she hulk is generally a fun legal comedy BUT the way they handled daredevil is so marvel typical. the thing is, matt IS capable of being funny. he fucks around with foggy and karen sometimes. but his brand of humour isn’t being snarky and making wink-wink-nod-nod jokes, which seems to be the only type of verbal humour allowed to fly in she hulk. when he correctly sensed that the frog guy was using jet fuel and won the case, he wouldn’t say to his client “don’t ask me how i knew that” because he’s not! that type of person! he’s the type of person who just. wouldn’t say anything more in that moment! like i understand this is the she hulk show and ofc they have to keep up the comedy instead of just inserting a constantly brooding daredevil but i feel like the comedy should still be, idk, in character

#uhhhh me #also i thought the finale was kinda wack but maybe it's just bc i'm not a she hulk comic stan #anyway that's just one example of matt feeling out of character #the other thing that made me go ??? was the use of CGI matt in one shot #like i'm sure they used CGI doubles in the daredevil show too but for some reason it looked super fake in this #'for some reason' as if i don't know what the reason is llmao #the other thing i want to say about the humour in this show is that sometimes it just feels incapable of taking things seriously #which is already a common marvel complaint i know #but specifically when nikki and the other lawyer found out about the faux 4chan website and the threats the users were making toward jen #they were like holy shit this is horrible. but we can't tell jen because it would be terrible for her mind #and then the immediately next shot is a jokey funney scene of nikki calling jen and telling her about it #like imagine if this scene wasn't played for a laugh like 'HAHA look at nikki incapable keeping a secret' #and was more serious in like 'nikki genuinely worries for jen's safety and thinks it would be better to let her know'

anyways i am giving aryll mineru's secret stone (once her spirit fades away) and making the Exploded GanonDaddy Stone eventually coalesce back into some solid form and link eventually obtains that one Team's Back Together it's fucking poetic justice bc you once again have a sage of light (link- like come On his weapon is the sword that seals the DARKNESS and he literally was a rauru parallel the whole game), a sage of time (zelda, link's partner, just as sonia was to rauru) and a sage of spirit (aryll) who is the sage of light's fucking sister
