Hey when you move out on your own the most important food tip I can give you is “maybe you don’t hate x maybe your guardians just cooked it wrong”
The number of foods I have learned I really like if they’re Fucking Seasoned
The number of foods I’ve introduced friends to that they warned me they’d always hated til I let them try a piece of mine
Also marinade things for 24 hours the second you have your own fridge it is a GAME CHANGER you thought you knew food but you have never met her

actually. while I’m thinking about it. mutuals what are your signature flavours.
like... I’m talking the flavour that makes you go ‘oh I am so eating that’. the flavour that makes you tempted to try that weird candy or drink that will definitely not be high quality. full foods or drinks are fine too, so long as it matches your Vibe. note that your flavour is not the same thing as your favourite food! it’s gotta be more general / widely applicable than that
for example: my flavours are cinnamon and green apple :D also cranberry and pomegranate but like. less so

also i ate chanterelles for the first time last night... they are so goddamn good BUT i burned them bcs i was watching dante go out back and they turned on me in an instant. however the less charred pieces were so insanely good. i've vowed to never waste another :'-(
we ended up having lion's mane instead of the chants with dinner and they are truly one of my top mush... i think that it is.... 1. chanterelle, 2. shiitake, 3. lion's mane, 4. oyster, 5. cotw (mostly for texture reasons!)
