I like surprises! I don't get them often, but I think they're a blast. I usually complain if somebody springs something big on me I have to travel for, but I usually enjoy whatever it is-- I mostly just like the talk. But yeah! I like surprises

Make enough food for leftovers!! I'm grabbing you by the shoulders and shaking, you HAVE to make enough for leftovers. Make food for your friends. Surprise people with food. I am such a firm believer that food is a sign of love, for yourself, for others.... make food that you love! Love yourself!! Make enough to bring to work and to have when your sad! Get really into sandwiches! Just. love food? In every way you can. It's good for your brain, good for your heart, good for stomach.

I really don't like Lady D. She annoys the fuck out of me actually. She clogs up the resident evil tag, I don't like a lot of her fans energy... She's just fine, and she gets too much hype for being big, evil and hot. Listen. I'm a lesbian. I love women. She's hot. But I think she gets too much energy from the fanbase considering she's a essentially a miniboss, and frankly, a pretty flat one. Beyond her relationship with her daughters, there's not a lot to her. I don't care for RE8 anyway (I think it tries to do too much, and in having so many antagonists, doesn't give any of them time to properly shine. Having a beef between the siblings is a fun dynamic, Mother Miranda is aesthetically incredible... none of it changes the fact a lot of them would have benefited from being in different games)

I would so much rather that energy goes to any of the other resident evil woman. It's insane that when I try to find and saphic content for the fandom, an insane amount of it is self-insert ship art with Lady D! Not to hate on anyone who selfships, that's fun as hell, but with ANYONE ELSE, please.

Also. Might do a post about Mia later because I'm thinking about themes of motherhood again. Honestly, the only reason Lady D works in RE8 for me and why I don't completely hate her is because her theme of motherhood and taking work so well with Ethan's story, it's a shame she's not in RE8 for longer, and that the deaths of her Daughters weren't more impactful to her is a downright SHAME.

I won't say rewriting RE8 because I'm thinking about it now, but know I want to. I have two fics I would love to work on personally? This might be cheating, but... I don't think I care. I want to work on them. As much as I don't like RE8, I *do* have kind of a silly fic I've been slowly working on that very indulgently combines my two favorite things: Rewriting stories I don't like and turning people into monsters.

It's a bad-end fic where after the end of RE4, Leon, Ashley and Luis are re-infected with a strain of Plagas that just makes them buggy, so they go into hiding. Slash cut to RE8, they're hiding out in the same village Miranda's shit is happening, and being kinda pissy towards Chris for """killing"""" Mia, Ethan teams up with Ashley while Luis and Leon just fully have baby Rose with them. It's fully just an excuse to act out like. 3 silly scenes I have in my head, but one day I hope to put that out into the world.

wait i just wanted to say (forgot to put this in the last ask) i feel like that makes so much sense with how sooha's mother always told her "dont show your ability. no matter what." its not because she thinks her child will be mistaken for a vampire (which yeah, whatever, kids will be mean and call her a monster for her powers), but because she wants her daughter under the radar so the organization doesn't hear of an eighth superpowered child and come kidnap sooha. in the webnovel/comic, the low-grade vamps (hired by the organization), are looking for "a girl with special powers." the last child of the experiments.

NO YEAH I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT and i was gonna address it in the answer to the last ask until i remembered that you talked about it in this one (id read both beforehand) and figured id just talk about it here. sooha's mom doesn't want people knowing about her ability because if anyone knows about it, that could be a VERY FAST shortcut to the organization knowing about it, which is not good on ANY front. and wait also wasnt there a whole plotline where sooha's family moved towns a lot as a kid, supposedly because sooha got branded as a vampire in every town they were in? what if it was ACTUALLY because sooha's mother wanted to keep them moving so the organization couldn't put a pin on their location?

also shit i just had a thought about chris. so. you know. he was killed by a vampire, and everyone in the town thought sooha did it. but weve also established by now that the organization employs low-grade vampires to do their dirty work. so what if. the organization caught wind of sooha and chris's relationship somehow; they heard about this boy to whom sooha told everything, shared her powers, trusted with her life. and they killed him. they killed him as a warning—not to sooha, but to her mother, to say "we're close. we'll find you. you aren't safe." and after seeing that, sooha's mother knew what it meant, so she took she and her daughter and began running. never again would they settle in a single town for long.

