for a little headcanon: in the UAC universe, in the far future, they're living together and all is well, Mickey still sometimes draws little doodles of Jonnie and Zander living an obvious parallel of their own life and it amuses Ian to no end when he finds the little (oftentimes quite nsfw) doodles tacked onto the fridge or onto the bathroom mirror for him to find first thing in the morning.

and at some point mickey starts subtly adding a small detail to his drawings and ian only notices after mickey proposed to him that for several weeks jonnie and zander have been wearing rings in the drawings.
