I love Scott Lang so much. He’s the best dad on earth and oh my god I need to rant

Some spoilers ahead so pls don’t read if you haven’t seen it!

His devotion to Cassie is what makes me smile and it’s the same with Janet just wanting to be with hope

ALSO JANET?! JANET VAN DYNE IS BADASS BUT ALSO VERY VERY TIRED

I mean spending all that time in the quantum realm and then having to face what she did when all she wanted was a normal life with her family

She fought tooth and nail to get out of the quantum realm obviously having to adapt to a new life, helping someone she didn’t even know because she knew how it felt to be alone there

Only to find out he was a conqueror and someone who could destroy worlds and timelines so she had to sacrifice her desire so not only her family (but the world) would be safe

She is such a strong woman and honestly I love her so much

Okay cassie is an icon and extremely awesome

Helping homeless people by protesting! We love that

Also scott being like disappointed dad at first but then showing off when they get put in the cells in Kangs citadel cause he’s been in jail four times

Being so scared of things but just like scott Cassie works things out and helps save the day along with becoming stronger herself

She loves her dad and scott loves her so much I just love their relationship so much

I hope I'm not spamming your inbox with all these questions. But I do have a few things I'm curious on.

Besides Gwenpool, Mockingbird, and the Wasps, which Marvel characters do you hope to get a shot at writing someday?

Do the Ant/Wasp legacy family count as Marvel's version of Kamen Riders? (It's a Japanese children's action show featuring heroes who were originally themed after grasshoppers and other insects. One installment called Kamen Rider Stronger even had an Ant-Man and Wasp style dynamic going with a boy hero themed after a herakles beetle and a girl hero themed after a ladybug.)

Who would you say was Janet Van Dyne's greatest love?

So, I briefly got a chance to write Misty Knight and Iron Fist in my first Marvel gig and I would love to write either or both of them again. I'm also a huge fan of the Young Avengers, Runaways, X-Men (especially Storm, Gambit, Rogue, and associated characters), Champions (especially Viv and Kamala), and a lot more. I also adore Cap and the FF, but the idea of writing those guys kinda intimidates me. They have a lot of very iconic stories. I'd also really love to write more Gwenpool, Mockingbird, and Wasps. Don't get me wrong.

Hmmm...ant fam as Kamen rider is interesting. It doesn't quite fit in my head, but I can't think of anybody that's really better.

I won’t ever get over how dirty the MCU did Janet, aka one of the five founding Avengers, the first female member on the team, and THE PERSON THAT GAVE THEM THEIR DAMN NAME!

I’m not even that mad about the MCU making her way older than she actually is! What I don’t like is that they pulled another “women are interchangeable” on Janet and sidelined her for several movies in favor of an OC that has taken so much from her! Hope has been given Janet’s hero name, suit, iconic pixie cut, and the writers ALMOST included Nadia in Quantumania and were going to make her Hope’s daughter, but thankfully they changed their minds! I still get chills just thinking about it…

The MCU went and casted THE Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne several years ago and they barely gave her anything to do until recently. I truly cannot stand them 😭