(that would also explain how the low-grade vampires know to use a fake chris to lure sooha later on—they would know, because THEY killed him. the organization ordered them to.)

OKAY NOW ABOUT C!SUNOO. THANK YOU we had.... far too much fun with that probably HDJFBFJFN. funfact we actually had two seperate universes/tags going, one for all our own personal storyline ideas for the enhaverse/dark moon (so where c!sunoo was manipulated by the queen to betray the others because we didn't want to break up the ✨squad✨), and then one for what we thought ACTUAL CANON was more likely to be, where c!sunoo was just straight-up evil and self-serving for... some reason. and then the dark moon dropped and both of them ended up being wrong-- seriously, hybe, what the fuck happened to that? im lowkey so confused because here they were dropping all this sus shit about sunoo's character into the mvs (the blood in the fountain in drunk-dazed, the fucking sMIRK as he's walking down the hallway, all the concept photos for tamed-dashed era where he looked evil/scheming as fuck), and then as it turns out c!sunoo (shion) is just... a happy-go-lucky catboy? what?

Type: headcanons, fluff.

Pairing: RE x GN!Reader.

Albert:

-> Because he doesn't have that much free time, he learned to value the little breaks he gets. He makes the most of it, and it's one of those rare occasions he doesn't plan everything by second and simply goes with the flow. Well, not exactly like that, but he is not so uptight as usual. He even lets his partner decide on some occasions, even if he doesn't like the idea.

-> He enjoys your company. Your presence brings relief to him. You're the type of person he likes: smart, reserved, and genuine. He somehow takes advantage of the genuine nature of yours, because as nurturing as you are, you give him a lot of attention which he desperately needs (even if he doesn't want to admit it, he is an attention seeker). He doesn't feel validated enough at work, he can't rely on his STARS employee validation because after all he is their boss, and at Umbrella no one noticed him lately. Everyone wants something from him, and they are willing to say things to please him. The validation you give him is the fuel he needs to start all over again.

-> He would take you to a library so you can enjoy a lecture in silence with a variety of books at your reach, or you can both enjoy the comfort of his home and do the same. He also likes to cook. He traveled all around the world and he knows many recipes. Cooking with him is very fun and he has a lot of patience in both explaining you and with the process. Even if it doesn't seem like at the first sight, he has pretty basic hobbies that he likes to do with his partner. He doesn't have a lot of people around him, because he is very judgemental and he considers a few people worthy of his presence. This makes him antipathetic, and sometimes it's hard to deal with him even if you are within those few close people.

-> He likes to watch movies and has a passion for the horror genre. If he is not in the mood, he'll watch a cheesy comedy with you, because surprisingly enough they put a smile on his face. He is a fan of those gore, bloody ones (he has seen a lot, he has a stomach for such things). You'll end up tossing the food away and watch him as he keeps a straight face and murmurs "these are some good effects. arent you going to finish the food?" to which you will simply reply "I'm good".

Krauser:

-> One doesn't get so big and skilled without training, so he would probably spend his free day training hard. His workout routine is very intense, and even if he will adjust it to your abilities, it will be hard still. Besides, he will teach you some combat techniques which will come in handy. He likes to be prepared in case of an emergency.

-> Thanks to his partner, he found out new ways to spend his free time. They saw him struggling to get out of this neverending combat lifestyle, and that it was hard for him to perform daily activities. He rarely went home, even in his free time. This situation was hard to manage for both of them and it started to affect the relationship. His partner made the first step into changing something, and so, they began to introduce daily activities and hobbies in his life.

