Peppino: He was bullied as a child/teenager and developed horrible social anxiety and depression from it. He also has generalized anxiety disorder. He's not necessarily estranged from his family, but he doesn't communicate with them a lot. This has caused tension to rise as his family began to think he doesn't love them. His failing business only adds to his crippling anxiety. He holds it against himself and is convinced that he's a failure.

Gustavo: I've said it a million times, but he's a divorced dad with minimal custody rights. He feels guilty for it. The divorce was super hard on him and still hurts. He was also very lonely at home before he got Brick. Other than that, he's a pretty jolly guy.

Mr. Stick: He's a lonely guy. His social skills aren't the best, and he's very condescending. His gambling problem has actually caused him great losses in life. He has maybe one friend (Burton). Despite being a con man, he's very gullible.

Pepperman: His narcissistic tendencies have cause many relationships to peril. Family, friends, and even partners had grown tired of his antics. He spends most of his time on his art and forgets to take care of himself. He's quite lonely.

The Vigilante: He doesn't have any family left. His maw and paw died early in his life after they were killed by outlaws. This is what made him decide to become The Vigilante. His peepaw, John E. Cheese, raised him. After he passed, The Vigilante had nobody but the ghost of him. He's become very lonely and is slightly depressed.

The Noise: He has an absent father who he resents for not being there. He grew up as a chaotic AuDHD child with a mother who didn't know how to handle it. He was bullied a lot. He's very paranoid that people will use him for money and fame, which is why he doesn't really have any friends other than Noisette. He's very angry and depressed underneath that silly persona. His social skills aren't great, either.

Noisette: She's incredibly insecure when it comes to criticism. She got bullied a lot in school for her poor social skills. Like Noise, she's also AuDHD, but her parents were educated and raised her well. She holds herself to modern beauty standards and occasionally gets insecure of her appearance.

Fake Peppino: He was met with violence and fear very early in life as he was constantly being hunted down by others in the tower (piggy police, The Vigilante). People were afraid of him, and it made him sad about himself. [Fic spoiler] Bruno was a great friend to him, but now he's gone. Until Peppino arrived, he felt that he was unlovable. Pizzahead is fine but can get too rough when it comes to correcting behavior.

Pizzahead: His poor social skills and onsessive behaviors have caused him to suffer greatly in his social life. He's very lonely and pushes most people away. He snapped at a certain point and went completely insane. He's a psychopathic maniac. He buries himself in work most of the time to avoid his feelings.

Pillar John: [Fic spoilers] John was originally a maintenance man in the tower. He was an incredible fixer and was good friends with Pizzahead. The tower was old and falling apart. Once Pizzahead realized there was no fixing it, he created a crazy contraption and trapped John in the top floor of the tower, causing the pillars in each level to support the tower's stability. Because of this, John developed a horrible depression after having a happy life.

Gerome: Gerome had somewhat of a tough upbringing. His mom and dad got divorced when he was young. His dad wasn't a great person. He was depressed as a kid because he felt the divorce was his fault. When his mom met John's father, things changed drastically, especially when John was born. At first, he didn't like John or his father. Once he saw how happy his mom was, he opened up and became close to John and his dad. Despite this, the depression still haunts Gerome to this day. Gerome even finds himself feeling a bit guilty over the tower situation.

Am I the asshole for joking about offering to kill our mother in the sibling group chat?

So me (22, FtM), my sister L (21, F), and my two brothers E and H (19, FtM and 15, M) have a sibling group chat on instagram to keep up with each other, mainly to keep up with me because I'm living states away from them while they still live back in my homestate and are relatively close to each other still, living situation wise.

A few days back, H messaged the group chat about some Bullshit that our mother has been up to.

For context, H has medicine he takes that he needs or he'll be severely lethargic and in pain at best and probably close to death--if not dead--at worst. He's been dealing with this ailment since he was about 4 or 5 and while he's gotten better in recent years thanks to infusions, he obviously still needs the medications he takes now to keep him stable.

And for some reason our mother, who has put us through several years of physical, mental, emotional, and psychological abuse, not to mention denied that H had anything wrong with him when he developed his ailment (so add medical neglect to the long list of fucked up things she's done), is the ONLY one who knows how to order H's medication, down to prescription and where to order it from.

And those few days back, H messaged the sibling group chat to tell us that our mother has essentially been holding his medication hostage as leverage to still be able to keep contact with him, because pretty much everybody on her side of the family has gone little to no contact with her after the bullshit she's been making everyone put up with for nearly two decades now.

E was getting right to fixing the problem, asking H for our mother's contact so he can get the info about H's medication so E can relay to H as well as our grandma, who has custody over H.

I was busy at the time and had my phone on silent (and oddly enough Instagram doesn't like to give me notifications anyway when it comes to DMs and group chat messages) so when I had the chance to catch up on chat I was very rightfully pissed, but didn't want to go all out rant mode in the chat when my brothers were already getting it dealt with and probably stressed and pissed too.

So to lighten the mood after reading and catching up in chat I send a message saying "do you want me to kill her for you" as a sorta dark humor kind of way to show I'm there for them as much as I can be being as physically distant as I am.

H says 'No', and E starts playing into the joke too. And up until this point, L had been quiet too. Until the me making a joke about offing our horribly abusive mother was a step too far apparently, and she sent a message saying "Bye, guys" before leaving group chat.

For additional context, L was the golden child out of the four of us. At least for our mother. She's dealt with her own issues of abuse too from our mother, but has certainly gotten the better end of the deal and was treated significantly better than the rest of us for all of our childhood. So despite everything, we all suspect on some level that L still has some sort of spot for our mother.

E had to reinvite L to the chat and explain to her that, in these words exactly: E: "No one was serious [L], no one actually wants to kill [Mother]"

E: "You have a bunch of siblings who are hurt over [Mother] being a horrible mother, sometimes shit gets said"

The chat's been quiet for a good few days ever since and, I dunno, it's all left a bitter taste in my mouth since it happened. Am I the asshole here, since I kinda caused her dipping from the group chat in the first place because of it?

