Some system roles! You could see I was starting to hurt more as I got to these, they're somewhat messier

The first three are nightwatcher. Then protector, then caretaker, steward, charge, hydrator, medic, and hygienist

The caretaker one is based on a type of doll in our system, so it's a little personalised. I don't know why charge is like that, I was just going through our physical sketchbook and digitalising symbol sketches we did, and another headmate drew that sketch

So, awhile ago we made a bunch of system role flags because we were making descriptor pages for each of us beasts. Been sitting on them for awhile but never shared them, so here’s the time! These are free to use for all systems. (sry they’re not the best)

Emotional Processor

Coffee Hour

PROGRESS, 10/26/2023

I went to the dentist the other day for cleaning. I decided after last visit to get really serious about my oral hygiene. It wasn't bad, but I could do better, so i did. My Hygienist was impressed by the progress and said, "It's really nice when someone actually follows our advice. Good job!"

My Stunt Double du Jour shows you how we did it, although I use a Sonicare (electric) toothbrush and water-flosser. I then rinse with a special mouthwash that is not harmful to good bacteria (non-alcohol based).

Gentle Reminders of my twin's absence

Losing my twin was going to be difficult. A visit to the hygienist after 10 months of mouth pain reminded me just how difficult it was. It's been 13 months. A tiring, difficult day.

Absence 'friends' As I am now going through the healing process, I am reminded that my twin isn't with me, and being on my own without my twin, made the visit even more difficult, even more poignant.

A poignant time It was poignant, a reminder that I need and still have a way to go to heal, but the reality is that through the healing process, physically I am without my twin. It's already a difficult world for me to navigate.

I asked my twin before my session started for protection and a white light to help with the process and that worked. The process was made easier, but throughout the day after my visit the tinnitus got worse.

Dental protection measures

I did ask for measures to be put in place for the work to be done manually before my visit and was told that would be okay, after a consult with my hygienist practitioner. When I got to the surgery, my dentist I was told it couldn't be done. I was left with no choice. Now my tinnitus is worse. It's been a difficult day. Around a twin, perhaps someone else in this situation wouldn't see or think about visiting the hygienist in this way, or perhaps they would? I'm a deep thinker. I think these thought would always be here.
