Ok giving Bob a bj and it’s maybe your first time doing it or your first few times, either way ur new at it..but you are doing so much, like hands, mouth, almost too much effort…more calculated. Like your hands are moving from balls to dick and lower stomach and over again. Like in an order, And Bob is just “take a breath babe” and he sees how you’re trying all these different things at once and it’s not really working.. until it clicks that you probably googled how to give good head and are trying to do everything at once. He’s definitely flattered that you’d even research this kind of thing..but he looks down at your face and you are more focused on remembering everything than actually enjoying it. He definitely goes on a mission to teach you how to give head without doing what the internet said 😂 Like he looks down at ur face and your expression is just “gotta look doe-eyed but move my hand there and then gotta do that for 10 seconds then move on” like it’s more mechanical than passionate..he’s such a sweetheart like “the internet is full of shit and you don’t need to work that hard”
he could tell you weren't enjoying yourself. you were much too focused on trying to make him feel good, trying to take all of him into your mouth, your hands hastily running over what you couldn't fit. but bob was going to have none of it. "baby, stop," he spoke. immediately, you pulled off of him, your eyes wide and brimming with anxiety. "did i do something wrong?" you asked. bob's face softened, and he reached out, gently stroking his big hand over your jaw. "you're not enjoying yourself, are you?" came his gentle question. at that, your brow furrowed in confusion. "i...i'm trying to make you feel good, not me," you replied.
he shook his head. "If you're not enjoying it, there's no point." he pulled you up so that you were sitting in his lap. "when i eat your pretty little pussy, i get so much pleasure out of it. i love tasting you, i love the sounds you make. i love watching you squirm. you should enjoy what you're doing, otherwise there's no point. i don't want you stressing yourself out trying to be perfect at sucking me off," he explained softly. you sighed, letting your head rest upon his shoulder. "i was just trying out all these tips i read online. i guess they don't work."
he guided your head back up so you'd look at him. "you don't need to go on the internet for that stuff. let me guide you, sweet girl. i'll show ya how to make me feel good." at that, you nodded. "okay. guess i should have asked you first instead of going to google," you said. bob smiled, fingers tapping lovingly at your nose. "you wanna start again, or do you wanna try another time?" you considered his words before you shyly said, "wanna start again." he hummed in agreement, and then guided you down to your knees again. you took a deep breath, allowing yourself to sink back into that pleasurable headspace.
bob carefully instructed you on how to start again, and you began to mouth at his cock, kissing down the shaft before you wrapped your lips around the pink, shimmering head. "that's it, honey, nice and slow. don't take too much yet, just take as much as you're comfortable with. there you go. good girl." his praise was constant as you became more sure of yourself, and soon, you were made privy to his breathless sounds of pleasure and need, and it only spurred you on. you did your best, and listened to his instruction, and when his spend spilled into your mouth a while later, you couldn't help but beam with pride at the sight of him so fucked out above you. "made me feel so good, darlin'. love you so much."

ok, another Levi x male reader thought is that the reader excelles in using 3d maneuver gear. and everyones like 'omg, they must be so focused on everything they need to do, they must be doing a lot of calculations to make sure their being precise' but no. They got no thoughts going through their head.
and like, they don't correct anyone. they don't wanna know what others would think if they said 'yeah, Idk how I'm at the top of my class, I just like moving around fast'
But maybe Levi can tell?? Cuz like, he's probably constantly making observations. And maybe one day their making their way to their usual isolated seat in the mess hall when either Hange or Erwin call them over to discuss something w them. Idk what, maybe hange has an experiment they want help with or erwin has something to ask ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe fluff, and mayhaps sput if you can figure out how to work it in there??

A Whole New Light
Warnings: fluff, hurt/comfort, near death experience, minor angst
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x Male Reader
Word Count: 1.2k
You had always been the top of your class, you couldn't remember when that happened. One day, you were struggling with learning the gear and the next… You were just soaring. It confused your commandant but… You never gave it too much mind. Why would you? You had heard it all.
"He must be cheating."
"Who taught him how to do that?"
"How much does he practice?"
Those sentiments were the most common. You didn't even know how to explain that you simply enjoyed it. So, here you were. With those who had originally met you years ago in the Cadet Corps and even new ones that had already been in the Scouts. You flew through the air, all your anxieties and worries melting away as if they never existed in the first place. As if on autopilot, your body twisted and moved, wires guiding your body. You flew past several titan dummies, slicing out the cushion napes on the crude wooden figures. The feeling of being able to forget your stresses was one that was desperately needed this time, even as you could still feel so many eyes on you. Old ones, new ones. Did it really matter?
No.
You decided. That it didn't really matter. You were alive and that was what really mattered.
At the end of it, you landed with a roll. Honestly, it was more so you crashing to the ground. You just laid there, on your back, eyes staring up through the trees and at the ever so slightly cloudy sky. Those clouds looked like big, fluffy pillows to you. A shadow crossed over you, prompting you to sit up and look up at the person who's shadow had disrupted your rest. Your eyes fell on the short form of the one and only: Captain Levi. You scrambled to your feet and curled your arms into a salute.
"Sir!" You greeted.
"Tch. Calm down." Levi scoffed.
You nodded, settling your arms at your sides and letting the tension fade away from your muscles. He seemed to see something about you that no one else had. It unnerved you, if you were being completely honest. Levi only nodded, walking away to instruct another cadet to go back through the titan dummy course. You sighed, turning towards the training grounds. Sure, you liked flying but… It only seemed to add another stressor into your life this time so maybe sparring would help you this time.
Evidently, it hadn't helped. You, apparently, were not very skilled at sparring. Especially when the question was you against one of the new cadets, Reiner.
"Damn… He's built like a mountain." You grumbled as you made your way to your typical corner, the soreness deep in your muscles. You sat down at the table, staring down with an exasperated sigh. Just as you had sat down pretty much, a voice beckoned your name. You looked up, meeting the blue eyes of your commander. You stood, walking across the mess hall and sitting down, uneasy as you glanced to Levi.
"Your skills with the ODM gear are commendable, cadet." Erwin complimented, which prompted you to perk up, "We'd like you to undergo some particularly exclusive training with Levi."
You looked at the man, face paling. You had heard about how brutal his training regiment was. Levi's face gave nothing away, only standing with a nod.
"I'll see you at six am sharp." Levi stated, walking off.
Hange laughed, "You'll do great! He knows what limits are!" You looked up at them, nodding. They ended up distracting themself with Miche, talking about something you weren't paying attention to. You felt your mouth go dry as you settled your gaze on your hands.
I am dead. I'm dead. He's going to kill me and I will have died!
Your thoughts were dramatic, you were pretty sure. After all, wasn't it just training? What's the worst that could possibly happen?
—
As it turns out, the worst was being undeniably sore and feeling your muscles all but give up on you. You laid there in the dirt, the short captain staring down at you with, what looked like at least, the ghost of a smile spread across his lips. You blinked rapidly, staring up at him as he offered his hand. You took it, feeling him pull you to your feet.
"Not bad, brat." Levi commented.
You perked up at what seemed to be praise. From Humanity's Strongest, no less. However, that was dashed away without a moment's notice as he continued.
"Unlike your other captain, however, not bad isn't actually good enough. Go again."
You groaned, letting the hooks bury themselves into the nearby tree that started the forest and took off. Levi's steel grey eyes followed your form, observing the almost clumsy way you zipped through the trees. Now being forced to actually put thought into it, you weren't nearly as agile and graceful. You could feel his eyes on you, watching carefully. You landed on a branch, adjusting your gear and posture before taking off again. This time, you stubbornly kept at it. In fact, you were so stubborn about it, in fact, that you forgot about Levi. Well, Levi and your gas. After hours of this, who could blame you?
Well, Levi could without a doubt. You were certain of that. The feeling of suddenly falling back was alarming, your mouth gaped open in what was meant to be a scream but in your horror, you had no air in your lungs to scream. The tears filled your eyes, heart racing a million miles per hour. You had only meant it dramatically when you said you were going to die.
The feeling of suddenly soaring didn't really register even as you clung to the man who caught you. Hell, it barely registered as he landed on the ground and you practically threw yourself to the ground. You were full on sobbing now, clenching your fists around the grass. Levi crouched beside you, watching you curl up on the grassy ground.
"Hey. Brat." Levi whispered, keeping his voice quiet and low on purpose, "You did good."
You looked up through your tear filled gaze, not making many details of Levi's face out due to your blurry vision. You quieted for a moment before almost bitterly laughing, it was manic in a way.
"You- you-" you rolled over on your back and slapping a hand over the left side of your face, another laugh leaving your lips.
He wasn't even blaming you a little.
Levi sat beside you, taking in your every detail. He had to question, what exactly intrigued him so much that he had been blind to your limits? Well, your gear's limits.
"... Praise doesn't suit you, Captain." You finally spoke.
Levi let out a soft chuckle, "I guess it doesn't, brat, but you earned it."
You perked up, rubbing at your eyes before sitting up and taking in Levi. A new perspective to your observations. You were seeing him in an entirely new light. It seemed, he was seeing you differently too. You wanted to try something, standing up and offering him your hand like he had you before. Levi scoffed but took your outstretched hand, feeling you pull him up. Emboldened by whatever fear was still clutched tight around you, you leaned forward and pressed a kiss against his cheek before running off.
"See you tomorrow, Captain!" You called out to him.
Levi stood there, staring after you in shock. The surprise on his face melted into a fondness.
"Yeah, brat, see you tomorrow." Levi whispered with a smile that was soft, loving yet barely there.

I would like to hear about eldritch family relationships, yes!
Also I mostly asked that because I was wondering if at any point ink nearly broke errors hand and cursed his name while he was delivering the twins. It sounds like it wasn’t that bad for him tho.
So the twins were born into the multiverse, and at the same time their eldritch forms were off chilling in eldritch land?
What was error and ink’s introduction to the concept of ‘the deed’? Did ink just see some AUs where people did it and thought he’d give it a try?
You don't know how much you made my day! Okay, I'll leave the ramble about the Errorink family for last, under a read more
As for the rest, I think Error's hand is fine lol. I recently read how @askfriskandcompany thinks about skeleton pregnancy on the side stories, and I think it's something I will start incorporating in my own headcanons: basically, after the deed, skeletons don't form ectobodies, but they have something that is described as a "bubble", floating stomach-height thanks to magic, in which the little skeleton grows and grows until it pops and here's the baby (almost all other monsters are super jealous, they have to go into labour). So, it's kinda like an egg? Super cool worldbuilding and makes sense (why go through all the trouble of making a body for 9 months? Nature is energy efficient).
And yeah, that's basically it: as already stated, Ink, Error and the kids have bodies, but they're more like avatars (actually, kinda like in the Avatar Movie, where the body is there, but if it breaks the soldiers wakes up in a pod).
Ink already knew about sex from when he first examined Gaster's mind before creating the Multiverse: basically, everything that Gaster knew, consciously or subconsciously, Ink also knows, and then he used Gaster's presence to peek inside the Original Undertale and get all kinds of details Gaster couldn't possibly know.
And now, Errorink family!
I and @stargazeraldroth have quite a few headcanons regarding Errorink, PJ and Gradient in general, and those tend to transfer in most works, so this is valid for Eldritchtale, but also usually for any of my other works.
The first thing is PJ and Gradient's personality and powers: PJ and Gradient are both similar and opposites in a lot of ways. Physically, PJ looks more like Ink, while Gradient looks more like Error, but this doesn't reflect exactly in their personality.
PJ is surly, rude and sarcastic, so personality-wise they're a lot more similar to Error than they are to Ink, and this includes their propension to destruction and violence rather than creation and art; Gradient, meanwhile, is soft-spoken, shy, socially awkward, a rather talented artist and a bit of a people-pleaser, so he got Ink's personality more than Error's.
(In many other AUs, I always headcanon that, if Error and Ink were to die/retire, PJ would become the next Destroyer and Gradient the next Protector for this reason).
However, if we go deeper, we can see that PJ cares a lot about things, that they're very loyal and driven, even if they can be impulsive (this is Ink's side coming through); following the same reasoning, Gradient is nice, but he can be calculating and obsessive, and even cruel if push comes to shove (this is all Error).
To explain with an example, if PJ wants revenge on you, they'd probably just shout at you or beat you up if you deserved it, but then they'd let it go; Gradient, on the other hand, would probably act nice to your face and then hit you were it hurts when you least expect it.
Basically, PJ is the brawns and Gradient is the brains.
In terms of powers, both kids can use either creative or destructive powers, though they each prefer one side (Gradient creation, and PJ destruction), but they also have another type of power: PJ has power over time, while Gradient has power over space. So, PJ can create time loops, go forward and bacwards in time a bit, see different branches in timelines, while Gradient can teleport effortlessly through the Multiverse better than anyone else, create portals linking places together, make pocket dimensions.
(@stargazeraldroth wrote a throwaway line in a story about PJ and Gradient working together to create a never ending corridor as a prank by combining their powers, and I think this sums up their relationship perfectly).
All of this to kinda contextualize, what is their relationship with each other and their parents?
The twins are very close, best friends, and together they're an unstoppable tag-team (if they decide you're dead, you're dead); whevener they fight, it's always resolved quickly, and there's no hard feelings.
Regarding Ink, both kids are mama's boys: very affectionate with Ink, just as protective as their dad. PJ is a bit louder about it ("What did you say to my mom?!") but Gradient is a bit more proactive ("Oh my, you tripped? How unlucky..."). Ink the one that also disciplines them more often, because Error doesn't care about the mess they make inside the Multiverse as long as it doesn't affect him lol. Gradient is a bit closer with Ink, because he shares similar interests, while PJ will willingly spend time with Ink painting, but doesn't enjoy it themselves.
Error is a bit more hands off, but it doesn't mean he loves the kids any less: he rarely tells them he loves them or that he's proud, but he knows and remembers everything they tell him/talk about, and gives them thoughtful gifts taking those things into account. When he spends time with Gradient, it's them together in silence doing things they both enjoy, while with PJ it's a bit meaner, but the fun kind ("You ready, brat?" "bring it on, old man!").
One last thing that Error and PJ both share? Their dislike of Dream lmao, because given his upbringing, he developed some confusing feelings for Ink: the poor guy idolized Ink from a young age, so he's in-between wanting a parental bond with him and having a crush, and neither option is something Error or PJ like, despite the fact that Ink would never replace either of them with Dream. Ah, they're jealous, what can you do?
All in all, they're very close and happy together.

Honor and Glory (p1)
You liked porridge with fresh berries. It really wasn't anything to note. Inconsequential... he wasn't even sure why he remembered it. It wasn't like it was something you'd talked about with any frequency. Just a quick throwaway comment when discussing something or another. A complete waste of brainspace.
He supposed it was a bit charming though.... Er... enchanting, as you'd so eloquently told him once.
"Y'know, Neb," You'd said looking up from your enchanting table. "There are those that find me quite enchanting." You'd given him a heavily exaggerated wink, and not for the first time, he was glad you couldn't see his face.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't put you out of your misery." His tone had been bland, mocking, but he could feel just a little bit of heat on his cheeks. Probably not even enough to notice... except that he did.
That damn, oblivion cursed stirring.
What a dumb thing to remember.
Besides, that wasn't what Gariil had asked. He'd asked if you could be trusted.
Nebarra nodded, and now that he knew the possibilities before them, there was no way you wouldn't understand....
The door creaked, and though he couldn't hear your footsteps, he knew it had to be you. There was no way a few measly ghosts could best you.
But as he turned and met your eyes, the normal, pleasant look that you'd cultivated, the mask you wore, was gone; Replaced by an unreadable expression.
You would understand.
You had to understand.
He would make you understand.
"That look on your face.... What are you thinking?"
"What's all this about moving Solstheim?" Your voice was level, a quick glance cast over to Gariil. "What are you planning?"
Nebarra swallowed down the sinking feeling in his chest. "I'm not going to pretend that I know how this all works, but this place sits on top of an enormous magicka deposit. The snow elves tapped into it and there's something like a chess board of all of nirn to move this island around. The only thing is that the tiles are stuck-"
"So all of Solstheim is like a pawn? Don't they have a choice?" There was something dark and calculating behind your eyes. Something that both chilled him and set his blood ablaze.
"Many don't have a choice." He spat. "The Empire won't be keen on invading knowing this island could fall on their heads."
"And you think that giving that power to the Thalmor is a good idea? You know as well as I do that they'll use it offensively to conquer even further!"
"They'd be foolish to do it. Such a strike would unite Tamriel against the Dominion."
"And you really think that moving an entire island, out of the blue, against everyone's wishes, won't exacerbate already high tensions?"
"I doubt it'll spark a war." He wanted to wave you off, but he could see the way your glace flitted to his sword arm and they way his hand rested on the hilt. "But Gariil can explain everything when they come to investigate."
"Why do you want this so badly?"
"We weren't..."
The sound of Camia's chuckle cut short. The smell of blood. Ravens scavenging on the gore.
He took a steadying breath.
"We weren't strong enough to beat the Redguards." And while his voice didn't crack, it did tremble for a moment. Your eyes softened as you looked at him, taking a small step forward, hand raised as though to touch him and he immediately withdrew.
"Neb...."
Why couldn't you just call him the slur he was.
"You know this plan is madness. Please stop."
"I'm the one trying to stop a war without killing a single person. And you say this is madness?"
Maybe there truly wasn't any hope for you at all.

