Eddie could tell you were stressed by just the sound of your despondent 'hullo' when you approached him at his van at the end of the school day

Not even waiting for a response from him; you let yourself hunch forward and burrowed your face into the center of his chest, allowing his comforting scent of cigarette smoke, the leather of his jacket, and the remnants of his cologne begin to soothe you

"Hello to you too, babe," he chuckled softly as he wrapped his arms around you

"Lemme guess..." he said after you let out an unintelligible sound in response to his comment and before he pressed a quick kiss to the crown of your head and guided you into the van

"Nancy started in on her plan to tackle finals, right? Made a big deal about it and got you all worked up?" Eddie questioned after he joined you in the van and exited the parking lot

Begrudgingly, you nodded your head and sunk a little further into the passenger seat

"Thought so..." he mumbled mostly to himself and parked in front of his trailer

Without further comment, he turned the van off and escorted you up the front steps and through the front door

Taking your hand in his, he lead you into his room and climbed onto his bed after he shrugged off his coat

Patting the space between his parted legs, he silently urged you to rest your back against his chest

When you settled against him, you felt him shift slightly behind you as he let one ring clad hand gently stroke along your arm

"Alright, here's what we're gonna do..." he began, and you turned your head to look at him

In his hand, he had his well worn copy of The Fellowship of the Ring and he gave you a lopsided grin as he single-handedly thumbed open the book

"I'm gonna read to you for a little bit and you're just gonna sit back and relax, okay, babe? I don't want you to think about anything Nancy said... just focus on me..."

I’m curious - people always seem surprised that multiple siblings are queer, as if it’s amazing the gay lightning struck twice so close together.

But human variation is down to our genes and external factors. Siblings are logically more likely to both/all be queer than not.

So a wee poll if you don’t mind!

Anyone can take part, there should be an option for anyone but please let me know in notes if I missed anyone.

For reference: queer is anyone who wouldn’t describe themselves as heterosexual or cis-gendered or allo-sexual. Anyone we would include in the queer group. And if you’re not including people by their own identification, we can have words after…

"Hello, this is Taeyong.

It seems like the beginning of 2024 was only yesterday, but just in a blink of an eye, spring has already come,

The reason I wrote this letter is because as of April 15th, I will be serving in the military.

I know there will be people who are preparing their hearts for this time when we have to be apart for a while, and there will also be people who are surprised, so I would like to say this personally to Czennies.

If I look back on the times up until now, I think I was able to grow more mature even until this moment thanks to all of you and our members. Every moment was meaningful and all of it were happy times, so thank you for giving me those valuable and shining times as a present.

I have a lot of things I want to achieve with the members and fans in the future too, so I will learn many things as I do my best serving in the military. When I come back later, I will become a better version of myself and stand on stage, I promise!

Czennie, our NCTzen, we have grown proudly together, don't we. So that's why it feels more affectionate and precious. I think I'm going to miss you guys so much.

I will be back well so all of you stay healthy and be well too! I'll be back soon!

Of course you do. How could you not. But do you ever think about this exchange specifically:

Because Adrien is sweet, and forgiving, and kind. In fact, kindness is his defining quality — Marinette herself made sure of it:

But.

Do you ever think about Adrien’s development in S4 and especially S5?

Overtime, he has grown resentful of a system that exploits him relentlessly.

Of the people he gave countless chances to, only to be let down over and over again.

Of the web of lies and half-truths he constantly finds himself tangled into. A web that is only growing bigger, stickier, and trickier to escape.

And the Senticousins. Do you ever think about them?

Do you ever think about how they are each other’s reflection, identical and opposites all at once?

“When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that… is monstruous.”

“To have a child is to help them blossom, to grow, to find themselves and to be free!”

Do you ever think about their opposite character arcs in S5 — one learning mercy and trust, the other developing a rage so strong it could destroy the world?

Do you ever think that if Felix can now have this exchange with his mum, and mean it:

“They’re all monsters!”

“Not all of them.”

Then there’s nothing stopping Adrien from saying this:

“Look closer, Marinette. They’re the monsters.”

#AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT 💚🐈‍⬛#To be clear I don’t necessarily think he’d mean it. He probably wouldn’t.#But if he did who could blame him? He has so much to deal with #He’s a child being protected by children and all of them are trapped in this world the adults poisoned for them #Felix and him really aren’t that different. He could be plagued by these feelings too. I have no doubt he’d heal from them down the line #But I would LOVE him to use the world “monster(s)” in S6 (PLEASE NOT AGAINST FELIX THOMAS LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME THOMAS —)#It would be such a beautiful callback to Emotion and a great illustration of how much his grief is changing him #And how it could take over like it did with Gabriel if he’s not careful. This kind of got away from me, love, but I hope you still like it! 💚 it's the first thing I've written in months...

gn!reader x Din Djarin

You couldn't help but laugh as you watched the paint from Grogu's frantically flailing claws splatter new constellations of colors on the shiny beskar of Din's cuisses. The paint that was supposed to be on the canvas laid out before you on the cold metallic hull of the Razor Crest. The canvas you'd promised Grogu you would use to make him his own forever frog. At this point, though, there was more pigment on Din than there was on the canvas.

A low modulated sigh accompanied by the slow downward tilting of Din's helmet pulled you from your momentary musings. As he surveyed the state of his armor, you only laughed harder.

Though you couldn't see his face, you knew by the sarcastic slant of his helmet (and by how both of his hands were currently resting on his hips) that he was not finding the situation quite as hilarious as you did.

"It's just paint-" you giggled out and grabbed a spare rag to clean away the colorful mess- "it will wash off."

You only managed to raise the rag to be parallel with Din's waist before it was pulled from your grasp. Both you and Din watched in wonder as the rag floated back down to the hull's floor with a soft plop before a rainbow of colors levitated up from the pigment pots and splashed against Din's cuirass.

Joyful squeals filled the hull as Grogu added more paint to his new canvas and another modulated sigh slipped out from Din's helmet. Turning to face Grogu directly, Din held out his arms and let your little green son have his fun.

When the paints finally floated back down to settle into the pots, your eyes teared up as you looked at the picture of your family that Grogu had painted. You swore you heard a small hitch in Din's voice when he let his hands fall back to his sides, "good job, kid."

the thing they don't tell you about getting into les mis as a teenager is that there is no point at which you gain the capability of being normal about enjolras and grantaire. bc here's the thing folks. grantaire asked for enjolras's permission, to give him the honor of dying next to him. enjolras smiled and took his hand. and then they died. holding hands. and then there's "you believe in nothing" / "i believe in you", the sun/moon imagery, the comparisons to achilles/patroclus and orestes/pylades etc, and dont get me started on george blagden. it's insane
