"I promise" - Kokushibou x Reader

AFTERLIFE COLLAB

.｡.:*✧Synopsis: You and Kokushibou died in the battle against two Hashira, only to meet in the afterlife and be reunited.

`` Kokushibou! ``

You called out to him, but to no avail. The fight you so desperately tried to survive in had come to an end just like that. The Upper Moon's head had come off in an instant at the two Hashira being able to effectively decapitate the demon. You stood there, utterly bewildered at the fact that they were successful in doing so. You had such high hopes that you both would be able to live after years of fighting and for Kibutsuji's victory so that living for hundreds of years did not go to waste.

And yet, just why did you live for so long? 

Only to be killed eventually?

You dropped to your knees at the sight before you, yet that one nerve in your body telling you to fight and live would not let up. Your body moved before your brain could register your next actions, for you rushed into battle without a second thought and a proper plan. You had no idea what you were doing, all you knew was that tears were staining your cheeks and both the Wind Pillar and Rock Pillar were coming to pursue you as well. 

It all happened so fast, and in the blink of an eye, your own head eventually came off as well. Your mind was so blurred with disdain and vexation that you simply did not care, all you wanted was to see Kokushibou before he fully withered away. You turned to the side so that you would not have to face the two Hashira who were your natural born enemy, but by doing so, you saw Kokushibou's head in your direction as well, looking at you with tears welling and a somewhat softer expression. You both stared into each other's eyes, allowing your soft cries to take over your eardrums at being separated by death, something you promised to each other that would not happen, but fate had other plans.

`` Promise me I'll see you when we are reborn. ``

Your lips had moved on their own, speaking with such determination that the Upper Moon before you was astonished, regardless of withering slowly. All the male could do was force a small smile before reaching out the hand of his that was somewhat still here, brushing his fingertips against your own. Noting what he was attempting at, you grabbed his hand before your arm began withering as well, feeling the small warmth emit from his fingers as you both stared into each other's eyes. It felt like an eternity as you slowly died, the memories of the time you shared with not only the other Upper Moons, but your one and only as well. And soon, you would be nothing but a memory of those who will live to tell the tale.

Just before fading, you heard a faint voice from Kokushibou's corpse that almost faded entirely, fighting to say those few words that meant more to you than any other sentence uttered before. 

`` I.. promise. ``

And with that, your lover had faded away entirely, leaving you to continue your process of death. Heaven or Hell, you did not care where you were to end up, as long as you would be reunited with your demon of a lover, then your happiness would return. 

The world around you slowly went dark, fading until everything was black. The sorrow that your heart felt was lifted, and suddenly you found your eyes peeling open. 

Your surroundings shifted to a long hallway that seemed to have arches and walls with large windows that reached the floor on either side. 

You were alone, or at least that is what you presumed from how the only thing that you could hear were birds chirping in the distance and water as well. Walking forward, you note how on one side of the hallway had crystal clear water, and the other was an abyss blanketed with clouds and peaks of mountains in the distance. Was this the fabled afterlife people spoke of? Was this where your soul would rest for all eternity? 

You had so many questions and so little answers. Your clothing changed from your demon attire to a dress of pure white silk adorned with a gold band around your waist, the fabric flowing in the small breeze that enveloped your skin in warmth as you walked further down until you noticed a tall black silhouette not too far from where you stood. Your footsteps picked up, trying to decipher who the mysterious person was until you were close enough to pick up a full outline of the being. The figure had long spiked hair held in a high ponytail, wearing a silky white shirt akin to your dress, as well as white pants. The sunset in the distance allowed you to make out whatever build the man had, which was seemingly muscular and gave you a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. A familiar one that was telling every nerve in your body to say the name of your one and only.

`` Kokushibou? ``

Instead of calling his name in distress like you did what seemed forever ago, your tone was like a gentle melody that faded into the wind and into the male's eardrums. Your voice calling out to him so gentle and sweet, that he turned around in an instant. You expected to be met with the appearance of the six eyed demon you know and love, but instead standing before you was a handsome young male who resembled him quite a lot, so you knew with the snap of a finger who it was. 

He stood there and stared, astonishment taking over his features upon seeing you again even in the afterlife that seemed in the far future. The being turned so that his body was fully facing you, silence taking over until his footsteps that were coming closer to you echoed throughout the hallway. He did not stop until he was close enough to truly take in your original form on a gorgeous woman that also closely resembled your demon form. Yet again silence overtook the both of you, the realization that your souls would be connected even after death hitting like a train to your emotions, sending them in every which way. 

