bokuto buying akaashi a weighted blanket so he goes to sleep easier.

bokuto notices akaashi always put his work down faster, yawns more frequently, and slumps more—when bokuto was wrapped around him. this happens bc akaashi’s body is used to bokuto’s cuddle weight when sleeping. it’s been conditioned into feeling sleepier with more weight. so bokuto goes BOOM. matching weight blankets when i’m not home? akaashi gets sleepier. win win.

so when bokuto is away at games and akaashi is overworking himself at home, he makes an act of wanting akaashi to use the blanket he got him while working bc “it’s cute and bokuto misses him”, and bokuto bought himself a matching one so they can match while video calling. he obv misses akaashi but it’s a ploy to get his bf to sleep faster. he uses the blanket, and within 10 mins, mr workaholic manga editor is rubbing his eyes, and yawning. point 1 Bokuto.
