The Ties that Bind - Isolde

And finally we have my character, Isolde. She was my very first foray into DnD so her concept is pretty typical, but I’m obsessed with her, so I don’t care. She’s a drow rogue with an enormous chip on her shoulder. And in case you couldn’t tell from her face, she’s got a bit of an attitude problem. The world assumed she was a thief because of her skin, so she said “fine, I’ll be a thief! I’ll be the best damn thief the world has ever seen!” And here we are. Safe to say she’s definitely the one that causes the most trouble in our campaign, at least when it comes to inter-party relationships.

Since she’s my character, you’ll probably be seeing her a lot, so I won’t give away too much of her backstory just yet. Especially since most of it is unknown in the game so far.

I love her. She’s such a jerk and I love her.

Yes, it's true. This is why hi was almost exclusively used by men. Women were expected to use zu in almost every interaction, so they used this same treatment even between women most of the times.

Dawn Bringer Crew - Kressara

Second in our wacky crew is Kressara, our Sailing Master (for those who don’t do boats, that means she’s in charge of the sails, essentially). She’s an air genasi barbarian, an orphan, and a hardcore badass! Her weapon of choice is usually a broadsword of some kind, but she’s extremely dangerous with anything in her hands. She has a bit of a temper when she’s in the thick of battle, but otherwise is cool, calm, and collected. She’s loyal to a fault, protective, and is always happy to join in on fun when certain other crew members start it (we’ll get to that later).

This face right here is her I’m-going-to-enjoy-smashing-you-into-a-thousand-pieces face.

That’s about all I know of her. She worked on the docks until something better came along, and now she’s with us. If I know more, you’ll know more.

In an alternate reality....

Out of curiosity, I decided to do a little color palette swapping side project in my spare time. As it implies, each character will have their palettes from the Tokyo Mew Mew 2002 anime and New switched.

It all looks a bit uncanny to me. Not sure if it's the aesthetics of the two series, the difference in the thickness in the outlines, the coloring kind of clashing with the original backgrounds in the scenes chosen or if it's just the differing styles in general. Or maybe I'm just used to the two series being just the way they are XD.