-> The rush of adrenaline, anxiety, fear were still present even in those calm moments when they were just shopping. He looked frantically left and right for anything dangerous, and the fact that nothing made him worry more. He had a hard time readjusting to a normal lifestyle, but his partner was with him at every step. they try painting, writing, gaming, and many other. Turns out Krauser is a pretty good artist, and it helps him to relieve some of the stress caused by his missions. He expresses himself through his art, and he paints some landscapes he saw during his missions, even terrible things that happened there. He discovered, with the help of his partner, that there is also beauty in this world, not just death and pain. He still has a long way to go, but at least now he has a new purpose.

Chris:

-> Sleeps. This man's job is so exhausting that it squeezes the life out of him. Coffee doesn't have an effect anymore. So while he sleeps, you will probably start cleaning his house because let's face it, he doesn't have time. The place is not a mess, but thick dust waits to be swiped away, the windows beg to be clean, the floor needs some mopping. Also, the fridge is empty with nothing else but a few bottles of beer and take away food that's probably gonna move if not thrown away.

-> To compensate, after he is well-rested, he will probably take his partner to a nice restaurant and spend a romantic evening together that will end up in a long walk in the park. He has always been a hopeless romantic. When he is with you he is not BSAA golden boy, he's just a civilian who tries to enjoy his evening. It doesn't really matter what you two do, as long as he is not alone. If his sister, Jill, Piers, or Winters family are available, he'll organize a game night where y'all will play poker, monopoly, or any game you want, he doesn't care. Little Rose is excited when she gets some cards and gets to play alongside her dad.

-> Spending time with his close ones, especially you gives Chris a lot of hope. You're the reason he is fighting for and puts himself through the hellish missions. He knows that when he gets home he can find comfort in your embrace and even if not all nightmares go away, he feels he can cope easier if he has you by his side. He definitely wants to start a family, but he has trouble finding a good time.

Piers:

-> This man has a lot of energy. He works and trains hard and it seems he never runs out of it. Even on his days off, he'll still fill reports or answer the rookies' desperate calls.

-> He is a man full of life, and when it comes to spending time together, he will take you to carnivals, concerts, or on spontaneous road trips. It doesn't matter the destination, as long as he has gas money and phone battery, nothing will stop you. As for the festivals, I picture him trying to win plushy toys or other prizes that you find attractive. Concerts? You'll see the whole performance from his shoulders and he has nothing against staying like that. He is well built after all.

-> Even a man like him reaches his limit. He will trade the noise of the festivals for the peace of his home where he will be slacking off on the couch. His head will rest on your lap, with his attention directed to the movie, as your hand will gently caress his hair. His vision will get blurry and the movie will lose any logic as he will fall asleep. The message on his scalp always does the trick. Besides, feeling his thick hair going through your fingers is a delight.

Happy Fab Friday!

I've done so much writing this week because of the August Challenge! I've written 5 stories in 5 days, a total of 7.5k words, and it has been intense. I've written a high school au, a wedding story, a ghost hunters au, a pirates au, and a coffee shop au for both The Outer Worlds and Resident Evil.

The high school au has Rhea showing up to her first day of high school and she has a run in with a skater boy (Felix), who we later learn gets into lots of trouble with Principal Rockwell. Rhea wants to help out but remembers she has her own issues to worry about.

The wedding story has Jill and Carlos attending Chris's wedding and sharing a sweet moment together as they dance. Jill is concerned for Chris because they are very close and she doesn't approve of who he is marrying, but Carlos reminds her to simply be happy and she is able to enjoy her time with him. Then Claire comes over and they have to go deal with a tipsy Leon who calls Jill and Chris mom and dad because they are the "parent's" of the friend group. He then asks Jill when she will get married, which gets a little awkward but I'm able to give Carlos a few moments where he does want to marry Jill but for now they are happy with how things are.