Title: Night Life Pairing: Sara Lance x Reader Summary: Sara and Y/n run into each other on the streets, accidentally revealing both of their secret identities to the other. NR WC: 926

Sara had done a good job of staying out of Star City for nearly a decade. It had been easier whenever she still had Ava, but no good thing ever stayed in Sara Lance's life. She gave up time travel and vigilantism for a family, and she'd never regret that, even if it didn't work out. Sara had given it her best, but that kind of life wasn't right for her. She had gotten bored too easily, which was when the trouble started. Still, there were lines that Sara had never crossed. She was grateful for that bit of self-restraint that led to an easy divorce, even if it had ultimately put her back in Star City.

Technically, it was only for a weekend. It was a stop off on her new place, located about halfway between Central City and Star City. She was sick of listening to her parents trying to convince her to go to one place or the other. She didn't want to be that close to either of them, not if it meant the other would feel slighted for being left alone. Both of her parents had their own lives to worry about anyway. Her mother had a busy few months ahead of her wedding planning, and Quentin was working to repair his relationship with Felicity's mother, something that would never not absolutely shock Sara to think about.

It had nearly been a perfect weekend with her father until he got called into work. Sara had promised him to stay out of trouble, but that didn't mean she couldn't go on a patrol of her own. Quentin had tried to talk her into becoming a cop or working with the police wherever she ended up, but Sara didn't want that. She wanted to just let herself get used to being on her own for a little while. Ava had given her a couple of months to work things out before they finished drafting their custody agreement. Sara decided that this was truly her last little bout as the Canary, and she'd even torch the outfit to make sure of it.

"Hold it right there." Sara froze at the sound of a voice behind her. There was something familiar about the voice that excited Sara, even more than the click of the gun being cocked. Sara recognized the voice, even if she didn't know it yet. It had to be someone from her past, but Sara couldn't focus on it long enough to figure it out. "Turn around and face me."

"You know, if you'd ask nicely, you wouldn't need that gun," Sara said as she turned around. She kept her head down to try and conceal her identity, but the woman with the gun tilted it up. Sara expected the woman to say something, but instead, she just stared from underneath her hood. "What? Is something wrong?"

"Sara Lance, I'm pretty sure that I heard you died." The woman pulled the hood back and revealed her face to Sara. It was somewhat obscured by face paint that Sara recognized as an emerging gang in Star City, but behind that Sara knew the woman.

"Y/n, you're in a gang? I thought you were gonna be a cop," Sara said, unable to hide her shock.

"Turns out that inciting an investigation on Internal Affairs is a bit of a career killer, and those guys don't fuck around. They shot me, got me medically retired, and then I lost everything. It's a long and tedious story, but I've found my place. Now, I'd hate to have to kill you, but can you keep my secret?" Y/n casually waved the gun around as she spoke. Sara watched her closely and noticed that Y/n kept her fingers away from the trigger. "I'm not really hurting anybody who doesn't already deserve it."

"I was like you once, and this isn't the way." Sara knew that her words wouldn't change a thing, but she had to at least give it a shot. She had always known that Star City would eventually fall down the path it had before with crime and violence, despite Oliver's best intentions.

"It's not permanent, nobody's party phase ever is. Maybe when it's all said and done, we can work together. The city has been hurting since all its heroes went away. We could use a Canary again, but I'd change the color. Blood stains are a bitch to get out," Y/n said. Sara smiled to herself as she thought about coming back to this. She hadn't wanted to, but she knew that Y/n had to have a point. The city needed vigilantes. Star City at its most peaceful was still much more dangerous than most cities.

"We'll see. I told myself I was done a long time ago," Sara said. Y/n nodded as she clicked the safety on and holstered her weapons.

"Either way, I hope to see more of you Lance. Hopefully in a more official manner than when we were in school. How long are you in town for?" Y/n asked.

"I'm leaving tomorrow, but I'd definitely like to see you before I go. Meet me at the coffee shop on Harker Street tomorrow around 11?" Sara asked. Y/n nodded in agreement and placed a card in Sara's hand before she ran and baseball slid off of the rooftop. Sara shook her head as she glanced down at the card, which was a number for a private investigation service, most likely Y/n's.

"Well he should've handled that like a man, instead of using his fists! Of course I was wrong, but that doesn't mean I deserved this."

"I'm not saying you did, I just want you to see that there's cause and effect. Going to the courts over this one incident doesn't make sense. It wouldn't be a regular case. He's Michael fuckin Johnson!...The world famous, six time NBA champion, multi-billionaire! Do you realize the rippling damage that would cause? Think about Silas. "Well, what do you suggest I do then!? I can't be here and I'm not leaving my baby. He's not going to give me custody without a fight. I won't win without telling my truth."

"I know. He's stubborn and not capable of seeing the bigger picture, but you are. You're Silas' mother and have been protecting him since you found out you were pregnant. Continue to do that by letting this go. Everything was fine before today. He knows he messed up and I promise you he won't do that again. Just take a breather, rest, and reset."

"I agree. It's alot, but you're doing the right thing. I'll go get you an ice pack and some Tylenol."

"She's hurting but I think I got through to her. Right now she's resting."

"Good. Did you give her the pain medicine?

"Yes. I told her it was Tylenol like you asked." *with a slight attitude*

"I know you didn't want to do it but it had to be done. I can't trust that she won't change her mind, so it's just a little insurance. Technically Percs have Tylenol in them so you really didn't lie."

"So how exactly will that work in your favor?"

"It's simple. If she goes to the courts, I will have the judge order a hair sample drug test. They leave your system but stay in your hair for up to 90 days. My lawyers will paint a very different picture that you and Ryan will corroborate. I told her ass, I don't play about my kids. She's either gonna fall in line or lose him for good."

