I pity you working at borgen and burkes even more now that I have started my first full time job. The public are so disgusting, and wasteful. They buy full cups of coffee, bottles of wine, beer etc and take one sip before just leaving it all around the train station to leak everywhere. So gross.

That is horrifying.

Luckily, no such littering occurred at Borgin and Burkes - we attracted a more high end clientele who were also taking pains to be discrete. Leaving behind residue would be the opposite of discreet.

But truly - what you describe not only sounds disgusting, but also like a baffling waste of money.

What does a big ass snake eat for 1000 years while living in the plumbing of a school? Seems like you'd get quite hungry.

Well human, we must make do with the resources we can find. Survival is key. As a serpent I am able to eat one big meal and be full for a few moths to a year. Unfortunately the opportunity doesn't present itself very often so I must feast on moss, bones and a few stray rats. Although the pipes from the kitchen sink sometimes do contain pieces of food.

We've seen you comfort Bellatrix after a nightmare, but has she ever had to comfort you? I'm sure the time you'd didnt have a body hasn't helped you sleep.

I do not have nightmares. 

I just do not sleep.

The Dark Lord was not aware, exactly, what time it was. Late, early - some point therein. Bella was asleep, curled in the bed behind him, as she had been for several hours. But he - he stood before the fire grate, dressed in a light silken dressing gown, his gaze lost in the glowing embers at his feet. 

He had not slept in four days. 

He had hoped summoning Bella to him, to indulge in her body, her warmth - perhaps her affections and the exertion would send him to sleep. That had not been the case. She fell asleep easily beside him, leaving him wide awake, restless, and alone. 

“My Lord?” 

Voldemort blinked, wondering if he had dreamt whilst standing. Had he truly heard her voice?

“My Lord?” 

He turned. 

Bella was sitting up, frowning, the soft dying glow of the fire reflecting in her eyes. “Are you not tired?” 

“No.” 

“When was the last time you slept?” 

Ah. How direct, to the point. She knew him - perhaps too well. “The other night,” he murmured, evasive. 

Bella stood, coming to stand at his side. She was quiet for some time, just gracing him with her presence as they watched the fire continue to die. After a while, she slipped her hand into his, gripping it tightly. “You’re here. You’re real,” she whispered.

He squeezed it back, relishing the physical sensation. “Yes... I suppose I am.” 

“Come back to bed,” she murmured, rubbing the back of his hand with her thumb as she spoke.

He nodded, allowing her to lead him back to the bed, and instead of shying away from her embrace, leaned in, closing his eyes and focusing only on the sensation of her skin against his, her breath, and his own.

“I”m not going anywhere, my Lord,” Bella whispered breathily, sleep already retaking her. 

Lord Voldemort did not respond, and if pressed, would argue her words held no meaning. But Bellatrix Black Lestrange knew, somehow, what plagued him some nights; the phantom sensations of dissolving into the ether, the memories of a vast emptiness, or else the quiet loneliness ad hunger of boyhood.  

Her hand remained in his as he - finally - slipped into a dreamless sleep.

The idea for this came to when I watched s1ep05 (the first episode Lancelot appeared in) and then came the scene at the end where Arthur looks after him, really sad and heartbroken. so my brain ran with that and here we are 9 hours later.

There´s a second version here. (the difference is the ending)

So the general idea is that Arthur and Lancelot met some way (maybe introduced by Merlin) and they fall in love. Uther somehow finds out and is not amused. He and Arthur fight about that, both are stubborn and won't back down. Uther doesn't want to see his son get together with a man. Who knows what other crazy ideas that might give him. Arthur refuses to leave the man loves and he is willing to give just about anything to make Lancelot stay. He even considers leaving Camelot to live the life he wants. Lancelot being the selfless person he is, decides it's best if he leaves since that's what Arthurs father wants anyway.

I fucking hate hearing people chew. Like damn, close your mouth and go away hahah. I love the sound of the thermalcycler in our lab, it’s right near my office and everytime the camera goes, it goes; wooooOOOOOOooo. It’s a cute noise. Trust me.

Nay!

Yes. But I think it’s more likely they’d be plant-like rather than humanoid or some other form of life we can comprehend.

Yes. I got rear-ended once, but it was when we were stopped at a traffic light. The car behind didn’t hit us very hard and only left the smallest of chips of paint, so I’ve never gotten it fixed.

WTF Harry Potter Facts

Been a while so I've done one of these, so hear you go :)

- If a Dementor's blew instead of sucked your soul would be replaced with the last soul the Dementor consumed.

- Voldemort secretly likes to hang out at Muggle traffic light parties because it is the only place where he feels normal.

- At the same time as Hermione set up S.P.E.W (Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare) in the Goblet of Fire Bellatrix set up S.I.C - the Serpent Individuality Convention, as she is a firm believer that snakes such as Nagini have personalities, and should be treated as individuals.

- The only reason Dementor's haven't stopped the ice-caps melting is because they can't figure out a people-less route.

- The ghosts don't show up much in the later movie's because Peeves decided to go to McKamey Manor for a laugh, but was then kept prisoner there and made to entertain Muggles as revenge for them not being able to figure out Butterbeer (the other ghosts tried to rescue him and got stuck too.)

- If Hermione had gone to Voldemort whilst disguised as Bellatrix in movie 8, he might have just told her where the Horcruxes are.

- Bellatrix recently got a tattoo of the words WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE on her lower back, because she believes in sex for all, in spite of being insanely evil and racist (I love Bella)
