I'm gonna be so honest with y'all. I don't take you seriously if you complain about the casting of the Percy Jackson show because the poc actors aren't "book accurate."

Because here's the deal. I remember when the internet threw a fit when Rue, a black character, was played by a black person. It didn't matter that it was book accurate, y'all didn't want to see a black person on screen.

For some of y'all, it's not that you are against adaptations straying from the source material- you are simply anti black.

If you are about to argue with me, I want you to ask yourself something. Did you not mind the race change of Grover, but you are against the casting of Annabeth? If that's true, maybe try to address that. Acknowledge it and try to deconstruct your anti-black biases.

I’m actually so disappointed in this whole movie release of RvB19

It’s a show. With episodes. That release weekly. I was actually so looking forward to having that unique fandom experience of waiting each week for new episodes and theorizing and making content interacting with the fan base as episodes aired one last time. But now there’s no way you’re gonna be able to go into any fandom spaces without getting spoiled by those who watched the movie release. Like what’s even the fucking point of doing the weekly releases? Actually fuck this. It’s so stupid. Like it would be perfectly fine if they did it AFTER all the episodes aired cause then it’d basically be the same as the complete seasons and that’s cool but no- the movie release is dropping the same day as episode one. Honestly fuck that. I’m gonna watch the weekly episode releases as god intended. It’s a show. One that I’ve loved so dearly for almost 8 years. I’m gonna treat it as a fucking show.

Went to the doctor just for a check up and he basically just told me "your body just processes sugar very well! :) :) :) It's a good thing! :) :) :) It can't possibly be the source of your symptoms even though eating fixes it :) :) :)" But there was also a moment when talking about my iron deficiency that is possibly one of the funniest things a doctor has ever said to me, up with the cardiologist who said "you're a medical mystery": He was going over my blood test results, and said "Your iron levels haven't gone up at all, they are still extremely low, but you're not anemic anymore" And I was like how am I not anemic anymore??? And he said "Your hemoglobin levels have gone up...somehow..." while frowning at the blood test results on his computer. It was very "somehow, palpatine has returned" lol