AU where Cissie's therapist was murdered before Cissie ever joined Young Justice, and Cissie has run away from boarding school and her one goal now is to find Marcie's murderer. Nothing matters to her besides that. Before I explain it I would like to inform you that this timeline or "past" was inspired by a random episode from the 1st season were explains why Krupp has always been a "grumpy bully" and reveals his "mother" and her real name.

Gp's Childhood (?)

Pretty sure you are confused and asking yourself what happened or how did this happen before Gp!krupp himself became a villain in this AU. Well allowed me to explain.

Ben was a regular kid who lived in a place that was kinda similar to a farm. Sorta. Just like the other kids, he was just normal except he didn't have a good and healthy relationship with his family after what happened.

When Ben was 7-8 years old he would always hear and watch his parents argue and fight over things. Meanwhile Jasper was 0-1 months old which sadly he didn't remember what his dad looks like back then.

A few days later Bernice and her husband got a divorce, the 1st reason was because Bernice was toxic and would constantly almost hit him. She was also abusive towards him. Even if the husband wanted to visit his kids, Bernice refused to share the custody with him.

The other reason was because she didn't like the fact he was a jew. Bernice was raised by christians and her mother always told her that people who are in that religion could not be trusted. Because of that, she wanted a divorce over that. Again Ben and Jasper were too young and didn't understand the reason behind the divorce.

2 years later Benjamin turned 10 years old and is in 4th grade. However, his relationship with his mom was terrible. He thought that maybe she was stressed but he was wrong. Every time he wanted to talk his mom would yell and throw insults at Ben. Saying that she regretted having him and wished he had NEVER been born in the first place. Bernice would also say that it's his fault that she didn't have time to get an abortion

Of course, the little buddy was hurt by it as maybe his hatred toward Bernice was slowing growing back then.

September 3, ????: Ben had a bad time trusting people, especially Bernice. His mom kept on judging and yelling at him for not being good enough. Bernice would always compare him with her husband, saying he is just like HIM and he will never be good enough.

Bernice also gaslights and manipulates the child, especially guilt-tripping him to the point Ben can't even focus on his schoolwork.

Until that day she decided to sign him up to a church without thinking. She could've asked Ben for permission but instead, she decided to sign it and say it was for the "best". Ben didn't like going in there but unfortunately, Bernice had to guilt-trip the child again and say she will send hurt him if he disobeyed.

The place was called "The Valley Church Sidney Piqua", also known as "Valley Church" for short.

Bernice thought that place was fun for her son since a friend of hers suggested her sign him up there so he can spend time with other children.

Which gone wrong uh-

Ben hated that place so much, he didn't like people, and he hates being recorded or watched by the nuns. He hates the fact his mom is shoving those in his throat. Before that "activity" started he met the priest, Levi Smith. One of his mom's friends (well future husband I suppose? Like lovers or whatever). The man himself was glad to see the child in person and introduced himself. Again Ben (gp) didn't like the place. He wasn't interested. He just wanted to finish his work.

Days and weeks passed and Benjamin was slowly feeling like the priest was like a father to him.

No matter how much he despises Levi, the man makes him less comfortable. The problem he had with the man was that he kept staring at him nonstop. It's always the unwanted and uncomfortable touch and unnecessary questions. He thought it was how christians treat others and thought it was stupid. But sadly things got worse when Levi encouraged him to follow him to his office to have a "serious conversation" and...

I'll let you guys guess. Not gonna reveal it at all. (OR should I???)

After the experience

He has stopped talking to his mom to avoid being stared at and judged by her as usual. It was pretty painful for him to hold it.

He didn't know if he needed to go to a hospital or not. Still didn't know if he was gonna diagnosed with something worse like a disorder or an infection after THAT.

4-5 days passed (September 8th) and he started to behave differently. He couldn't concentrate or focus. Everything that surrounds him scares him. The cross, the kindergarteners, everything reminds him of the priest and those people. it haunts him.

According to his History teacher, Ben gets easily triggered and hides under the damn table. Others say the little buddy responds aggressively when someone touches or speaks to him

The principal and the teacher tried their best to have a meeting with Bernice about her son's new behavior. Bernice, being sarcastic and unaware, said that's him being a little scumbag for attention but the principal didn't agree with that statement and tried to convince her to visit a therapist for the kid. Unfortunately, Bernice refuses to do that because she doesn't wanna go broke and waste money on something that Ben "doesn't" need and he seems normal to her.

She then asked herself why the fuck would he need that if he's very normal? Maybe he's been a little bastard- nah not really. Her goofy cowgirl egg-shaped ass was still unaware. Maybe Ben was being dramatic and problematic after finding out about the divorce between her and the father.

After the meeting Bernice was pissed off. She didn't wanna waste her time having another conversation with a staff over the same topic. She was sick and tired of receiving concerning and worrying comments from the teacher when it comes to Ben.

Bernice had a enough that ended up doing the worst thing. Harming the living shit out of Ben as a punishment. She didn't care if it's physical or not.

Day 9 (September 17): sadly no positive changes. Still the same. Well.. except for his hatred towards Bernice. It grew more than last month plus his trauma making it more than "little".

(Keep in mind He is STILL 10 and will be 11 next year) things were hard. Still can't focus on schoolwork or chores. He even had to babysit Jasper for his mom every Sunday when she went to church. Well just to visit her belove Mr. Smith /j

The day gets worse as usual. Yeah like always. Ben was aware that soon his school would have a Halloween party but he didn't want to know what would happen if SHE found out about it.

After babysitting Jasper, he felt stressed. His mom came at 6PM when she promised she would be at 10 AM. I guess she lied.

Bernice was only giving him a dead stare. Not saying a word. That made Ben feel less secure. Not sure if what she's thinking of him now.