The ghost hunter au focuses on Rhea and the crew investigating an abandon theater for possible ghost sightings. They get everything set up to capture any sightings but end up getting locked into the theater and are greeted by a ghost!

The pirates au focuses on Felix being accepted into the infamous Captain Hawthorne's crew. We get some insight into Felix's thoughts regarding his captor turned captain and what he is looking for in this world.

The coffee shop au is pretty self explanatory with Jill as the Barista and Carlos as the regular. She works with Claire and Leon who love to tease her about the regular customer and how she should ask him out. Jill denies her feelings of course and brushes off Carlos's attempts to flirt with her. Its a cute scene with flirty banter between them and their friends being of no help to Jill.

I have so many more to write and sadly got hit with some pretty bad burnout the other day due to work and personal stuff. I'm not sure if I'll have to stop at some point but I still plan to keep trying to write a story every day. It's been a lot of fun coming up with all these different ideas and scenarios for the characters.

I won't add more because this has already gotten so long >.< I hope you had a good week!

Julie Plec Tells Us How Hope's Finale Twist Will Affect Legacies in Season 2

[Warning: The following contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Legacies. Read at your own risk!]

Legacies did the unthinkable in its Season 1 finale, and now we're not sure whether Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) is dead or alive or hovering somewhere in between!

The finale saw the Salvatore School under attack from Triad Industries, and the confrontation eventually left Josie (Kaylee Bryant) in mortal peril. After she jumped in front of a bullet made from Malivore mud intended for Lizzie (Jenny Boyd), the poison slowly started to eat away at her. Only Hope's blood managed to save her, but we're wondering whether or not that will end up being a great thing considering she found a magical device in Alaric's office that could eventually release a pretty huge baddie — more on that later.

As for Hope, after facing off against this week's monster (a headless horseman, of all things), Ryan Clarke (Nick Fink) got the best of Hope and Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and threw the final artifact into the Malivore pit, raising his father from banishment. Knowing she couldn't allow the monster-eating golem to return to Earth and use Landon's body as a meat suit, Hope killed Landon (temporarily, obvi) and threw herself into the pit along with Landon's brother. As the tribrid of the three species that created it, Hope realized she was the only thing that could destroy it, finally giving her loophole existence a purpose. Girl, you are too noble for your own good.

So, is that the end for Hope, especially now that no one even remembers her? And what does her "death" mean for everyone else but especially Rafael (Peyton Smith), who might now have to remain a wolf forever? TV Guide spoke to showrunner Julie Plec about this huge finale and where we go from here when Season 2 picks back up.

So Hope is officially erased, but are all traces of her really gone? Or can we hope to stumble across some clue to remembering her and getting her back in Season 2?

Julie Plec: There is hope, and there is an actual pitch for that, so your brain is in the right place, creatively.

Is Malivore dead now or did she just prevent him from rising?

Plec: That is the question, I think, that we're left with at the end of the season, which is — technically if she had destroyed him, would she be destroyed in the process? Maybe not. So the fact that no one remembers her might mean that there's still a blackness out there that is keeping her captive. And since we've already seen a glimpse of how s---ty that is, I hope that's not the case.

Can we expect to see a Hope-shaped hole in the lives of everyone left in Season 2?

Plec: That's exactly what we can expect to see. What's fun about it, and sad about it, is we'll be able to realize just how much impact Hope had in these people's lives without them even realizing what they're missing. And just understanding that they all feel individually like there's something that doesn't feel right and that they're struggling with this feeling of not being complete somehow. It just feels like such a universal experience, especially for teenagers. I'm looking forward to having each of those characters act out on that feeling.

If feels like Raf is the one most affected by her loss, since he's kind of stuck as a perma-wolf?

Plec: Yeah, Raf is screwed. Raf is a perma-wolf. Look, when Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) on The Originals was turned into a wolf all that time, that really did a number on her, and Raf is a new werewolf, who is still a teenager. So to be stuck in your most primal and feral state for God knows how long, if he's ever even able to get out of there, that will be catastrophic.

