Hiiii, I love your writing, I had a request for blurb night and was wondering if you could write something about the reader and lance trying to explain to the kids the condition and how ivf works and stuff like that, thank you :)

Note: thank you 🫶 I don't actually remember how I found out about it, if I'm really honest - I think I always knew I was different compared to my friends on that aspect, so my own experience isn't specific 😅

"Where did we come from, mummy?", Addalynn asked as you sat on the sofa while feeding Genevieve as Lance got the living room ready for movie night.

"Well, babies come to their families in different ways", you started, "for me and daddy, it was a little harder than for some people because I have a health condition that makes it a little more difficult", you said, looking at Lance for reassurance that you were doing a good job and so that he could sit next to you.

"Are you sick, mummy?", Margot asked.

"It's not like I'm sick when we have the flu and get a really stuffy nose and feel cold, it's more like something I have all the time, but it's okay, love, nothing is going to happen to me", you tranquilized her, "Do you remember reading that book that was about a little swimmer making it's way to the egg? Well, mummy's eggs are trapped and no swimmer could get to them, and because of that, the doctors have to unlock the egg from it's home so the swimmers can meet the egg", you attempted.

"And then they put them in your tummy?", Addalynn wondered, "That's why you did the injections?", she recalled as there had been instances when she was in the room when Lance helped you with the treatments.

"Yes, to make sure my tummy was a nice place for the baby to grow and to make sure I had enough eggs", you explained.

"And did you have to do anything, daddy?", Margot said as she cuddled up to Lance.

"I only had to help mummy so she wouldn't do it alone, give the doctor the swimmers and then they made sure they found mummy's egg", he went along with it, thinking the explanation was safe enough for them.

"So you really wanted babies then?", Addalynn reasoned, "you had to go to the doctor when you didn't have one".

"Yes, we did, princess; we tried on our own for a while, but when it didn't work, we asked for help because we wanted every single one of you", you smiled.

"You're all very loved and very wanted, that's for sure", Lance assured, kissing Margot's cheek and squeezing Addalynn's leg that was stretched over your thighs and looking at you and Viv as the little girl was now getting burped.

"Oh, big one", you wiped her chin as some milk came out, "we love you girls so so so much", you cooed.

1. genshin vivian and albedo ummm i feel like this would be one of the more implied canon relationships she has since she'd 100% have a lot of art where they're pictured together. she spent a lot of time with him and klee on her return to mondstadt and tried to teach herself more alchemy because of him :]

They were sitting against the wall right outside the bedroom. They'd tried to get to the balcony but their legs had gone numb after a few steps. The door was closed but they could still hear Virgil's slow snoring. The ash from their cigarette was getting on the floor.

The care package appeared on the floor in front of them. There was a water bottle and a pack of cookies. Remy was close to devouring the cookies immediately before remembering you were there. They hid their mouth behind their arm like bad dracula impersonator while eating.

"What would you even help me with" Remy mumbled "Nothing happened. Like me and Vi- I just overreacted and- Nothing happened. I've already forgiven him anyhow. I mean like forgiven his horrible eyeliner, 'cause nothing else happened. We just had a discussion 'bout out relationship, came to some good conclusions and like then we moved on. That's like how it works. Nothing happened"

They picked up a stress ball and tried to squeeze it but their fingers were too weak. They quickly hid it away again before the feeling of being pathetic had time to creep in.

"If I asked you to leave me alone would you do it? If all I wanted was for you to stop talking about Virgil and just let me live with him would you do it, even if he kept..even if I had to keep forgiving him?"

Even though their eyes stayed serious they forced on a half joking tone as they continued.

Janus sat in the staircase going up to Remus and Rowan's apartment. They could still hear the beat of the music through the door. Their eyes were stuck staring at a random spot in the floor as their breathe was caught in their throat.

The sudden sound of your voice startled them. They moved their hands up to their face to somehow try to wipe away the miserable look on their face.

"Yes uhm salutations hello?" They let out in a shaky voice while looking over to you.

By the time you had finished speaking Janus looked actively nauseous. He leaned his arm against the wall to force himself up on his feet. The music had turned off for a moment and he could hear one of the people at the party loudly, clearly a bit tipsy, if they wanted to have another round of karaoke.

"I- I think I need some air"

It felt like the walls were closing in around him as he walked down the stairs, farther and farther away from the party. The clock in the entrance said that it was past 2 am. He hadn't realized it'd been over 4 hours since he got here. He stumbled out into the finely trimmed grass outside the apartment building.

"this is my fault" Janus mumbled out as he sat down on the grass "this is all my fault. if i hadn't given them the number to the shelter- if i hadn't spoken to virgil- he wasn't physically abusive before that was he? this is all my fault- this is- oh what am i doing. Remy is in danger and i'm making it all about myself. i'm sorry"

Janus gnashed his teeth and shut his eyes so tightly dark figures played in his vision.

"I....I can't lie here....I....I don't know what to do....I thought....no matter what it seems to hurt them...sorry you sincerely didn't ruin my day but....but this is just a really bad time...my head is a mess...I....I don't want to hurt them....I keep hurting people I love..I...I don't know what to do. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I don't want to hurt anyone"

Maybe at some other time he would have been able to see that Remy calling the abuse shelter at all was a good sign, but not right now. Right now he could barely even focus on breathing.

"Do you think there's any chance that Virgil would....would..stop being physically abusive? If I stopped trying to fix things maybe he wouldn't hurt them physically at least. There's a direct line from my actions to his isn't there? Even Remy has said for me to uhm forget about them....I don't know.....I don't know...I don't want to leave them with him but I'm so afraid that if I do anything more it will just lead to them being hurt again. If- if the abuse worsens an-and Virgil goes too far- then- Remy- their blood will be on my hands"

He hid his face in his hands and choked back the bile rising in his throat.

"I don't know how to make them leave. I don't know how to make them see that Virgil is- even if he stops being physically abusive he will still be abusive. I don't know how to help them. I don't know how to stop hurting people I love"

He desperately tried to hold back his feelings. He didn't want to take the focus away from Remy. He didn't want pity for being unable to help them.

"Just please keep contact with them. If they ask for me to help them then...then I will! Of course! But- I don't know how to help them if they won't let me! Please...make sure they as safe as they can...Please don't let them forget I'm here for them, whenever they want me"

They hesitated and their voice shook as they quietly added.

"And please make sure Remus is okay.....Please...I don't want to hurt anyone ever again"