September 18, ????: Things were the same, Ben acting strange and traumatized after what happened. He wasn't in the mood to be with people and wanted to be alone.

He felt gross. He feels dirty. He feels disgusting and nasty. He didn't know how to feel after that. Ben wished he never met HIM or at least defend himself but it was too late to do that. he wanna forget the things he experienced

He hates his body so much. He hates seeing bruises and bite marks all over his body and neck. He hates it so much. Later that day he finally met someone who will always make him happy for the first time.

Theodore (ted), the new student.

That day was odd but special. He didn't like the kid that much, Theodore seemed annoying to him but hey! It was slowly making Ben less happy that someone like Ted understood him but still didn't trust him that much.

Weeks passed and they know each other perfectly and became friends. Even tho Ted was a friend to him, he was slowly developing an attraction toward Theodore. He didn't wanna confess it yet, he was worried his mom would find out and scold him for it.

He didn't know how to feel. Yet he does feel a bit clingy towards him sometimes.

October 31st: it was a cold night, it was Halloween. Ben was getting ready to go outside like the others, he went downstairs to see if dinner was ready but LMFAO. I guess things can get worse

The priest was in the kitchen along with Bernice. He didn't say a word. Only staring at the priest with disgust and hatred after what he has done to him. To make it work Jasper was with them. His brother was 2 months old (sorta???) and seeing him next to the priest made Ben sick in the stomach. Bernice wanted Ben to upstand what was best for him but he immediately left the house without eating, not wanting to listen to her excuses.

He was now walking outside. He didn't understand how his mom was unaware of what Levi did. But decided to go trick-or-treating to forget about it.

Because a lot of people did so, here my contribution to the Walker kids (also shamelessly to just talk about one of my OCs that i never manage to talk about):

Grace, born right in the middle of David and Logan, in April 2000, tho to a different mom, which is all fine and well, they all three were together for awhile and happy about the kid. Grace was a papa's girl, she loved Elias a lot

Tho when Grace was 8, they split up and Grace went with her mum to her home country of Germany (why? I'm german it's the only reason) There she still grew up around military, because her step dad also was a soldier, just in the german airforce.

She started growing resentful to Elias, because she thought that he didn't want anything to do with her anymore, because there were no calls, no letters, nothing from him. Eventhough she wrote him countless times, til she was 14 and gave up.

After ODIN took place she used her us-citizenship (cause she was born there) to join the us army too, given that she never really lost her sense of home to the US and also partly to see if she can manage to run across Elias or her brothers along the way and see if they even remember her.

She worked her ass of, becomming one of the best and coming on Merricks radar and getting pulled into the ghosts, where she for the first time again sees Elias, who does not seem to recognise her (she isn't running under the name Walker, but her Step dads name that she took when her mum and him got married). She plays along, staying distant to Elias, because she doesn't wanna get close to him again, not if he doesn't remember her.

She does tell him or rather everyone, in a fit, when she couldn't hold it down anymore. She basically turns to scream everything she had in her since she was 9/10 and started thinking her dad forgot her. Everyone is perplex, because Elias did say that he has a daughter out there somewhere, they all still thought she was (more or less) safe in Europe. Hesh and Logan are stunned that ther sister is back, without anyone knowing, especially because they thought that she left them, never to be heard from again.

Elias is just hurt and angry, not at Grace tho, he lets her scream everything out, before hugging her and apologizing that she felt that way and that he could never forget her, before telling her his side. Because what Grace and the boys didn't know was that the split wasn't nice behind the scene, that's why Grace's mum took her onto a whole different continent and that she left without an address or a number that he can call to keep in contact, he wanted to but he couldn't. (Also he did write letters for her birthdays and other stuff, had them in a drawer for the day that they actually either meet again or he finds an address to send them to, but they got lost in the destruction of ODIN) Basically her mother cut off all ties and the letters that Grace wrote, seemed to never have been sent out to Elias in the first place. Which obviously leads to a whole other sort of anger, but they decide to try to contact her mother, when the shit around them dies down a little bit.

When the shock dies down the boys get excited that they got their lost sister back. And they all do grow closer againm and start to catch up about how life went while they were apart.

That's it for now, also don't ask how that worked with custody and everything, in my head basically Elias gave up his, because it all would've been difficult with Grace being on a diffrent continent, but i don't know, not my area of expertise. And to the fact that he couldn't find them, if you don't manually agree to be put into the telephone book here in Germany, no-one can find out your address without illegal methods (unless you post it somewhere else yourself, we take privacy very serious)

So as far as beach episodes go: P4G > P3P > P5R

this one was a snoozefest, so let's touch on the important bits that stand out and then talk about Beige Boy and Solid Snake.

One, I have fully turned against Ryuji on the basis of his frequent and repeated disregard for Morgana as a part of the team and frankly as a full person. I am getting really teed the fuck off because for the last five hours or so of gametime, I have been watching Mona get more and more anxious about his place and about whether anyone on the team cares about him and his journey to the heart of Mementos

and at every fucking opportunity, Ryuji basically reinforces to Morgana yeah, you're not really one of the guys, you're not really part of the team, you're the mascot.

If I had agency in the world of this game, I would take Ryuji aside for a Fucking Discussion about this, because the fuse is lit and I am certain we are headed for a rift between Morgana and the team,a nd you know what? I'm on Morgana's side. He should be pissed, he should be hurt, because I'm hurt on his behalf just watching this unfold.

yeah this is me going full kill bill sirens on Ryuji, sorry. i will slam dunk him into a fucking dumpster, i'm so angry with him for his MANY MANY fuck ups and, specifically, how he doesn't seem to learn or grow from any of them.

I think that's my beef with him. Like, P3P, Junpei did multiple big fuck ups, but he both apologized explicitly for them and also learned from them and became a better person for it. He was my ultimate ride or die. I romanced Akihiko but my true love was my broship with Junpei.

