Something that I have enjoyed over the past year it was not only the ability to grow food inside but to be able to grow flowers as well!Especially when stuck inside over the winter months or even now as I’m stuck keeping my feet up from an injury. The cleaning out of my Gardyn tank from start to finish. This happens once a month or twice a month if you’re growing strawberries. Some folks have mentioned to me that it can be difficult to pour out the water in the 6 gallon tank. Some thing that has helped me has been getting a metal bowl and taking that old water and pouring it out in my house plants. My Areca palms love it! It also makes it a lot easier to pour the water out rather than lifting it all at one time. The yellow stuff you see me mixing in hot water is the plant food. Whenever I clean the tank out and put fresh water in I always add 3 tsp in hot water and then stir it before I add it to my cold or room temperature water, in the tank. The last steps of this are quite easy, although it can seem daunting your first time to lift your entire top of your Gardyn, but after filling the tank up and positioning it where I want it, I just put the Gardyn (pipes, plants and all) back on the tank and secure the locks, plug it in and turn it on. I always love answering your questions and I’m happy to help in anyway that I can.