Might explain the weird look on her face... Besides screaming we don't need this lesson and it all laughing I'll send the police came in and he said did you see a yellow car go through here and said yeah I said are you supposed to be bothering it and I'm on it I said no I said why are you doing it and it was a couple clones Billy z and a couple idiots and yeah Trump and that was and and it was Dan and Trump and Dan said we're just doing it for fun and the clones are silent I said what are you doing it for I said business and who is he said the business so what kind of business is that make him s*** before date make him s*** during the date trying to scare him or pick him up or something you don't say legal right and he said no listen they think of sub the curse some liquor or something and he said what the hell is this you're holding things against us and he says were like the animals we can't help it. It's right there at the exit he was at so Jen said what is this that's the same old same old it's very intense in that I think that we need to study this forms and idiots they are blaming us for everything and they might be this huge group of very dangerous people trying to arrest me and you and she went into it you have to lunch and she helped you we find out it's true they're way too big to be doing this and we figured out that they're all blaming us for voices and stuff today they're going sometimes it echoes I know we're inviting it and it was terrible no talking about it out loud I'm hearing it echo now it's saying you seen it out loud all over the world out in the open so it required after a while this is a nightmare. So they went around and you're trying to move couldn't do it, started grabbing it is but for real they keep doing this behavior over and over and I've had enough of it your little kids and they're running his life into the ground and you're not going to get s*** and they can't resist forms at all for each other you need to leave and luckily this war is going to get rid of you
Thor Freya
Gross. I'm glad you got through it it's not allowed to keep messing with you but he says I'm going to get through it and they're probably going to take the crap all the time every time they go somewhere the diet changes in the body can't take it and I do agree with him that was him the last sentence that really they go around they eat these things an awful food they prep for each other cuz I hate each other and they should their brains out and it's constantly happening this mess is in the toilets always and people are trying to hire a robots now and we send them out we have tons of them they clean up all the time so terrific service it's like this module and you bolt it down in a room that's set aside for them and they go into it and pick up charge and they come out and clean every so often it looks like those small robots like pepper but with legs you're not very big they're like 4 ft tall or even a little shorter and they're not large or small everyone thinks I can kick their ass. We have people challenging them all the time. Any report them and stuff to police and they don't do anything you guys don't want to clean s*** up here and you don't want to sit and s*** so they laughed and said not really so they started enforcing it so people won't do it and find out that these small lock are so scared they can't do anything and they're around them and that's what they keep saying and really they want to fight with the robot to try and capture it but that's what the cops want so and incident where one of the employees kept grabbing the robot and inappropriately and kept happening and it wasn't my robot or my husband but it's he's doing it and doing it and we said what is he doing we know how to stop it. Is grabbing there and he's saying stupid things and threatening to do it elsewhere so let me try to find out where and we got tons of them using I did it all over the place. You people will say stuff to my husband all the time, means that tons of orders pull them all out everyday it's a labor of love let's say I can't stand it because the volume is very high and we're not keeping up and so I tried a few things that I'm saying there's too many there's too many and they get saying we know we know I said there's too many they were sending troops in he started yelling at me this is too many what are we going to do nothing I sit here and take it like a man you don't have to I'm going to hire more people today and get on the horn and tell them to get their asses in there and sign up how have you tell him Stanley so Thor says he got on the line and Freya and said get in there and sign up huge droves signed up. That's written it down, it's going on inside his head is they're trying to get me to manipulate people no matter what and you said it and he's tired. That's okay stop trying to manipulate with evil stuff just trying to get people to self motivate and it's part of the plan to get the leaders self-starters and people think a little independently
Hera
Zues

𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬
pairing: percy jackson x child of zeus!reader and jason x older sibling!reader
requested: yes!
warning: two curse words, mentions of stealing, death of a parent, and i believe that is it!
category: headcanons, fluff
a/n: i may have gotten too carried away but... i had a lot of fun writing this haha. i hope you guys like it!
Tumblr media
pre-relationship
you and percy invented the phrase power couple but coming together took a while
your relationship dynamic would be very similar to thalia and percy's at first
you're both natural-born leaders, so you guys butt heads very often
you're more calculated and organized when it comes to things and percy being impulsive really annoyed you
he's lucky that even though he is impulsive, things somehow always work out in the end
if it wasn't for annabeth urging you guys to get along, you probably would still be at each other's neck
how did she get you guys to get along, you may ask?
she locked you guys in a storage closet :)
and said figure it out ♡
this happened after a friendly sparring practice turned into a full-on fight with your powers
annabeth insisted she wouldn't let you guys out until you declared to be friends
at the time, you were like, percy will never be my friend, ew
percy was just as annoyed
after a good hour of bickering and resisting your urge to choke him out
you guys found that you had a lot in common, actually?
huh, who would have known?
apparently annabeth
you guys talked about your life outside of camp and bonded over the worst teachers you've ever had
turns out, percy wasn't that bad
you'd never admit that out loud though
after a while, you started to feel things
were percy's eyes always that pretty?
yes, they've always been
oh look, those freckles over his nose? adorable
did you just call Percy adorable? yeah, you did… gross
you tried to deny your attraction to him
you were pretty sure this was a cruel joke from aphrodite (it was… more for your dad's than for you guys, though)
then you started noticing changes in his behavior too
now you guys were sharing blankets at the campfire when it got chilly
he even shared the blue cookies his mother sent him too
that's when you should have known he was down bad
both of you have awful sleep schedules
you hated sleeping in cabin 1
it was clearly built not to be slept in, and every few days, you found yourself having late-night conversations with percy at the docks
once the harpies snuck up on you and percy told you to get in the water with him
you didn't know how to swim, and you were kinda horrified of open water
you wanted to refuse, but you were cornered on the docks
you either jumped or got eaten
the last thing you said was that you couldn't swim before percy didn't give you a choice
he grabbed your hand and jumped in
his arm wrapped around your waist to keep you in the air bubble he had made around you guys
at first, you didn't focus on it
too busy trying to defend yourself from his teasing
he continued to mimic the way you screamed when he dragged you into the water
"wow, you can fly, but you can't swim?"
you rolled your eyes, trying to defend yourself
you called him annoying, and he playfully threatened to let you drown
you guys joked and laughed, staying a little too long underwater
after your laughter ceased, you found yourself looking into his eyes
the both of you became quiet
suddenly his arm around your waist, the way your chests were pressed against each other made you horribly flustered
and you're not sure what you were thinking
actually, you weren't thinking at all, but you leaned in and kissed him
like really kissed him, it was a proper kiss
ahhhhhh!!!
probably would have kissed him longer if the water nymphs didn't giggle, exposing their little audience
once you pulled away, they scattered, ready to gossip about what they saw
the news made it to atlantis pretty fast
after the kiss, things were so awkward
you avoided him for days, and he avoided you
annabeth felt the tension, and she was upset because just when you guys were getting along, suddenly, you guys were avoiding each other
the battle of manhattan was approaching soon and the last thing anyone wanted was for you guys not to get along
you both avoided annabeth’s questions, not ready to confess what you guys had shared
eventually, annabeth kept pressing you about what happened
you blew up and admitted that you made out with percy in the water
annabeth was speechless before she burst into laughter
you didn't understand why it was so funny at first
but then you did
the both of you laughed until annabeth said that she wasn't surprised at all
the battle of manhattan comes around, and in the urgency of the moment, you guys were able to rise to the occasion
your movements, thoughts, commands were completely coordinated
you guys were an extension of each other, kicking ass
at the end, you were both offered immortality
the offer took you back to a conversation you guys had where you spoke about how you'd never want to be immortal
the both of you exchanged looks before you simultaneously denied the gift
zeus was offended x2
after that, you guys returned to camp half-blood
the both of you were upset at the campers you've lost and trying to recover from the adrenaline of battle
you and annabeth sang percy happy birthday and the three of you sat together and ate blue cake in a comfortable silence
weeks passed, and one day, you're met with annabeth barging into your cabin asking when you and percy are going to talk about your kiss
it was the last day of camp, and she was insistent on you talking to him
you reluctantly agreed, mainly because annabeth threatened to lock you in a storage closet again
you guys sat on the dunes in silence for a while
the both of you wanted to confess, but neither knew how to do it
after some silence, the both of you spoke at the same time
you stuttered over each other and then began bickering back and forth on who should go first until you blurted out that you like him
you cringed and looked away as percy froze in his spot
it was silent for a moment before percy whispered, "I like you too."
cue your second kiss
your teeth slightly bumping with his since the both of you were smiling so much
and you swore you heard thunder in the distance even though there were clear skies
relationship
you lived in a foster home on the other side of manhattan, so you guys saw each other every weekend
you guys went on movie dates, long drives, and you would sleep over pretty often
for the spooky season, you went to haunted houses and carved pumpkins
you watched horror movies together, teasing each other when one of you jumped and tried to cover your face during the scary parts
you went to his place for Thanksgiving and you arrived early so that the both of you could help sally cook all day
you and percy put blue food coloring on the mashed potatoes
for the first time ever, you felt like you were apart of a family since sally had welcomed you with open arms
everything was going great but then december came around
the last time you saw percy, you guys were christmas shopping for his mom
your last day of school ended a few days after his, so you planned to meet at CHB
but when you got there, you found out he never arrived
you called his home from the payphone in the big house
sally was relieved to hear from you, a part of her hoping he was with you
but you both found out that neither of you had heard from him in a few days
meeting jason
you and annabeth tried everything to find him
then you got a dream from hera that the answer to where percy is was with the guy with one shoe
you arrive and you find this blonde kid and not your boyfriend; you were kinda actually very annoyed
but this blonde kid felt familiar
you weren't sure what it was, and then you heard his name — Jason Grace
surely, it was a coincidence that he shared the name of your missing brother
you were too young to remember his disappearance
the only remembrance you had of him was a picture of the both of you as toddlers sitting happily beside thalia
you always wondered who was the little boy in the photo and it wasn't until a few years ago did thalia tell you about him disappearing
you were a bit wary of him at first, especially since he had no memory of where he came from
it wasn't until he conjured lightning with his sword, did you have no doubt in your mind that he was your brother
the first night you guys spent in the cabin together was awkward
you couldn't really catch up since he didn't remember anything, so you told him what thalia told you about him and your mother
you didn't reveal him everything, not wanting to overwhelm him and you had decided to call it a night before you went into detail
you explained the rest of the story after he came back from his quest
you tried to ask him questions hoping he’d remember more, but his memory wasn't coming back fast enough
both you and jason were growing frustrated, so one day you iris messaged thalia
the both of you came up with an idea to jog jason's memory by showing him things that he enjoyed as a toddler
jason was pretty sure it wouldn't work, but he went along with it
thalia recalled that the two of you really liked watching the flintstones as babies
so you and jason sat down and watched every season available on dvd
and well, it didn't work...
thalia also mentioned you both really liked sweets, so you tried to jog his memory with candy bars
you had to convince jason to sneak out of camp with you
he thought it was such a bad idea, but you reassured him he'd be fine
after reluctantly agreeing, jason and you escaped at night to buy actually steal candy bars from the closest gas station
jason panicked as he watches you shove candy bars in your sweatshirt
"we're gonna get caught"
"if you keep looking that scared, we just might," you replied a little too calmly
he tried to relax, but he just looked like he saw a ghost the entire time
on your way back, you may have electrocuted a harpy and fought a couple cyclops and all the fighting and running made you lose one of your snicker bars
you were upset, to say the least
unfortunately, after stuffing him with chocolate, that didn't work either
then you tried to show him the few pictures you were able to salvage before you were taken to the foster home after the death of your mother
jason sat in front of you on the floor as you pulled the box from under your bed
you smiled, finding an old picture of your mother, and you put it up to his face, taking in the similarities between the two
"yep, you look just like her," you confirmed as you smiled sadly
even though jason didn't know her, he felt a sense of pride when you had told him so
every time a memory would come back, you were the first person he told
when his memories with lupa came back, you were shook
and then you teased him, saying that he's basically a dog
once you threw a twig and told him to go fetch
he didn't find it as funny as you and leo did, but oh well
you also asked if he howled at full moons, and you were met with the straightest face you've ever seen on jason
it was the funniest thing ever to you
every week you guys kicked ass in capture the flag
you guys were more alike than you thought
it was guaranteed that whichever team you were on would win
in the months when the argo II was being built, you had a lot of times to bond with jason
your dynamic was really fun as you were a bit more rebellious and silly while he was a lot more responsible and mature
after the argo II departed
you reuniting with percy was something you thought about for months
you were so excited when the argo II was officially ready to fly over to camp jupiter
your pulse was thumping in your ears when you saw percy in the crowd
after months of worrying about where he was and if he was still alive, it was almost surreal to see him right in front of you
you lunged into him so hard, he stumbled back as you kissed him
just like your second kiss, the both of you were smiling so hard your teeth kept bumping against his
"i love your new look," you commented on his toga, and he snorted,
"yeah?"
"oh yeah, it's kinda hot."
the both of you laughed, content to be in each other's arms again
after getting on the argo II, you were the reason jason and percy formed some sort of a friendship
you were the mutual ground for the both of them since they had a soft spot for you
the tension between the two was something you couldn't disregard and you hated how weird it was at the beginning
if they butted heads, you tried to mend the problem
you understood both of them well enough to understand where they came from
at some point, you and annabeth thought it would be funny to lock them in a storage closet
so you did
they kept complaining to be let out but eventually, they gave in
little did they know that you were standing near the door and listening to their conversation
jason told him how you helped him a lot and all the ridiculous things you made him do
and percy shared stories of you from quests and at camp
the both of them laughed and bonded over having someone as amazing as you in their lives
"y/n is pretty great," percy smiles
"yeah, they are," jason agreed
needless to say, your heart warmed at the praise from your two favorite boys