Landon did learn that he was intended to be a "meat suit" for Malivore to let him procreate, but does he even remember that? And if not, is that still a looming threat in Season 2?

Plec: I think that's a good question. What, if anything, of his experience and all the information that he learned about Malivore will he remember? Even more so, what does it all mean now that Malivore doesn't appear to be functional anymore? So Landon is going to have a lot of questions moving forward, and a Hope-sized hole in his heart, as you've said.

I love the chemistry between Hope and Landon! Every time they're on-screen together, you just can't help but go, "Awww!"

Plec: Thank you! It's so pure; I think that's why I love it so much. It just feels really innocent and honest and pure in a way that you don't get a lot in relationships in movies and television. So I think that's why I really like it.

Will Triad Industries play a role moving forward, considering most of their staff was just killed or consumed by Malivore?

Plec: We may have seen the last of Triad for now in that I think M.G. (Quincy Fouse) made it very clear with his mother what role he expects her to not play in his life moving forward. I certainly don't think the organization is going anywhere, so they will be out there lingering in the shadows and maybe our heroes will cross paths with them another time.

The twins seem to have found the Ascendant, which The Vampire Diaries fans will recognize as the key to a prison world. How worried should we be about a visit from evil Uncle Kai (Chris Wood) if they start messing with that?

Plec: I think when a key that would open the lock that is keeping evil Uncle Kai imprisoned shows up on your screen you should always be afraid ... and also super, super psyched — which, by the way, is not me saying that Chris Wood has agreed to come back because I have not gotten any answers out of him yet, but I would love nothing more.

Will we be seeing more of Penelope in Season 2?

Plec: Penelope was a very successful character for us, and we always love the villain that ultimately finds a way to redeem her wicked, selfish, evil ways over the course of the season and leave us all crying and wanting more. Certainly my hope is that she remains in our universe and she, in spite of being in Belgium with her family, may make an appearance again. I can't make any promises, but I certainly would love to see her.

Can we also hope for the return of Clarke? Because I was really digging the revival of the whole supernatural brothers thing!

Plec: There's going to be a hole in the marketplace right now for supernatural brothers. We have not necessarily seen the last of Clarke. Certainly wherever Hope is, it seems to be that he is there as well. It depends on where that is and what that looks like and if we want to tell that story.

So if we want Hope back, we might have to get Clarke?

Plec: Exactly. Two for the price of one.

Are you looking to introduce a new big bad for Season 2 or are you hoping to stay invested in this Malivore storyline?

Plec: We are going to take a page out of Harry Potter and hope that Malivore can be an ongoing threat, much like Voldemort was able to be over the course of all the books. That is the goal and we will see how long we are able to do that.

And are you planning to keep the monster-of-the-week format or lean into more serialized storytelling.

Plec: I think our emotional and character stories will always be deeply serialized like The Vampire Diaries, but the structure of the monster of the week or a monster that can span a couple weeks has been a lot of fun for us, and we've really enjoyed it. So we'll definitely be continuing down that road.

Are there any plans to return to monsters we've seen and spared before like that gorgon who was getting flirty with M.G.?

Plec: There's absolutely opportunity for any of the monsters that we've seen before to come back again. I know my personal favorite is the necromancer. We've got some competition... people who loved the dryad, the gorgon — if we can figure out a way to make snakes cost less in visual effects, [it] has a better shot at coming back when technology can catch up to what we want to achieve. That was a "learn the hard way" kind of character.

Alaric's (Matthew Davis) position at the school has been left up in the air, so what can you say about the impact of potentially removing him as headmaster if that's how the council votes?

Plec: I think that for a man whose last decade-plus of his life has been committed wholly to his daughters and this school, if he wakes up one morning and is no longer the headmaster, that's going to be a big dramatic shift for him and I'd wonder how he would make it through that.
