an addition to the “chase and thirteen accidentally call house dad” crack series of posts: thirteen and chase decide to prank house for christmas. together they buy him a mug that says “world’s shittiest dad”. thirteen also gifts him a hat that says “women want me, fish fear me” and chase gets him one of those obnoxiously patterned vacation dad button down shirts. cuddy is horrified when house shows up to work the day after christmas wearing cargo shorts, sunglasses, sandals, the hat, and the ugliest shirt she’s ever seen, drinking coffee with a little umbrella in it from a brand new “world’s shittiest dad” mug.

reminiscing about cleaning grandmas house. grandma had dementia. it was bad. she would never let us clean for her & her house was So Nasty. pepsi all over everything. big mess. ok. so we devise a Plan. in which mom takes her out on the town for a while so dad & i can sneak in and clean. you ever take an elderly woman with dementia and the absolute most godforsaken knees out shopping? it is not a fast process. so we figure we got time. we're cleaning. we're scrubbing the kitchen floor. about halfway done. soapy pepsi water everywhere. whole big production. i just happen to look out the window and i see that stupid goddamn little red car pull up i go THEYRE BACK. my dad thinks im joking bc they been gone maybe 15 minutes no Way are they already back. Theyre Back. water everywhere. i gotta go out & stall while my dad quick pulls that shit together so she doesnt go inside & become enraged. turns out my mom never took her anywhere. she just drove her around until she got so mad they had to come back. i was like Why The Fuck Didnt You Take Her To The Store!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Danny reveals both himself and vlad to his parents. They accept him but then avoid vlad. Maddie specifically.

Vlad gets angry and reports the fentons to the justice league about the portal. Secretly of course.

The JLD do come and investigate and discover the portal. They are in the Fenton basement just in time to see Danny walking out of the portal human. He had a run in with skulker in the zone and just had used to much ecto.

That on its own was bad.

But Danny came out holding the crown and ring of rage. Clockwork told him as the new king he had to keep them on him.

The JLD assume he is stealing them.