Side Effects | Bruce Banner x reader
summary: you never know what might be in the beakers at another chemist's station. you never know which of your colleagues might come along just in the knick of time to become the only antidote to your affliction.
word count: 3.6k
warnings: smut! (dub con due to sex pollen), semi-public sex (because technically someone could have walked by but unlikely), guilt/hesitance, kinda pining??, fingering, creampie,
a/n: yes, this is an accurate depiction of emergency shower protocol in a chemical lab and yes it is every lab technician's worst nightmare. thankfully the other stuff is not an accurate depiction of any known chemical, lol.
Tumblr media
You wiped your forehead with a tired sigh, staring down at the calculations in front of you before using your pen to scribble over them before tearing out the page and throwing it away.
“You still do that by hand?” Bruce interjected, making you look up at where he was leaning in the doorway to the lab, watching you work.
“Oh, Dr. Banner!” you greeted with a smile, wondering if it was too ecstatic. You weren’t so good at the ‘playing it cool’ thing like he seemed to be.
“We have all those fancy screens and digital whiteboards, you know,” he explained as he stepped in and looked around at your work. “Not to mention the computer can do that stuff for you.”
“I know,” you scoffed, “but I always feel better doing it myself, on real paper. Not that I’m having any luck at the moment…”
"Here, I'll give them a quick look while you take a break," he offered, glancing at the numbers from over your shoulder. "You just get up and stretch your legs for a minute, doc."
You always thought it was sort of silly for him to call you that when he was a doctor as well, but you didn't complain.
Regardless, you were about to tell him that it was fine and you didn't need a break, but he was leaning in closer to take your seat and the proximity was so intimidating that you hopped up and went along with it anyways. He sat down and pondered your calculations while you circled the lab, taking a moment to appreciate how nice it felt to stand up and move around after sitting for so long.
"Your handwriting is…" Bruce trailed off, adjusting his glasses.
"Feminine and graceful?" you finished sarcastically.
"Sure," he chuckled.
"Yeah, just like me—" you started to quip, but mid-sentence you (ironically) stumbled and tripped, using a nearby table to catch yourself— but you accidentally grabbed onto a beaker, which tipped over and smashed onto the ground. The liquid inside spilled onto the floor just before you did, and you winced as you fell into the puddle of the unknown substance.
“Shit!” you hissed as you scrambled to get up, looking down at your clothes and seeing they were covered in the fluid, which was beginning to evaporate, or steam, or something. Remembering lab safety protocols, you instantly began to strip, closing your eyes and wishing Bruce hadn’t come in just before this. As you shirked your lab coat, shirt, and skirt, you walked to the emergency shower, pulling the lever and gasping when the chilly stream of water poured down on you. Bruce looked at you with wide eyes before being kind enough to turn around as you shivered and removed your bra and underwear, now completely naked and weakly scrubbing yourself with your hands in hopes that none of the chemical had gotten onto your skin.
“What is it?” he asked nervously, turning his head back enough that you could hear him over the flow of water, but hopefully not so much that he could see anything important.
“I don’t know,” you answered, “it’s not mine. It’s something Dr. Sutherland was working on…”
“Is it… are you in pain at all? he asked, even more concerned, and you tried to decide if you could feel any effects.
“N-no…” you answered hesitantly. You felt hot, and strange, and you were covered in rolling chills, but you figured that was just the situation you were in— naked in a tepid shower in front of your coworker who just so happened to be incredibly sexy.
“I should call poison control,” Bruce offered as he reached for his cell phone.
“No, I’m fine,” you denied as the water flow slowed down and you wiped your face, confident that you looked like a complete mess— but at least you saved yourself from whatever was in that beaker, right?
“Here,” Bruce offered an emergency blanket to you after pulling it off a nearby shelf, and it was not at all absorbent but it helped with the draft as you stepped away from the shower which was still leaking the last few drops of water onto the drain on the floor.
“Thank you,” you nodded nervously, shivering and dripping and looking back at him with no idea what to say at all.
“Do you feel alright? I should check you for burns,” he suggested. “I— I won’t look…”
“Please,” you sighed, pulling the blanket a bit to expose your chest and stomach. He brushed his hand over the skin there, making you instantly whine as heat burned just under your skin, clouding your mind and making you crave even more.
"Did that hurt?" he asked anxiously, pulling away, but you stepped closer.
"No it's… it's good, it's so good."
He furrowed his brow as he looked down at you, putting the back of his hand to your forehead. "You're burning up, doc, you must be running a fever of 105."
"Touch me more, please," you whimpered. It was like you were in a dream, everything foggy and distant, and the only time that anything made sense was when he touched you. Or maybe it was that his touch sent you further into delirium; you couldn't be sure.
He gasped when he looked at your quivering legs only to find slick arousal running down the inside of them, threatening to drip onto the floor.
"Oh," he sighed.
"Please," you begged mindlessly, "Dr. Banner, I n-need you…"
"No, you need medical attention."
You whined and grabbed as his shirt, humming at the feeling of his warm skin just beneath. If the forearms that he often left exposed in rolled-up sleeves were anything to go buy, his chest was probably toned and tanned, lightly dusted with dark hair… you were all but drooling at the thought. "Please, Bruce… just help me," you pleaded, looking up into his eyes which were swirling with conflict.
"I can't," he shook his head. "I'd be taking advantage."
He must have seen the heartbreak of rejection make you wince, because he tried to soothe you with his hands resting on your arms— even just that contact making you suppress a moan.
"I've wanted this for so long," he explained, "and you— you haven't. You're unwell, you need to go to a hospital."
You sobbed a little at the idea of being taken away from him and examined by strangers, when you knew the solution was right in front of you. "No, no Bruce they'll touch me! Nobody can touch me but you, I only want you."
He scoffed, but you heard the weakness in it and you needed him to give in soon before you melted from your own hear. "You're deranged— delirious," he reiterated.
"It'll feel so good, please Bruce, I'll be so good for you— anything you want, I'll do it, I'm yours."
"Stop talking like that," he winced. "I can't… I can't."
"I need to feel you inside me, Dr. Banner, I need it more than anything. It's just gonna get worse… please, help me. I want you. I trust you."
"You'll hate me in the morning," he asserted. "God, this is so wrong…"
But much to your relief, he reached down and hesitantly slid his thick middle finger through your folds, gasping gently as he felt how wet you were. "I should t-take you somewhere private."
"No, need you now— right here," you pleaded, trying to chase his touch with your hips.
"But if someone came by—" he began to fret, glancing at the door; but his attention was turned back to you by your hands weaving into his hair.
"Nobody else stays this late, god, Bruce please I just need you so bad—"
He cut you off with a sudden kiss, which was enough on its own to make warmth bloom in your gut, but then he started to move his finger again and you shuddered with a moan that was muffled by his lips.
"Maybe I can make you come like this," he offered as he pulled back just enough to whisper to you, "would that help you? It'll take the edge off."
You bucked and moaned against his fingers, just those subtle touches driving you wild. "N-no, it has to be inside! You have to fuck me, I need your cock."
He breathed through his teeth, like he was almost considering it, but then looked away. "I can't," he shook his head.
"Can't or won't?"
He frowned. "Won't. I'll get you off with my fingers, otherwise it would be… too selfish."
"Bruce, I'm literally begging you for it," you sighed, the irritated tone that you'd intended lost in the moans he elicited by rubbing your swollen clit.
"I know," he winced, "I know and it's killing me that I can't give you what you're asking for… I swear if it wasn't like this…" he trailed off as you looked up at him with your bottom lip between your teeth.
"What would it be like?" you asked lowly. "Tell me how you would fuck me."
For all his shyness before, there was a brief switch in his demeanor as he leaned in, breath hot against your neck as he whispered, two fingers sliding into your channel at the exact moment that he spoke.
"So fucking hard."
You whimpered, knees wobbling a bit as you tried to ride his fingers— but he wasn't pushing back, wasn't giving you enough force to balance against when you sought more friction. "P-please, Bruce— I know you want to, please, please baby I need it so bad…"
"I know," he breathed, free hand cradling your face as his thumb stroked your cheek, and it was so needlessly compassionate, so effortlessly soothing that your heart had no choice but to clench at his tenderness. Other parts of you clenched as well, in much more literal ways, but the heart thing was more important.
You gingerly reached forward and palmed his cock through his pants, moaning when you felt how hard it was. "You're desperate, too," you informed him with a little smile. "It hurts, doesn't it? It aches."
"Yes," he answered tensely.
"I'm hurting too. I'm aching, for you. Please, Bruce, help me."
As he pulled back and examined your face, he chewed his lip and contemplated. He couldn't stand to see you in pain, but he couldn't comprehend what he had to do to help you. Well, okay, that's not totally accurate because he had actually "comprehended" the idea of making love to you plenty of times. But that was just a fantasy, a very misguided one that he only indulged in in his weakest moments. And in those fantasies, shockingly enough, you were always completed lucid and of sound mind and body. He sadly could not say that for you at the moment, and of course he couldn't because of course when you were sober and healthy, you didn't see him that way.
Bruce prided himself on his logic, his integrity, his patience. Suddenly, those qualities were falling prey to a much deeper, carnal instinct that saw this not as a predicament but as an opportunity. Logic states, after all, that it would be wasteful to have everything he wanted thrown into his lap and to let it go to waste.
"Fuck," he groaned as he kissed you again, fucking you faster with his fingers. You moaned and went for his belt, barely managing to open it with your hands shaking so much; part of you had considered just trying to rip the leather off of him, and with the force of your need it seemed almost plausible.
Finally getting his trousers opened just enough to reach inside, you purred as you reached in and navigated past his boxers to wrap your fingers around his hard cock. It was so thick and smooth and hot and you almost wanted to drop to your knees and take it in your throat right then, but you had better plans.
He pulled his fingers out of you slowly, grinning against you at the way you whined, before wrapping his arms around you and quickly instructing you to jump.
It was infuriating, how easily he caught you when you wrapped your body around him. Infuriating and so painfully sexy.
He never broke the kiss as he walked the two of you to your lab table, sliding the papers aside and onto the floor to set you on it. You started on his aggravatingly-small shirt buttons while he pushed his trousers and boxers down the rest of the way, and god his cock was right there between your legs, so close but very much too far away for your liking.
You didn't have the time or energy to get his shirt off, settling for just running your hands over the exposed skin instead. He grinned and watched the path your hands made, hissing slightly when they wrapped around his shaft— for a second you swore you could feel it throb.
"Don't make me wait anymore," you whispered your plea, sighing a little when he nodded.
"Okay baby," he agreed.
"Been waiting so long," you whined.
"Me too," he nodded, and with a little push, his cock slid all the way into you and filles you to the brim. Even when you were completely drenched, the girth of him was so wide that it stung, that it tore you open, but you loved it. Your head fell back and just from him being inside you, you came. The substance had you so needy and sensitive that that was all it took. It wasn't enough yet, of course. You knew you needed more. But God, he felt so good you could hardly breathe.
"Baby," you heard Bruce gasp, his fingers digging into your hips. Your chest twisted when he laughed a little, breathless and just teetering on the line between complimentary and mocking. "Did you just come?"
You considered playing dumb, but nodded instead.
His smile was apparent when he pressed his lips just below your ear to suck on the delicate skin there, his teeth trailing up to nibble your earlobe lightly. You hoped he would leave a mark, you hoped he would leave lots of marks that you could remember this by for weeks to come.
"Couldn't help yourself, huh?" he asked breathlessly, whispering so quietly you could barely hear it over the beating of your own pulse which echoed in your ears.
"You feel so good," you justified, "so fucking good, Bruce."
"You too," he sighed as he finally pulled back and slid into you again, the friction making your back arch instantly. "Even better than I imagined."
You smiled and wrapped your legs around his hips, forcing him to push deeper with each thrust. When he pushed you to your limits it felt like you might just fall apart right there, but it was so worth it.
As if that wasn't enough, he reached down and circled a thumb over your overstimulated clit, grinning down at you at the sight of you writhing and bucking wildly in his arms.
"Fuck!" you cried as you tightened your hands on his shoulders into fists hard enough to risk tearing through his shirt.
"Too much?"
"More," you pleaded instead, crying out when he gave you exactly what you wanted with fast, rough thrusts into your drenched walls. "Yes," you sobbed, "yes, fuck— m'gonna come, Bruce, gonna come again."
"Go ahead," he encouraged, voice so much rougher than normal, "show me how good it feels, baby."
It felt like his words were the thin that pushed you over the edge, as if your body somehow both understood and obeyed his command. You could feel a renewed wave of slick leak out from you, enough that you could hear the wetness in each slap of his hips against yours. His name was somewhere in the litany of curses and praises that spilled from your lips, your mind too clouded with hazy pleasure to keep track of what you were actually saying.
"Just like that," he groaned, "doing so good, fuck, say my name just like that every time I make you come."
An easy enough stricture to follow, especially when it seemed like he was all you could think about. He looked so different with his clothes half-shorn and his eyes dark with lust. He hadn't taken his glasses or labcoat off and you weren't sure which of those you were happier about.
His lips and hands were all over you; you couldn't even keep track of everywhere he was touching you, that's how overwhelming it was. "God, you're so fucking perfect," he groaned against your skin, finding a hardened nipple as his tongue explored you and wrapping his lips around it. "You are so goddamn sexy, you know that? I love seeing you with your legs spread for me like a needy little whore. I love hearing you moan and knowing I'm the one making you feel this good."
He took a moment to look at you and soak in your shocked reaction to his words before leaning in to continue.
"I love feeling you come for me," he purred in your ear.
"Then you're gonna really like what I'm about to do," you shivered.
"Yeah? You can gimme another one already?" he smiled. "Such a good girl…"
You really couldn't help it, it felt like everything he did only enhanced your pleasure— his words, his hands all over you, not to even mention his cock inside you. As much as the hedonistic corner of your brain was happy to let this go on forever, the ramifications of constant orgasms were finally catching up with you as you wondered how much more of this you could take.
"F-fuck, are you close?" you asked weakly. "Want you to come for me, Bruce, please."
"I-I'll pull out," he suggested, although the way he looked down at his length sinking into you and pulling back out, covered in your abundant arousal, didn't exactly indicate that he was willing and able to actually make good on his offer.
"No!" you yelped, pulling him closer by his unbuttoned shirt. "It needs to be inside, Bruce, please come inside me."
"Fuck," he hissed through his teeth.
"Please, Bruce, please, promise you'll come inside."
"I will," he sighed, "fuck, I will baby, I promise I'm gonna fill you up so good, you're gonna have my come so fucking deep inside you…"
"Yes!" you moaned, completely unabashed as the unknown substance had apparently absolved you of any shame whatsoever. "Yes, I want it, Bruce, I want your come."
The moment you felt his seed start to paint your walls, you felt relief begin to wash over you. Your mind and body relaxed, the overwhelming heat under your skin subsiding into a comforting warmth, the desperation that had burned in your gut satiated at last.
And that left you staring up at him in realization of what you had done, just as he looked back at you with the same.
"God, I'm so sorry—" he shuddered, moving to pull away. Instinctively your legs wrapped around his hips again, holding him close.
"N-no, wait," you groaned, "it's okay. Don't go."
"You don't hate me," he said, the exhaustion in his tone making it hard to tell if it was a question or a statement.
"Never," you sighed with a weak smile, sitting up to clutch his face and kiss him again. "God, Bruce, now I'm just wondering what took us so long."
"Our lab safety is just too good, clearly," he smiled as he kissed you again, pulling back a little too soon to examine your face where he held it in his hands. "Are you okay? You should still probably go to a doctor…"
"I'm already with a doctor," you smirked, "and his treatment was very effective."
"Yeah, that was…" he trailed off, wide eyes as if he were reminiscing about what had only just transpired.
"Sorry for being so… desperate," you cringed. "I didn't mean to… um… impose…"
He just laughed and kissed your forehead, making you feel your cheeks warm a bit; ironic that with everything that had just happened, this was what made you blush. "A beautiful, amazing woman that I've been dreaming about for months begs me to take her in the laboratory… really inconvenient."
"I mean, cleaning up these papers and the broken glass is gonna be pretty tedious, along with the incident report," you frowned.
"I'll help you with it," he offered.
"Tomorrow," you decided. "Right now, I'm taking you to my place."
"Is that so?" he asked with a bemused smirk.
"Yep. We both are in serious need of a shower, and then I wanna go again," you grinned wickedly.
"I thought you said you weren't feeling the effects of the chemical anymore," he recalled, voice tinted with concern.
"I'm not," you reassured, "I'm just feeling the effects of you."