Yosuke also fucked up a lot and even went full Joker Mode once, but he also experienced one of the longest arcs of character growth in the game. I remember when I started to like him after being tepid on him for the first third of the game and how annoyed I was that he was growing as a person!!!! But he wound up being a fave.

I need Ryuji to get his shit together and start growing tf up bc I am real sick of his self-important bullshit and how he steps on Morgana's feelings. I am hoping whatever the upcoming blow-up with Morgana is leads him to wake tf up, but also I'm not holding my breath.

Does Marina come back in the hp au?

She does, arriving just before the twins' second birthday and while Phillip is glad that she's in a better place, what completely throws him off guard is the fact she's returned with a boyfriend in tow - who turns out to be none other but his own brother, George.

He's shell-shocked as Marina explains how they met in the waiting room of the therapist office they were both going to and how George would take her to a local cafe after their sessions where they'd talk about their respective issues over cake, which is how they ended up falling in love with each other. George explained that he had no idea who Marina was before they met, not having much to do with Phillip in the years since he had left Hogwarts, and that he only found out she was the mother of his niece and nephew after they had been dating for several weeks. He expresses his deepest regret to Phillip for the way he treated him growing up but that he's put the work in by going to therapy and with Marina's help has become the better man that he now is. He doesn't expect Phillip to forgive him any time soon but he'd like the chance for them to start over if Phillip was willing to.

Throughout the conversation Eloise clutched Phillip's hand knowing just how daunting it must be to come face to face with his estranged brother after so many years. While she knew the reason for Marina leaving and completely empathised for her and her choices, she was very wary of George, well aware of the bullying he had subjected Phillip to over the years. Once the pair had said their piece they waited for Phillip's response but after several long minutes passed by in silence, Eloise knew she had to take over for her partner who was understandably unsure of how to answer Marina and his brother. Eloise told George that he'd have to give Phillip some time to decide whether or not he was willing to give things a second chance, something which George was okay to be patient with. She then turned to Marina and said she was welcome to come round and visit the twins whenever she wanted before they figured out arrangements pertaining to sharing custody.

Over the next few weeks Marina and George came over for daily visits as Marina became reacquainted with her babies and George got to know his niece and nephew. Marina experienced bouts of mum guilt, feeling awful for missing out on so much but both Phillip and Eloise were there to assure her that she did the right thing by putting her mental health first and that there was no shame in bettering her own well-being since it would help her and her relationship with the twins in the long run. They were also able to provide her with the memories of the twins' baby milestones that they shared with her via the ancient Bridgerton family Pensieve, making Marina feel much better as she got to experience these precious moments despite her absence.

Meanwhile as difficult as it was for Phillip to come to terms with the fact that George was now going to be a prominent presence in his life again, he also knew for the sake of their situation that he had to be the bigger person and try his best to forgive his brother and give him a chance. He couldn't help but admit that his brother had massively changed since he had last known him and that the combination of therapy and being with Marina had proved to be the making of him. Plus he was very good with Oliver and Amanda in spite of Phillip's underlying worry that George was only pretending to care about the twins to please Marina. While Phillip informed George he was willing to accept the olive branch, Eloise made it very clear that her partner was going to forgive him in his own time, and she warned George not to hurt his brother again, or else; a warning that George very much took on board.

Eventually over time the twins' time was divided between the two couples, and while Phillip and George's relationship was quite awkward at the best of times, Eloise and Marina became great friends; and Oliver and Amanda experienced the happiest of childhoods having four loving parents.

he's the youngest of 6, oldest 2 aren't named or designed. I have not much of shit on them yet lmao!

Edd is the baby child of the family and was super super dotted on by his mama and he and Elain, the second youngest, are the closest, her kids r named after him! Edwin being obvious but emily's middle name is manuela which is the female version of edds middle name, manuel! He's a gay man he's the gay uncle. We love tio edd.

Next up is Sofia who's a transwoman who works at a tattoo shop in london. While Edd is learning spanish to speak properly w his family in spain sofia has cut contact w most of the family since transitioning for various reasons, but she still texts edd here and there. He's pretty much the only one that still has contact w her and it how the family still knows she's alive. she loves her pug furbaby Moonshine. May or may not have a crush on a local ginger lady who works at a diner near her work.

Rodrigo, aka Felipe, has the typical brotherly relationship w Edd. Loves to bully and tease him and is pretty cool w his whole gay thing, even if he says some fuck up shit every now and then. He's trying. Worries a lot abt Sofia due to them being so close as kids, doesn't know abt her transitioning tho and Edd's not sure if he should tell him or not. Speaking of mama! Here's Reina, Edd's mother who never quite felt right in her relationship with his dad John. John is an orthodox jew and she was very iffy on getting a divorce just because she "felt weird" about it, but when Edd was about 7 she talked to John and, shockingly, he agreed to the divorce but wanted dearly to stay in the kids life, which of course she would let him. They still lived together up until Edd's teens before Reina moved out into her own house. They had moved to the UK while still married, shortly after having Elain, so Edd never really experienced living in Spain where the majority of his family resides. He also can't speak Spanish very well but he's been learning!

Elain had moved back to Spain after meeting a visiting spaniard and marrying him, resulting in her having two kids, but it really wasn't long before they divorced. Turns out he had a mistress she was unaware of who was also pregnant so she slammed that divorced hammer quite fucking fast and took custody of the kids. Edd swears he'd kill the guy if he ever sees him, Elain tell him not too because she want's to be the one who kills him lmao.

