think it didn't matter and JS got the show

Now we had that little interaction on IG for Jojo and Khao while JS said to fans that they might not have shows together for a while and to support their solo works(they seemed to have said it even in 2022 before LT announcement so maybe thats nothing)

So it's possible FK got the show with Jojo but we shall see

I still fear it might me none of them and Jojo will do it with some random actors that aren't a ship for the bl and the other show if he does have 2 be a lakorn with a straight main pair

Some in the fandom don't get me when I say ogCale and then post an art of Cale in Krs body, and apparently to majority, ogCale is Trash Cale or young Cale, while to me ogCale is just the same whether young Cale or Cale in Krs body later.

Or maybe they simply phrased the question wrong by mistake or as you said, enjoyed the fandom and hadn't read the novel or the Manhwa.

warning. eyestrain. if you're on max brightness and its 3 am proceed with causion. same if you hate a random dude on tumblr ramble for way to long. this includes more text then i care to admit.

icons of some hollow knight silksong characters except i really, and i mean really went overboard with special effects and other random stuff that mildly fits their character (and even that is somewhat questionable) to add as much eyestrain as i physically can and looks not bad. also i wanted to make more icons, but i lost interest and i really just wanna post something after no new art for like 2-3 weeks. also i used those custom pattens brushes to much and it shows.

this whole thing was me just wanting to draw trobbio once more and i thought 'why not an icon even though you've replaced your pfp not even a month', so i did. im not even gonna use it as a pfp, im just leaving it here and then i did the same for seth. and i spiraled from there.

trobbio is the only one without those outlines and it rally bothers me, but due to how i layered i cant fix it. it is what it is. also it makes it more flashy, and if someone here has a flashy icon its him.

seth's one is the least eyestrain one. but i like the darker tones, so im keeping it this way. honestly, might make it my pfp for a while. its probably my favorite one. yep, i peaked at the second one.

i was looking at references for sherma and saw someone drew him with those pink flowers and it was to cute not to steal. i forgot who made it, but just so you know: the flowers weren't my original idea.

this is my first lace icon. i dont really like it, so i made 2 for her. the only reason im posting it is cuz i've watd to much time on it.

and her's the second one. this one kinda mirrors hornet's icon. why? well good question dear viewer (or whatever you call someone who actually reads this (which if you do, thank you, i dont type these for nothing)). its because i can. also i still dont love how the second one came out. i guess not everyone can draw every character. partly due to her needle? sword? thing she fight with still has lines about as straight as i am, and likely she is as well. this is the one with the clearest use of a shape brush.

i hope hornets needle doesn't look thrown in, cuz thats exactly what i did. it was to kinda mirror lace's battle weapon and its kinda silvery and lace's is gold, and ok, you get it now. honestly, hornets one is one of my more favorites, even though the star brush is to obvious.

shakra's icon is ok. honestly, probably the least remarkable one. i dont really have anything interesting to add. ok 1 thing mildly interesting. i think this one took th longest to make the character for. thats about it really. and like lace, i can barely draw her. also why and how did i get worse at using star brushes? they weren't as obvious on the first few and on the last 3 it was clear as day. it is what it is i suppose.

also, before anyone asks, if you really, and i mean really somehow wanna use them, go ahead, credit is appriciated, though not needed. just dont say you made them alright. or do. idk why you wanna claim these are yours though, but i lack the ability to care, nor come after you irl. but please dont do it, its kind of an asshole move imo. if you still do, i guess i cant stop you, though if you steal art im just gonna assume you're kind of a prick to be around. also i still have enough material to make a part 2 (like carmlita and forg daughter). but im busy making other stuff rn.

i finally saw the barbie movie yesterday with my bf and best friend

while cute and fun and i liked the plot a lot, i think it falls victim to something I've seen a few modern movies fall victim to, and that's very unnatural dialogue randomly thrown in in order to say/teach a message but it just always feels so unnatural when delivered (by no fault of the actors) and comes across as someone quoting a twitter post or lecturer's powerpoint. And with that said, i see why so many ppl were calling Barbie the feminism 101 movie. Because half of the dialogue feels like it was ripped straight from a feminist activist's twitter page rather than natural dialogue you could imagine coming from 2 actual people talking irl. Like i understand it's a movie so not every movie is going to have "natural" speech patterns, sure, BUT i also shouldn't feel like the characters are speaking like my old sociology professors giving a lecture from my women's studies courses lol.

