i choose to live in denial about the fact that there are so many desires for 'Babies Ever After' in Polin immediately following the conclusion of season 3 because like. . .this woman is nineteen!!! at the start of it all she should be at the club having a panic attack! and at the end, she should be getting railed up and down the European coast by her hot husband who has miraculously good pull-out game!
we are not the same!!!

controversial opinion time! i think the way everyone acted was a realistic ~morning after~ (cannibalism edition) within the context of the show. the only person we see having what we would imagine as a realistic reaction to having eaten a person they knew is taissa. that is NOT only because she doesn't remember it but also because by not remembering making that choice with everyone else she's not a part of the new unspoken rule. it's like a pact. coach ben is visibly alienated from everyone now for his disdain and lack of participation - mirroring their rejection of jackie after doomcoming for her loud protest of what the girls did to travis - and they're in this tiny society they created where this becomes an acceptable thing to do by virtue of not stating any ill feelings about it, by insisting that's what jackie would have wanted or that it was purely for survival. i don't think they agree not to tell anyone what happened out there as just a reaction to being rescued. rather.. it's something that comes naturally in order to protect their collective psyche after committing an act they know they can never speak about to anyone who wasn't there. and maybe not even to those who were

lorde saying she lived in a 5 star hotel in new york at 18/19 and had no idea it was expensive is just further proof that becoming rich and famous as a young teenager makes you so detached from reality that you become irreparably stupid

No hate against Darren Barnet, but while the scene with Paxton talking to his mom was heartwarming, I couldn't enjoy it fully. All I could think of the whole time was "He looks so much older than his own mom???"
