just finished reading bob and george and yeah it was worth the week or so it took to go through all of it

#it's aged like shit in places but given how much it singlehandedly influenced the sprite comic genre it's got like historical significance #overall it's pretty good when it isn't horrifically dated or casually using slurs #it's like homestuck. definitely flawed and bad but historically significant and worth reading if you're into internet culture #honestly homestuck is a LOT like bob and george with the ceaseless time travel clone loop whatever the fuck bullshit #and also the occasional r-slur or extremely outdated view on queer themes to violently remind you that it was made in the 2000s #just so we're clear bob and george is better than homestuck. the writing is probably objectively worse somehow but it's more fun to read #and also doesn't take five fucking months of total bullshit that you stopped understanding 3000 pages ago but don't want to reread
