Today I learned that hornets love the sap of lilac bushes! They gnaw holes into the bark so they can lick it. The bush isn’t damaged. And other insects enjoy the sap too 😁
@onenicebugperday no ID needed but I thought you’d like this 😁

I rarely talk here nowadays but I just want to scream about 7th Time Loop right now!
Episode 3 just released, and as author Touko Amekawa stated, the dance scene is the best scene! I couldn't help but agree, especially with veteran animator Munehisa Sakai working on it and using motion capture to express fluidly and smoothly the mental and physical sparring of both Rishe and Arnold using a dance that resembles a sword duel, while there's flashbacks being spread on the right moments to remind the audience how this totally resembles the actual duel in her previous life. It's wonderful. It's so EXQUISITE.

Uncharismatic Fact of the Day
Wasps, hornets, and yellow jackets-- oh my! All three are important pollinators and pest controllers, and all three have a nasty sting, so what’s the difference?
All hornets and yellow jackets are wasps, but not all wasps are hornets or yellow jackets. Hornets make up 22 species in the genus Vespa; they are generally larger than other wasps and the top of the head is wider. Hornets are also more aggressive than other wasp species. Yellow jackets make up two genuses, Vespula and Dolichovespula. Yellow jackets can be smaller than other wasp species, but an easier way to tell the difference is how they carry themselves when they fly: wasps dangle their legs, but yellow jackets tuck them under their bodies.

Been daydreaming about after XANA dies, years later, a grown up Jeremie takes inspiration from XANA's monsters and built them and used them as tools and assistants. Like imagine a Kankrelot Jeremie built to send out to scout for some supplies and scraps. Maybe Jeremie has a Hornet assistant that helps his computer programming/research. He named it Flineal (he's bad at names. Even Odd laughs at the terrible name he gave his Hornet robot).
