oH i brought up goncharov 1973 in class today! the teacher asked for examples of symbolic omens in media and i said that the ticking clocks in goncharov suggested that many of the characters were 'running out of time', so to speak

and my teacher was like 'okay cool' and wrote it down on the whiteboard

Very glad you’re here! I figured I should probably introduce myself! I am a writer, primarily a poet. You can find my poems in places like Uncanny, The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov’s, Small Wonders, Fireside, Strange Horizons, Cicada, Nightmare, Mermaids Monthly, and The Best of Uncanny Magazine (Subterranean Press).

I am also an editor, word-nerd, and coffee afficionado. Without coffee, I am a shell of a human. Is that hyperbole? Probably. But for the love of java, do not give me decaf. That’s just mean.
