i enjoyed it! i feel like i was ready for a break from romance books so this was something perfect to pick up.

so yes i agree the world building was a bit lacking but i heard this is a five book series so i have some hope? tbh i like that it’s not overly complicated bc i find with some fantasy books its too much and i can’t remember everything i need to. i like the characters in the book and i’m interested to see where it goes and i think it’s going to be easy and entertaining to read and i won’t get bogged down which is exactly what i want