Investigations (Part 6): Ran Haitani x Fem!Reader
wc: 1.8k
tw: NSFW
masterlist
song recommendation:
"Mommy, you're getting bigger!"
The slapping of Kai's shoes on the wood flooring, his little body rushing toward you with his arms spread wide, is enough to make you forget the emptiness you felt like an ache in your soul.
"Kai, don't say that..."
Ran chastises him, coming through the door with the Paw Patrol bag slung over his suited shoulder.
"It's fine," you reply, squatting down to hold your son close. "He's just a kid." Ran doesn't respond. He just slides the backpack off his shoulder and shuts your apartment door, sitting it on the marble counter before walking around the fixture slowly.
"Packed five changes of clothes," he begins, ticking off his fingers. "Snacks and a water bottle. Some toys. And the books you wanted."
"Thanks," you whisper, unzipping the backpack to check if he made sure the clothes were matching this time.
"Y/n..." You sigh, feeling Ran's fingers slide up your hips and rest on your small bump. "You should really reconsider this. You're going to need help with the baby, and--"
"Ran." You don't face him; you can't look at his sad eyes. They're too convincing... Too alluring. You'd separated for a reason, not because you wanted to play coy. "We need to get through counseling before I can consider anything."
"I miss you." The words are like a siren's call to your heart, and you want to turn around. You want to hold him and kiss him and... But he'd just do the same thing over and over again. His lies would become more convincing, and you'd be in dire straits, all while sleeping next to a lying manipulator.
You decide the heartbreak isn't worth it.
"I'll see you on Sunday evening." Ran gets the hint. His hands slip away from your body and he says a soft "bye, champ" to Kai before walking out of the door.
_____________________________________________________________
You remember the day Ran came to get you like it was yesterday.
Cliche, but true.
He'd stormed into the little home Taiju had allowed you to remain in, his violet eyes blazing with anger and betrayal. Taiju followed behind him, yellow eyes apologetic and maybe even a little guilty.
"I'm sorry, y/n," Taiju whispered, hanging his head. "I--"
"Pack your things." Ran grabbed you by the wrist, yanking you toward the room you'd just emerged from, but you snatched it back, snapping,
"Fuck off."
In a split second, Ran had his hand raised in the air, poised to slap the taste out of your mouth without a second thought. But he stopped himself, remembering where he was. Who he was with. And who you were.
Taiju yanked you behind him in the milliseconds between Ran raising his hand and the thought of slapping you crossing his mind, full of fury.
"You can hit me, but if you hit her..." The threat stood between the two men, holding them apart with the promise of violence beyond your rashest fears.
"I want a divorce," you croaked.
Ran's eyes softened, and his mind flitted from the "I" to the "want" to the "a" and settled on "divorce".
"Y/n, please, I--"
"I want a fucking divorce."
The drive home with Taiju was the longest drive you'd ever endured.
And then you found out... you were pregnant. The timing couldn't have been worse. You only told Taiju - mainly because he would end up being the godfather due to the circumstances - but when you asked for a divorce, you had moved out.
Ran committed to helping pay for your apartment while you looked for a job, but once you found one as an administrative assistant to someone your family knew, you rejected any and all payments. Kai was shared between the two of you without a court order (you got weekends, he got weekdays), and you'd gotten used to living on your own for the first time in over five years.
And Kai... Kai hadn't understood why Mommy wouldn't be with him Monday through Friday. But Ran tried to explain it in soft tones and gentle hand-holding, and somehow it sunk in that Mommy needed to "work" and Daddy would do most of the caretaking while you worked hard for your independence.
But as the weeks passed, signs appeared, and Ran caught on pretty quickly with his methodical calculations and scrutinizing eyes. And when he found out you were pregnant and hadn't told him?
You sat through a half-hour-long, tear-filled speech that emphasized that Ran would be a part of the child's life in any and every way possible. Through that conversation, though, you agreed to marriage counseling. So... maybe it was good that he found out the way he did.
_____________________________________________________________
"Mr. Haitani, do you want this marriage to work for you or against you?"
"What kind of question is that?" Ran scoffs, crossing his arms.
"It's the kind of question that just might save you from being divorced and alone."
You can see Ran soften, uncrossing his arms and leaning his head on his propped-up hand.
"I want it to work."
"And Mrs. Haitani? Same question." When the woman turns to you, you feel something in your own heart crack, and for a moment, you think it's the pregnancy hormones that are making you cry. But you shake your head at yourself, wiping your eyes preemptively.
"I want it to work. For us. I don't want Kai to be without a father." A pause. "And I don't want to be without my husband." You don't see how Ran reacts because you're too busy sobbing into your own hands, feeling every single emotion you've held at bay come crashing down on you. But the large couch dips, and Ran places his arm around you, enveloping you in a hug as you weep.
"Then we need to rebuild trust before we can get to true reconciliation. Can I recommend something?"
"Please," Ran replies.
"Spend this evening just being honest with each other. Nothing distracting you two, just the two of you and your truth. Mr. Haitani, you need to be open enough to be honest and give her the answers to any questions she might have. And Mrs. Haitani, you need to do the same."
_____________________________________________________________
You're sitting between Ran's legs, staring at the crackling fire while he rests his large hands on your knees.
"Ask me anything."
The floor is open. The first question that comes to mind is:
"How long have you been in gangs?"
"Since I was thirteen." Seventeen years... This is a way of life for Ran.
"You've killed a man before." A statement, not a question.
"Many. But never for fun." You turn to look at him, and Ran looks down at you, raising his brows. "Never. And very rarely these days." South.
"Did you ever think about leaving?"
"All the time. The first time was when you and I got married. Then when we had Kai... then when you found out."
"And what's stopping you?" Ran thinks long and hard.
"It wouldn't make you trust me any more than you do now." You nod, quirking your lips to the left. That is true. "But also... I want to provide for both of you. I can't leave without some consequences. And we'd never be safe. But I can provide safety for us if I'm in power."
That is also true.
"Can I ask a question?" Ran whispers.
"Of course."
"Do you really want to divorce me?" You stare at the flames again, the answer very clear for the both of you. You just have to say it out loud.
"No." Ran sighs, dropping his head on your shoulder.
"I can't be without you." You lean your head on his and close your eyes, letting his lips press against your skin. "Please, come home."
"When we finish counseling," you promise. "I'll come home."
"Can you stay with me tonight, though?" You hesitate, but Ran cups your neck in his hand, whispering "please" into your skin and you give in. What good is it to fight the thing you want? To fight the man you need?
You kiss Ran with everything that you are, turning around to embrace him gently. You run your hands through his hair, tugging the short locks slightly as he lifts you onto his lap and kisses you deeply.
"Never leave me again," Ran pants, running his hands up your back. "Please. I felt like I could barely breathe without you."
"Never break my trust again," you reply, and Ran hums softly, littering kisses all over your face. "And I won't ever leave you."
Your lovemaking is slow and thoughtful in front of the fire, Ran's hands holding your hips with feather-light touches, and swiping your hair away from your face whenever he can't see your eyes staring back at him. It's this type of sex that Ran seems to take the most pleasure in... the closeness, the sweetness, the passion... it's all wrapped up in his soul, and he's pouring it out to you without words.
"I want you to be happy here," Ran grunts, stroking your g-spot with his skilled length and kissing the swell of your breasts at the same time. "With me."
You moan, and Ran opens his mouth to speak again.
"And I want you to be safe." He pauses, swirling a nipple around with his tongue. "And warm..." Ran's hands move from your hips to your face, and he leans down to brush his nose against yours. "And mine."
"You're all that I am," you breathe, and Ran's eyes light up, remembering the part of your vows you had said on your wedding day, which were completely unscripted.
"And you are all that I will be." His reply makes you arch your back upward, and you shake as he brings you to your climax, stroking all of the right spots and tending to your every need.
"R-Ran..."
"Shhh... Kai's sleeping. Don't want to wake him, do you?" Ran teases as your body clenches around his cock. "Gotta be quiet or-- fuck, fuck... Oh, my god..." Ran shudders, cumming inside of you with stuttering hips and fingers gripping your hands in his. When you both slow your pants and come down from your highs, Ran pulls you up and onto his body, leaning back onto the soft, plush carpet - and still inside of you.
You both stare into the fire, tangled and merged with one another by a red thread.
"I can't let go of you," Ran murmurs, and you look up at him in question. A tear tracks from the corner of his eye, and you swipe at it, pressing a kiss to his lips.
"You don't have to." You lay back down on his chest, trying to remain awake and relish this time with him, but you feel yourself slipping, falling, crashing into a deep sleep, one you've needed for a long time.