Reina isn't orthodox but due to growing up w John who is, Edd seems to... think... she is... so whenever she visits he's in a rush to clean up the house. This shit should have been kosher YESTERDAY! the secret is... maddox is half-siren. her brother jet is fully siren.

her mother was ashamed of having loved a human so she dropped maddox onto shore with a note that simply said 'be kind.' (maddox found it, years later. she doesn't know if her mother meant whoever took her in, or to maddox herself.) the person who took her in was sweet and kind, but her biological father insisted that that was his kid, got it proved in court that maddie was 'stolen' and he officially got custody of her:((( he wasnt a Great dad and he threatened to tell the town (which wasn't so accepting of merfolk in general) about her being nonhuman, which scared her into listening to him most of the time. however, this didn't stop her from becoming a bit of a rebel and singing in a few bars and enchanting the townsfolk (think this clip)

but years down the line, when maddox was around 12-13, when she went down to the beach at night (when her dad was asleep and couldn't berate her for whispering to the waves), she was surprised by a siren who looked worse for wear. she only tells maddox that, in her mother's final moments, she'd told her to go to this harbour, where 'his sister could keep him safe', and she just goes ??????BROTHER????? HUH?????????? and she thrusts a sleeping, slightly injured child at him then, with a terrified glance at the town, darts back underwater.

maddox now has a siren brother to tend to, and she doesn't even know shit about sirens beyond the books she keeps hidden in the floorboards underneath her bed.

naturally, she runs away from her father, skipping from town to town and getting money for food, medical supplies and shelter. jet, her brother's name turns out to be, is by now fine and a little frustrated at this random human taking care of him but he hushes, partly because maddox is a talented siren, partly because he's kinda in awe of her. his mom has only mentioned his sister in passing.

cue maddox one night, counting her coins, when a guy comes up to her. she instantly backs away, hand jumping to the knife she keeps strapped to her side, and he raises his scarred hands. "hey, kiddo, i'm not gonna hurt ya. how old are you? surely, you're too young to be doing this gig?" he gestures at the bar. "hell, aren't you too young to be here at all?"

and she glares and basically tells him to fuck off, and brushes him off when he expresses concern. he asks what she's doing here, she just says money, and he agrees to that. a moment passes, and out of the blue, he asks. "would you wanna join my crew?"

maddox is surprised by the lack of further prodding and shocked at the question. he briefly explains the pros and cons, but to her the pros far outweigh the cons... with just one thing. jet. he tells her he can find her at the docks, then leaves.

she makes up a plan to have jet, who's pretty much fully healed by now, to follow the boat, and when he expresses skepticism, she says its her- it's their chance at a free life. he can see how much she longs for it, but says yes.

(it's the reason why they argue later on. jet wants to be fully free. he's tired, and doesn't know just how much maddox has sacrificed for him - he was too young to really understand. he sees her happy, living her own life, while he's stuck chasing a ship for what feels like eternity. maybe it is.)

so, basically, maddox sneaks food and stuff to jet, and sometimes even sneaks him into the lowest part of the ship :))) that's the secret!!!

An AU in which Neil and Andrew meet much earlier. Promises are exchanged, deals are made and they become each other's sanctuary soon after meeting.

So wanted to talk about my AU a bit, and drop it here so I don't end up forgetting certain details.

Neil's mother kills Nathan when he is 4 years old before sending him to a 'friend' of hers. She dies soon after and that 'friend' drops him off at the orphanage.

Andrew is 8 and Neil 6 when they meet for the first time in the Spear household.

Mary used to call him Abram, Nathan called him Nathaniel, his mother's 'friend' Chris and than he was named 'Alex'. Andrew is the one who gives him the name Neil, and tells him to stay.

Andrew is 3 years younger than Aaron, and Tilda dies from an accident (Andrew isn't the one to kill her).

Nicky still comes back and tries to take in Andrew, but it isn't easy and he can only get the custody of Aaron- none of the Hemmick's know where Andrew is. (by that time, Andrew would be 10, Aaron 13 and Nicky 17-18)

Andrew Joseph Doe becomes Andrew Dobson and Alex Doe becomes Neil Winfield quickly enough thanks to the accident that puts an end to Tilda.

They are adopted around the time Wymack creates the Foxes. (so pretty much Seth's first year)

Seth:These two are shit-heads, but hurt them, and you gotta deal with me (along with the other four foxes)!

Also Seth: Andrew fucking Dobson! Get your ass over here, Jesus Christ, why the fuck would you think it a good idea to change my shampoo with pink hair dye?!

Andrew: You should be grateful to me! Now both your insides and outsides filled with shit! And you look like one from head to toe too!

Seth: You little-

They meet the three ravens much earlier and promises are exchanged between our duo and two of the raven's.

Neil and Andrew also get to go to the same school growing up and gain the heart of 'a certain captain of USC Trojans Exy team'.

Their childhood is much better after they are adopted, and while in canon their relationship is more 'Enemies to Lovers' it turns into 'Childhood Friends to Lovers'.

Matt just loves picking up Neil and running around with him on his shoulders, but is low key scared of Andrew, because who the fuck gave this kid knives?!

One day, Andrew is in Wymack's office as he is looking at Potential players, and sees Aaron's photo and goes; "I want that one." and Wymack is done with it all, but who is he to say no when Andrew really wants something.

Aaron sees Andrew for the first time after years, and is thinking 'what am I supposed to say' when Andrew straight out tells him that he is only in the Foxes because of him, and yeah, Aaron hates the little menace (not really though) Nicky is apologetic, but Andrew knows how hard he tried to get custody of him, so he doesn't harbor any negative feelings towards him.

Dan is scared of what will happen when the duo is old enough for Uni, because Andrew promised to be a problem for her and she knows that he wasn't joking.

But Lola is still alive and a bitch, so that's nice.

(ft. Andrew never has to take his pills, Neil never has to fear his father the way he does. Mama Betsy and Abby, Uncle Wymack. Andrew and Neil meeting before they are supposed to and coming to an understanding between each other and never really hiding anything from each other. They would def still end up together. Like, after Neil realizes that he can love someone and not get punished for it. Foxes love to spoil the duo.)

