And i feel like there is a stark contrast between voting for the fav artist/writer ect. in the fandom, versus just messages of appreciation written by single individuals in the fandom?

I think it is not much different from for example the appreciation day going around a few days ago or when people ask for blog recommendation. I think there even is a dtblr event gearing up for something pretty similar (anon appreciation messages for dtblr people). And I think it is pretty wholesome, even if you can't make sure everyone will get the same amount of anons or even an anon at all.

And I just think spreading some positivity is niceeee!!!

This is true! It's definitely not as bad as it could be. You can never get to everyone, but I still think it could be nice. Just. Hnnnnnggggggggggg

unforeseen consequence of being on adhd meds:

the days are good bc I can focus and do stuff and I feel good but the nights are worse bc I'm back to being all antsy and unable to discern what my brain wants from me
