I just realized I never posted Hibbi's 'new' ref here? That's a crime???

Anyway doomed by the narrative siren my beloved;; more about her under read more with some slightly reworked story for her!

She's a siren now if you haven't noticed or didn't know, can transforms into a land cookie at will(no longer linked to her necklace), is still part of the Cookies of Darkness but not necessarily an official member; she owns D.E a favor... Kinda like Butter Roll Cookie's situation.

Has been alone since she was a guppy because sirens are often solitary creatures and often abandon their offspring as soon as they're able to swim.

As a guppy she managed to travel to the Duskgloom Sea where Black Pearl Found her and sort of adopted her, since B.P knew how powerful a siren could be with their hypnotizing songs, Hibiscus became like a 'henchman' for her to lure ships further into the Duskgloom Sea and sink them more efficiently. Dysfunctional merfolk family/J

As a teen she meets Praline Cookie, a girl part of a hunter monster organization and daughter of the head of that order, she got a crush on her for the longest time and actually became friends, but the moment she confessed it put a rift in their relationship since Praline was in love with someone else (Raspberry Mousse Cookie, who btw didn't return Praline's feelings) causing them to separate ways for many years.

After some years pass Hibiscus abandons Black Pearl to live her own life and would have a child; Sorbet Shark Cookie(who's part mermaid, don't ask who the other parent is that's not important /LH), since they were the only thing she had she decided to fight her instincts and raise them for as long as she could, best mom really.

However after going out of her nest to get food one day, she's captured by pirates and forced away from her child for days. And when she finally escapes, blood on her sharp teeth, she comes back to a destroyed nest, her child is just gone.

She's spirals into a manic state trying to search for her child, not finding them anywhere, telling herself they had to be alive. It came to the point where she ended up washed up to land, starving and alone... Until she's found by Dark Enchantress...

Bonuses facts:

Has a pet named Minty-pus, a salt rock octopus that has stayed by her side for a long time, good for emotional support.

'Hunted' by Praline Cookie as Hibiscus was marked as a 'monster' by the Praline Order Praline Cookie is part of.

Sort of sarcastic with those who annoy her.

Very protective towards Poison Mushroom and acts as a sort of mother figure to them, probably because she remains them to her own missing child.

She's now a popular singer, her songs can absorb the love from a cookie if she wants and store it in her necklace, transforming into magic power.

Sorbet Shark was very young went they went missing and doesn't remember Hibiscus at all.

Still has a crush on Praline and will 'jokingly' flirt with her went they have an encounter with each other.

Actually very scared of D.E.

If she was in canon maybe she meets Gingerbrave and co. at the beginning of the story trying to block their way like the other Cookies of Darkness by seducing hypnotizing Chili Pepper with her song and make her fight for her.

She's conflicted about serving the Enchantress but thinks it's the right way to find her child, and has developed a bit of a selfish personality.

been thinking about the only green (and shadow) survived some terrible thing au, and i have some, later in life, mostly happy/peaceful times head canons.

i would like to add, i am a rainbow shipper, but short of like, one or two of these, they all stand true whether they are together or not.

• personally in my head as ive been thinking of this au, green lost a leg (specifically his left leg, but either works tbh)

• shadows magic is somewhat tied to the links, so with only one left, it is much weaker than it was before the incident

• green forgets to pay attention to his own bady sometimes, leading to shadow carrying him home when he accidentally stays out to long and can no longer comfortably walk on his prosthetic

• shadow has a similar problem, with its magic. its so used to having a certain amount, so when it runs out more quickly than it expects, shadow will drop whatever it was holding with it. including itself.

• green eventually finds that tea and gardening help him relax when hes overestimated emotionally.

• shadow, on the other hand, finds comfort in closeness. while green may be fine just knowing shadows around, shadows previous clingyness gets ramped up to 11 when its having any kinda of reminder of the incident.

• the day of the incident, once it was all over, shadow clutched onto the first link it found, not letting go until green found them. green on the other hand, used his energy to find the others, trying to make sure they where ok.

• they both have nightmares about it.

• in greens nightmares he lost shadow as well. shadow on the other hand, sees a different link in its arms every time. to the point that, as the years go on, it forgets who it even really was it found that day.

• green remembers

• as the years go on, and the heal from it, they start to get comfortable talking about the others again. this eventually leads to a running joke where they claim one of them is dealing with something. dont know how to do something blue was good at? "im leaving it in blues hands" gotta step away from the stove for a moment "no worries, red wont let it burn on us." cant find something in the library "go ask vio"

• if we are going with any kinda rainbow shipping it takes at least ten years after the incident before they get married. (that being said, if they are together, the do get married eventually)

• red and shadow where friends with the local florist before the incident, afterwards, every year on the anniversary, he brings shadow and green a bouquet. red gerbera, blue forget-me-nots, and violets.

• as they get used to it, shadow eventually has a cup of tea ready for him to go when he gets there

• eventually, as they all get on in age, the florists grandson takes over the deliveries. shadow makes a new cup of tea for him, explaining that his grandfather once told it his favorite tea.

• green always splits the bouquet in half while shadow makes them breakfast. they take the prettier half to the grave in the hyrule castle graveyard

• at first they just dropped it off and left, as they got older they started to stay longer, eventually starting to bring a picnic blanket and making a day of it, staying to talk to the others.

i always have fun hearing what different things ppl like, so! reblog n tag what sort of scents you like best!

my favorites are always sweet scents- whether its desserty, fruity, candy, or floral! 🎂🍓🍭🌹 its my absolute jam!! it can be nice if it has a bit of a smokey scent to it too, like with sweet-smelling incense! (currently have a raspberry rose incense burning right now owo) and my all-time fave body spray is defintely the cotton candy champagne one i got from bath n body works!

Ginger and Hibiscus Chocolates

If watching Wonka inspired you to make (more!) chocolates, then you might want to give these a try! My sister and Dad love white chocolate, and so whenever I make chocolates, I do make a batch of these for them, filling them with something sharp and tangy, which I think contrasts well with the sweetness and creaminess of the white chocolate. This year, I made these merry, bright and fragrant Ginger and Hibiscus Chocolates, which make a lovely gift to bring to any New Year's Party you're invited to!

Ingredients (makes 15 chocolates):

180 grams/6.35 ounces good quality white chocolate

Ginger and Hibiscus Jelly

I In a medium bowl over simmering water, melt 130 grams/4.5 ounces white chocolate, until smooth, shiny and silky. Remove from heat, and stir in remaining white chocolate with a spatula, to help chocolate cool. Then, return over simmering water, until smooth and slack again, to temper. Remove from the heat.

Using a clean brush (like a small paint brush), coat the bottom of sides of twelve indentations in a silicon chocolate mold with melted white chocolate. Chill in the refrigerator, half an hour, then reapeat, to make sure there is no uncoated spaces left. Return to the refrigarator, to chill and harden, another half hour.

Spoon about ½ to ¾ teaspoon of Ginger and Hibiscus Jelly into each white chocolate case, and return once again to the refrigerator to chill, a quarter of an hour.

Finally, spoon about a teaspoon of melted white chocolate onto the Jelly of each chocolate, spreading to the edges to form the base. Return to the fridge and chill overnight.

Enjoy these delicious Ginger and Hibiscus Chocolates with a cup of coffee or tea, or well-chilled Champagne!
