Another controversial opinion from me: ME! is a fun song and I love her. Is it her most groundbreaking song? No, not at all, but I think she's fun and I like her :)

Say that!!! I think the issue I personally have with the fandom's treatment of ME! is that they insist it's a good song because they like it, and that's honestly a valid criteria!, but they act like it is lyrically and musically GOOD in the sense of "high quality" and. No. Just say "This may not be a perfectly crafted piece of art but I like it!" and move on. In the end all that matters is whether or not it is good in your eyes.