"Welcome to the future."
The familiar voice of Maxwell Lord spoke through the TV, the sizzling sound of bacon on the stove and the soft hum of a girl's voice harmonizing with the commercial just like it did almost every morning. It was a natural occurrence for the apartment, the familiarity of it all providing a warmth to the place that Y/N herself couldn't describe.
"Life is good, but it can be better."
The girl picked up a small piece of already cooked bacon and took a bite, her eyes flickering over to the small TV while her other hand absentmindedly flipped the bacon in front of her. Y/N let her gaze wander over the man upon the screen, the corners of her lips perking up with each crunch of the bacon between her teeth while she followed every single one of his animated movements.
"And why shouldn't it be? Everything we've ever dreamed about is right at our fingertips."
He was smiling towards the camera, towards the audience watching on the other side. Maxwell Lord was a man who was destined to be a TV star in some shape or form, even if that meant a commercial. His charisma, his charm, his whole being was something the world was meant to see and Y/N had known that since the moment she first laid eyes upon him that Maxwell Lord was meant for greatness.
"But are you reaping the rewards?"
Y/N flickered her eyes back over to the bacon, smiling with satisfaction once she noticed it was almost done. She moved across the room to where pancakes were currently covered with pieces of tin foil to keep them warm. She pulled the tin foil off, tossing the discarded pieces into the trash before grabbing the extra plate she had ready and bringing it over to the bacon which she began to take off the pan one by one.
"Do you have it all?"
Y/N hesitated at that, the question ringing through her ears and swirling within her head. She was too busy thinking that she didn't even register the sound of footsteps until two arms were snaking around her waist, lips gently pressing against his neck and leaving a soft kiss  where the lingering ghosts from the night before still peppered her skin.
Yes, she wanted to say. I have everything I could ever want.
Y/N let out a soft sigh of content, her eyes fluttering closed as she leaned back against Max, her free hand sliding up into his hair while he moved his lips up her neck and towards her cheek where he left a gentle kiss. "Good morning," Max whispered, his lips brushing against her ears and making her shiver before he was burying his face into her neck while he held her close.
"Morning," Y/N replied a little breathlessly, not being able to help the effect Max always seemed to have on her. She could feel his fingers trailing down her side, gently lifting up the night shirt of his that she had thrown on so that his hands could glide across her skin. He held her waist then, his thumbs rubbing soft circles against her skin while Y/N struggled to pull herself out of the daze she was already falling into.
The smell of bacon was the only thing keeping her from falling into a mess right then and there and she didn't hesitate to pull the rest of the bacon off the pan and on to the plate. She then moved the pan off to the side, quickly shutting off the stove before turning towards her boyfriend—the one and only Maxwell Lord.
He was already dressed to impress, his usual suit hugging his body and his blonde hair styled back to perfection. His brown eyes shone down on her, twinkling as they always did when he looked at her. Then there was that smile, a smile that was very similar to the one on TV but with an extra component reserved just for her. He was a sight to behold, his beauty something that never failed to make her heart skip a beat.
Y/N barely had time to smile before Max was pulling her closer by her waist, his head ducking down to close the distance and capture her lips with his own. She instantly responded, her eyes fluttering closed while her hands reached up to wrap around his neck and pull him closer if that was even possible.
It was a simple kiss, one that still managed to make her breathless while also preventing her from forgetting the food that she had spent a while making while Max got ready for work.
Max pulled away first, his smile never leaving his face as he looked at her before he wrapped both arms around her waist and nodded towards the TV where his commercial was just ending. "You like the new commercial? Same words, just a different concept," he explained.
Y/N smiled and let her hand cup his cheek, her thumb gently caressing the skin there as she said, "It's perfect because you're in it."
Max jokingly rolled his eyes at that, pulling away from the girl in order to help grab the rest of the plates and utensils they would need while Y/N grabbed their coffee and a bottle of syrup for the pancakes. Max set his things down before pulling the chair out for Y/N to sit in. She let out a quiet mutter of thanks while he just pressed a chaste kiss to her cheek and sat down beside her.
The two were like a well oiled machine as they got their food situated, neither of them even saying anything as they automatically began passing things to one another that they knew they would need for their food. Before long they were already eating, Max letting out a small moan of delight before whispering, "Honey, you've outdone yourself again. I still think you should quit your job at the museum and open your own restaurant or maybe even a bakery."
"You only say that because you don't want to cook it yourself," Y/N teased, raising her eyebrows at the boy with a teasing smile while he simply winked at her.
"Maybe the half about me not wanting to cook is true, but the half about me only saying it's great because of that is a lie. You seriously know how to cook," Max insisted earning a small chuckle from the girl.
"Well I'm glad you love it so much and I guess you must be right if you've been able to stick with my cooking for almost three years now," Y/N admitted, noticing the way Max's smile grew a little when she mentioned how long they had been together.
"I'm always right," Max insisted earning a small eye roll from the girl which made him chuckle. He bit into a piece of bacon as he lifted up his watch to check the time. "Shit," he muttered, already turning to his plate and beginning to pile all of his dishes on top of it. "I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I really have to head to work."
Y/N frowned at that, having not noticed it was already time for him to leave. "Really?" she asked, attempting to sound curious and not whiny. "Is it already time?"
Max knew what she was doing and let out a small chuckle as he set his dishes in the sink with the intent to clean them later when he got home. "Sadly, yes," he told her. "And if my calculations are correct, you have about half an hour before you need to head to work and unless you want to work in my shirt all day you might want to get ready. Not that I'm complaining."
Y/N turned to him at that, rolling her eyes at the smirk that dawned his face as he not so subtly looked her up and down. She looked away with a sigh and stood up muttering, "I wish we didn't have to work. I'd much rather spend the day here with you."
"I know, sweetheart," Max sighed, taking one last sip of his coffee before rinsing out the cup and setting it in the sink. "But we have to."
"Life is good," Y/N said before pointing to her boyfriend half heartedly and making the face she was so used to him doing on TV. "But it can be better."
Max gave her a small smile at that before walking over and pulling her in for a hug, one hand holding her head against his chest while his other arm was wrapped around her waist. Y/N closed her eyes for a moment and breathed in, Max's scent instantly filling her senses and making her feel more relaxed than before.
Y/N then glanced up at the man who smiled and leaned down to kiss her. She instantly kissed back, her hands beginning to slide up his chest and inching their way towards his hair. However, before she could deepen the kiss and somehow convince him to skip work for the day, Max was already pulling away with an apologetic smile.
"I really have to go," he told her. "I'm going to be late if I don't."
"Right," Y/N agreed. "We're still on for dinner tonight after work, right?"
"Of course," Max assured her, smiling as she pressed one more kiss to his lips.
"Good. Have a great day. I love you," Y/N said, kissing him once more which in turn made Max chase after her lips to prolong the kiss.
"And I love you," he whispered before quickly pulling away and grabbing the last of his things. He went for the door and pulled it open before glancing back at Y/N who was standing in the doorway hugging her body with a small smile on her face. She lifted her hand and waved it ever so slightly in goodbye. Max smiled and sent her one last wink before disappearing out the door and leaving Y/N behind.
The girl stood there for a little while after he had left, her thoughts consisting of nothing but her boyfriend. She couldn't help but be slightly upset for this was what every morning was like,  Max rushing off to work while they were still in the middle of breakfast. And she knew she wouldn't be able to see him until that night.
Luckily it was a date night which meant he would get off early just to eat with her, but most of the time he would be at the office until so late that by the time he got back it would be time for them to go to sleep and repeat the whole process again.
The weekends were the only days she truly got to spend a lot of time with him, but those were also the days that they were in charge of watching over his son Alistair which meant she didn't really get to have him to herself very often. Y/N never complained about it, but sometimes she wished he didn't always have to rush off or wasn't always so busy.
She just wanted to be able to spend a little more time with him was all, especially at this time since he hadn't always used to be so busy in the three years she had been with him. Lately he had just been going through a lot of things at work and he kept referring to some project that he was trying to get started, but wouldn't tell her what it was because he wanted to surprise her when it was ready.
Max's reminder of work was what kept her from getting lost in her thoughts for too long and Y/N quickly went back to the kitchen to put away the leftovers and clean up the dishes. Once she was done, she went to hers and Max's shared room and got ready, throwing on a nice blouse, jeans, and heels like always.
As she put her earrings in, her eyes flickered over to the picture frame on their dresser, her eyes lingering on the photo of her and Max from a gala the year prior. Max was kissing her cheek, an arm wrapped around her waist and holding her close while she smiled towards the camera and kept a hand upon his chest. It was almost funny to think that back then she still hadn't even moved in with the man yet. Now here she was sharing an apartment with him and wishing for the day that he finally decided to pop the question.
Brushing away all thoughts of Max, Y/N checked her appearance in the mirror one last time before grabbing her bag and heading off to work. She had been blessed enough to work at the Smithsonian Museum for a while now and was probably one of the few people on the planet who really didn't mind working. It was just the having to get ready part instead of staying in bed that got to her.
By the time she reached the Smithsonian, Y/N was already looking forward to her day. She was so lost in her thoughts about what she planned to do that she didn't even notice the person trying to go in the door at the same time as her until she had accidentally bumped into them.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry," Y/N quickly said, snapping out of her thoughts and glancing to her side where she was met with a warm smile. "Oh, Diana, good morning."
Diana Prince's smile didn't waver as she looked to the girl. "Good morning, Y/N, and it's really no problem. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings," she insisted.
"I assure you it was my bad," Y/N said with a small laugh. "I've just been lost in thought all morning and was kind of going through the motions."
"Is everything alright?" Diana asked curiously.
"Yes, yes, everything's fine," Y/N assured her. "I've just been trying to figure out my schedule for the day so that I'm able to go to dinner with my boyfriend tonight."
For a moment Y/N was sure she saw a flicker of sadness in Diana's eyes, but it was gone before she could fully register it was even there. "Ah, trying to juggle your work life and dating life can be hard," Diana agreed while Y/N let out a small sigh of agreement.
"You have no idea," Y/N said, the two girls chuckling softly before Y/N grabbed the door and held it open. Diana gave her a smile in thanks before walking inside. The girl followed after and was about to engage Diana in another conversation when she noticed that the woman was already gone.
Blinking, Y/N looked around for a moment before brushing off the interaction. After all, it wasn't unusual for Diana to disappear when the conversations became a little too friendly. Y/N didn't blame her. It was obvious Diana wasn't looking for a friend and she wasn't going to force her into any sort of friendship that she didn't want.
Y/N let her eyes wander around the museum as she headed for the back rooms, smiling slightly at all the history that surrounded her and the kids who pointed towards different exhibits in awe. It was only when she got to the back rooms that she reminded herself to focus, instantly heading towards the front desk where she began to pick up her papers for the day and any mail that had come in for her.
She was in the middle of flipping through her mail when she heard the sound of papers hitting the ground behind her. Y/N blinked before turning around, a curious look in her eyes before she noticed a blonde on the ground struggling to pick up her papers.
"Hey, Jake!" the blonde said, eyes locked on her coworker who was walking by at that very moment. "Jake, hi! Can you. . .can you. . .?" she began, but the man merely gave her a look before walking away.
Y/N rolled her eyes at Jake's behavior, not necessarily surprised since he wasn't exactly the kindest person there. She let her gaze shift back over to the blonde who was muttering to herself with a disappointed look on her face.
The woman didn't hesitate to set her stack of papers down before walking over and helping the girl pick her own papers up. The blonde blinked in surprise and glanced up, her eyes locking with Y/N’s as she sent her a smile and said, "Good morning."
"G-Good morning," the blonde replied, still stunned at the fact that someone was helping her and someone as beautiful as Y/N no doubt. Another pair of hands joined in and the blonde's eyes grew even more at the sight of Diana who flashed her a grin as she too helped pick the papers up.
"Hi," the blonde said to the two, still looking at them in slight shock. "Thank you."
"Diana Prince, cultural anthropology and archeology," Diana said as she reached out to shake the blonde's hand.
"Y/N L/N," Y/N greeted next with a warm smile as she too shook the blonde's hand. "Anthropology and curator."
"Barbara Minerva. Geology, gemology, lithology, and part-time cryptozoologist," the blonde said with a smile.
"Woah," Y/N said with a small laugh. "That's amazing."
"I kept busy in college," Barbara explained, quickly diverting her gaze as she grabbed the last of her papers and stood up. Diana and Y/B followed, each of them handing Barbara the papers they had managed to pick up. "Sorry. It's these heels, you know. It's stupid. I don't know why I was gonna wear heels. Scientists don't wear heels."
"Sometimes we do," Diana told her with a kind smile.
"Makes things fun," Y/N said, winking at the blonde. "And it might be just me, but I love the sound of my heels clicking down the hallway."
Barbara let out another nervous laugh, feeling slightly intimidated by the two gorgeous women in front of her who were both wearing heels. "Right. Right. Those are cool," Barbara said, pointing towards Diana's cheetah print heels. "I like those. Animal prints." She then did a small growl and Diana and Barbara both awkwardly laughed while Y/N let out a small breath and reached over to grab her stack of papers from the table nearby.
"Do you want to get lunch?" Barbara asked suddenly, her eyes flickering between the two women who blinked in surprise.
"I, uh. . ." Diana began, already sending the rejection that made Barbara's smile deflate a bit.
"Not now, obviously. It's morning. But later today, or whenever. Like, around. . .Like, at lunchtime?" she asked, hope still flickering in her eyes.
Y/N felt a wave of guilt wash over her and she gave the girl an apologetic smile as she said, "I'm so sorry, Barbara. I actually have to work through lunch today so I can get some stuff done."
"And I have a lot of work today as well," Diana said. "But maybe some other time?" Y/N nodded her head in agreement, both of them looking to Barbara who was obviously trying to hide her disappointment.
"Oh. Yeah, I'm busy today, too," Barbara muttered making Y/N feel ever worse.
"Great," Diana said, but before any of them could say anymore, their boss Carol came walking up, her fingers pointing towards Diana and Y/N.
"Ah! Diana, Y/N, do you happen to know who a Barbara Minerva is?" Carol asked, genuine confusion upon her face.
"Oh, hi, Carol. Hi!" Barbara exclaimed, forcing her smile on to her face despite the confused look upon Carol's face. "It's me. I'm Barbara. Remember? You hired me. Started last week."
"Oh!" Carol exclaimed, although Y/N had a sneaking suspicion that Carol really didn't remember her. "Gemologist?"
"Yes. And zoologist," Barbara added. "We had a couple interviews."
"Yeah. Well, the FBI are gonna drop off some artifacts later this afternoon," Carol told her causing both Y/N and Barbara's eyes to widen while Diana suddenly walked back over to the conversation.
"The FBI?" Barbara asked while Y/N let out a breath of disbelief.
"Wow," the girl muttered, knowing that whatever it was that the FBI had to bring in had to be good.
"Yeah. Yes," Carol told her.
"They're coming here?" Barbara asked, still in shock.
"The mall heist yesterday, apparently they were using a jewelry store as a front," Carol explained.
"Front for what?" Diana questioned and even Y/N found herself taking a small step forward out of curiosity and anticipation.
"Black market. Stolen jewels and art meant for private buyers. But we could use your help identifying one in particular," Carol explained, gesturing towards Barbara who smiled widely.
"My help?" Barbara asked before laughing. "Yeah, I'll help the FBI with whatever they need."
"Is that a yes?" Carol asked, obviously wanting to get the conversation over with.
"Yes. I would, um. . .I would love to assist you," Barbara told her.
"Wonderful. It's nice to meet you," Carol said before walking away.
"We've met," Barbara lowly called after her, her smile disappearing into a look of utter defeat.
Y/N watched the blonde for a moment before reaching out and placing a friendly hand upon the girl's shoulder. "Don't worry about, Carol. She treated me the same way when I first started working here," she tried to assure her earning a small grateful smile from Barbara in return. "I really am sorry about lunch, but I'll try and stop by later and talk to you for a bit if that's alright?"
Barbara's eyes lit up at that, her smile widening as she said, "Yes, yes! I would. . .uh, I would love that."
Y/N gave the woman a small nod before beginning to back away. "I'll see you then," she told her before turning and going to head to her office.
"Have a nice day," Diana said as she too turned to leave.
"Bye, Y/N. Bye, Diana," Barbara called after them, a small smile dawning her features all because of the two friendly faces that had made her feel not so invisible for the first time in a long time.
- - -
Y/N let out a small sigh of triumph as she leaned back in her chair, her eyes slowly flickering over the now finished work that she had laying on her desk. It seemed she was going to not only be off in time for dinner with Max, but now an hour earlier than she had expected. All she really had to do was go see Barbara like she had promised and then she would be free to go.
The woman had a little bit of a pep in her step as she got up and began to clean up her desk, putting away the papers that needed to be filed and sending the last couple of emails that she had written throughout the day.
It was when she was in the middle of filing the last of her papers that her phone went off. She didn't even bother looking at the caller ID as she picked it up and said, "This is Y/N L/N speaking."
"Good afternoon, Miss L/N. This is Raquel, Mr. Lord's secretary," the woman on the other end of the line said, her voice just a tiny bit shaky.
"Yes! Raquel. How are you, dear?" Y/N asked, not really paying full attention to the girl for she was too busy trying to file her stack of papers in her hand.
"I'm doing good, Miss L/N. Mr. Lord asked me to call you and deliver a message for you. He's really sorry, but he won't be able to make it to dinner tonight," Raquel said, her words making Y/N freeze almost instantly.
Raquel then went into this big discussion on how Max was held up at work and wouldn't be able to get home until later that night. Y/N could only stand there and listen as the girl rambled, her eyes closing as she sat down at her desk and leaned her forehead against her hand.
"Miss L/N?" Raquel's voice echoed through her ears.
"I'm here. I'm here," Y/N assured her before she let out a small sigh and sat back up in her chair. "Thanks for letting me know, Raquel. If you don't mind just letting Max know that we can just reschedule and that I'll see him when he gets home tonight, that would be great."
"Of course, Miss L/N," Raquel said. "Have a wonderful day."
"You too, Raquel. Don't let Max push you around too much, okay?" Y/N asked.
There was a small chuckle on the other end of the line before Raquel said, "Of course, Miss L/N."
Y/N smiled softly and pulled the phone away before setting it down to end the call. She sat there for a moment after that, momentarily glancing at the paperwork that she had so desperately tried to finish that day only for it really to mean nothing in the end.
Although, she really shouldn't be surprised. This had become an often occurrence in the past couple of months.
Letting out a sigh, Y/N got back up and made no effort to work quickly as she put the rest of the papers away. When she was done, she collected all of her things and made her way to where she knew Barbara would be dealing with the new artifacts.
To her surprise, Diana was already in there with the blonde, the both of them standing over a small box as Barbara muttered, "Here it is."
"What is it?" Diana asked while Y/Nnodded in greeting to a few of the workers as she walked over to the two girls.
"Um. . .Uh. . .I can't tell. Some light," Barbara muttered as she moved a lamp over the box.
"Whatever it is. It's kind of pretty," Y/N spoke up causing Barbara to jump in surprise before smiling once she saw that it was Y/N.
"Y/N, you came," Barbara said in slight surprise.
"Of course. I told you I would, didn't I?" Y/N replied, smiling softly at the girl who only blinked with a look of disbelief on her face as if she couldn't understand that someone had actually wanted to talk to her.
"R-Right, of course you did," Barbara laughed awkwardly. "Uh. . .I was just showing this to Diana. It's the artifact that they wanted help identifying. I think the technical term here is 'extremely lame.'" She laughed in defeat while Y/N and Diana both chuckled softly with her. "Um. . .It's. . .It's citrine. A classic stone used in fakes throughout history," Barbara told them, gently picking the stone up and sighing softly. "I can't imagine this is worth any more than $75. What do you think?”
"Fakes aren't my forte, but let me see," Diana said, taking the stone from Barbara and beginning to examine it. "Mmm. Latin."
"At least it's an antique, right?" Barbara suggested.
"Or a purchase from a stall on the Ponte Vecchio last week," Diana retorted. "You never know."
"I wonder what it says," Y/N admitted, carefully reaching out to run her fingers across the Latin words while Diana kept the stone in her grasp.
"'Place upon the object held but one great wish,'" Diana read off earning a surprised look from both Barbara and Y/N as the later girl pulled away.
"You read Latin?" Barbara asked.
"Yeah. Yeah. Languages are a hobby," Diana explained.
"Wow and here my hobby is watching TV until the sky is suddenly screaming good morning to me," Y/N muttered between laughs which Barbara and Diana quickly joined in.
"So maybe it's, like, a lucky charm or something?" Barbara suggested.
"Yeah, I guess. Strange," Diana said, letting her eyes flicker over the rest of the objects upon the table and the box the stone came from.
One of Barbara's coworkers Roger must have overheard because he walked over and placed his hand upon the stone before saying, "I really wish I had a coffee."
Y/N cracked a smile at that while Barbara laughed a little too hard for Roger's joke and said, "You're funny."
It was at that moment that another coworker walked in and said, "Hey, I got Erika a coffee, but she's out sick. Does anybody want this?"
Roger blinked before laughing and looking back over at Diana, Barbara and Y/N, "What? Yeah, I'll take one." He took the coffee happily and went to take a sip as he walked away, "Ooh, hot! Hot, hot!"
Y/N watched the man go, furrowing her eyebrows slightly before glancing back at the stone that was in Diana's hands. Barbara let out a small gasp of disbelief, "Did you see that? Can you imagine?"
"If only," Diana whispered.
"Hmm. So many things, I don't even know what I would wish for," Barbara admitted.
Y/N smiled softly as she stared at the stone in Diana's hand before lowering her gaze and moving to look at the other artifacts. She knew exactly what she would wish for if given the chance—to spend more time with Max and Alistair, the two people in the world who made her the happiest she had ever been each time she saw them.
"I do," Diana said, a distant look in her eyes before she set the stone back down. "Well, um, anyway, sorry to bother you. If you need anything, I'm around."
"Oh, yeah, I'm good," Barbara told her. "But thank you for. . ."
"That's okay. It's my job. And I'll look into it more when I have a chance," Diana replied.
"Okay. Well, thanks for. . .talking to me," Barbara added before glancing towards Y/N. "The both of you." She let out an awkward chuckle and looked down bashfully. "I'm. . .I'm sorry, uh. . .I mean, I'm fine."
"You know, we could go and grab early dinner and talk about exactly how lame that stone is," Diana suggested, her words making Barbara look back up at her in surprise.
"Really?" Barbara asked, her voice barely above a whisper and sounding so fragile.
"Yeah, I mean, citrine? Who are they kidding, right?" Diana joked.
"So lame," Barbara agreed between laughs.
"Dorky," Diana added.
"Lame," Barbara said. "That's, like, the lamest of lames."
"Yeah, let's go," Diana told her and Y/N watched as the two began to leave before biting her lip nervously and then running after them.
"Hey, uh. . .if it okay if I come too?" Y/N asked. "My dinner plans kind of flopped and I'd really like to make up for the missed lunch."
Diana watched her silently and Y/N knew she was thinking back to what she had said about going to dinner with Max, but Barbara was already smiling and saying, "Y-yeah. Of course."
Y/N smiled widely. "Great," she said, falling into line with the other two women as they began to head out the building. "Thank you."
And with that, the three made their way out of the building and off to dinner while Barbara silently thanked whoever was looking out for her for putting the two amazing women in her life.

