AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.
When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.
He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.
Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.
(The worst part is that it’s actually good.)

the saddest yet funniest bit in asoiaf is easily when theon returns to the iron islands and spends about an hour dressing up in his nicest furs and silks and wools and jewellery and goes to see the father he hasn’t seen in a decade. and balon is immediately like what sort of metrosexual nonsense have you picked up on the mainland? oh you’re wearing a necklace you bought? paid for? didn’t steal it from the corpse of a man you killed? are you fucking gay or something and theons like
okay sorry :( anyway dad do you want to read this letter from robb stark?

i think that raising marceline is not something simon gives himself much credit for due to the terrible circumstances surrounding all of it. he feels guilty for using the crown and for hurting marceline's feelings with his transformation in the long run, so he looks back on his past with her always with the feeling of wishing he could've handled it differently, better (although how, exactly, he's not able to say, as we see when he's left without an answer when fionna questions him about the need of using the crown to keep marcy alive).
this episode with evil marcy, however, made it clear to him that he was way more important to her than he gives himself credit for. he found her when she was a vulnerable child and tried to protect he not only physically, but mentally as well; he made sure to sing and joke and play with her, to keep her as shielded as possible from the horrors of the wasteland surrounding them. he tried his best to give her a real childhood, in short. but left to the indoctrination of a terrible person like the vampire king, that same little girl wasn't allowed this, and was instead molded into someone completely different and much more miserable, still in the shadow of her terrible 'father'

THE KING OF THE NORTHERN DESERT... AND THE LITTLE CROWN PRINCE OF THE NORTHERN DESERT!
i like to think that demon children are naturally very self sufficient and feral and after birth their parents just sort of. throw them to the wilds to raise themselves. but shang qinghua isn't going to let MBJ pass up on being a boydad god damn it

love love love love those moments where house's all seeing baby blues get misty. love when he gets super pathetic about his and wilson's friendship and how sometimes he pushes just a little too much so wilson draws a line like he can end what they have Right There as he stands without batting an eye as if that isn't one of the most devastating things you can tell house. sometimes that man just looks the most beautiful at his most vulnerable

I'm bad at math, but is Bruce theoretically 38 years old when he goes into the time stream?
Hear me out (and canon likes to fluncate their ages, so this is my best guess without trying to account for birthdays):
Bruce becomes the legal guardian of 9 year old Dick when he's 23. That's a 14 year difference.
Jason becomes Robin when Dick leaves at 18. Jason is 13. That's a five year difference.
Jason dies at 15, and Tim becomes Robin at 13. That's a two year difference.
The age difference between Tim and Bruce would thus be 21 years.
Tim becomes Red Robin to find Bruce at 17.
That means that Bruce had to be 38, right? Why was I imagining him closer to 50?
Adopting so many kids must have aged him

Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leo’s the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says he’s gotta go do something for Hueso and “just can’t hang out right now 😔” (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)
Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Hueso’s to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leo’s help (emphasis on probably.)
Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesn’t care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)
The journey goes about as terribly as you’d expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.

I loved it when Ty tried to out fruit his father while flirting with his dad's boyfriend. I guess it runs in the Tennant genes.