PART ONE

For now, you need to pay attention to this equation. There is this theory that says - mathematically speaking - positive added with positive, it's equal to positive. This means that, if you have positive action in your life and you add some more, the result shall be positive as well, isn't it? You see, Harry started to work very early in his life to help his mom take care of their home. Late in school, he also had a part-time job so he could save some money for college, he was very into numbers so he was planning to go to Computer Engineering in college just after he finished school.

But not everything is just the way we want right? Harry was dating this beautiful girl since his first year of high school. Started with a friendship, when both noticed that what they felt was more than just friendship, so it was given a shot, and since then they got together. Add this sequence to your equation: Two young people in love, plus, hormones burning in their skin after some shots of tequila, multiply to an empty bathroom. What do we have? Yes, an unplanned pregnancy. They were both sitting in Karen's bathroom when the test result showed two lines, just proving their theory. Karen told him about two weeks ago she didn't get her period yet, he said "Don't worry, everything is gonna fine, yeah? You told me that things like that can happen" He for the first time, wasn't right. Harry was always right about things. Karen was pregnant and devasted. Sure she wanted to be a mother someday, but that doesn't mean it needed to happen right now when there was so much ahead. Both did. They were devastated, and so were their parents, actually they are disappointed. The four of them were. But still decided to keep their baby angel.

And thank God they did it.

She was their little jar of happiness and joy. Wasn't easy to get where they are right now. So much was left behind for this moment. Both worked hard so it was possible to buy every necessary little thing for their little Cassie - short for Cassandra, Karen's gramma. Double shifts and sleepless nights for Harry while trying to get everything settled, Karen working on her projects as well to open her little boutique. From nursery to studies sessions online to keep on track. It was a nightmare for both, until this exact moment when they held their little chubby-haired princess in their arms. She was such a pretty girl, a perfect mixture of his pale skin with the exact amount of melanin of her mother. Just perfect.

They got married when Cassie just began to walk. It wasn't a big ceremony, just signing some papers, and Cassie who was only 10 months old when walked down the aisle where they stan while waiting for her looking like two goofy. Cassie was holding a little box with the rings, and that was it. A perfect little wedding, for a perfect little family.

Until they weren't anymore.

Cassie was 3 years old when her parent got divorced. It was decided that Harry and Karen would have shared custody, for Cassie's sake. Weekdays for Harry, weekends for Karen. It was a decision for the three of them. Nothing bad happened with the couple for such a thing as divorce. Their wedding things didn't ring as right as one day did. That adolescent flame got colder, so it was the best solution. Harry was very hurt when they sat down to talk about it and got to terms and decided what was the best. After all, he loved Karen and what they had. After a while, he noticed what he loved was his idea of the perfect relationship they had. Nothing is always that perfect but in his head all they built, their home, their belongings, all the little things, and details...All of this was part of their history, but it was also a story that will never be erased. So the "happy ever after" they promised is still valid, they will be happy even if they are not together anymore. Their bond was forever, they ended on good terms, so everything was fine.

Even being ungraduated, Harry is working in computer engineering in a little building in the city, it wasn't as he planned but, at least he gets the money he needs. Cassie is 4 now, she is a kindergarten and a very smart and energetic little girl. Sometimes Harry is still astonished by how much energy she has. That was Karen's side, because he loved calm and silence, on the contrary of his girls. Karen wasn't his for a while now, but she is the mother of his child so, somehow she was still his girl in a non-possessive way.

This particular Tuesday, the requirements and schedules were calmer than normal. His supervisor, Jonah, sent an email to his team informing them, that they had a meeting in the afternoon with a potentially important client. Turns out this client wasn't from the UK or any other English speaker country, but a Spanish company, and to be honest the Spanish company called La Computacion, wasn't interested in a full English-only meeting. Not every single person in the entire build knew a second language which was a shame. Jonah found a last-minute translator so they could help them as soon as possible.

The meeting was at 3 pm, at 1:30 pm the translator was already there. Some co-workers weren't very comfortable with the foreign company, and many of them whispered ''Doesn't make sense, why they didn't get an English translator?" Harry was beside this particular worker and said

"Well Conan, it's not their fault if you decided not to study another language"

"Oh, you did study then?"

"I haven't" he confessed "But you didn't see me complain, did you?"

"You're such a little thing, Styles. That's why no one likes you"

Harry just rolled his eyes and left the cafeteria straight to the conference room where the meeting was about to happen. When he got into his seat, he looked around the room seeing some familiar faces, sometimes nodding in a silent 'hello'. He kept looking around when he saw it, right there in the right corner, sitting facing the marble table while reading what seemed to be noted, a tall golden skin with a wavy hair, looking attractive as hell just by existing. He was enchanted.

Jonah entered to room, went straight to the table where the lady was, and opened his computer typing something fast, suddenly the white screen plugged in to light up, and three unknown faces showed up. The lady that until then was sat in the corner, stud up beside Jonah.

"Good afternoon everyone," everybody responded and he continued "This is Rebeca Rojas our translator. Miss Rojas works with Mr. Sabino for a long time now, while I was panicking to adjust this meeting Mr. Sabino indicated to me, Miss Rojas. Believe me, when I say she is a life savior" he said laughing, the room joined him, so he continued, "Please Miss Rojas, introduce yourself"

Rebeca started to speak, she explained she was a translator, teacher, and interpreter in her free time. She works for a publishing company as a translator of Latin languages. Just after her presentation, Mr. Sabino started to speak, and so did Rebeca. As Sabino speak, Rebeca translated right away. He could swear, he was in love with her voice. She sounded so smooth, she was so quick and so interactive. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss a new platform they were trying to create for another company. And Sabino's company would sponsor their project. It would take some time since what they were proposing, would take a lot of work, and when I said a lot, I mean it. It was a big project, with interactive pages, online consultors and the options go on and on. The meeting lasted at least 1 hour and a half. In the meantime, Miss Rojas spoke non-stop, I mean just a few times to sip water. Harry keeps thinking he could never last the way she did.

