I was thinking about it and can I just say how hysterical it was that as soon as Harry finally recognized that there’s a whole world out there to perform in, the fans went soooooo hard with “LEAVE AMERICA.” And like, he deserved that. Doing one trillion shows in America and then stopping by other countries for one show. I say this with love and also as an American but Harry, get out. Go do a residency somewhere cooler.

My favorite part of all of that was that idiot, Olivia, joining in to scream that line, when honestly a huge part of the fandom was linking it to her, as well.

But, yeah. The residencies, IMO, were mostly about money and about being able to say he broke records (sold out 15 consecutive nights at MSG etc). Obviously, it also made life easier for him not having to move around, but I do think there was a bigger reason than just “Jeff loves America”.

I need new music and a new tour… I’m in withdrawal.
