I use Lili for Liechtenstein, but if I had to pick another name, I think Elise would be good too (idk why it’s not a popular choice given that it too was one of the Himaruya-suggested names). It’s of French origin, but whatever. For me Liechtenstein’s name has to have a light, sweet vibe; it can’t be very long and has to roll off the tongue easily. Lili and Elise fit all those criteria so yeah.

denim: kill the spider or take it outside?

Kenya would prefer to ignore the spider, but if she has to, she often kills it (doesn’t want to waste time taking it outside), especially if it’s poisonous, but sometimes other people can persuade her to take it outside. If the spider is in a room with her and several other people, she prefers to let the others do what they want with it and could happily ignore the spider if alone (unless it’s poisonous, in which case: kill it). Seychelles will let the spider be, unless it’s really bothering other people in the room; then she’ll take it outside (none of the spiders on Seychelles are deadly so she never kills them).

i have not seen enough of a solid kenya interpretation to give a real 100% answer (WHICH IS A SHAMEEEEEE) but i absolutely would be so down to see someone throw some ideas out on them in general, then I might get a better idea on how to gauge them with seychelles.. but regardless of the matter, seychelles is our young woman who’s just come up in the world and i love her regardless !!! i need to see more michelle in my life!!! but i could visualize them being very cute 🥰 again i wish i knew more about how people perceive kenya 👁👁

day two of @hetaliaafrica2020 - holidays/celebration

based off of photos of parades on Jamhuri Day/Republic Day, celebrated December 12 in Kenya to commemorate their independence from the British Empire (except I like drawing crowds as much as the next lazy artist so ya girl’s going her own parade somewhere more scenic than a stadium lol)

The uniform is based off of that of the Kenyan Air Force, inspired by one Fatumah Ahmed, the first woman in Kenya to reach the rank of Brigadier-General. I know Hetalia nations are most often drawn in their ground forces’ uniforms (America and his bomber jacket being a notable exception) but I really liked the colour of the Kenyan Air Force uniform, and I always associate pilots with being really optimistic and free-spirited which lines up with how I imagine Kenya’s personality