Your eyes become bloodshot as tears welled on your bottom eyelid, your lips quivering as if you were to speak, yet you could not give voice to anything. There he was, your lover, with you again. 

He then stepped forward to pull you into his embrace, giving him the chance to allow his own tears to fall as his face is suddenly buried into your hair, inhaling your addicting scent that he longed for during your small separation. Your arms snaked their way around his neck, finally allowing a sob to escape your gaped mouth, allowing every emotion you held back to finally be released. 

`` Michikatsu. Mi..Michikatsu is fine, `` you heard a voice say. Retracting from his embrace, you stare into his plum eyes, a smile being etched onto your features. 

`` [Y/N] is fine as well. ``

Your eyes flickered between his eyes and his lips, before your flesh moved on its own, connecting your lips to his own in a chaste kiss shared in secret with your lover known as Michikatsu. No other soul could disturb you ever again, for now you found peace in wherever you stood, whether it be Heaven or Hell where you awoke, you did not care so long as your one and only would be there by your side.

Grabbing hold of one another's hand, you embark on your walk down the hall until the bright light fades, joining each other on your journey of being with each other forever more.

Write about the time Yuta Okkotsu got stuck in an elevator, or about the misadventures of college athlete Bertholdt Hoover! Borderline Y! Tooru Oikawa x Reader

Synopsis: In a young relationship, the road is always rocky. But it isn’t supposed to be a life spent dodging boulders cemented into the pavement and falling from the sky.

Warnings: VERY toxic Oikawa, Borderline yandere, very controlling, angst no comfort, injury(not described thoroughly but just in case), yelling, arguing, mention of a past speech impediment (stutter), degrading words, Oikawa gets a tiny bit physical but it is stopped by the reader being a bad bitch, suggesting towards not completely consensual sex (NO SMUT), breakup.

Unlocking the door to your flat, you were greeted with eerie silence and darkness. Taking a deep breath, you got to work before your boyfriend got home. Cleaning countertops of imaginary dust, unloading the dishwasher you loaded that morning after an early fight, and starting dinner. As the timer for the noodles dinged you heard keys jangling down the hallway followed by the quick talking of Oikawa. Quickly turning away from the door, you started to take the noodles out of the water, hoping he was hungry so you wouldn’t get yelled at for wasting food. The door opened and the only sound that was going through the flat was the sound of food being softly prepared and his conversation with whoever was on the other side of the phone. With a simple goodbye he swept over to you and wrapped his arms around your waist, watching you put the sugar and water into the mixture. Testing the waters you asked,

“How was practice today?”

“Tiring, what is this baby?”

“N-Nikujaga”

“Ah, it looks delicious. But what did I say about that stutter darling,” His arms got slightly tighter around you as he whispered into your ear, “I thought it was gone?” You tensed as his arms got even tighter. But he let out a chuckle and roughly kissed your temple, letting go and walking to the bedroom. Giving yourself a second to stop the shaking in your hands, you added the last ingredients then left it to simmer. Emerging from the bedroom in pajamas, Oikawa turned on the TV to a current volleyball game. ‘He plays that team in about a month,’ a voice from the back of your head reminds you, making you cringe at the fact that you have his schedule memorized. Soon, you had everything set up on the kitchen table, wondering how you were going to call Oikawa to the table before he just got up and sat down at the seat across from you. You smiled at him, assuming this was his way of apologizing for this morning and sat down. Silence fell as you both ate, with the occasional blare from the game in the background or the clicking of chopsticks. Eventually, his empty bowl was pushed towards you as he got up and walked to the TV to continue analyzing the game.

8:23 pm

You now craved the awkward silence that washed over the flat just hours ago, you craved loneliness over the yelling and towering form of Oikawa. The words that sink into your skin, nothing new from him but they still stung the same. The clenching in your heart at every insult, critique or ‘I love you, but’ made you feel like you were having a heart attack. The tears that slid down your cheeks had no effect on the man towering over you. He was not the soft, fun-loving, playful lover you met in college, he grew into an uncaring man that only gave his own feelings the time of day. A possessive man that only wanted you as a toy. You don’t even remember what brought this argument, whether you actually did something wrong, or if it was a mood swing, or something happened outside of you two. He sounded annoyed on the phone, but he wasn’t acting annoyed after, well until you stuttered. Thoughts started flooding your brain, thinking about what you did right and what you did wrong today.

