Small artists you need to understand that when you see an artist who you think has 'made it' tells you not to worry about the numbers and to not fret about getting more likes than reblogs they are not telling you it because they think you are stupid for caring or because they dont need to network to survive they are very likely telling you that because they have witnessed first hand the way the numbers game tears people to shreds in terms of mental health and motivation

When you're in the middle of being very busy, it's not the worst thing in the world to be amused.

Today we were working on the house, efforts that took hours of intense effort and physical exertion. That narrowed our focus down to only what was right in front of us. Lost in what we were doing. When, out of the blue...

Hedwig's theme. What I understand to be the main theme for the Harry Potter movies.

This song was actually the unique, chosen ringtone on Kimmer's phone for one of our friends who happened to be calling just then.

Of course I didn't know where the phone was... so a bunch of that music played while I looked for it, the music moving from a simple music box melody ... and opening up into a full orchestral piece. At which point I found and answered the phone.

"Hello!"

By which point, of course, the earworm was in my head, the tune firmly nestled in there, playing on repeat. The result is that it brought something light and whimsical to lay over the day's work. And, like I said, when you're in the middle of being very busy...
