My reads:

I’ve been recently trying to read up with my favourite romance manga “Daytime Shooting Star”. Some say that it’s “cheesy” or “boring” read, but I enjoy it. That’s the thing- people often try to bring your joy down from manga’s or books that YOU enjoy, just because they didn’t like it. It’s a shame. 

Walking away from the subject, I should pick up ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’, as it’s one of my favourite films. Highley recommend it!

waking up slowly

today I was woken up at 6:30 am. my mom yelled up the stairs into my cabin's loft "you need to walk Margaery", Margaery is my dog. we battled for around 5 minutes, of course, I started dreaming that I woke up, put on a shirt and sweatshirt, and began suiting up my dog to go out. It's been raining in the Adirondacks for a good while now and my dog has a cute green jacket for rainy/cold weather. after realizing that I was, in fact, dreaming I finally got up and walked the baby. Margaery is almost three years old now. the only reason we call her "the baby" (pronounced ba-bé) is that the day before we got her my mom, my sister, and I were watching an episode of "Schitt's Creek" where Moria made the statement "Well where is the ba-bé's chamber?" and when we picked her up my sister said "Well where is the ba-bé's chamber going to be?" and it stuck from then on. after I walked her I got her food ready and sat down on the couch to relax for a bit. I closed my eyes for a second Next thing I knew it was 8:50, and I was finally well rested. As I woke up and entered the kitchen I discovered my mom made a pot of coffee and I poured myself a cup. Whenever we are at my cabin upstate we have the most relaxed laid back mornings, my mom and I sat around our kitchen "island" (it's an old desk we found in our attic back home) talking about our day. I decided to make sausage and eggs for breakfast so I got all of the ingredients ready and put on my favorite podcast "Violating Community Guidelines with Britney Broski and Sarah Schauer" if you don't listen I HIGHLEY recommend they are absolutely hilarious and continue to make my breakfast. As I sat down to eat I finally decided to make my first post on this account. Hopefully, I will be able to post once a day.

Yeah!!! There is this one (1) writer in particular that I used to read a lot. Their works are so good and they’re very on character with him so it isn’t fluffy at all. They got a TON of hxh works. It’s pretty much highley yandere at this point but,, dare I explain why I enjoy it HAHA. Anyway, their @ is @ramwrites and their masterlist is pinned! 

@imagination-of-a-thirsty-weeb also has rly good hisoka writings! Just anything under the hisoka tag is good,, I haven’t been on it in like eight months so I was just scrolling through it but,, it all looked so enjoyable TT

hi you whittle??? how do you even get into whittling? wouldn’t it be messy? do you do it outside? that’s so cool i have so many questions

Aksjaskhskaksb so I need a new hobby every 2-4 months or I will die, and knitting/fiber crafts just ain't it for me texture wise. So my grandfather (may he rot in hell 💖) whittled a lot and I was like 'I can do that!!'

I mostly work with softer woods and soap, so if you do it over a table or a trash can it's not super messy. I only have like a few fixed knives, so I'm not creating sawdust or tiny shavings so its pretty easy to clean up. You definitely can do it outside tho!

I highley recommend. It's super relaxing, pretty easy to get into financially and skill wise (just please for the love of god buy a thumb pad), and!!! People get insanely excited when you make them bowls and spoons and shit!!

what are the best Marvel comics out there you would recommend?

i dont read a lot of marvel but of what i have read i highley recommend young avengers v2 by kieron gillen, ms marvel by g willow wilson, the champions by mark waid, spider-gwen by jason latour, and west coast avengers by kelly thompson (though this one was sadly cancelled after 10 issues).

i’ve also heard excellent things about squirrel girl by ryan north, daredevil by chip zdarsky, and both runaways v1 by brian k. vaughan and runaways v2 by rainbow rowell but haven’t the opportunity to read them myself yet.

oh! and these last two weeks i’ve picked up loki #1 by daniel kibblesmith (which was a lot of fun), jane foster: valkyrie #1 by jason aaron (which i havent had the chance to read yet), and house of x #1 by jonathan hickman (which i also haven’t had the chance to read yet).

i’m sure there are plenty of writers out there who will happily dive into that sort of fic !!!! i can’t make any direct recommendations because i understand that not a lot of writers accept requests/suggestions for writing, and i don’t want to burden them with something like that, even if indirectly.