“Well, answer me!” He yelled, making you snap out of your daze and look at him. His eyes filled with anger, questioning, but not a single bit of hesitation or remorse. You opened your mouth, only to close it again and look down. When he spoke again his voice was low, and he was talking slowly, as if talking to a child. “Do I need to repeat myself brainless bitch?” his hand reached for your face, ignoring when you flinched hard, and grabbed your chin harshly, tilting it up towards him. He just scoffed, letting go and stalked into the bedroom, slamming the door behind him. A whimper came from your throat as you pulled an extra blanket out of the hallway closet, falling down after the blanket was a dark blue box. Opening it, you found old pictures, some jewelry and a few other memorabilia. The sobs you were trying to hold back broke their way through, ripping through your chest as you tried to muffle them with the blanket. You don’t know how long you sat there, crying but when the tears stopped it was dead silent in the flat except for the ticking of a clock. Quietly putting the box away, you dragged yourself off of the couch and fell asleep to the clock’s ticking.

5:04 am

You woke up to the sound of Oikawa’s alarm, and were hit by the soreness of sleeping on the couch. With a small grunt you got up and padded to the kitchen, putting on a pot of coffee. Pulling down some ingredients off of shelves and out of the fridge, you started the process of making his favourite. Right when you put the dough in the bowl to rise, Oikawa came out of the bedroom, immediately searching for your figure. He smiled, seeing you in the kitchen, pulling out leftover rice from last night. You spotted him when you glanced at the clock, letting out a soft breath. He made his way over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you up, a yelp coming from your lips.

“Milk bread? You spoil me,” he said, through strained laughs. His arms tightened around you until it felt like he was giving you the heimlich before dropping you, making you land awkwardly and a pain shoot up your ankle. He walked out of the kitchen, grabbing his water bottle on the way and threw up a peace sign on his way out. You waited until you heard the door click before putting all your weight on the counter next to you. Taking a few deep breaths, trying your weight on your ankle, it seemed okay. Walking to the hallway, you opened up the closet and pulled out an elastic bandage. After haphazardly wrapping your ankle with the bandage you walked back over to the kitchen to continue working. In the hour and a half it took for his run you managed to finish making breakfast and packing his lunch.

Eventually his footsteps echoed down the hall again, to which you quickly unwrapped your foot and shoved the bandage into a cabinet nearby. You pulled the milk bread out of the oven, placing it on the counter right as he opened the door. He ignored your look at him and rushed to the shower. With a soft breath you started cleaning the kitchen, until he came back out in his practice jersey. He rushed over to the kitchen, grabbing a piece of the milk bread and the bento you laid on the counter. Still chewing on the bread he says

“What are you going to do today?” his voice surprised you, not used to talking so soon after a fight. Usually the morning after a fight he was aggressively affectionate, basically forcing you into the bedroom. Your silence at the question was not unnoticed by the brunette. “Have you seriously forgot how to talk or something?” he paused, “God, I thought being nice would maybe get a fucking reponse…” he mumbled, looking down with a sickening smile on his face. The smile dropped when he saw a bit of fabric peek out from a cracked open cabinet. You didn’t notice this change, scrambling to find words to say.

“Oh, im sorry I’m not used to you talking to me after a fight.” You say, trying to not put any kind of tone in your voice. He didn’t respond, bending down to the cabinet and opening it. Your eyes widened at the movement, seeing the bandage as well.

“Now I know for a fact,” he pulled out the wrap, “Bandages don’t go in a fucking kitchen cabinet. He watched as you unconsciously took weight off of your hurt foot. “Oh what was it, you tripped a bit and hurt your food? Fuckin’ clutz…” He trailed off, walking to the hallway closet.

“No, actually.” You spoke, snapping “it was from when you dropped me earlier.” He turned around sharply,

“Oh really? I hurt you? I would never do that baby, don't blame your mistakes on others.” His sickly sweet voice made your anger burn harder.

“Oh bullshit!” You ran a hand through your hair “You always fucking hurt me-”

“I’ve never laid a hand on you!”

“WITH YOUR WORDS OIKAWA” You spit out his last name, “you are the most verbally abusive person I know!-”

“Baby you know-” He started walking towards you.