I first saw this weird dialogue stuff happen in The Blackening, a black horror comedy movie, and didn't think too much about it considering it was an indie movie and all and it was only a few times, but when huge budget movies like BARBIE is having these weird twittery "chronically online" type of speech patterns thru the entire movie I think it's time to point it out and question it a lil bit. Because you know once a billion dollar movie like barbie did it it's definitely going to become a trend. I just? I feel like there's better ways to put a message into a movie without feeling like I'm in my college lecture halls again with how academic they talk. And this is ALSO why so many conservatives try to trash on things like this simply because it's low hanging fruit to pick apart because they're using terms they know they dont like and won't bother to actually learn the message being said because they used words like feminism and patriarchy thru the entire thing. So the ppl that need to hear/learn the feminism 101 messages will blalantly refuse to learn it simply because of the language used and the way they spoke you know?

Idk. Sorry for the rant. Barbie truly was a good movie but the dialogue just truly did bother me with how unnatrual and weird it was to me. And? Idk like ik they're dolls and a lot of the movie is supposed to give the "kids playing with dolls" feel, but once they're in the real world that doesn't rly apply i think? And also a lot of things felt like they were playing in jepoardy in a way? Like once barbie said "i feel afraid without any direct thing to be afraid about" and a random mom walked by and she said "that's anxiety!". Like what 😭 that feels like a jeopardy question not a human interaction! I understand she was only in the real world for a few hours at that point but still?? This was almost a repeating pattern of speech as well and i just??? Maybe its because i used to write a lot in my early 20s and teens and it was very dialogue based fanfics so maybe thats why its bothering me *especially* cuz it was a hobby of mine for so long but i just... i just rly hope this kinda speech pattern of dialogue doesn't catch on. I don't need movies to all feel like every human interaction came off twitter instead of genuine humans communicate irl 🥲

@ anon 1: oooooOOHH WAIT R U THE ANON who asked me this question months back for headcanon's on luke's illness? if yes, hi again! and RIGHT RIGHT YESSSS MORE INFORMATION AND ESCALATING SYMPTOMS AND U TOTES CALLED IT. i love it, it's a double edged sword of enjoyment cuz on one hand im so satisfied seeing a progression of his illness finally after it being in limbo for the longest time but...

on the other hand....

the arm thing was such a nice detail. nerve damage does a Lot and it was very satisfying to see it escalate from pain episodes (i.e. nerves firing the wrong kinda signals) to an entire limb's momentary loss of sensation/motor skills (i.e. nerves just....NOT firing signals at all for a moment)

i mentioned in that previous linked ask that ive also got a neuro condition (not severe just annoying), so more symptoms i'd like to see (or if it doesnt happen in canon, fun for fanfic to play around with) from luke's illness progression would be the following: involuntary movement (i.e. nerves firing the wrong kinda signals but in the motor skills department), nerve issues in other extremities (ive had involuntary movement issues hit one of my legs while sitting and i just spasm'd outta my seat), and nerve problems exacerbated by stress (also common for me, the more freaked i am the more common a bunch of these get....sORRY I REALIZE IM JUST OFFLOADING ALL MY OWN SYMPTOMS ONTO LUKE AHAHAHAA), and troubles with finer motor skills (use of fingers, hands, wrists. luke handles weapons often....whatd happen if his grip strength went awry when hes holding a knife? a gun? many thoughts)

the nervous system is weird and complicated. seeing this new neurodegenerative symptom from luke feels very much like the beginning of more to come. also, luke needs a hug. he needs so many hugs. and more medical treatment thats not just "the strong pill [painkiller]" that luke called aaron for in that one scene, LUKE PLEASE JHDVJFHSD. OTL

@ anon 2: IT'S SO NOT A BAD THING AT ALL IM ALSO RLLY GLAD TO SEE THIS, as i write in the first portion of this response. like, it's not that we Want to see luke in pain and fearing his illness getting worse and worse, it's that the illness has been here since the beginning and it is beyond satisfying to see it no longer be something static, for it to change and affect the story, affect luke's character and how he interacts with others.....

