logan was born to a drug addicted mother, father unknown, who tried to raise her but mostly just neglected her, even left her home alone sometimes. it didn’t take long for someone to call child protective services on her and logan was removed from the house. while being checked out in the pediatric intensive care unit, her now adoptive father saw her and heard she was going to be put in foster care. he and his wife had been wanting another kid anyway so they immediately asked to adopt her. this was the part of her backstory she wasn’t aware of. to this day, logan is not aware she was adopted.

she grew up knowing herself as the youngest daughter of a surgeon and a psychologist with an older brother and two older sisters. she loved her sisters but she was always the closest to her brother. she looked up to him like a role model and sure they had their sibling fights, but overall he was one of her best friends.

her parents heavily encouraged the kids to become doctors. while some of her siblings disobeyed that and went into other fields, logan went along with that and is currently in medical school to be an oncologist. deep down, what she truly wanted to be was a vet tech like her brother. shiloh had tried to convince her to go for what she wanted but logan had convinced herself that she belonged in oncology so that’s where she went.

logan’s parents never showed very much affection toward each other, if any at all. they showered the kids with love but never displayed it to each other. logan vowed she would never be that way with her partner. a relationship wasn’t a business transaction, they both deserved love and affection.

despite always being heavily stressed during the school year, logan is an overall sweet person. she moved out about a year ago because she needed to be more independent. she has a little chiweenie named posie who she absolutely adores.

* Atlas was born in Constanta, Romania to a Greek mother and a Romanian father, he has two younger sisters but they were born in the states a few years later after they moved

* Firefighting is in his blood, his father became a firefighter as soon as they all moved to the states, and Atlas idolized him so there was no question that he was going to be a firefighter as well 

* TW: Death  Shortly after he had turned 15, his is father unfortunately responded to a five alarm fire, which normally for their department was routine, but he went back in to save some trapped kids and while they made it out safely, a beam collapsed and brought the roof down on him.

a native of south carolina and daughter of a military father and trophy mother. chelsea grew up in a pretty strict environment, one she never flourished in.

they moved around a bit in her youth but settled back in fort bragg (back in south carolina). her father is a special forces commander.

she is a twin, and i hate pushing plots but this will be an open wc (fraternal, not identical)

her mother was a world champion figure skater, and she pushed both children into it. chelsea took to it an an incredible pace and at a young age she was already being trained by some of the best.

figure skating became her world and her mother was running it. everything was controlled, and chelsea was suffocated.

in 2014 she won the silver medal in the olympic figure skating, ladies’ singles. a slight almost fall caused her to lose points when she could have won it all. her mother never let her forget.

injury tw: in 2018 she returned and did not place. this time she fell during her triple axel and the concussion cut her out of the competition

her mother saw her as a failure after this and so chelsea ran off to nyc and hasn’t looked back. that was two years ago.

she figure skates for fun, and she does compete in some competitions, but she will never return to the olympics or worlds again.

the competitions she does do are enough to pay for a comfortable life and she has a few sponsorships as well that you’d only know if you were big into the world of figure skating.

chelsea isn’t a hard person to love or get to know. she wants to be friends, she wants to be social. she can be a bit of a bitch, but she is a social creature. def a fwb girl and not a relationship girl bc of her mother which will be a wc but basically she was forced to break up with her first love.

Rose has histrionic personality disorder, a personality disorder causing excessive attention-seeking behaviors. Rose craves the attention of others, almost like she cannot go on without any. She’s always talking to someone, entertaining someone. This disorder also causes her to have dramatic outbursts, especially when she feels strongly about something.

She’s always been into painting, ever since she was young. It was a hobby her mother held, and quickly became a focus of Rose’s life. As she got older, it became a way for Rose to express herself. To focus her energy somewhere other then her constant need for the attention of another.

Her mother suddenly died in Rose’s sophomore year from a car accident, and the loss was devastating to Rose and her father. Rose was inconsolable for months, and this was the beginning of her depression diagnostic. Her father, retreated into his work and to this day, doesn’t have much to do with his daughter, which certainty didn’t help.

After graduating high school and working odd jobs around town, with her father harassing her about going to college like her boyfriend  — she suffered a devastating heartbreak at the hands of her high school sweetheart and Rose knew she had to make a change or else she was going to keep spiraling downward and now there was no one who was going to care to help. She tried to distract herself with interesting jobs, or finding new hobbies but none of that changed the fact that she was still in New Haven, where everything that mattered to her once was and no longer is.

So Rose moved from New Haven, Connecticut to New York City. Hoping to start something better for herself, and to get away from the things at home that make her spiral into episodes of depression.

Besides painting, Rose likes to party. She likes to go out to the bars and the nightclubs, though drinking isn’t exactly her forte. She just likes being in crowds of people and having a good time.

Surprise it me. 