“NO! Don’t call me baby,” you spit out the pet name like it was as toxic as he was, holding your hand out as if it would stop him coming closer, “I’m done! I should have been done months ago but you always stopped me! Dragging me into the bedroom and making me forget your hurtful shit.”

“Y/N, please baby this isn’t you, I-”

“No this is m-me! Cause all you ever wanted to do was control what I did! And said!” You cringed at the stutter before slamming the bedroom door shut, quickly followed by his fists banging on the door. You quickly grabbed the first bag you could find, throwing clothes into it while frantically texting a friend. The door knob twisted a turned for a while before going silent, thinking he stopped trying you moved to the bathroom, getting your hygiene products. As you walked to your bag the door slammed open, revealing Oikawa. He pulled the bobby pin from the knob and rushed to you. He pulled the bag from your hands and threw it, easily overpowering you by the surprise. You tried to run to where he threw the bag before he grabbed your waist, pushing you onto the bed. In a flurry of limbs you managed to kick his stomach and punch him pretty hard in the jaw. He fell back onto the ground, giving you a space to run out the bedroom and to your, hopefully, awaiting friend downstairs. Your phone blowing up as he called and texted what seemed like an infinite amount of times.

It didn’t matter how your foot, and hand, hurt like hell, or how your friend was rattling off how wrong you were to stay with him. You broke up with him, and actually left, that’s the only thing on your mind right now.

.｡.:*✧Synopsis: You and Michikatsu are secretly dating in college, mainly to not attract attention from both his brother and a certain horny friend of his. How will you react when you are caught?

.｡.:*✧[A/N]: This is my part of the Secret/Fake dating collab by @httptamaki, a Modern!AU with our favorite Kimetsu No Yaiba twins!

➢ How you two started dating? Well you met back in High School and that’s where things started to prosper

➢ Michikatsu was a generally well known man with your classmates, and even had a few girls crushing on him and his twin brother, Yoriichi, due to their scarily good looks

➢ Both twins were scarily attractive and that intimidated you at first, especially during high school

`` Have you seen the Tsugikuni brothers today?! They look so good! I tried asking Yoriichi out today but his attention was else where! `` You were off somewhere in the corner of a class, speaking with a close friend of yours about something completely unrelated until all eyes were on you, for Michikatsu Tsugikuni approached you.

➢ Obviously, you were surprised - no, appalled at how a Tsugikuni wanted your attention

➢ That was the day he confessed his own little crush on you whilst being on the roof of the school. How could you not accept? You also had taken a liking to the attractive raven haired male and saying no would be similar to jumping off the same roof where you admitted your feelings

➢ That's when worry set in

➢ All types of girls, boys, and theys liked them both, and constantly thirsted over the two while claiming "they're mine!" It was immature to say the least, but entertaining to see their feelings not get reciprocated from one of them

`` What if by saying we are together, they would start attacking me on purpose? Or saying hurtful things out of spite? `` You inquired with worry laced in your tone. Michikatsu took your hand in his, expressing his own idea. `` I know this might not seem like the best idea, but we do not have to openly tell people we are together, it can be our secret. ``

➢ And that's how your secret relationship started

➢ Of course, you had your worries, but seeing as how your relationship even made it to college due to it starting in your senior year of high school, they all simply washed away

➢ It was actually not as hard as you made it out to be to hide your relationship. During your first year of college, you knew not to act too close, but instead as acquaintances who simply knew each other back in high school

➢ Yet, even though some females who also went to high school with you recognized you as the girl who got asked out by Michikatsu, they did not cause any problems surprisingly enough

➢ Now, you're probably asking how you got caught? Oh boy...

➢ During your second year of college, Yoriichi and Michikatsu started living off campus in their own home that you were excited to learn of from your lover who happily shared the news to you when you both were alone in your dorm

➢ Around that same time, Professor Muzan Kibutsuji, the one teacher you loath the most for always favoring other students and failing to hide it, assigned a group project of 5 for your classroom, and to your luck, you were put in a group with not only the twins, but Douma and Shinobu

➢ You were friends with Shinobu, but not so much with Douma. The male would constantly tease you, trying to get your number at any given second while you were put together at a different table to brainstorm ideas for said project

`` Sooo..~ What are we doing for the project hm? Maybe we should exchange numbers so that we can converse more afterwards. `` Douma's suggestion did not go unnoticed by everyone, who automatically knew what he meant by the wink he directed in your attention. Shinobu, who thankfully also hated the male, slapped him silly upside his head.