Y/N had to hold back a snort as she leaned back in her chair, laughter shaking her body while she tried to ignore the fact that maybe she had one too many drinks than she should've.
"Wow. You're so funny," Diana said as she looked to Barbara, Y/N quickly nodding in agreement.
"Oh. Thank you," Barbara said a bit surprised seeing as no one had ever told her that before.
"My sides hurt," Y/N admitted, using her hand to brush her hair out of her face as her eyes sparkled at the girls. "I think my smile is now permanently on my face."
"I've got to agree with, Y/N. Wow. I mean, no one's made me laugh like this in such a long time. I mean, it's true, I don't get out much socially, but—" Diana began, but Barbara gave her a loo of disbelief.
"You don't get out much?" Barbara asked.
"No, not really. No," Diana said and Y/N had to hold back her utter of agreement for she knew how anti-social Diana could be if she wanted to, but she didn't want to let her know that she had noticed it.
"I'm sorry," Barbara laughed. "I'm just surprised. Because you just seem like the kind of person who's, like, always out. Like, people are asking you to go out all the time and you live out. You're just out."
The three laughed at that as Barbara began making hand gestures, "Like, you never get in. You just seem like you'd be really popular. And I would know because I've never been popular."
Y/N frowned a little at that, feeling a pang of sympathy for the girl who no one really seemed to give a chance to. "I wasn't popular much either," Y/N assured her. "It happens to the best of us."
That made Barbara laugh and Diana joined before saying, "I'm surprised you two haven't. You're both so personable. So. . .free. I mean, honestly, I gotta say that I envy that."
"What?" Barbara laughed in disbelief. "You envy me? That doesn't make any sense. Oh, my gosh. People think I'm weird. They avoid me and talk behind my back when they don't think I can hear them. I'm like, 'Guys, I can hear you.'" The blonde looked down at that, awkward laughs escaping her lips while both Diana and Y/N looked at her sympathetically.
"Barbara, my life hasn't been what you probably think it has. We all have our struggles," Diana told her.
"She's right. As much as I wish it were true, no one's got a perfect life," Y/N sighed. "Life is good, but it can be better," she whispered like a mantra.
"Yeah, it just sucks," Barbara said and Y/N chuckled softly at that. The blonde let her eyes flicker over to her new friend and she gave her a curious look, "So Y/N, you mentioned earlier that you were supposed to be getting dinner with your man, what happened if you don't mind me asking?"
Said girl let out a soft sigh, her eyes focusing on the glass of wine in her hand and the way the liquid spun as she slowly moved it. "He got caught up at work," she explained with a sad smile.
"You don't sound surprised," Barbara pointed out.
Y/N glanced up to find both women staring intently at her and she just shrugged. "It's happened quite a bit lately, but it's okay," she said. "He's had a lot to deal with, so I'm not mad or anything. I just miss him is all."
"I'm sorry," Barbara frowned. "I know it must be hard."
"It is," Y/N admitted with a sad laugh.
"How long have you guys been together?" Diana asked.
"We'll be coming up on three years next month," Y/N replied, a genuine smile appearing on her lips as she thought about what an accomplishment that was and how lucky she was to have Max.
"Three years? Wow. You must really be in love with the guy," Barbara teased.
"Yeah," Y/N said with a small blush, her thoughts suddenly being consumed with everything that had to do with Max. "He's the love of my life and he has this kid who is just the greatest. I'm very lucky with what I have. I just wish we were able to spend more time together, you know?"
"I get it," Barbara told her, reaching out to gently squeeze the girl's hand in comfort before glancing at Diana. "What about you, Diana, you ever been in love?"
"Uh. . .Yeah. A long, long time ago," Diana told her. "You?"
"So many times, yeah. All the time. Often," Barbara replied instantly making Y/N chuckle softly despite the ache in her heart that had reappeared at the thought of Max. "So what happened? Where'd he go, your guy?"
"He, uh. . .He died," Diana explained, her words making Y/N still. She couldn't imagine the type of pain Diana had to be going through. She didn't know what she would do if Max ever passed away. "But I still think sometimes that I see him up there in the sky. He was a pilot."
"Oh!" Barbara exclaimed.
"That sounds fun," Y/N told the girl. "I bet he was an amazing guy."
"He was all kinds of things, but he was great. It was true," Diana said.
"I get it," Barbara said, her eyes flickering between the two women who were invisibly now thinking about theirs guys. The blonde was quick to pick up her drink, smiling at the two as she said, "Well, cheers to us. Wishing us better luck, I guess."
Y/N smiled softly at that before clinking her glass with the two beside her, but she would only be there in spirit for the rest of the dinner for her thoughts would be on Maxwell Lord.
Just like they always were.
- - -
By the time Y/N got home from dinner, she wanted nothing more than to curl into the embrace of the man that she loved. She knew she should be mad at him for ditching her once again, but she knew what it was like to be busy at work and would never blame him for working hard like he did.
However, she couldn't stop the small pit of despair that was growing in her stomach once she got back to their shared apartment only for the lights to still be off and for Max to be no where in sight.
The girl let out a soft sigh before walking towards their bedroom, stripping off her work clothes in favor of something more comfortable before pulling her hair back into a ponytail as she plopped down on the couch to watch a little TV while she waited for Max to get home.
It was at least another hour before the door opened up, Max tiredly shuffling inside before closing the door behind him. Y/N could already tell that he was tense and she frowned before slowly getting up from the couch, her eyes trailing over the man as he took his jacket off and went to hang it up.
Y/N came up from behind him, her arms snaking around his waist so that she could hug him from behind. She felt him relax under her touch, a small sigh escaping his lips as he leaned back into her while she rested her head against his back.
He sounded tired, but she could still practically hear the smile on his face as he said, "Hey there, sweetheart."
"Hi, Maxie," Y/N whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his back. "How was work?"
"Stressful," Max admitted with a small laugh. "I'm sorry about dinner. I just had a lot I had to deal with today and I didn't realize how long it would take."
"It's alright," she assured him, but Max was already turning around so that he could gently cup the side of her face.
"It's really not and I promise I will make it up to you, alright?" he told her and although she knew he would only forget just like the other times, Y/N still gave him a small nod and a smile in response.
Max smiled and leaned forward to press a kiss to her lips, his arm slowly snaking around her waist and pulling her closer before he pulled away and went to sit down on the couch. He held onto her hand and dragged her along beside him, pulling her down into his lap as he wrapped his arms around her waist and looked to her with a small smile.
"How was your day?" he asked. "A lot better than mine, I hope."
"It was the same as every other day," she told him, her eyes closing slightly in content as he pressed a small kiss to her neck before holding her tight and resting his face in the crook of her neck. "Just a lot of paperwork as always. I met a new coworker today at work named Barbara and went to dinner with her and Diana."
Max hummed in response before muttering, "Sounds like fun."
"It was," Y/N said. "Oh, and we got a shipment from the FBI with all of these cool artifacts."
Max hesitated at that and pulled his head away from her neck in order to look at her. His eyes sparkled with curiosity as he asked, "What kind of artifacts?"
Knowing that her boyfriend was intrigued, Y/N smiled and continued, not seeming to notice the way Max looked off into space as she spoke. "Apparently the mall heist the other day revealed the jewelry store was selling stuff on the black market. We got a big shipment of all sorts of artifacts. I only got to glance at a few, but there was this one gemstone looking one that I saw with this engraving on it. Diana said it mentioned something about making wishes with it and—"
It was then that she noticed Max's behavior, the way he was just staring off while being so quiet she would've assumed he was asleep if it weren't for the fact that his eyes were still open. "Max?" she questioned, her gaze flickering over him until he finally seemed to hear her voice and blinked himself back to reality.
His eyes flickered her way and she gave him a confused look. "Are you okay?" she asked.
"Of course," he told her, sending that smile of his in her direction that made her heart skip a beat. "I just love listening to you talk is all." He pulled her closer to his body if that was even possible, pressing a small kiss to her cheek before whispering, "I love you."
Y/N didn't even have time to blink before he was closing the distance between them, his lips capturing hers perfectly while his hands slowly moved under her shirt before resting upon her hips. She couldn't help the way that her eyes fluttered closed and she knew her face was heating up due to the intensity of the kiss that literally came out of no where.
When Max pulled away, Y/N was sure her face had gone bright red, but thankfully the only light in the room was coming from a lamp nearby which meant that her blush was semi-hidden by the darkness.
"What was that for?" she asked breathlessly.
Max just shrugged with a small smile as he whispered, "I love you."
"Yeah, yeah," she chuckled, her eyes fluttering closed once again as he felt him slowly begin to kiss down her neck. She leaned back with a heavy sigh while Max smirked against her skin.
"I love you so much," Max whispered, his emotions heightened even more as he tried to process how his beautiful girlfriend had been able to help him achieve his dream without even realizing it.
Y/N let out a breathy laugh as she opened her eyes to look at the man, taking note of the way his eyes seemed to sparkle as he stared at her. "Oh, really? How much?" Y/N asked, smirking at the man who merely chuckled before pulling her up off the couch with him.
His eyes were practically flashing at her as he slowly began to back her towards their bedroom, his lips curving up into a smile as he whispered, "Let me show you."

Hard pass 2 (Levi x Reader)
Tumblr media
I'm a little concerned about how little time I took on the ending for the last part so I'm gonna put a little more time into this one. Hope you guys enjoy. :)
Synopsis: Levi is forced out of his comfy dorm room and in a strange twist of events right into your arms at a college party.
Levi was transfixed to say the least. He'd spent the past hour that he'd been back in his dorm room staring into a freshly made cup of black tea. The small jingling of keys in the door shaking him from his daze.
"Hello, Hello Leviathan." Mike greeted, tossing his bag to the side haphazardly.
Any other time Levi would've rolled his eyes but he just let out an agitated huff.
"Uh oh.. I know that look." Mike announced plopping down onto his unmade bed. "Who's the lucky girl?" He asked his smirk bright.
Levi's hair whipped against his cheek as he turned to Mike. "What are you on about? Who told you?" Probably Hange. Damn four eyes could never keep her mouth shut.
"No one had to." Mike laughed "You've just told me basically everything I need to know. Your distracted gaze when I came in the room, having very little reaction to me calling you Leviathan, your tea cup is still full and my side of the room is still messy." He seemed a little too pleased about that last bit.
"I know you went out tonight." He continued
"And what about it?"
"Who is she?!" Mike stood coming closer to sit on the edge of Levi's desk.
Levi rolled his eyes setting his cup down.
"Come on, I'm curious about some mysterious girl that has Levi Ackerman wrapped around her finger."
"Just shut up already." Levi replied turning his gaze to the window with a small pout.
"Fine, fine I'll shut up." Mike stood heading back towards his side of the room. An idea suddenly popped into his mind and he turned on his heel. "But.. I think I'll give Hange a call. You know.. cause I haven't talked to her in a bit-"
"When did you become so annoying?" Levi grumbled
"You're more aggressive tonight I like it. Is it because of her?"
As much as Levi wanted to fight it, Mike was one of those people that always got information about literally anything if he genuinely wanted it. Even if he didn't find out from Hange or Levi he was definitely going to find out from even the weirdest sources.
"Hange's friend.. she's not ugly I guess.." Levi could feel his face growing warm and he pulled his feet up onto his desk chair to hide it.
Mike laughed obnoxiously, "It's like watching a little kid finding out what a crush is." He chuckled "Super cute. So when are you going to ask her out?"
"Never."
Mike crossed the room again, seating himself on his bed. "You can't be serious! This is the first time I've ever seen you interested in girls and you're just gonna let her get away?"
"Stay out of my business, Michelangelo."
Mike just huffed reaching into his pocket to pry his phone out of his pocket. The room quickly grew quiet as Levi turned to his laptop though he was quickly distracted again by Mike's little chuckles. He turned his head in Mike's direction quickly catching the other male's gaze.
"By the way, Hange agrees with me." He said pointing to his phone.
Levi groaned, tugging at his hair. "Eat shit."
~ ~ ~ ~
Levi stared down at his watch with a soft tch.
It was 4pm and Hange was late again. He turned to Erwin who's face was currently pressed into a book. Thumb sliding along the sentences as he read.
"Where the hell is she?" He grumbled, shaking his mouse back and forth as the screen began to dim.
"She said she had to do something after class so she'd be a little late." Erwin replied, without looking up from his book.
"That's her excuse every time." Levi replied with a roll of his eyes.
Erwin just shrugged. Hange was always late. Sometimes she just showed up 30 minutes late with no real explanation and sometimes she showed up an hour late saying she had, had something to do after class. But every time the three of them got together to study she was late.
"Yo! Levi!" Hange greeted as she walked into the library ignoring the chorus of shushing that followed her.
Levi's scowl deepened, "Were you stuck on the toilet waiting for someone to fuck off?" He asked
"I have a great surprise follow me." She clapped in delight.
Erwin looked to Levi and then in the direction Hange had left in. He slowly pushed his chair out looking at Levi's irritated scowl.
"Are you coming."
"Whatever it is, is definitely stupid knowing Hange." Levi retorted, packing his belongings up in an orderly fashion.
The two of them quickly left before Hange could come back to ruin the peace again. They pushed through the library doors and standing against the wall with a somewhat bashful expression was Y/N with Hange who smiled brightly as if she wasn't currently disturbing Levi's peace.
"Oh hello Y/N." Erwin greeted, he looked over at Levi before asking. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh well Hange invited-"
"Ah ha ha! Y/N has homework to do so I figured she could come study with us. Though today me and Erwin have a thing." She quickly grabbed Erwin's arm yanking him over to her.
"But I was-" Erwin tried but was instantly silenced by Hange's hand over his mouth.
"You and Levi can study. Levi's great with everything! Right Levi? Ok me and Erwin will go now, by you two!"
"Hange!" Levi tried, his face already flushed with heat over the whole situation. Hange was surprisingly fast though, managing to drag Erwin away so quick they were a couple of dots within seconds.
Levi and Y/N stood in silence for a couple seconds before Y/N let out a deep exhale. "I feel as though we've been set up." She says, toying with the zippers on her back.
Levi can only manage a grunt in reply. Not daring to look into her eyes. "Well I mean.." she starts turning to Levi. "I actually do.. have to study so.. I wouldn't mind if you don't." She shrugged
"Mm.." Levi pulled open the library door for Y/N and lead her over the seats that him and Erwin had been sitting in only moments before.
He made a mental note as he opened his laptop again to keep the door locked next time Hange said she was coming over. Around 10 minutes went by of complete silence and Levi was incredibly happy for it.
Not because he was focusing, no his attention had been completely taken away from any possible work he could've gotten done here. There was no way he was actually going to be able to do anything when your scent was trapped in his nose and his eyes kept staring over his screen at your fingers.
Knuckles that Levi honestly wanted to kiss and fingernails completely devoid of dirt which Levi was instantly captivated by.
"Hey-"
He sat up straight, his own hands slightly curling around the aged wood of the table. Your book came sliding toward him and he looked down at it before looking back at you.
"I don't really get this? Could you help me a bit?"
Levi nodded before his brain could properly process what you'd asked. He almost thought he imagined the way your lip tucked itself under your teeth. And he felt dazed as your scent washed over him all at once as you slid into the seat next to him.
You pointed to your book and Levi tried to pay attention to your question but your notes threw him a bit. All the words were written in different colors and there were squiggly lines around definitions and texts. Small doodles between paragraphs as a way to properly space them and stars next to the most important words.
You scratched at your scalp and he took notice. "I paid attention when my professor was going over this I swear. But I don't really get it?? It can't be as difficult as I'm making it in my head." Your giggle of nervousness took Levi back a little.
The warm pit in his chest deepened and he sighed, trying to accurately assess the situation.
"Y-you made a small.. mathematical error." He explained, his fingers pointed to the equation as he tried to push away the ball in his throat. "You don't need these numbers."
Her smile hit Levi like a truck as it was instantly directed towards him. "Ah, you're so smart." Y/N said "What about this? I checked with the calculator but my answer was way off."
It was hard for Levi to ignore the way your shoulder rubbed up against his sending sparks all through his body like a tidal wave. It was honestly a little overwhelming.
"Oh sorry, am I too close?" You moved away and Levi gulped. He stared at your fingers, he didn't want you to move away.
He was surprised when he looked up and instantly made eye contact with you. "Stay." It probably didn't come out the way he'd wanted but he'd managed it and on some level he was proud of himself.
You smiled, "Sure."
After a while Levi felt himself loosen up a bit but the knot in his stomach was still very much there and alive. He found himself chuckling at your little jokes and he was mostly able to look you in the eyes. (As long as you didn't smile directly at him).
The first hour had been studying with small quips from your end that Levi found he enjoyed. Though around the third hour it turned into horror stories about present and past roommates.
Your laugh was so bright as you tapped your pen cap against the table. "And then Sasha just cracks the window open though it's definitely too late cause Connie had already created a war zone in our room." You were shaking so much from laughter that Levi was honestly a little worried you'd fall out of your chair.
He shook his head where he was resting it in his palm. "I still think Mike forgetting the do not disturb sign was worse." He shrugged
"Mm well maybe someday I'll have a story that bad. Considering Connie and Sasha have been playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse for two years now."
Levi shook his head. "You don't want to walk in on your roommate having sex. No one does.."
He felt his cheeks flush over again. Whether it was from the story or the way you'd playfully pushed his shoulder though he couldn't tell. He watched as you positioned yourself back in the seat next to him.
"Ok, ok. You told me about your roommates relationships. Now tell me about yours."
"What?"
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes. "You know the in and out of Levi. I'm curious."
Levi's gaze fell to the table. "There's nothing to tell."
Y/N's voice immediately softened. "Sorry, didn't mean to try and pull it out of you."
Levi picked up his head closing his laptop. "I-I just.. never felt that way.." he tried
"Not everyone goes to college and high school and stuff for the parties, drugs and sex." You said, laying your elbows against the desk. "I commend you for having a goal and sticking with it."
Levi's heart stuttered at your words. "Did you come.. or well.. umm? What did you-"
He was interrupted by your hand on his shoulder again. "To answer your question." You leaned in closer your breath tickling Levi's earlobe. "Yes I did come specifically for the drugs."
Levi's eyes practically bulged out of his head. This time when you laughed you were met with shushing and stares. "Sorry." You whispered, popping a hand over your mouth. "I'm completely joking." You then said to Levi who's shoulders relaxed with the information.
Levi's signature deadpanned expression was starting to make an appearance now. "That's not funny."
"Hmm.. well I'm laughing so." Y/N laid her head on the table.
"Your humor is shit." He said
"Funny you say that." She laughed back a smirk was playing at Levi's lips. "Hey." Y/N broke the lingering silence.
"What?"
"Give me your number."
"Tch, nice way to ask."
Y/N pretended to be shocked. "Oh, would you prefer I beg?"
Levi already knew how red his entire face had become. No need to check a mirror. "H-hand me your p-phone."
Unsurprisingly even her phone wa as cute. And Levi honestly wanted to admire the case and how warm it felt after being in your pockets. Oh.. you'd touched it with your warm hands. Levi couldn't help but think about how warm your hands must feel. How the spaces between your fingers looked so perfect. Like they-
"Hey." A voice shook Y/N and Levi.
"Jean, what're you doing here?" Y/N asked as she stood moving closer to him.
"You've been gone all day. I had to ask Sasha where you were."
"No, you didn't because you didn't need to come here." Y/N crossed her arms over her chest, pulling her hands into the sleeves of her hoodie. Her eyebrows scrunched together.
"Who's this?" Jean asked gesturing to Levi with his head. Levi felt his chest flare a little.
"Ugh, it doesn't matter because it has nothing to do with you!" She quickly grabbed her bag stuffing her notebook inside. "I'll talk to you later Levi." She explained her face still completely unamused. And with that she was pushing Jean out the door following him right out.
Levi's fingers dug into his palm. Who was that? It couldn't have been her boyfriend right? No, no that didn't make sense.
He started to pack up himself when he noticed your pretty phone sat next to his ordinary black one.
~ ~ ~ ~
Levi practically slammed into his dorm room scaring Mike who had his music blasting. Levi set his bag down on his chair, placing his phone on the desk.
"Hey man." Mike greeted as Levi quickly unpacked his other stuff. "I heard Hange forced you to go on a study date."
"I'm going to murder her." Levi turned, practically slamming his notebook into the desk. So hard that he could've sworn Mike jumped.
"Yeah what else is new?" He laughed trying to clear the air. "But did you at least get in close?"
Levi rolled his eyes. "She's.. there's this guy.."
Mike grew quiet for a few seconds. "You think she's with him?"
Levi normally wouldn't indulge Mike like this but his chest felt so tight that he was pretty sure he was going to burst. "She didn't seem happy to see him. She was like rolling her eyes when he came."
"Maybe he's just some guy then?"
"What if he isn't?"
"By the way you're describing it they'll break up soon anyway." Mike said "But that's great my plan worked."
Levi narrowed his eyes, "The library thing was you?"
Mike shrugged, "Hey, It could've been worse! Hange wanted to lock you guys in a supply closet for the night."
"Sleep with one eye open." Levi huffed, placing your phone down on his desk.
Mike immediately noticed, sitting up and placing his own phone to the side. "Don't tell me you murdered her and stole her phone for having a boyfriend that wasn't you." He chuckled
"Tch, she accidentally left it."
"How are you gonna return it?"
"I'll ask Hange for her dorm number tomorrow and I'll hand it over then."
"Ooo, well I would tell you not to go looking through her phone while you have it. But you're not like me so.." Mike shrugged, laying down with both hands holding his phone above his head.
Levi looked at Mike and then at your phone sitting on his desk. He silently looked away, putting away the rest of his stuff with a huff.

