Let me incoherently share my favourite Huma headcanon:

Rise timeline doesn't exist, btw, because I don't like it ✨

So, Ben is the King of Auradon at sixteen, right? That means it is also the age of majority in Auradon and on the Isle, not that anyone on the Isle really cares, but anyway. Adult stuff legal. You know, drinking, marriage...

Essentials for a king basically.

Coincidentally, when Core 4 leave for Auradon, the majority of them are sixteen: as are Sea Three.

And when the Core 4 publically declares Good, dooming the other Isle children, in they eyes of the Isle kids at least, well, it is perfectly legal for the pirates get drunk. (They'd get drunk even if it was illegal, but hey. Not the point.)

They get blackout drunk.

You know, hysterical laughter, shouting obscenities towards Auradon and Core Four, picking fights just because. The port is the epicenter of the Isle-wide ruckus, as it has clear wiev of Auradon.

Now, somewhere during that time... Harry Hook and Uma decide that they should get married. Like, right now.

They have not ever told eachother that they care of the other (not out loud), let even admit that there might be something like love between them: Villains can't love, please!

But, you know, it sounded like a good idea at that time.

And since their crew and Harry's sisters and basically all Isle kids have been shipping them since forever, they go along with it.

Gil officiates, of course: he gets the papers and gets Harriet to double check them. (Harriet then forwards the papers to Dr. F. And Yen Sid, making it as official as can be.)

Harry and Uma sign, their signatures clear for the amount of alcohol in their blood.

The hateful and resentful atmosphere turns into a careless celebration, all betrails forgotten for the night.

And when the Harry and Uma wake up next morning, well, they carry on as if nothing changed.

They don't remember a thing.

No one bothers talking to them about the wedding: Everyone assumes they know and just refuse to acknowledge it.

Harriet got just as much of a window as the two of them, and CJ is waiting for the chaotic fall out when they find out.

That doesn't happen for very long, though.

It's years after that when a wedding is mentioned on the Lost Revenge again. It's after the Royal Wedding, too.

„We should get married,“ mentions Uma offhandedly.

Harry, of course, is fully onboard with the idea. They start planning, only to be interrupted by confused Gil:

„Guys?“ he says, „You do know that you are already married, right?“

„WHAT?!“

„Well, yeah. I've got the papers in my cabin, do you want to see them?“

„YES.“

Gil fetches the certificate and the couple inspects them: They look real enough, and those are undoubtedly their signatures. And the date?

„We have been married this whole time?“ wonders Harry.

„Why didn't you tell us?!“ demands Uma, much less amused than Harry.

„Um, we,“ Gil struggles with the answer a bit, „We kidna assumed you knew.“

„What the fuck.“

(That was Uma.)

„Well, I still want a wedding,“ she says moments later, „Since I don't remember the first one.“

She glares at Harry as if it was his fault, and he just cackles: „Second wedding it is, love. Gotta up the purple dragon and the boy king, anyway.“

Okay, in all honesty I don't ship Huma as much as I use to (big fan of Haudrey tbh) but I do have a few of them. And thanks for the ask!

They've known eachother since they were 3. They met during Harry's mother's daycare/nursery class.

Harry helped her name her sharks.

During Evie's 6th birthday party, he got a parrot that he let Uma name. Which is why he had a parrot named 'Hooker' for a good 9 years before it flew away.

It didn't fly away. It died but Uma swore the crew to secrecy so Harry wouldn't be too heartbroken over it.

Harry encourages all of Uma's extracurriculars; singing, swimming with the sharks, training the sharks, pranks, etc.

And she encourages most of his; art, reading, photography, stuffed animal collection, thieving, cards, swimming, and very very small arson.

The reason Uma seemed so annoyed with Evie, other than their differences in personality, was because she's still kind of mad at her for siding with Mal (when she and Harry use to be friends).

They learned to sword fight together.

Harry was secretly siked to be Uma's first mate because he's not great at leading or at least wasn't at first.

Uma knew this already, which is why she was very insistent on being the captain.

The two of them know eachother better than they know themselves.

You know that trope where a couple is told to rid themselves of all their weapons and it takes them forever because they have so many and have them in ridiculous places? Where the couple pulls out ones the other forgot they had? That's them. (Someone should draw that).

Uma makes sure Harry stays healthy because he can be rather neglectful of his health sometimes.

Harry does the same but only when Uma is extremely stressed.

Uma and Gil made Harry his hook so he'd stop trying to lop his actual hand off. Which worked for the most part.

The 6 months were Uma was missing was absolutely hell for Harry. Alot of the crew jumped ship and alot of people blamed him for the plan not working but the thought of how hard they had worked to bulid the crew kept him going.

Their love song would be 'Kids Again'.

Uma is one of the few people who can calm Harry during one of his night terrors /hallucinations.