➢ Michikatsu, who absolutely despised him, always struggled to hide a specific vein that would pulse on his neck that hinted clear signs of aggravation, but unfortunately, you two were just not ready to openly express your relationship

➢ After the class and the slap hurricane Shinobu laid upon Douma, Yoriichi invited the group to their house, and you being excited that you could finally come over, said yes a little too quickly

➢ Thankfully, it did go unnoticed by everyone, so your nerves were relaxed

`` I'd love to, but I have plans with a special lady that weekend, so unfortunately I cannot make it, maybe Shinobu ca- `` ``I cannot make it either, but [Y/N] can and she'll text me the ideas anyways, have fun, `` was all the biology major female said before turning on her heel and leaving swiftly.

➢ Now having plans set in motion, you waited patiently for the weekend to arrive, and when it did, you were beyond ecstatic

➢ That's where everything went down hill

➢ Thanks to the directions messaged to you by Michikatsu, you made it to their estate with no issues. You were nervous and excited at the same time. It was impossible to not feel such ways when this is the first official time you would be in the private space of your boyfriend

➢ He had also given you a key to entering was not a problem, but what you did not expect to see was your boyfriend standing there and waiting for you

`` Yoriichi isn't going to be home this evening, so I figured we could come up with our own project instead, `` Michikatsu said with a fire ablaze in his eyes as he grew closer to you. The gaze itself caused shivers to emit from your spine once your brain registered at what he was suggesting, and you could not lie, the idea had you wet already.

➢ Obviously you and the raven haired male had slept together a plethora amount of times before, most times leaving you sore and having to suck it up and pretend nothing happened during classes while he sat proudly knowing he was the reason

➢ In a matter of seconds you both are now in his bedroom, you beneath him and him leaving butterfly kisses up and down your neck until his lips latch onto yours again, all the while getting you undressed

➢ You and Michikatsu were extremely silent at your group table during Professor Kibutsuji's class. Obviously Shinobu's observant self took note of this, along with how you did not send her any of the "ideas" you came up with

➢ Shinobu, Douma, and Yoriichi all stared at the two of you, who were now sitting beside each other and being reddened messes at the news you are about to drop on the observers who were starting to get impatient

➢ You've been secretly dating for years and now that the truth is about to come out, it felt gut wrenching to say the least

`` My brother and [Y/N] have something they'd like to say, `` Yoriichi started so that the topic could get a move on and everyone could get a good grade by getting it over with and working on the project. `` Well..- `` said Michikatsu. `` [Y/N] and I are together, and we have been since high school. We were in a secret relationship. ``

➢ Douma being the fucker he is definitely busted out laughing, holding his stomach as tears formed in his eyes

➢ Shinobu on the other hand stared wide eyed, refusing to believe that she could not realize you both were together for such a long time

➢ Although Yoriichi had a proud smile on his face in view of the fact that the news was already out

➢ But due to the prying ears of many around you, some began staring at your table, the secret was now out and you couldn't do anything about it

➢ Even though, you both were happy knowing you no longer had to hide the happiness you two brought each other, as well as now Michikatsu does not have to worry about Yoriichi anymore, for now he will fuck you if he feels like it, give you attention if he feels like it, and get attention himself if he feels like it.

· I want to say first and foremost, I’m not obligated to write anything you send. If something makes me uncomfortable I won’t write it, so please understand that.

· My requests are open for headcanons, drabbles and thirsts only. Writing fics is really taxing and difficult so I don’t want the added pressure. Although, if you send me something that really inspires me I may be open to writing a full length fic. 

·        !!! MINORS DNI !!! Literally leave me alone!

· You can request pretty much anything, I write dark content, smut, angst and fluff. But I do have limits, please check out my rules for more information on what I will and won’t do. 

· I’ve only read two manga’s, BNHA and JJK. So please be aware of that since I’d like to avoid spoilers if possible!

· Be as clear as possible with your requests so it makes it easier for me to write them. 

· I’m open to trying to write new characters but I do have my favourites. If you request someone I don’t know or feel comfortable with I won’t write it but I will answer your ask telling you so

· Please don’t be expecting me to churn out content. I have things to do outside of Tumblr and I just want to have a nice relaxing time here. I write for fun so I’ll get to requests at my own pace, I hope you all understand!!