Everybody was leaving the room, Harry waited so he could introduce himself, he had to admit it, he was feeling kinda shy. It was a hard-working woman who speaks more than one language, more than he could be someday as a human being. Was he exaggerating? Yeah, I think so.

"Hello," he said giving his hand for her to shake "My name is Harry, it's a pleasure"

She smiles and shakes his hand "It's a pleasure Harry. You're good?"

"I'm great, what about you?" she nodded saying she was fine "The conference was just incredible. I'm glad I could join...So I wanted to ask you, you mentioned you're a teacher right? You only teach Spanish?" she nodded.

She smiled brightly and answered:

"Well, yes I'm a teacher and all my work involves the romantic languages, and English, and a bit of German, I'm not that good, but I'm trying" she laughed.

Harry could barely contain himself, her laugh sounded like Christmas bells, he was just so impressed and being this beautiful...Got him right in the stomach.

"So, like..." he said but it was interrupted by her

"Harry I'd love to talk to you, but I kinda need to go. You know...paperwork" she said rolling her eyes.

He nodded "Oh, sure. Let me walk you out?" he said offering his arm, which she gladly embraced. 

After that, he went back to his duties. But his mind was far away.

Backstory/childhood:

Denise had a... Really traumatic childhood. Her parents were cheating on each other, which led to many fights that Denise hated. The fights led to divorce later. Her father was in the custody of her, but his new partner left him from unknown reasons, which led to his su--ide. She tried to came back to her mother, but she she didn't wanted to see Denise ever again. She was left alone. She was living in her father's old house. Denise was pretty good in taking care of herself, completely alone. After few years (she was 14 then) she was accidentally found by one of the Toppat clan members after one of their raids. They took her and made her one of them. It was still Terrence's reing. She always had a bad feeling about Terrence, and she was very happy when he was overthrown. Now, Denise is a medic and a bit higher than the other members there. Not a higher-up, but pretty high in ranks.

Personality:

Denise is a really cold and distant person, who care about others, only if they are badly injured. The only person that Denise could call a friend is Reginald. They were often talking with each other. Denise rarely smiles, but when she was talking with Reginald, it always made her day brighter. She would kill for Reginald, anybody, just to keep him safe. Her first and only ever friend. Denise usually cares about her job or peace. Maybe she doesn't hate most of the Toppats, but she find every one of them (except Reggie of course) annoying in their own way.

Denise is fluent in Italian, French and Swedish.

She don't like animals, except fish. She find them cute and pretty.

ADHD.

She has a very sharp memory.

She don't hold grudges that much, exception is for someone who hurt her or is just really annoying to her.

Really sick reason to be happy but I can't stop smiling

One of my aunts calls our family "yours, mine, and ours", which is accurate. We've got me, my (step)brother, my dad, my stepmom, and my (half)sister. My brother is seven weeks younger than I am. Our parents got together when we were around four- "work spouses" who were both recently divorced- and our little sister came a few years later.

My bio mom and my brother's bio dad are a mess, somewhere between incapable and unwilling to parent full time. I've been in therapy off and on for most of my life and got my C-PTSD diagnosis at 15. My brother, god love him, just reached his first year of sobriety, having started drinking around the same age.

Naturally, every time we had a chance to say "This isn't normal" to our shared folks, we'd be told "Well of course you'd think that, you're used to your other parent!". The other person was a shovel used for digs: "This isn't their house!". They'd call me by my mom's name when I made them upset.

I assumed I was broken either because of my mom or because of the split. I can't know for certain, of course, but I think the cause of the C-PTSD was specifically that they traded custody daily, at my mom's request, until she moved out of state. She gives the silent treatment. My stepmom screams. The rules changed on me literally every 24 hours until I was 13.

Life evened out a lot when she did move away - but not entirely. I wound up in screamland 90% of the time rather than 50. I couldn't figure out why it didn't feel right or why it kept happening to me, but I believed my folks: I wasn't used to it because my mom's "parenting" is different and worse. I felt sickened to be involved with my mom at all. I thought that if only she wasn't waiting in the wings, I'd be entitled to a normal childhood, but because of her influence, I deserved everything I got.

Anyway, I have been texting my little sister about Christmas gifts for our brother, and out of nowhere, earlier this week, she tells me she's going to therapy for the first time... because she's realized it's not normal for your mom to scream at you literally all day and your dad to not intervene.

I haven't been home for more than three days since I moved out over a decade ago. I had a chance to pass through the town earlier this year, didn't do it, and still had panic attacks for two weeks straight. I can't hack it as someone's daughter; it makes me physically sick.

But that isn't a me problem.

Not a one of them could hack it as parents.

I've stopped hearing my mother's doubts in my head - I cut her off when I moved away. I've never been quite able to shut off my stepmom's. The screamer versus the silence... it fits.

I'm not a poser if I can't create when I don't have a comfortable space to work. I should not self-reject because I'm frightened. In the absence of an abuser, I'm finding that holding ideas in also hurts a lot.

I'm not stupid or useless or gearing up to be a failure for needing the introvert rest period and knowing my limits. It will not hold me back in life.

It isn't normal to want to hurt yourself. It isn't normal for people to laugh it off and talk about themselves when you tell them you want to hurt yourself.

The mandatory insincerity I grew up around has thankfully faded a lot - I don't think I could summarize that anymore if I tried.

I'm heartbroken that my little sister is going to need to learn these things - but ecstatic that she will, and is actively moving towards it. Had a similar conversation with our brother a few years ago, but of course, he has his dad in the wings; it hits differently now knowing that it would have happened no matter what. Children in that home are screamed at, hit, and not defended. Simple as.

I'm not what they wanted me to be.

I'd say that's "fine" but that doesn't even begin to cover it. It's exemplary.
