you've probably gotten this question a lot, but what inspired your artstyle and the the styles you like today? you have such a distinctive style, it's always wonderful to see your art 🙏
ohhh yes, i have a list of my favorite artists off the top of my head that i periodically look to for inspiration :) i’ll list them out + their website if available under the cut 👇👇
1. Baron Ueda 🐼 website 🐼 twitter
2. Junko Mizuno 💔 website 💔 twitter
3. Matsuo Hiromi 🌷 website 🌷 twitter
4. Atsushi Nakayama 💀 twitter
5. Hajime Ueda 💎 (can’t find a website or twitter, but a notable work of his is the FLCL manga)
6. take 🎀 twitter
7. Tsutomu Sekimoto 👻 (absolutely have no clue where this artist went... or rather where the entire development team of okage disappeared to. its one thing to have your favorite game fade into obscurity, but another thing to have the entire development team not move on to any other game project and also fades into obscurity along with their one major work. SIGH)
(*updated to the day i post this. anyone announced afterwards will not be included on this list.)
This is basically a repost of my last JP voice list. The ones in bold were announced afterwards either through their twitter or the JP site. I’ve also added the kanji for the VA names to be consistent with my KR list.

Off-White™ proudly debuts its Fall/Winter 2022 advertising campaign, marking the first to be directed by Ibrahim Kamara, Off-White™ Art & Image Director. Photographed by Rafael Pavarotti, the campaign images tether Off-White™’s heritage to its evolving brand vision just as the collections express a dialogue between past and future to articulate and progress the present.
The campaign is shot in the Moroccan city of Chefchaouen in a nod to the brand’s signature color electric blue. The new collections are depicted against the backdrop of this historical blue city populated with modern youth energy, normalizing the color into everyday life and creating a unifying concept for the Fall/Winter 2022 campaign.
It has come to my attention that I often mention Kaiba Corporation’s chief executives in my threads, given that these are the people that work directly with Kaiba and with whom he interacts on a daily basis, besides Mokuba and Isono. Therefore, it’s almost impossible to separate him from them and as such, I think it’s about time I give each of them a name. I might mention some of them in future threads but in general, this is mostly for my own reference and expansion of my muse’s world, and for anyone who writes with me and is curious about the executives I mention in our interactions.
After the forceful exit of the executives known as “The Big Five” at the end of Duelist Kingdom, Kaiba Corporation’s C-suite underwent restructuring. It was a process that was personally overseen by Kaiba, and involved the firing of not only the aforementioned men but of other executives that had been selected by Gozaburo and whose trustworthiness had become questionable. A sort of ‘cleaning’, so to speak. New positions were created, others were permanently cut.
Those on this list were selected and hired directly by Kaiba. There are other senior executives and heads of department, but these are the people who work closest to Seto, and are the ones in attendance at any meeting with the CEO pertaining to the company’s internal affairs:
Takeda Hiromi (武田 寛美): Chief Operating Officer. She’s second in command to Kaiba (along with Mokuba who, in practical terms, can be seen as second in command as well), and oversees the day-to-day operations on behalf of the CEO. She’s in charge of creating the strategies and policies that pertain to the company’s function, being a key player in the process of executing and materializing the CEO’s vision through the implementation of strategic and operational plans. As such, she’s in direct and constant communication with Kaiba, pretty much working side by side with him as her role is entirely dependent on the CEO. Her appointment as COO gathered widespread attention in a country where the number of women in top executive positions is scarce, and also given the fact that she’s relatively young, in her mid thirties. That said, despite her age she accumulates experience of over ten years in areas of operations, project management and process improvement, and is extremely smart and business savvy. Personality-wise, she is congenial and approachable. Her leadership style is more team-oriented, and employees often jest that she’s Kaiba’s more agreeable doppelgänger. However, if crossed, she can exert her authority just as efficiently as Kaiba himself.
Ueda Asahi (植田 朝日): Chief Financial Officer. He manages the company’s financial operations. As such, he is responsible for supervising all the finance personnel, formulating investment strategies, performing risk management, tracking cash flow and many others.
Ishida Taro (石田 太郎): Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for the management of the company’s research and development and leads the technology and engineering department, which is a department that Kaiba’s heavily involved in as he often participates in the creation and design of new tech products and equipment, thus also keeping a rather strict supervision of said department’s performance.
Hara Miyoko (原 美代子): Chief Marketing Officer. She’s responsible for leading the marketing team, brand management, product management and executing the company’s marketing campaigns and advertising initiatives, as well as overseeing the company’s public relations in all forms of communications (social media, press conferences, web pages, etc). Given the fact that Kaiba is a recurring presence in the company’s product advertisement and also its most recognizable face, she often works side by side with him in marketing campaigns and is at his side at press conferences.
Ichikawa Kentaro (市川 建太郎): Chief Legal Officer. Kaiba Corporation’s legal team is widely known to be world-class. At the head of said team is the CLO, a vastly experienced corporate lawyer with almost thirty years of practice who is responsible for the company’s legal affairs. As such, and to name a few, he is the leader of the company’s corporate legal strategy, manages the team of in-house attorneys, participates in the formulation of general management policies, and represents the company at legal proceedings and negotiations (trials, mediations, arbitrations, etc.). He is stern and authoritarian at his job, but more affable outside of it.
Shiga Yoshihiro (志賀 吉弘): Chief Human Resources Officer. In simple terms, he leads Kaiba Corporation’s Human Resources department, overseeing all aspects pertaining to its management and designing career paths. He’s involved in the recruitment, talent and performance management, and training programs for the company’s employees, among others. He has experience in human resources management and organizational psychology. A natural leader with strong communication and people skills, and an empathetic personality.
Fukuda Daichi (福田 大地): Chief Information Officer. He’s responsible for managing the company’s computer systems. Whereas the Chief Technology Officer focuses on the development of tech products for external purposes (aka positioning them in the market), the CIO focuses on the IT systems used by the company for its own operations. As such, he works hand in hand with the Chief Information Security Officer. He has vast knowledge of IT systems and computer science.
Okamoto Kenji (岡本 健治): Chief Information Security Officer. This is a position created by Seto, and did not exist during Gozaburo’s time as CEO. The need for having a chief of information security comes from the rapid expansion of the company into areas related to technology and innovation, that required the implementation of a strong and secure digital infrastructure and data encryption system, to withstand any possible cyberthreat or data theft. Therefore, as chief of security, Okamoto is in charge of ensuring data and systems security, formulating safety protocols and responding immediately to any security incidents. He is a computer and software engineer with vast experience in cybersecurity, IT, and information and privacy protection.
And also worthy of mention:
Nomura Hisae (野村 久恵): Kaiba’s secretary. She’s responsible for scheduling appointments and managing Kaiba’s agenda. She filters calls and requests that would otherwise take unnecessary and valuable time from the CEO. In other words, no one can gain access or schedule a meeting with the CEO without first going through her. Given the fact that she’s the first person others see before meeting with the CEO, and therefore she plays an important role in first impressions, she maintains a pristine personal presentation, always dresses impeccably and has outstanding people skills.