Ever since he was young, Valerio loved dance. While most of his friends were getting into soccer and football, he was begging his parents to put him in dance classes. His dad being a very blue collar guy didn’t like, agree with, or support it however his mother eventually caved and put him in various classes

He was teased alot by most of the guys he knew, most of them calling him Valeria to tease him--but he didn’t let it get him down--he knew he was good and plus he was the one spending time with all their girlfriends in dance class.

After he graduated high school his father expected him to “get serious and give up on the dancing thing” but school was never his strong suit, and instead he continued training--moving his focus into ballet and being accepted into the New York Ballet Company. 

He was part of the company for a few months before meeting his partner Odette who he quickly became close with. 

It was only a few months into her partnership when she injured herself--and though he was not directly related to the injury he blamed himself--especially after finally convincing her to see a doctor and finding out what had happened. 

Fun fact--jk sad fact, he has not spoken to his father since being accepted into the company and his father has never come to see a single one of his performances. However his mother is always front and center...with an empty seat reserved for his father next to him.

Okay hello this is my angle bby Lottie and here are some fun facts about her (I’ll take any and all connections for her!!)

She was born in Brazil to two teen parents, they decided they didn’t want the responsibility of raising a child so she was raised by her Grandmother and moved to NYC when she was 13. 

She had a hard time learning English at first and was bullied a lot for it, on top of being bullied for her figure which was much more developed than other girls her age. 

She is very smart and was always the top of her class, but she knew that college was A. too expensive and B. She needed to help her Grandmother with the small bakery she owned--which she still works at now to this day and loves it very much. 

When she is angry or excited she can tend to slip back into Portuguese without realizing it

Her Grandmother is the only person who is allowed to call her Carlotta. 

She often doesn’t realize if/when people are flirting with her because she’s not sure if they’re being genuine or making fun of her due to the kids growing up being mean to her

She’s only ever been “asked out” once in her life as a teenager--which turned out to be a dare and she got stood up and hasn’t really put herself out there that much since--she’ll blame it on work though.

hunter has lived in new york with her twin for her whole life, aside from college. her twin was her favourite person in the whole world. she felt like her family dynamic was perfect until her father was caught cheating on her mother. they inevitably got a divorce and the twins were forced to choose between their parents. up until then, Hunter and her twin were very close. 

while hunter chose her mother, which she thought was the only choice, her twin chose their father. this caused her to resent her father for breaking up their family and things between her and her twin were never the same. to this day, she doesn’t have a good relationship with either one. her father tried for years to have a relationship with her but she wanted no part of it. Her mother remarried and hunter has come to love her step-dad as her father.

growing up, hunter was a little overweight when she was younger. she was teased about it a lot to the point she was looking for any way she could to lose weight which is what brought her to bulimia. this began after her parents separated so it was easy to hide from her family. eventually her mom found out and got her the help she needed. since then she has been very careful to keep her body healthy so she doesn’t turn to that again. she still struggles with the temptation from time to time but as long as she keeps herself healthy, she can keep it under control.

growing up, drawing was her escape from everything. no matter what was going on in her life, she could lose herself in the art. at some point she became passionate about graphic design and ended up going to school for it at the university of pennsylvania. after completing her degree, she moved back to the city. she’s now doing small odd jobs for extra money while looking for a more permanent placement.

Dr. Bliss Constanza Ortiz is a forensic pathologist with the NYPD, performing autopsies and determining the cause of death in victims laid upon her metal table. She’s well respected in her field, but often looked upon as an odd egg for her strange behaviors such as a lack of facial expressions and emotion, her over use of sarcasm that leads people to question whether it’s actually sarcasm, and her strange, morbid hobbies such as taxidermy and the collection of cursed objects.

Bliss, despite her name, is anything but blissful. She’ll tell you to blame her hippie parents for the mishap that is her first name. Often, she’d much rather be referred to as Dr. Ortiz. 

While growing up with a loving mother and father, Bliss seemed to be a normal child, until the age of six, when her older sister went missing. She didn’t understand what happened, or what was going on. Her parents made sure to shelter her far more after the disappearance, and for years, the Ortiz family desperately searched for Rosaline, until seven years later, when an anonymous tip came through. With that, police were able to locate remains, and from then on, Bliss was obsessed with the idea of solving tragedies through morbidity.

Bliss lost most sense of humor throughout her unfortunate childhood, mostly enjoying books and her studies. In high school, she excelled, though she had quite the temper(though concealed by her cool exterior, and difficult to detect if serious or sarcastic). She managed to receive scholarships not only to her choice school but to her safety school as well, attending Stanford University for biology in undergrad, and receiving her doctorate at Harvard university years later in pathology. 

Being referenced to the NYPD for her outstanding work and impressive thesis, she began working her way up in the morgue a year after moving into the apartments. She’s thriving, but quite the insomniac.

If you see her in the halls, it’s best to assume she isn’t interested in chatter.
