Eastern Uusimaa District court has remanded four young people into custody in connection to an attack on a bus driver and two more people in Vantaa's Länsimäki area on 11 June, according to the Swedish language daily Hufvudstadtsbladet.
The four teenagers, one 15-year-old and three 17-year-olds, face charges of aggravated assault and robbery. The court has further imposed a travel ban on two 16-year-olds, the paper adds.
The incident took place on bus number 95N about 10 days ago, near the Kuulakuja bus stop in Eastern Vantaa. Authorities believe the group of six carried out an attack on the bus driver after the driver scolded them for making too much noise.
Two bystanders rushed to the driver's aid after seeing the events unfold from a nearby bus stop, but they were reportedly also attacked and robbed.
The three victims sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Finland gets a new government
Petteri Orpo's (NCP) right-wing coalition will get to move into their new offices just in time for Midsummer, newspaper Helsingin Sanomat (HS) reports.
Finnish President Sauli Niinistö will appoint Orpo as Prime Minister and his government on Tuesday at 2pm - following a plenary session in parliament - in a ceremony held at the Government Palace in Helsinki.
Orpo's cabinet will then hold its first official meeting during which all of the 19 new ministers will be sworn in, HS adds.
The only member of the previous government ministerial make-up who will continue in the new administartion is Swedish People's Party chair Anna-Maja Henriksson, albeit in a different role, swapping from Minister of Justice to Minister of Education, the paper notes.
Mental health crisis unfolding among young men
The number of suicide-related calls made to Mieli ry's crisis hotline by young men has more than doubled since 2020, newspaper Ilkka-Pohjalainen writes.
According to the mental health organisation, 37 of the young men who called the crisis hotline between January and May this year had a concrete suicide plan. The equivalent figure in 2020 was 17.
Staff working at Mieli Mental Health Finland have noticed that suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety and fears have increased particularly among young men in Finland in recent years.
"It is worrying that young men who call the crisis hotline often lack confidence in the future and in being able to change their situations. Many have the feeling that everything is lost, that nothing can be done," Susanna Winter, Head of Crisis Helpline and Online Crisis Work, says in a release.
Many of the young men calling the service are facing problems such as academic difficulties, unemployment and financial problems. Bullying, loneliness and lack of support are also common, according to the organisation, which added that the threshold to talk about mental health challenges seems to be higher for men than women.
"The young men that call seem to lack a social network to support them in difficult situations," Winter added.
If you are struggling, Mieli's crisis hotline can be reached at 09 2525 0111 with staff available to offer support in Finnish, Swedish, English, Arabic, Russian and Ukrainian.
Finland hit San Marino for six
Finnish football fans were treated to a feast of goals by the men's international team, the Huuhkajat or Eagle owls, at a sold-out Olympic Stadium in Helsinki on Monday evening, tabloid Iltalehti (IL) reports.
Finland beat San Marino 6-0 to climb to the top of the European Championship Qualification Group H, with second-half substitute Daniel Håkans stealing the show as he scored a spectacular hat-trick within just nine minutes.
In another article, Iltalehti praises the Finnish fans for the atmosphere they created within the stadium.
"It was quite the show! The audience was fantastic. Naturally, it helped Finland more than us," San Marino coach Fabrizio Costantini said, adding "a big congratulations to the Eagle owls!"

The solidarity of football world is heart warming. Nobody cares about the game at the moment, and everyone is with Denmark in this situation. It is just a game, and there are more important things right now.