i also totally dont want him magically cured JHVDFJSDVFK like, with how much Worse it's gotten, his recovery has to take into account how hard the journey has been thus far, both narratively and medically. i uh. um. [VERY VERY VAGUE SPOILERS FOR CN SERVER AHEAD but] i saw a spoiler from future main story 12 that definitely shows that luke is not magically cured at that point and is getting worse

so, HELL YEAH, BIG WIN FOR PEOPLE WHO WANNA SEE THIS PROGRESS!! but also //loud sobbing

huge HUGE agree that luke's illness and chronic symptoms are nice to see from a representation perspective. when the arm thing happened while i was playing i was first like "OMG WE'RE TWINNING!!!" and then i was like "OH NO" jashfvKJHVKJHK

my hopes for luke's illness eventually becoming a have-to-longterm-manage-this-for-the-rest-of-his-life-but-it-wont-kill-him chronic condition is still very true. it's something i have a lot of feelings about

i just dreamt of a super mario bros movie that started with me (looking like joker), walking around a rainy cornfield, when batman grabbed me by my neck, and told me “you need to assemble the super mario brothers” and then punched me so hard i goes into another universe

i was greeted by an elevator, and then i noticed some dangling spheres that looked techy as i arrived in a city, and they were dangling onto nothing, but i just didn’t use them anyway cuz there was nothing to use it for (yet ;>)

then i entered a food court with a supermarket, and saw my best friend and her pokemon, voltorb. i told her we need to check something out outside, and then she accepted it, but first she thought she had to go to a car, that has the driver seats facing the back seats for some reason??? but then we told her that we aren’t going there and we are just investigating these techy sphere thingies. i was trying to open the thing until she had a call from her mother and left me and voltorb investigating

i was still trying to open it until voltorb ate the thing and it spit out a second voltorb! my bff was still in the call but i instantly chased her to tell her about what voltorb found, until i realized she was on the other side of the road… voltorb ate another sphere, and it spit out a peashooter from pvz garden warfare specifically !! i grabbed the peashooter and then went after my best friend, who just put their phone down. “look what i got :D” i said, as i held the peashooter while it shot fireballs out of its mouth. “OHHH THATS SO COOOL, VOLTORB MADE THAT???” and then i grabbed her hand and led her to voltorb, which was eating a lot of spheres and spit out characters such as yoshi from super mario and a blue koopa

i had no idea why that dream told me that was a mario movie…

They are the best parents in their respective age group. They deeply love and support inojin which is so cute and they love each other. I cant believe we got a scene with Sai lying in Ino's lap like we are so blessed.

Sai deserves love. Ino deserves support post war. They can deal with it together, be there for each other. Sai can learn a lot about expression from her, Ino can help him on his way to becoming more like the self he wants to be, not the one he was told to be.

Sakura needed healing and love after being almost murdered by the guy she harboured so many feelings for and Lee would absolutely provide that. DAY 11, 12, 13 OF 90 DAY OF PRODUCTIVITY

Yup more late posts. :')

Day 11/90 : 29th September 2023

I don't remember much about this day but my yeolpumta says that I did a bit of math. My older tumblr post also says i tried coming up with a plan on how to deal with the subjects. Now, I just have to implement it.

Day 12/90 : 30th September 2023 (saturday)

I woke up late today :) My first class (8-8:50; Engineering Graphics) had been cancelled so i calmly woke up at 7 and did some random things for a while. I felt too lazy to bath so i thought i'll just bath after my second and last class for the day (9-9:50; Gen Physics). I ate breakfast peacefully and went to class. I managed to concentrate well in class which was something I loved.

I had received a mail that Engineering Graphics lab makeup (makeup = giving you another chance in case you were absent to one of the labs for any valid reason. I was absent because I was sick back then) would be held from 4 pm to 6 pm (actually only 5:30 cuz they start evaluating by then). I went and successfully did my drawings (I have no idea how; i suck at eg). Also I got a perfect score. :) I came out and prepared myself to walk to the mess for snacks (pasta) and connected my bluetooth and opened my phone (phones not allowed inside lab) to see about 5 missed calls from my father and 6 msised calls from mother and i panicked. :'D

I immediately called father and asked him wahts up and he said "Nothing I just called many times cuz you weren't picking up" I told him about the lab and as I made my way out of the building through the fire exit (there was no fire, just that the closest staircase is the fire exit staircase which also has an exit from the academic block) I saw a car that resembled ours outside. o.o It also had the sticker we have on ours so on going closer i saw my father :) YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW I FELT LIKE I JUST WENT TO HIM HE GOT DOWN AND I STARTED CRYING

My uncle was there too. Apparently ma and my aunt had gone somewhere looking for me. We all had snacks together and spoke for a while then even had dinner after which they left.

So like, my parents were the best part of the day. I could never forget this.

Day 13/90 October 1st 2023

Big dayy

This was mostly notes though. I was really tired and feeling lazy and only bathed in the evening. I also skipped lunch and snacks. Plus none of my friends were in the hostel so it felt kinda boring. Anyways thats it!!
