The other day while working in the garden, I had an idea for a Hosie nun AU, loosely inspired by Warrior Nun (in that Josie’s a nun and Hope is…not)—but also by callipoicepole’s Hosie Killing Eve AU Then why's it feel so good?…and a little bit by the Griffith Hotel from Agent Carter. I’d want (to try)! to dig into how Josie confronts her vows and her morals in the face of her growing attraction to Hope.

So, the setup: Josie and Lizzie are nuns, having been raised by the Sisters since being given to them as young girls after the alcoholic demise of their widowed father. Josie is a nun’s nun, the perfect Sister, kindly, pious, knowledgeable, innocent, and above else, a rule-follower. Everyone thinks she’s in line to be the next Mother Superior. Lizzie is…less of these things, but she’s still a good Sister (and sister!).

Josie (or maybe both twins) come across Hope, who is in need of refuge from a storm (and other things…), so they take her back to the convent. Hope is in need of refuge because she’s a bandit, thief, or other sort of rogue, and her last score went south. (What better place to hide from a bunch of angry criminals—or the law—than a place where men are denied entry?)

Mother Caroline, the Abbess of St Salvatore’s, is left uneasy by the bright blue eyes of the refugee, but nonetheless provides her sanctuary.

While staying at St Salvatore’s and befriending the sweet Sister Josette, Hope plans her next move, thinking that perhaps the gold cross on the altar or some relics would buy her way back into favor with her bosses, but Lizzie discovers Hope’s casing of the chapel and becomes suspicious, throwing even more obstacles in the way of Josie’s developing feelings…

i actually answered this on my old blog but i’ll paste it here for you!!

okay so i honestly think hizzie had potential in season two? it was the point where they had bonded the most and started to get along more and started to mend broken bridges. however, i do feel like canon didn’t give a lot of room for hizzie and in my personal opinion i think hosie is definitely endgame for hope! i’m definitely a big fan of both. i think shipping hizzie would have to be in an au or a better rewrite. my lizzie is divergent in certain places as well. i fully acknowledge her treatment of hope but i also maintain that lizzie’s undiagnosed bipolar disorder and her inability to contain her emotions without bursting was a huge factor in her pre-series and seasons 1-2 attitude towards other characters but particularly hope. if i were to write hizzie, it would take a lot of time for them to meet a place where they can develop feelings for each other over time because a background like theirs cannot be pushed aside for the sake of a ship. i also think lizzie would need time to work on herself because she wouldn't be able to maintain a relationship when she's still not the best at communicating or meeting in the middle. she would have to be in a healthy mental position and with medication and learning more about herself, she definitely will get there. it would take a lot of time for them to reach that point but i do believe it's possible and it's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

To commemorate the fact that I finally defeated Garuda in the FFXIV/FFXV crossover event, here's a picture of Lana with Noctis that I took yesterday

Along with a picture of Lana in some new fit because I am weak to shiny objects so now I'm broke but it's okay it's worth it

(honestly, after the Garuda fight, I couldn't help but imagine how Hope and Josie would have reacted to meeting Noctis and helping him out on his quests.

I think Josie would have absolutely been down to help while Hope would have been like "why tf would I want to do that?" and then Josie would be like "Hope." It would be cute imagining their interaction with Noctis and I feel like Hope and Noctis would get along pretty quickly as they both have a lot on their plate or have this pressure of expectations pushed onto them.

Anyways, this is making me want to continue my Hosie/FFXV AU fic that I started and then stopped. Maybe I'll touch up on that fic, I know I have the next chapter started)
