so my initial sketch for that Nagito waking up image had the background basically reversed so it was showing the back of the room, not the front. I flipped it bc his legs were supposed to be under the blanket and it would be weird for him to be at the foot of the bed but still partially under the blanket, and in flipping it I decided 'hey why not add Hajime since he's there'

I'm a little fascinated by how the simple change of perspective + showing what Nagito was looking at (even tho he was looking at him in both images, Hajime was just offscreen in the initial sketch) IMMEDIATELY took the image from relatively innocent to very suggestive

gonna be real, i don’t actually care too much about hatchetfield past tgwdlm, some of black friday, and like half of nt1. idk i just find it less enjoyable than their previous stuff so i’m glad they’re doing something new!

also i kinda miss their parody era (although i’m aware they’re done with parodies now iirc) and i think that some of their best and funniest shows were their parodies! ani my beloved <3 and hmb <3 and tto <3 and the avp series <3 and twisted <3 and just all of those ones are so good and they are the ones that i rewatch most out of all of starkid’s work bc they’re so fun and silly and i ADORE them

Trying to watch Wayward Guide again (bad timing stuff anytime I've tried to watch it) and Nick Lang is just a delight. Every time. He is so funny in Ani that it's unreal. He is spectacular as Robin in HMB. I know he does incredible creative work behind the scenes, but I love seeing him act

I hate feeling like I have no energy to exercise so I asked my friends about pre-workout supplements/drinks. I don't know much about those. These were their recommendations:

Black coffee. Only supplement with good data is creatine (clean with no other additives) and hmb (for muscle recovery, and avoidance of muscle mass).

https://www.rivalnutrition.com/powder-burn/ A clean pre-workout, safe for Olympic athletes aka no banned substances or proprietary blends.

Gorilla mode is my go to pre. Tastes good. Mixes well. Works.

Ghost also makes a pretty good pre. Tastes good, mixes well, works but you pay a bit more as it also has some proprietary blend and name brand mixes (ie warheads/sour)

C4 Tastes good, works but mixes just okay. Was always getting a bit of chunks and occasionally chalky flavoring.

Hyde works, doesn't taste great, but mixes well.

Total war tastes bad (every flavor is gunk), doesn't mix well, and doesn't work.

Optimum nutrition is fine. Solid, not too expensive, drinkable, mixes but only kind of works.

Jack3D the original blend that they stopped selling will always be GOAT.

Basically you want caffeine (140-200mg) to jump start you, citralline to get blood flowing, and anything else is icing on the cake.

Personally get my aminos/bcaa and creatine from other powders but some people swear by having those in their pre too.

I don't know much about all that stuff, but when I see people going hard in the gym, it makes me want to go hard!

Here it is, the Starkid/TCB/Shipwrecked/Pulp Musicals guide. Sorry this took a bit, it was mostly done when I posted asking if I should post this but I needed to go through and make some edits and I was lazy and kinda busy so... But here it is now! A little (long actually but it could be more) guide on Starkid, Tin Can Brothers, Shipwrecked Comedy and Pulp Musicals. It's not the best guide in the world, it could be better, but I originally made this for my friend who wanted to get into Starkid and then decided to put it on here too bc maybe it'll help someone else out there wanting to get into Starkid and everything adjecent to it. There's more starkid related stuff than just what's on here but this is all like the main things.

Just so you know for Starkid: AVPM, MAMD, AVPS, Starship, HMB, and AVPSY we're all uploaded in parts (don't know what those acryonyms stand for? Don't worry you'll find out), bc it was easier to upload, so you'll have to find all those in playlist, then Twisted had two versions uploaded, one in parts and one full to see what was better, and TTO due to having different endings is cut off before the ending and then has uploads for each ending, then all the other Starkid musicals are uploaded in full. Also SAF, SISR, and all webseries we're also released in parts so those will be in playlists as well.

Also I've split it into different categories (below are the links to each post) and everything in each category is in order of upload. Everything can be found on youtube, although there are other things that aren't on youtube that if you're curious about feel free to dm or ask me about because I will absolutely answer all that I can.

Never thought I’d say this but Jafar is a poor little meow meow who needs to be wrecked & I personally would love to see a tickle fight between hmb Batman & Superman.