Harry's soulmark had always confused him. Even when he was old enough to know what exactly a soul mark was.

Because it was like nothing he had ever seen before.

It was of four objects forming an X: a rose, a crown sneaker, a seashell necklace, and a stag head necklace.

Usually people only had a singular or double object that overlapped soulmark. But he had four that didn't even touch one another.

And no one really knew what that meant. Which frustrated him to no end.

He acted like didn't care about it. Joked that it was supposed to represent his life as a pirate. But deep down Harry knew that wasn't true and silently cursed the mark.

Wondering why it couldn't have been simple like Cj's Llama potion one or Ginny's golden gun or even Harriet's flour covered bat.

It was gonna be impossible to find a person with all four of those things!

She had thought so too. Had thought they were supposed to be partners in crime.

And then Gil came along, changing the game entirely and making them realize something jaw dropping.

He had an almost identical soulmark, minus the staghead. Having all four of the other marks in the shape of an X. Just like them.

And if Uma's theory was correct, that meant that they had two other soulmates out there.

Platonic or not.

Soulmates who were most likely not on the isle.

Which only preceeded to make things even more complicated.

They were seven when they both decided to sneak a peak at their soulmarks to find that they were almost identical.

Hers was of a crown sneaker, a hand held hook, a seashell necklace, and a stag head necklace in the shape of an ex.

His was the same but in the place of the sneaker was a rose.

Both of them were confused as to why they weren't allowed to know they were eachother's soulmate.

Audrey just figured it was because her grandmother wanted her and Ben to have a chance.

Her and Chad both knew, deep down, that that wasn't true. Even If they were both in denial about it.

It didn't stop her from growing bitter towards Chad even though she knew it wasn't his fault that they would never meet their soulmates.

Maleficent's staff multipled those feelings when it possessed her and made her act out terribly towards him.

And, as she would find out much later, it made her act out against her other 3 soulmates as well.

Audrey would never stop regretting it.

And when Gil dragged Chad to the Lost Revenge that night, the 5 of them finally felt at peace.

Uma answers the phone, and it's the standard "We have your boyfriend!" ransom call.

For a second she just stands there with a thoughtful look, like she's doing mental math. "Uh-huh..."

"Now, if you ever want to see him again-"

"No, shut up for a second, I'm tryna think."

"You...What?"

She thinks for another second and then gives up. "Alright, you're gonna have to tell me who you have. If it was Ben, you'd have said you have the king; if it was Harry or Gil, I'd be impressed..."

"It's not me!" Gil calls out helpfully from another room. "And Jay's sitting on my lap."

"And it's not Jay," she adds. "So, who'd you catch?"

The voice on the other end of the phone grunts in annoyance. "You know, the blond guy."

"The blond guy's here; that's what I just said."

"No, the-! Cinderella's son. I forget his name; he hasn't been on the news in a while." There's an offended noise, ostensibly from a gagged prince of Cinderellasburg who didn't appreciate the comment on his diminishing spotlight.

"Oh my gods," Uma groans. "You got Chad? He's not even my boyfriend; he's my girlfriend's boyfriend. Did he say he's my boyfriend?"

"He said we should think twice about holding him for ransom because the queen of the sea was going to destroy us."

"Well, yeah, but only because it's the cool thing to do." Uma is putting on her sword belt and jacket at this point. "I mean, Audrey would be pissed if I just let him be kidnapped. Is there a reason you called me? He told you I'd destroy you, and you thought 'I have an idea, let's call her?' How'd you even get my number?"

"Listen closely! We took him because we thought the royals of Cinderellasburg would pay a hefty price for his return. But now that we know he's valuable to the queen of the sea as well, we'd like to make a deal. If you sink the ships of our enemies, we'll return the prince to you with all his fingers."

"Dude, I don't even know who your enemies are. Do you have nautical coordinates?"

"There are five ships we'd like you to sink. I'm sending you the first set of coordinates now, and if the ship is not destroyed within the hour, the prince loses two fingers."

"Got it," Uma muses, glancing across the room at Carlos, who gives her a thumbs up.

"And before you think about attacking us, you should know we're landlocked!"

"Yeah, for sure. I hear you." She's putting eyeliner on in the mirror.

"The first ship, now! When you're done, we'll send the next coordinates."

"Great, yeah. Okay."

The phone hangs up.

"That was long enough to get his location, right?" she asks over her shoulder.

"Yep, we got him," Carlos answers. He's in bed, but he pulled his laptop onto his lap as soon as the matter of hostages was mentioned.

"Cool. Guess I'll go get Chad and...I don't know, kill that guy?"

"No killing. Remedial Goodness."

"Oh, like the crown isn't responsible for-...Whatever. I'll just break his knees."

Another thumbs up. Jane, sitting next to Carlos, looks slightly bewildered, but she hops up to grab Uma's hat for her as she heads out the door.
