Ok I love love LOVE the idea that Laudna realized her feelings for Imogen after the gayest conversation in existence™ because Imogen started using her circlet to block out thoughts literally the next morning. So (assuming Laudna didn’t realize this explicitly while they were talking) Imogen wouldn’t have had a reason to think that things had changed and meanwhile Laudna was rethinking EVERYTHING. That’s like romcom-level bad (or maybe good?) timing.

And then they got split up right around that time too so she couldn’t have seen Laudna’s behavior change even if she wasn’t relying on their mental connection. It makes complete sense that she asked to kiss her with the full expectation that she would be rejected.

(also I’m pretty sure I’ve read a fanfic that had Laudna experience this exact moment of realization so congrats to that person for getting a good grade in gay subtext interpretation)

I think my Kofi gets a little lost at times, so I went ahead and made a little gofundme to assist with my current predicament! The short of is: A very expensive panic attack! The longer of it is: I think covid went and made my anxiety way worse, kinda felt like I was dying, and unfortunately the only medical facilities open after 8 are the expensive ones (ER).
