TRANSUBSTANTIATION
Name: Elsbet Blum, she/her/hers
Occupation: Hunter, Pirate, Freelance Journalist
Alignment: Anarchist
The year is 2069, the Earth's atmosphere is 83% hydrogen sulfide acid. The surface is unlivable for all but the most durable of bacteria and slime molds. The world's governments have collapsed and humanity has been forced to move to the oceans exclusively. Underwater cities grow, with large corporations controlling the only means to convert water into breathable oxygen. People struggle to get by.
Most cities exist in the shallows, but some brave people dare explore the depths to find treasures with which to barter for room, board and goods. Elsbet Blum is one such adventurer. With her husband Yehuda, her wife Mia and their son Milo, she quests to save enough money to buy a small home of their own, where they can be safe and free from the controls of the wider world.

DAY 1 - DREAM
A booming sound from the sky and the smell of ozone were the only things he could make out after waking up. There was it again, the voice behind his eyes, deep inside his skull, talking to him in a language he didn‘t understand.
I‘m trying to get as many inktober prompts as possible this year, trying to get various media and styles involved to tell about the environment the protagonist is interacting with. Let‘s see how this will evolve :)
The photo in this one was taken by me, some years ago as the sahara winds passed by and painted everything yellow

i finally had some time, so i made this. it is a huge departure from the kind of drawing i usually do and it felt so good. i wanted to prove to myself i could sort of do this. it's far from perfect and looks amateurish, but i am pleased with it.