A/n This is for my Thruce Magni Au. You can also find this on AOA
This was enough.

It was the middle of the night, well he thought it was anyway. He couldn't really tell in space but he assumed it was night. Thor had been staring at the star swirls that litter the vacuum of space. Even though he has seen it a million times, it still was breath-taking. But it wasn't making him worry less for his people, for his light and hope-Bruce.
Glancing down from the window, he sees his light and hope breathing softly in a deep slumber. It wasn't the only person who was sleeping though, a small bundle of fur and cloth was squished between them. Their son, their beautiful precious baby boy that they called Magni. The name means 'great' and the name suits him so well. Even as a baby, he can see the strength and might his son processes. He can tell that Magni will hold the crown with an iron grip.
He combed through Bruce's grey mess curls as he stared in awe, how did he deserve this? This person that outshines any star that he has ever seen.
"Thor?" A small whisper escaped the man.
"Did I awake you my beloved?" His hand lowered from his curls and started to caress his cheek,
"You think too loud."
Thor snorted, "Can't be too loud if Magni is still sleeping."
Bruce gave him a small smile before turning serious, his features scrunched up in worry. "What's wrong?"
Thor's first instinct was to lie and say 'everything is okay and nothing is wrong' but he knows that lying wouldn't get him anywhere. He sighed and pulled away his hand. "I am...Troubled and worried."
"Worried about Asgard?"
"About you."
There was a beat of silence before Thor explained.
"I'm worried that I'm not enough for you, That I'm not able to provide you with my love." He inhaled before continuing. "I am unable to give my people food and support and if I cannot do that...Then how can I be a worthy lover...A worthy father."
Shuffling was heard and he could see that Bruce had picked up Magni and shifted closer to Thor. "Thor, you're a great king and everyone on this ship knows you're trying hard to support them with their needs." He could see Bruce's eyes calculating his next words in his head.
"You're also more than enough for me...For Magni." His eyes flickered from his sleeping son to Bruce. "The only thing I need from you is your love and your determination to come back to us after every battle. If its from the battlefield on the ground or the battlefield in that big brain of yours."
The God of Thunder chuckled as his lover stroked his cheek to wipe away the tears that he didn't know that he had shed. He smiled and kissed into Bruce's palm as love and adoration fuelled his gaze. "You always know what to say my beloved."  Bruce just simply huffed and rested his head on his chest. "Someone has to use their brain in this relationship."
Thor laughed this time, his laughter vibrating through his family that he held, this must've woken Magni up as he started babble in interest.
"Our little prince is awake." Bruce mused.
Thor kissed the top of Magni's forehead which made him squeal with happiness. His small chubby hands balled into fists as if trying to battle the thoughts that plagued his father's mind.
It warmed his heart.
This moment that they share now, he wants to relish it forever and possibly he could if he wanted to, but he knows that duty will call in a few hours. So in this time that they have to spare, he cuddles his family close and closes his eyes.
This was enough.

Part one here
Part three here
Part four here
Part Five here
Part Six here

I tagged some of the people who commented and requested a part 2! Hope you like it!!! :)
-----
You were wrong about things changing. When Azula returned home it was as if nothing ever happened. She was the exact same with you and never mentioned the islands or acknowledged that you’d even accompanied her there. She met your eye as easily as she always did, none of the nervousness you’d seen when you told her your preference. You wondered if you’d imagined the nervous flustered girl when this professional calculating princess was infront of you. You carried on serving Azula as you always did, ignoring the dull feeling in your stomach unaware Azula had indeed been thinking about you, a lot, but was a master of hiding her emotions.
Firelord Ozai had thrown a party to welcome his generals and war leaders and basically to show how strong the firenation was. It was one of the biggest parties you’d seen in years and so every single servant was needed including you, meaning tonight you were just a waitress serving the nobels drinks, you didn’t have to assist Azula. You didn't mind that and were suprised you felt that way but thought some time away from Azula might help you, Azula did not think so...
Azula’s POV
Azula was not enjoying herself at this party, sure there were pleanty of nobels to intimidate and Zuko to embarass but she just felt...off. She suspected it had something to do with the fact you were serving everyone and not just her, everytime she thought about it she got angry. She spotted you with a tray in a common uniform as opposed to the regal striking colours of her uniform and felt the anger rise again. "There were no other servants?" Azula asked her father bitterly. Ozai looked at her fleetingly and frowned "why does it matter?". "Y/n is my maid, my personal maid, she belongs to me, she’s not some common serving girl". Azula was agitated, she liked having you follow her, always near if she needed you but now you had other priorities. Azula’s father watched her and his frown grew "i didn’t know you’d become so dependent on her...that you cared for her". "I don’t" Azula said outraged at what that suggested. "You refer to her by her first name and you use that informality to talk to me about her, the firelord, if you hadn’t been looking at her I’d have no idea that was even who you were talking about, she’s a nameless servant to me but to you y/n". Azula felt exposed and quickened to correct her mistake "I’ve simply had her a while that is all, I am merely angry I am being inconvenienced while Zuko is allowed his servants" Azula explained attempting to shift her fathers focus onto Zuko, which cleverly almost worked but her father came back to the topic. "Perhaps you have had her too long, would you prefer a newer hand? You must be sick of her". Azula treaded carefully and calculated her words as she looked down "she’s the best servant I’ve ever had, that’s why she’s lasted so long, I would keep her". Azula made sure she kept her voice calm and casual, she had spoke confidently and without feeling but she still saw her father pause. "No" he said suddenly and Azula felt her stomach dip "I do not want you to keep her, you will be assigned a new maid on Monday". Azula swallowed, only 5 days away, that all she had? Why did that make her so uncomfortable? No scared, she felt scared. She was processing all this when she became aware her father was waiting for a reply and looked at him nodding her head slightly "as you wish father". "Since you claim so much ownership of her I will let you choose where she next goes" he told Azula "have an answer by Monday". Azula nodded bowing as her father walked away and stared after him. She breathed deeply trying to control the anger she felt, she wanted to scorch this entire room but she couldn't, instead she pressed her fingers tight into her palm until she could feel that more than her rage.
Your POV
Azula was out of sorts, even from across the room at your post you knew Azula well enough to tell the signs something had upset her. She was usually put together, polite to the right people, calm and witty but she’d drank more than you’d ever see her do. She seemed to have no interest in talking to the important members of the party or even her friends for that matter, you watched from your corner as she snapped at Mai and stormed away angrily. She stomped onto the balcony and you watched her go. Your tray of drinks was empty so you went to refill it. You came back and edged to the balcony after making a discrete sweep of the room. Azula was leaning on the balcony with her arms staring down at the city below, her head low, You had no idea what was wrong but felt a pang to see her like that. "Princess" you said softly and Azula jumped before realising it was you "don’t you have a job?". "I do" you nodded "I thought you might need refreshments" gesturing to your tray. Azula shook her head and you turned the tray "there’s water in this one" you said pointing to the one at the back you’d kept hidden. Azula took it hastily without saying anything and drained it. "Has anyone noticed I'm gone?". You looked back to the room and shook your head "your father has retired and some have started leaving, most will follow within the next half hour, an hour at most". Azula groaned "I can’t wait that long! All these boring insignifcant people pleasers I have to listen to and smile at!". You understood Ozai put a lot on the princess. He always expected Azula to linger when he left, leave a lasting impression, spy on others and report it all back to him. You watched her worried "zuko is still here, you could leave it up to him for once?". "And let him get my father's praise?" Azula barked at you "I think not, no I will stay". You nodded at her, it wasn’t your place to question her "as you wish princess" and returned to the party.
Azula was true to her word and remained until every single guest had gone. She hadn’t snook away like Ozai or Zuko, she stayed and kept up the family reputation. Azula kept up the facade despite the slight slump in her posture, and the hand that she pressed to her stomach and the paleness of her skin. You no longer had to serve drinks so were back to being Azula’s but as she hadn’t given you an order you just stood watching as she dismissed guests, willing them to hurry up so she could rest.
Finally the last group of nobels finished their conversation with Azula, thanked her for the invitation and left. The door closed and you gave a quick look around to ensure the other servants had the clean up organised and approached Azula. "Princess, shall i escort you to your room?". Azula nodded her head and you made you way to the private exits and opened the door for her. She followed looking down, eyes narrowed, her stomach making noises. She stumbled slightly and you offered her your arm. She looked at you with a frown and you looked away "there’s nobody to see and you know I will not tell, I am your servant". Azula took your arm and leant heavily on you. You were practically supporting her whole weight, despite her being taller than you, not that you minded. You reached her room and were let in by the guards. You sat her on a chair and brought her water. You lowered the lights, drew the curtains and made all the touches to the room Azula liked. Azula watched you softly and then groaned rushing to her bathroom. You followed and pulled her hair away, patting her back until she was done. Azula didn’t push you away or yell at you as she usually did to anyone who showed her kindness, she was too weak. You helped walk/carry her back to the chair and asked permission to prepare her for bed. She nodded and you helped remove all her jewellery and makeup, you tied her hair out of her face and laid out some clothes for her. You looked unsure from Azula to the clothes as she made no attempt to get up. Eventually she sighed "just help me into them y/n, i don’t mind". You were shocked but didn’t show it and helped her dress. Azula watched your behaviour carefully for any roamimg eyes or blush but you were in professional mode and she was almost disappointed. You helped her walk to bed and wrapped the quilt and blankets over her. Azula felt so helpess and weak, you’d just had to do everything for her, nobody had done that for her since she was a child. That made her angry, she hated being helped or needing anyone but the thought you soon wouldn’t be here to do that anymore made her forget her anger.
You stood watching Azula and she realised you were waiting to be dismissed. "You may leave if you wish y/n" she said quietly and you nodded but hesitated "but will you be alright..?". Azula smiled softly, her eyelids heavy "you worry about me?". You nodded "of course princess so what if...". "Azula" she corrected you and you blinked suprised, she had never asked you to call her by her name here in the palace before. You composed youself and carried on "what if I stayed Azula to ensure you are okay, what if you need something and I am not here?".
Again some part of Azula’s brain was angered by that comment, she did not need anyone, but another part was touched you cared enough to worry about her, she realised she wanted you to stay and fuss over her. Azula nodded to you "stay then, you can sleep on the sofa". She gestured weakly to one nearby and you nodded taking a seat. "Take a blanket" Azula said softly and you were suprised but obeyed and took one from the drawer. "Do you require anything else or do you wish to sleep now Azula?” you asked. Azula shook her head “Turn off the light I want to sleep” and the room was evoked in darkness. Azula watched your outline in the dark go back to the sofa and watched as you laid down. She closed her eyes but saw your face and felt a pang knowing you’d soon be gone, away from the palace and her when she needed you. She needed someone she trusted, someone to care for her like you did. Someone, suprised as she was to admit, that she felt a fondness for. Azula never cried but for some reason right then with her father's order on her mind and you mere feet away she wanted to bawl.
------
I made a part two! I love writing for Azula, especially showing her normal sweeter side but it’s hard because I always want to make her really soft and cute but have to remind myself that not how she’d act!

👻It's concept night👻 We're starting the New Year off right. Maybe...
Let's talk about Andy Barber. He's a cool man, right? Composed? Even after all the shit that happened with his son? Sure...Sure (for context, Jacob and Laurie are A-Okay in this scenario. Just a non-nuclear family). But Andy is also a divorced father who has to start over his life in a new state. (He seems like he'd move to Maine or something, idk). So if anything, his confidence at this point is solely faked (or at least over inflated). That facade drops when he gets home and he lets himself be vulnerable. He just wants to feel whole again after the separation of his family.
For a week and a half, Andy didn't feel any different in this new town working at their DAs office. His coworkers were kind enough, but he could tell they were just being friendly. He didn't think they actually cared. That was before the last member of the team finally came back from PTO. The bubbly, bright woman with the office right next to his – you.
You were the first genuine person Andy met in a long time. Not only did you start to make him feel like a part of the organization, but at the new town as a whole. Andy felt like he might have been too hasty in speaking, but he thought he was developing a little crush on you. He hadn't felt butterflies in a while, but they were there.
Let's skip a little bit of time. Your office planed to celebrate a big win at the bar. Andy planned on turning in for the night, but when he saw your big eyes pleading for him to come (and dare he say, your lip poking out at him?), he couldn't say no. He could spare an hour or two at the sports bar to see your pretty smile.
Boy...was Andy starting to feel himself. Too soon, too, because when you showed up later...you had another guy on your arm. His arm was rested over your shoulder and you were standing a little too close to have been friendly. When you spotted Andy, you smiled, walking up to him and introducing the guy and your boyfriend.
Boyfriend? You had a fucking boyfriend? What the hell was all that you were doing in the office? Andy wasn't trying to be your "work boyfriend" or whatever dumbass thing Neal used to joke about.
I want to pause and ask you now: do you think Andy would let his little crush go, or would he still try and pursue it? Andy's a lawyer, he'd have no problem explaining to you why your boyfriend isn't as good as him lol. How would you react if Andy Barber—you're coworker—expressed his feelings to you?
warning: K did not do much proofreading :/ please excuse and past/present-tense mixing smh
When you first meet Andy you’re pleasantly surprised do you know about his unfortunate circumstances the same way everyone else does of course. But you’re the only person who sees Andy. You never judge him and you guys always eat together for lunch. When Neil jokes about you being his work why do you both laugh it off and always call Andy a friend. But as you work on more cases and the nights get longer Andy isn’t laughing anymore. He sees you he gets you like no other person. He just has to show you and make you believe!
This Andy is calculated and I believe he would do everything and anything in his power to prove to you that your current boyfriend is the wrong choice by any means. Maybe he gets fired from his job or the police are alerted and his apartment gets rated (in which they fine a very very dangerous and concentrated substance). Andy knows you’ll be devastated and sad that you’re alone because while he might not be your boyfriend yet Andy knows so much more about you than He ever could.
Fast-forward you got a little too drunk at the holiday Christmas party and Andy volunteered to take you home but persuade you to come to a very nice hotel instead. He gets up in them guts and it’s the best sex you’ve ever had but you instantly feel guilty for cheating on your boyfriend and leave before he awakes without a word. Andy wants to talk to you about it at work but your dynamic is almost never the same not for a while anyway. You always feel a little on edge at work but you don’t know why.
You may have turned him down once before but never again. Andy would never let his little crush go because Andy is a real man(it’s not a crush) it’s love and not even his wife could make him feel this way. He will make you see that he is the only one for you. ( So personally I would laugh it off at first because his wife and child just died and I would chalk it up to him being a charming and sincere person. Overtime I think it would become explicitly clear that Andy has romantic feelings for me and I would attempt to change the subject or find something to do in order to not let him down but also be loyal to my boyfriend even if the boyfriend is a slight bum in light of recent events😉)

If this could trigger you or set you off in any way possible, I urge you not to read it. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, please reach out and get help. You are not alone. Always keep fighting.
Even when things were okay, I still never feared death. I've been on the edge many times; never quite falling off, but never quite holding on either.
A lot of people say overdosing was their rock bottom. It wasn't for me. Heroin is a strong word, and sometimes it even shocks me when I say it. Weird, right?
In health class as a teenager, I saw the pictures of drug addicted people and made a pact with myself in my head that I'd never become one of those people and here I am. I guess I should explain how I got here, though.
« FLASHBACK »
Why did I snort that line? My nose burns, my brain hurts, and my whole body feels like it's buzzing. I'm not exactly sure where the cocaine came from or why exactly I did it but I know that I have to get out of here and fast.
Parties aren't usually my scene, but I figured since it was my last day as a teenager I might as well indulge. My surroundings aren't familiar, just some college frat party that I knew of because I attend school here, but other than that I really have no idea where I am or how I got here.
I'm searching for the exit, pushing past sweaty bodies and other young adults who reek of alcohol and marijuana. I gave up hope halfway through the search because it feels almost as if though it's impossible, so when my eyes land on the staircase in front of me I sigh gratefully.
The door at the end of the hallway is propped open slightly; a large rock wedged between so it couldn't close. The loud music was causing my ears to ring so I walked as quickly as I could and became elated when I realized the door at the end of the hallway leading to outside, giving me a chance to get some fresh air.
I push the door open and realize it's heavier than I first assumed, so I try and let it close behind me gently so it doesn't knock rock out of place. I inhale deeply and look around, only to be met with the fact that I'm on the roof somehow.
"Wow," I mutter, and make my way towards the edge of the building; my shoes making the gravel of the rooftop crunch along the way. I peered over the ledge, and for a second considered flying.
Worse case scenario, I land flat on the pavement, ultimately dying in the process or I make it to the rooftop across the way. I step onto the ledge, squat and then sit; dangling my legs over the side of the building.
My heart is pounding a hundred miles a minute, and all of a sudden tears start streaming down my face.
"I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend," I gasp out of shock because I didn't realize that I wasn't alone up here—and also because a random man is singing to me. I turn my head to face the mystery man and am pleasantly surprised. "You could cut ties with all the lies, that you've been living in," He continues, and I recognize the song and join in with him.
“And if you do not want to see me again, I would understaaaand. I would understaaand," We both sing in unison, and the stranger lets out a fit of giggles which makes me laugh in return.
"So Miss, how are you on this lovely night?" He questions.
"You aren't even going to ask me my name?" I inquire with a grin.
"Nope, don't need to." I nod in response, pretending to understand why.
“I'm doing well, by the way." I add.
"That's amazing.. or.. would be, if you were telling the truth." I cock my brow up, and he quickly adds, "I mean you wouldn't be sitting on the ledge for nothing, right?"
I shake my head in disagreement. "That's where you've got it wrong, sir."
"Sir? Do I really look that old?" He jokes.
"No, but I'm not sure what to call you since we don't need to know each other's names." The stranger sits beside me and lets his legs dangle over the building as well. I take a closer look at his features that are illuminated by the street lights below and I am captivated.
The ridge of his nose, the length of his lashes and his eyes—Wow, his eyes. It's dark, but I can tell that they're brown with a swirl of honey and it reminds me of a Hershey's bar.
"So, did you find what you were looking for?" He asks, and I shake my head no for the second time. "Well then what are you doing?" I shrug. "You're not very talkative, are you?" He asks, seeming genuinely curious.
"I am, but I'm not sure what to say. I'm at a party, drunk and high off coke, sitting with a stranger on the edge of the roof; trying to come up with something I could tell you but I'm at a loss for words here." The man gives me a goofy grin in return.
"Well. We'll probably never see each other again, so why don't you tell me your biggest secret?" I laugh out loud.
"Sir, I've known you for mere minutes and you want me to do something like that? Strange." I mumble in awe.
"I'm not from around here, so I couldn't possibly hold it against you in any way."
"Why did you come here then?" I ask.
"Free booze."
"Interesting. Here—I'll make you a deal. I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours." I whisper cheekily to him and he nods his head, agreeing.
"Sure. Okay. Let's start," he thinks for a moment, "My guilty pleasure is Lazy Town, the kids show."
"Ha! That's an awful secret, shame on you!" I reply but laughing while doing so.
"Fine, fine. Um, when I was seventeen I slept with my best mate's girlfriend. He still doesn't know." He whispers guiltily.
"Wow, that's pretty deep. Are they still together?" He nods.
"Been together for eight years, married for three—with two kids."
I chuckle, "How do you know you aren't the baby daddy?"
"Timeline doesn't add up—trust me, I did the calculations as soon as she told everyone she was pregnant the summer after we graduated high school," He trailed off but then turned his head towards me, "Your turn."
I gulp, and try and think of something.
"Um... Well, I might as well go all out then. My parents are both government officials. Amelia and Doug Anderson?" I throw the names out to see if he recognizes them.
"Holy shit," He marvels. "You're Gwendolyn Anderson. I should have recognized you as soon as I seen you! You and your parents are all over TV." I sigh.
"Yeah. But call me Gwen, I hate it when people call me Gwendolyn. Anyways—That's not exactly my secret." I look towards him and he motions for me to continue.
"I don't know why I'm telling you this but.. here we go. My entire life, I've felt like the weight of the world has been on my shoulders. Ever since I was a kid my parents have been pushing me to be the best in every category there has been or ever will be. My senior year of high school was the worst, obviously because of the impending doom of getting into the best college and working on getting scholarship offers; meanwhile keeping all A's, playing volleyball and volunteering."
I continued, glancing back now and then to see if he was still paying attention and he was alert the entire time. "It got to the point where.. I needed some extra help. Adderall was basically my scapegoat and how I functioned for the entire year. My parents were so busy being wrapped up in their own lives and pushing me to my limit that they never discovered I lost myself along the way. Now I'm in college, and I'm still trying to find my way back to a happy medium. But when I looked down at the ground, I realized that for some reason it doesn't even matter anymore."
"And what do you mean by that?"
"Have you ever gotten to the point where you feel like you're just numb? Everything is grey scale and there's no color at all? I'm just going through the motions. There's no highs or lows; only this weird middle ground. I thought coming to this party tonight and getting trashed would make me feel better but it didn't change anything." He nods, knowingly. I can tell he understands. He rests his left hand on top of my right one and somehow it felt like my body couldn't get any hotter.
I should be scared, uncomfortable even. I just met this guy and don't even know his name but I'm letting him touch me like we've been friends all our lives. A sudden thought makes me speak up.
"You know, it's not really fair that you get to know my name and I don't know yours." He chuckles.
“It's Gabriel." I smile because it's very fitting. He looks like a Gabriel.
"That's a beautiful name."
He laughs, "Beautiful? More like average. Your name is beautiful."
"I wholeheartedly disagree. I have a grandma name, at least yours fits your age no matter how old you are." He smiles. We sit in silence, his hand still resting on top of mine and I take another look down at the ground.
"How long do you think it would take to reach the ground?" I ask as if he'd actually know the answer.
"For a suicidal person? Too long. For a person just looking for some answers, too fast."
“How do you know which is which?" Gabriel lets out a grunt and laughs.
"Well, do you want to die?" He asks, raising his voice but continues smiling; which is oddly contagious.
"I don't think I'd ever do anything to speed up the process, so ultimately no. Probably not."
"I guess there's an answer then." Gabriel replies.
"An answer?"
"Yeah, the one of many you're looking for. I won't have them all, though."
"B-But I thought you were an all-knowing wizard!" I gasp out sarcastically.
"No, no. But... I maybe might have one.. just for now,"
I raise my eyebrow again and ask, "What might that be?" Gabriel reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tiny baggie with pills inside of it.
"You might like these," he whispers gently.
"Ah, man. I don't know--"
“I'm sure drugs weren't the first thing you thought of, but maybe they'll help you forget until tomorrow." I sigh and stick my hand out apprehensively.
"What are they?" I question.
"Percocet. Strongest prescription." I nod, remember hearing some of my peers talking about it previously this week. I swallow two of them without a second thought.
« FLASHBACK OVER »
I look down at the person who brought me into this mess, and his face is quickly turning a light shade of blue.
"Gabe, God, You fucking idiot! I told you not to do that much!" I shout and dial 911 as quickly as possible.
The next thing I know, I'm sitting on the front porch steps of his apartment as they're carrying him away on a stretcher. My best friend is dead, and I can officially say I'm terrified.

The Order
So recently The Order season 2 has come onto Netflix so I have decided to compare my thoughts and feelings of the characters from season 1 into their growth and whatever on season 2
First we’ll start off with my babies and end it with the trash [any negative options of characters do NOT stretch to the actors themselves]
Randall
Season one
He is such a cute adorable soul, I love his loyalty and adoration fr his friends hes honestly one of the best written characters on the show, he is the definition of baby
Season two
we got to see more of a stubborn side to him this season, he still shows his undying loyalty to not only his friends but the cause. It actually hurt to see him so upset when that bitch ruby used him. He still is baby but he bi baby, that kiss with Hamish really made me realise that hes shippable with anyone and everyone.
What I would like to see for him in season three;
I would love for him to slowly start to accept magic more, and to see him use it a bit more, and for him to find someone that genuinely cares for him, whether its Gabrielle or another character I just want my baby to be happy.
Hamish
Season one
I never really had much of an opinion on Hamish, at the beginning of season one I thought he was a bit bland, but then he really grew on me, the way he spoke about Cassie and his choice of beer pong to settle group choices, my mans not an alcoholic, hes a alcohol aficionado and my son. His little look at Vera at the end gave me a bit of feels
Season two
I cant not start this without Randall and Hamish’s kiss, I love it, a love story for the ages, either both Hamish and Randall are bi or somewhere in the community or they’re so solid in their heterosexuality that they really do not care and I’m cool with either [I’d more so believe Randall is the first option than the second]. But Hamish and Vera are also a power couple, I’m not sure the age difference but Vera is older right? But I love Hamish’s belief in Vera and The Order its such a big difference from the Hamish that we first met that wanted to take them down. I would love to drink one of Hamish’s concoctions.
What I would like to see for him in season three;
I would love for Hamish to progress more with Vera, and for him and the other wolves to learn more about their wolves and the history.
Jack
Season one
In the first season Jack was literally just a puppet, he was always being controlled by something or someone, the main one being his granddad, the relationship was so broken between them I wish we had gotten a real bonding moment the closest we had was either when Jack was dying because of silver back and at that point he was barely conscious or when we saw his pops trying to avenge jacks and his mothers death and Jack had to watch him explode. I really didn't feel any real emotion except a little twinge because I knew that Jack was upset. Jack himself wasn’t inherently a good or bad character his biggest flaw is that he literally throws himself into things because of emotion. Was super happy when he woke up after dying and Randall came and gave him a hug
Season Two
This has to be said Blonde Jack grew on me and low key was sexy as fuck no one can tell me otherwise [Thank you Gabrielle]. I love Jack I really do but his biggest fucking flaw is his feelings for one bitch that can not be named right now. He did make some big mistakes this season but he’s only a teen [Hes like what nineteen now?] but hes really willing to die for his team and and confirmed Jack has soft lips, my baba uses lip balm.
What I would like to see for him in season three;
I would love for him to find all of the rest of the stolen objects, for people *AHEMALYSSA* to stop blaming him for everything ‘oh there is one cloud in the sky must be jacks fault’
Lilith
Season one
Now again I was not sure on Lilith just because when they introduced us to her character, I thought she was very one dimensional by that I mean they were just going to try and pass her off as a strong female by making her blood thirsty but within one episode I went from not liking her to loving her my little ‘Kilith’ a beautifully murderous soul, her reaction to her finding out that her at Alyssa were best friends was brilliant. Her and Randall's kiss was sort of unexpected but I was cool with it I thought they would have at least had it go somewhere lmao.
Season two
Lilith and Nicole two beautiful women and they love each other, tell me I’m wrong, I liked the bob however I was not a big fan of the blue streaks, Lilith and Jacks moment before they went to the last fight against Rogwan, her sacrifice to save Jack, I love that girl so much. I’m upset that she was in barely any episodes this season I would have loved to see more of her relationship dynamic with Nicole.
What I would like to see for her in season three;
To see flashbacks of her in the demon realm and her badasserly survival, to see her slowly making her return back into the human realm. And for her to also find someone who truly cares for her, 100% would prefer a female.
Vera
Season One
I liked Vera from when she decided that Jack was coming to belgrave, I love her character because she reminds me of Fallon and her makeup is always on point.
Season two
Her fight for her position to be grand magnus, she was always one of the most calculated characters because everyone was constantly trying to tear her down and take way her title especially that bitch Kepler. Her and Hamish are hot AF power couple for the win
What I would like to see for her in season three;
GIVE HER HER MAGIC BACK!
Gabrielle
Season One
Shes good at what she does to bad she always was working against my faves.
Season Two
It was harder to hate her this season I loved the Karaoke scene, she wasn’t perfect but she tried [still couldn't like her but that’s due to my own personal hang ups
What I would like to see for her in season three;
A redemption arc and not one that has her redemption based around Randall and for him, I really hope they give her a good one. I beg
Alyssa
Season One
She started off so well on the first episode, what happened, she has an unhealthy loyalty and what seams like some sly daddy issues her and Jack were cute though
Season Two
What. The. Fuck. First I’ll be nice that bitch can sing. Alyssa is a stupid irrational character, she leaves Jack to fight on his own, and doesn't help just stands there, tries to cut of her bond with him after she has sex with him for the first time. She was a very self centred character this season, some how everything was Jacks fault, but she was still adamant she had feelings for him? She was willing to kill her mentor and someone shes known for years for some random girl shes met, she believed everything that was said and didn't even have the audacity to let Vera explain and then took away her magic, who gave her the right, I know she was upset over her own magic but Vera would have helped her fix her powers another way. Again she was very self centred and I wish that she actually tried to understand and work with everyone and she wouldn’t have died, but oh well.
What I would like to see for her in season three;
Either shes a completely new person when she gets revived for she can stay dead I ain’t got time for her foolishness anymore, some people have real issues not her made up problems.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
